Abstract

The article presents the case study of atypical antipsychotics in the treatment of schizophrenia during pregnancy and the postpartum. The case study examines the challenges that arise when the 38-year married woman with psychiatric disorders require treatment during pregnancy and lactation. The study also examines the need of the risk-benefit analysis of medication use during pregnancy and the postpartum of the patient.
