The intrusion detection process is important in various applications to identify unauthorized Internet of Things (IoT) network access. IoT devices are accessed by intermediators while transmitting the information, which causes security issues. Several intrusion detection systems are developed to identify intruders and unauthorized access in different software applications. Existing systems consume high computation time, making it difficult to identify intruders accurately. This research issue is mitigated by applying the Interrupt-aware Anonymous User-System Detection Method (IAU-S-DM). The method uses concealed service sessions to identify the anonymous interrupts. During this process, the system is trained with the help of different parameters such as origin, session access demands, and legitimate and illegitimate users of various sessions. These parameters help to recognize the intruder's activities with minimum computation time. In addition, the collected data is processed using the deep recurrent learning approach that identifies service failures and breaches, improving the overall intruder detection rate. The created system uses the TON-IoT dataset information that helps to identify the intruder activities while accessing the different data resources. This method's consistency is verified using the metrics of service failures of 10.65%, detection precision of 14.63%, detection time of 15.54%, and classification ratio of 20.51%. The enormous developments in technology have transformed the way we interact with the world around us. The methodologies based on neural networks are substantial to accomplish sentiment analysis in the Social Internet of Things (SIoT). With social media sentiment analysis, significant insights can produce efficient and intelligent applications. Neural networks such as recurrent neural networks (RNNs) and convolution neural networks (CNNs) have been considered widely in many text classification tasks. However, RNNs are computationally expensive and require complex training to capture contextual information and long-term dependencies. Similarly, traditional CNNs must stack multiple convolutional layers, requiring massive computations and additional parameters. To address these problems, this work initialized the novel architecture, in which contextual representations (CRs) based on the textual framework are proposed at the initial step. In CRs, state-of-the-art word representation models, such as GloVe (global vectors) and FastText (subword information), collectively produce word representations upon the input sequence using a weight mechanism. Secondly, a unique way is introduced: a three-parallel layered dilated convolutional network with global mean pooling. The experimental results show that the proposed methods when compared with baseline methods, the dilation in CNNs following CRs significantly increases the accuracy from 72.45 to 98.98% and reduces computational resources. Gastrointestinal (GI) cancer is leading general tumour in the Gastrointestinal tract, which is fourth significant reason of tumour death in men and women. The common cure for GI cancer is radiation treatment, which contains directing a high-energy X-ray beam onto the tumor while avoiding healthy organs. To provide high dosages of X-rays, a system needs for accurately segmenting the GI tract organs. The study presents a UMobileNetV2 model for semantic segmentation of small and large intestine and stomach in MRI images of the GI tract. The model uses MobileNetV2 as an encoder in the contraction path and UNet layers as a decoder in the expansion path. The UW-Madison database, which contains MRI scans from 85 patients and 38,496 images, is used for evaluation. This automated technology has the capability to enhance the pace of cancer therapy by aiding the radio oncologist in the process of segmenting the organs of the GI tract. The UMobileNetV2 model is compared to three transfer learning models: Xception, ResNet 101, and NASNet mobile, which are used as encoders in UNet architecture. The model is analyzed using three distinct optimizers, i.e., Adam, RMS, and SGD. The UMobileNetV2 model with the combination of Adam optimizer outperforms all other transfer learning models. It obtains a dice coefficient of 0.8984, an IoU of 0.8697, and a validation loss of 0.1310, proving its ability to reliably segment the stomach and intestines in MRI images of gastrointestinal cancer patients. Social media (SM) based surveillance systems, combined with machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques, have shown potential for early detection of epidemic outbreaks. This review discusses the current state of SM-based surveillance methods for early epidemic outbreaks and the role of ML and DL in enhancing their performance. Since, every year, a large amount of data related to epidemic outbreaks, particularly Twitter data is generated by SM. This paper outlines the theme of SM analysis for tracking health-related issues and detecting epidemic outbreaks in SM, along with the ML and DL techniques that have been configured for the detection of epidemic outbreaks. DL has emerged as a promising ML technique that adapts multiple layers of representations or features of the data and yields state-of-the-art extrapolation