In 2019 and 2020, the Nevada Bird Records Committee reviewed 79 reports from the period 4 November 1955 to 23 October 2020. Seventy of them were endorsed. It added three species to the state checklist, the Field Sparrow (Spizella pusilla), Mexican Duck (Anas diazi), and Pine Warbler (Setophaga pinus). Two of those (the Field Sparrow and Pine Warbler) were added to the review list. The Mexican Duck was elevated from subspecies to species status, and it, along with six other species, were removed from the review list. In 2018, the Nevada Bird Records Committee reviewed 56 reports from the period 23 May 1981-23 July 2018; 46 were endorsed. No new species were added to the state list, which stands at 489 species. The review list underwent a major revision in August 2018, reducing the number of full species requiring review from 141 to 108; two additional subspecies remain on the list. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In 2017, the Nevada Bird Records Committee reviewed 83 reports from the period 6 February 1940-1 November 2017; 66 were endorsed. Two new species, the White Ibis (Eudocimus albus) and the Arctic Warbler (Phylloscopus borealis) sensu lato, were added to the Nevada list following endorsement of the first state records. The endorsement of a record of the Black Rail (Laterallus jamaicensis) completed our years-long project to have endorsed records for every species on the Nevada list that the committee reviews.