results. In recent years, along with the success of ML and DL in many other application domains, both ML and DL are also popularly used in SM analysis. This paper aims to provide an overview of epidemic outbreaks in SM and then outlines a comprehensive analysis of ML and DL approaches and their existing applications in SM analysis. The abnormal heart conduction, known as arrhythmia, can contribute to cardiac diseases that carry the risk of fatal consequences. Healthcare professionals typically use electrocardiogram (ECG) signals and certain preliminary tests to identify abnormal patterns in a patient's cardiac activity. To assess the overall cardiac health condition, cardiac specialists monitor these activities separately. This procedure may be arduous and time-intensive, potentially impacting the patient's well-being. This study automates and introduces a novel solution for predicting the cardiac health conditions, specifically identifying cardiac morbidity and arrhythmia in patients by using invasive and non-invasive measurements. The experimental analyses conducted in medical studies entail extremely sensitive data and any partial or biased diagnoses in this field are deemed unacceptable. Therefore, this research aims to introduce a new concept of determining the uncertainty level of machine learning algorithms using information entropy. To assess the effectiveness of machine learning algorithms information entropy can be considered as a unique performance evaluator of the machine learning algorithm which is not selected previously any studies within the realm of bio-computational research. This experiment was conducted on arrhythmia and heart disease datasets collected from Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Berth Israel Hospital-arrhythmia (DB-1) and Cleveland Heart Disease (DB-2), respectively. Our framework consists of four significant steps: 1) Data acquisition, 2) Feature preprocessing approach, 3) Implementation of learning algorithms, and 4) Information Entropy. The results demonstrate the average performance in terms of accuracy achieved by the classification algorithms: Neural Network (NN) achieved 99.74%, K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) 98.98%, Support Vector Machine (SVM) 99.37%, Random Forest (RF) 99.76 % and Naïve Bayes (NB) 98.66% respectively. In the current era, a new class of lightweight, silent, and all-electric aircraft that can take off and land vertically is about to transform mobility in major urban centers. Safer and quieter than helicopters, and operating in some cases without a pilot, they can supplement land mobility. Indeed, urban air mobility (UAM) has recently been a hot topic for debate and scientific research. However, it requires new types of service and technology and a novel business model. For a successful implementation, this paper provides the most insightful knowledge and actors, focusing on demand assessment through current research advancements in the area of urban air mobility. For that purpose, bibliometric analysis has been conducted, using a four-step methodology based on the search of the most frequently used keywords. Urban air mobility, also known as UAM, is currently being researched in a variety of metropolitan regions throughout the world as a potential new mode of transport for travelling shorter distances inside a territory. In this article, we investigate whether or not the market can back the necessary financial commitments to deploy UAM. A challenge in defining and addressing a critical phase of such guidance is called a demand forecast problem. To achieve this goal, a deep learning model for forecasting temporal data is proposed. This model is used to find and study the scientific issues involved. A benchmark dataset of 150,000 records was used for this purpose. Our experiments used different state-of-the-art DL models: LSTM, GRU, and Transformer for UAM demand prediction. Software vulnerabilities pose a significant threat to system security, necessitating effective automatic detection methods. Current techniques face challenges such as dependency issues, language bias, and coarse detection granularity. This study presents a novel deep learning-based vulnerability detection system for Java code. Leveraging hybrid feature extraction through graph and sequence-based techniques enhances semantic and syntactic understanding. The system utilizes control flow graphs (CFG), abstract syntax trees (AST), program dependencies (PD), and greedy longest-match first vectorization for graph representation. A hybrid neural network (GCN-RFEMLP) and the pre-trained CodeBERT model extract features, feeding them into a quantum convolutional neural network with self-attentive pooling. The system addresses issues like long-term information dependency and coarse detection granularity, employing intermediate code representation and inter-procedural slice code. To mitigate language bias, a benchmark software assurance reference dataset is employed. Evaluations demonstrate the system's superiority, achieving 99.2% accuracy in detecting vulnerabilities, outperforming benchmark methods. Diabetes prediction is an ongoing study topic in which medical specialists are attempting to forecast the condition with greater precision. Diabetes typically stays lethargic, and on the off chance that patients are determined to have another illness, like harm to the kidney vessels, issues with the retina of the eye, or a heart issue, it can cause metabolic problems and various complexities in the body. Various worldwide learning procedures, including casting a ballot, supporting, and sacking, have been applied in this review. The Engineered Minority Oversampling Procedure (Destroyed), along with the K-overlay cross-approval approach, was utilized to achieve class evening out and approve the discoveries. Pima Indian Diabetes (PID) dataset is accumulated from the UCI Machine Learning (UCI ML) store for this review, and this dataset was picked. A brain tumor is an unnatural expansion of brain cells that can't be stopped, making it one of the deadliest diseases of the nervous system. The brain tumor segmentation for its earlier diagnosis is a difficult task in the field of medical image analysis. Earlier, segmenting brain tumors was done manually by radiologists but that requires a lot of time and effort. Inspite of this, in the manual segmentation there was possibility of making mistakes due to human intervention. It has been proved that deep learning models can outperform human experts for the diagnosis of brain tumor in MRI images. These algorithms employ a huge number of MRI scans to learn the difficult patterns of brain tumors to segment them automatically and accurately. Here, an encoder-decoder based architecture with deep convolutional neural network is proposed for semantic segmentation of brain tumor in MRI images. The proposed method focuses on the image downsampling in the encoder part. For this, an intelligent LinkNet-34 model with EfficientNetB7 encoder based semantic segmentation model is proposed. The performance of LinkNet-34 model is compared with other three models namely FPN, U-Net, and PSPNet. Further, the performance of EfficientNetB7 used as encoder in LinkNet-34 model has been compared with three encoders namely ResNet34, MobileNet_V2, and ResNet50. After that, the proposed model is optimized using three different optimizers such as RMSProp, Adamax and Adam. Forecasting rainfall is crucial to the well-being of individuals and is significant everywhere in the world. It contributes to reducing the disastrous effects of floods on agriculture, human life, and socioeconomic systems. This study discusses the challenges of effectively forecasting rainfall and floods and the necessity of combining data with flood channel mathematical modelling to forecast floodwater levels and velocities. This research focuses on leveraging historical meteorological data to find trends using machine learning and deep learning approaches to estimate rainfall. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department provided the data for the study, which also uses eight machine learning algorithms. The performance of the machine learning models is examined using evaluation measures like the R2 score, root mean squared error and validation loss. According to this research's findings, polynomial regression, random forest regression, and long short-term memory (LSTM) had the highest performance levels. Augmented reality (AR) technology is playing an important role in the preschool education. AR provides cost-effective learning systems which improve the attention skills of preschool children. In AR technology, the marker is used as an open-source computer tracking object to create AR applications that overlay virtual imagery on the physical world. Therefore, through augmented reality (AR) technology, learning materials, and knowledge can be visualized, and preschool children can learn interactively with the virtual model in an enjoyable manner and provide a stress-free teaching environment. This paper presents an ABCD AR Game for autistic children to learn the English alphabet innovatively. In the proposed system, a simple marker is used to recognize each character of the English alphabet to teach autistic children. After marker recognition, the ABCD AR-Game displays the corresponding image, helping students understand of English alphabets and their pronunciation, that provides multi-level gaming for reading, speaking, coloring, and writing under the teacher's and parent's supervision. The proposed system also provides game-based learning such as preview, question, read, self-recite, and test (PQRST) statistical method to optimize autistic children's reading and learning of English alphabets. For evaluations, seventy-two (72) autistic children, their parents, and ten teachers participated and were divided into two groups for the assessment. Evaluation results indicated that autistic children, parents, and teachers reacted positively to the ABCD AR-Game. Due to the modern power system's rapid development, more scattered smart grid components are securely linked into the power system by encircling a wide electrical power network with the underpinning communication system. By enabling a wide range of applications, such as distributed energy management, system state forecasting, and cyberattack security, these components generate vast amounts of data that automate and improve the efficiency of the smart grid. Due to traditional computer technologies' inability to handle the massive amount of data that smart grid systems generate, AI-based alternatives have received a lot of interest. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) will be specifically developed in this study to address this issue by incorporating the adaptively time-developing energy system's attributes to enhance the model of the dynamic properties of contemporary Smart Grid (SG) that are impacted by Revised Encoding Scheme (RES) or system reconfiguration to differentiate LSTM changes & real-time threats. More specifically, we provide a federated instructional strategy for consumer sharing of power data to Power Grid (PG) that is supported by edge clouds, protects consumer privacy, and is communication-efficient. They then design two optimization problems for Energy Data Owners (EDO) and energy service operations, as well as a local information assessment method in Federated Learning (FL) by taking non-independent and identically distributed (IID) effects into consideration. The test results revealed that LSTM had a longer training duration, four hidden levels, and higher training loss than other models. Bone marrow (BM) is an essential part of the hematopoietic system, which generates all of the body's blood cells and maintains the body's overall health and immune system. The classification of bone marrow cells is pivotal in both clinical and research settings because many hematological diseases, such as leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, and anemias, are diagnosed based on specific abnormalities in the number, type, or morphology of bone marrow cells. There is a requirement for developing a robust deep-learning algorithm to diagnose bone marrow cells to keep a close check on them. This study proposes a framework for categorizing bone marrow cells into seven classes. In the proposed framework, five transfer learning models—DenseNet121, EfficientNetB5, ResNet50, Xception, and MobileNetV2—are implemented into the bone marrow dataset to classify them into seven classes. The best-performing DenseNet121 model was fine-tuned by adding one batch-normalization layer, one dropout layer, and two dense layers. The proposed fine-tuned DenseNet121 model was optimized using several optimizers, such as AdaGrad, AdaDelta, Adamax, RMSprop, and SGD, along with different batch sizes of 16, 32, 64, and 128. The fine-tuned DenseNet121 model was integrated with an attention mechanism to improve its performance by allowing the model to focus on the most relevant features or regions of the image, which can be particularly beneficial in medical imaging, where certain regions might have critical diagnostic information. The proposed fine-tuned and integrated DenseNet121 achieved the highest accuracy, with a training success rate of 99.97% and a testing success rate of 97.01%. The key hyperparameters, such as batch size, number of epochs, and different optimizers, were all considered for optimizing these pre-trained models to select the best model. Breast cancer (BC) is the most common cancer among women, making it essential to have an accurate and dependable system for diagnosing benign or malignant tumors. It is essential to detect this cancer early in order to inform subsequent treatments. Currently, fine needle aspiration (FNA) cytology and machine learning (ML) models can be used to detect and diagnose this cancer more accurately. Consequently, an effective and dependable approach needs to be developed to enhance the clinical capacity to diagnose this illness. This study aims to detect and divide BC into two categories using the Wisconsin Diagnostic Breast Cancer (WDBC) benchmark feature set and to select the fewest features to attain the highest accuracy. To this end, this study explores automated BC prediction using multi-model features and ensemble machine learning (EML) techniques. To achieve this, we propose an advanced ensemble technique, which incorporates voting, bagging, stacking, and boosting as combination techniques for the classifier in the proposed EML methods to distinguish benign breast tumors from malignant cancers. In the feature extraction process, we suggest a recursive feature elimination technique to find the most important features of the WDBC that are pertinent to BC detection and classification. Furthermore, we conducted cross-validation experiments, and the comparative results demonstrated that our method can effectively enhance classification performance and attain the highest value in six evaluation metrics, including precision, sensitivity, area under the curve (AUC), specificity, accuracy, and F1-score. Overall, the stacking model achieved the best average accuracy, at 99.89%, and its sensitivity, specificity, F1-score, precision, and AUC/ROC were 1.00%, 0.999%, 1.00%, 1.00%, and 1.00%, respectively, thus generating excellent results. The findings of this study can be used to establish a reliable clinical detection system, enabling experts to make more precise and operative decisions in the future. Glomeruli are interconnected capillaries in the renal cortex that are responsible for blood filtration. Damage to these glomeruli often signifies the presence of kidney disorders like glomerulonephritis and glomerulosclerosis, which can ultimately lead to chronic kidney disease and kidney failure. The timely detection of such conditions is essential for effective treatment. This paper proposes a modified UNet model to accurately detect glomeruli in whole-slide images of kidney tissue. The UNet model was modified by changing the number of filters and feature map dimensions from the first to the last layer to enhance the model's capacity for feature extraction. Moreover, the depth of the UNet model was also improved by adding one more convolution block to both the encoder and decoder sections. The dataset used in the study comprised 20 large whole-side images. Due to their large size, the images were cropped into 512 × 512-pixel patches, resulting in a dataset comprising 50,486 images. The proposed model performed well, with 95.7% accuracy, 97.2% precision, 96.4% recall, and 96.7% F1-score. These results demonstrate the proposed model's superior performance compared to the original UNet model, the UNet model with EfficientNetb3, and the current state-of-the-art. Pomology, also known as fruticulture, is a significant contributor to the economies of many nations worldwide. While vertical farming methods are not well-suited for fruit cultivation, substrate-based cultivation is commonly practiced. Vertical farming methods use no soil for cultivation of the plants, and the cultivation is done in vertically stacked layers. Therefore, smaller herbs are best suited for such cultivation, whereas, the majority of the fruit trees are big and woody. Therefore, vertical farming methods are not well suited for fruit trees. However, to maximize fruit production, smarter substrate cultivation methods are needed. Utilizing remote sensing techniques, such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices, agriculture sensors, and cloud computing, allows for precision agriculture and smart farming in autonomous systems. Nevertheless, a lack of understanding of fruit nutrient requirements, growing conditions, and soil health conditions can result in reduced fruit production. To address these challenges, this paper proposes an intelligent model based on machine learning that recommends the best fruit to grow based on prevailing soil and climatic conditions. The system is trained on a dataset that includes details on eleven different fruits, such as Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P), Potassium (K), temperature, humidity, pH, and rainfall. The model takes into account the soil type and nutrient contents to recommend the most suitable fruit to grow in the prevailing climate. To enhance the model's efficiency, two novel techniques, Gradient-based Side Sampling (GOSS) and Exclusive Feature Bundling (EFB), have been incorporated. The results show that the proposed system has achieved 99% accuracy in recommending the right fruit based on the given environmental conditions. As a result, this system has the potential to significantly improve the profitability of the pomology industry and boost national economies.Article Highlights: This article aims at the creation of an efficient recommendation model for fruit cultivation in soil medium by analyzing the soil nutrient contents and the existing climatic conditions. The most suitable fruit plant corresponding to the existing conditions and soil type is recommended for an enhanced yield of the plant. Three climatic parameters, i.e., temperature, humidity, and rainfall; along with four soil-based parameters, i.e., pH, N content, P content, and K content are considered as the required growing condition for eleven varieties of fruits. Apple foliar diseases are a group of diseases that affect the leaves of apple trees. These diseases can significantly impact apple tree health and fruit yield. Ordinary apple foliar diseases include frog_eye_leaf_spots, powdery mildew, rust, apple scabs, etc. Early detection of these diseases is important for effective apple crop management to increase the yield of apples. Therefore, this research proposes a fine-tuned EfficientNetB3 model for the quick and precise assessment of these apple foliar diseases. A dataset containing 23,187 RGB images of eleven different apple foliar diseases is used for experimentation. The proposed model is compared with four transfer learning models, i.e., InceptionResNetV2, ResNet50, AlexNet, and VGG16. All models are fine-tuned by adding different layers like the global average pooling layer, flatten layer, dropout layer, and dense layer. The performance of these five models is compared in terms of the precision, recall, accuracy, and F1-score. The EfficientNetB3 outperformed the other models in terms of all performance parameters. The best model is further optimized with the help of three optimizers, i.e., Adam, SGD, and Adagrad. The proposed model achieved the precision, recall, and F1-score values of 86%, 88%, and 86%, respectively, at 32 batch sizes and 10 epochs. Besides, it is an open challenge for natural language processing (NLP) to detect such terminologies automatically. Substantial efforts are made for high-resource languages such as English. However, it becomes more challenging when dealing with resource-poor languages such as Urdu. Because of the lack of standard datasets and pre-processing tools for automatic offensive terms detection. This paper introduces a combinatorial preprocessing approach in developing a classification model for cross-platform (Twitter and YouTube) use. The approach uses datasets from two different platforms (Twitter and YouTube) the training and testing the model, which is trained to apply decision tree, random forest and naive Bayes algorithms. The proposed combinatorial pre-processing approach is applied to check how machine learning models behave with different combinations of standard pre-processing techniques for low-resource language in the cross-platform setting. The experimental results represent the effectiveness of the machine learning model over different subsets of traditional pre-processing approaches in building a classification model for automatic offensive terms detection for a low resource language, i.e., Urdu, in the cross-platform scenario. In the experiments, when dataset D1 is used for training and D2 is applied for testing, the pre-processing approach named Stopword removal produced better results with an accuracy of 83.27%. Whilst, in this case, when dataset D2 is used for training and D1 is applied for testing, stopword removal and punctuation removal were observed as a better preprocessing approach with an accuracy of 74.54%. The combinatorial approach proposed in this paper outperformed the benchmark for the considered datasets using classical as well as ensemble machine learning with an accuracy of 82.9% and 97.2% for dataset D1 and D2, respectively. In the network field, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) contain prolonged attention due to afresh augmentations. Industries like health care, traffic, defense, and many more systems espoused the WSN. To manage all these components, there is a need to select appropriate parameters which control the quality of service of WSN. Multiple sensor nodes are involved in transmitting vital information, and there is a need for secure and efficient routing to reach the quality of service. But due to the high cost of the network, WSN components have limited resources to manage the network. There is a need to design a lightweight solution that ensures the quality of service in WSN. The segmentation of gastrointestinal (GI) organs is crucial in radiation therapy for treating GI cancer. It allows for developing a targeted radiation therapy plan while minimizing radiation exposure to healthy tissue, improving treatment success, and decreasing side effects. Medical diagnostics in GI tract organ segmentation is essential for accurate disease detection, precise differential diagnosis, optimal treatment planning, and efficient disease monitoring. This research presents a hybrid encoder–decoder-based model for segmenting healthy organs in the GI tract in biomedical images of cancer patients, which might help radiation oncologists treat cancer more quickly. Here, EfficientNet B0 is used as a bottom-up encoder architecture for downsampling to capture contextual information by extracting meaningful and discriminative features from input images. The performance of the EfficientNet B0 encoder is compared with that of three encoders: ResNet 50, MobileNet V2, and Timm Gernet. The Feature Pyramid Network (FPN) is a top-down decoder architecture used for upsampling to recover spatial information. The performance of the FPN decoder was compared with that of three decoders: PAN, Linknet, and MAnet. This paper proposes a segmentation model named as the Feature Pyramid Network (FPN), with EfficientNet B0 as the encoder. Furthermore, the proposed hybrid model is analyzed using Adam, Adadelta, SGD, and RMSprop optimizers. Four performance criteria are used to assess the models: the Jaccard and Dice coefficients, model loss, and processing time. The proposed model can achieve Dice coefficient and Jaccard index values of 0.8975 and 0.8832, respectively. Knee osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic degenerative joint disease affecting millions worldwide, particularly those over 60. It is a significant cause of disability and can impact an individual’s quality of life. The condition occurs when the cartilage in the knee joint wears away over time, leading to bone-onbone contact, which can result in pain, stiffness, swelling, and decreased range of motion. Deep neural networks, especially convolutional neural networks (CNN), are powerful tools in medical applications such as diagnosis and detection. This research proposes a CNN model to classify knee osteoarthritis into five categories using x-ray images. These classes are labeled: Minimal, Healthy, Moderate, Doubtful, and Severe. Furthermore, the proposed CNN model has been compared with two pre-trained transfer learning models: Xception and InceptionResNet V2. These models were evaluated based on precision, recall, F1 score, and accuracy. The results showed that although all three models performed very well, the proposed model outperformed both transfer learning models with 98% accuracy. It also achieved the highest values for other parameters such as precision, recall, and F1 score. The proposed model has several potential applications in clinical practice, such as assisting doctors in accurately classifying knee osteoarthritis severity levels by analyzing single X-ray images. Such resources could harness the torrent of social media text data. Computational resources for rich languages such as English are available. More are being developed, meanwhile strengthening and enhancing the current ones. However, Roman Sindhi, a resource-poor writing style, is a phonetically rich language lacking computational resources, creating a working space for researchers. This work attempts to develop lexical sentiment resources that will help calculate the public opinion expressed in Roman Sindhi and bring their point of view into the limelight. This work is one of the initial efforts to develop lexical Roman Sindhi sentiment dictionary resources to help detect sentiment orientation in a text. Furthermore, it also developed two interfaces to leverage the lexical resources--a Roman Sindhi to English translator (RoSET) that translates a Roman Sindhi feature into an equivalent English word and a Roman Sindhi rule-based sentiment scorer (RBRS3) that assigns sentiment score to a Roman Sindhi script features. The results obtained from the developed system accommodated the bilingual dataset (Roman Sindhi + English) more adequately. An increase of 20.8% was recorded for positive sentence detection, and a 16% increase was obtained for negative sentences, whereas neutral sentences were marginalized to a lower number (59.31% decrease). Thalassemia syndrome is a genetic blood disorder induced by the reduction of normal hemoglobin production, resulting in a drop in the size of red blood cells. In severe forms, it can lead to death. This genetic disorder has posed a major burden on public health wherein patients with severe thalassemia need periodic therapy of iron chelation and blood transfusion for survival. Therefore, controlling thalassemia is extremely important and is made by promoting screening to the general population, particularly among thalassemia carriers. Today Twitter is one of the most influential social media platforms for sharing opinions and discussing different topics like people’s health conditions and major public health affairs. Exploring individuals’ sentiments in these tweets helps the research centers to formulate strategies to promote thalassemia screening to the public. An effective Lexiconbased approach has been introduced in this study by highlighting a classifier called valence aware dictionary for sentiment reasoning (VADER). In this study applied twitter intelligence tool (TWINT), Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK), and VADER constitute the three main tools. VADER represents a gold-standard sentiment lexicon, which is basically tailored to attitudes that are communicated by using social media. The contribution of this study is to introduce an effective Lexicon-based approach by highlighting a classifier called VADER to analyze the sentiment of the general population, particularly among thalassemia carriers on the social media platform Twitter. In this study, the results showed that the proposed approach achieved 0.829, 0.816, and 0.818 regarding precision, recall, together with F-score, respectively. The tweets were crawled using the search keywords, “thalassemia screening,” thalassemia test, “and thalassemia diagnosis”. Finally, results showed that India and Pakistan ranked the highest in mentions in tweets by the public’s conversations on thalassemia screening with 181 and 164 tweets, respectively. Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia is a type of cancer that occurs when abnormal white blood cells are produced in the bone marrow which do not function properly, crowding out healthy cells and weakening the immunity of the body and thus its ability to resist infections. It spreads quickly in children's bodies, and if not treated promptly it may lead to death. The manual detection of this disease is a tedious and slow task. Machine learning and deep learning techniques are faster than manual detection and more accurate. In this paper, a deep feature selection-based approach ResRandSVM is proposed for the detection of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in blood smear images. The proposed approach uses seven deep-learning models: ResNet152, VGG16, DenseNet121, MobileNetV2, InceptionV3, EfficientNetB0 and ResNet50 for deep feature extraction from blood smear images. After that, three feature selection methods are used to extract valuable and important features: analysis of variance (ANOVA), principal component analysis (PCA), and Random Forest. Then the selected feature map is fed to four different classifiers, Adaboost, Support Vector Machine, Artificial Neural Network and Naïve Bayes models, to classify the images into leukemia and normal images. The model performs best with a combination of ResNet50 as a feature extractor, Random Forest as feature selection and Support Vector Machine as a classifier with an accuracy of 0.900, precision of 0.902, recall of 0.957 and F1-score of 0.929. Pneumonia has been directly responsible for a huge number of deaths all across the globe. Pneumonia shares visual features with other respiratory diseases, such as tuberculosis, which can make it difficult to distinguish between them. Moreover, there is significant variability in the way chest X-ray images are acquired and processed, which can impact the quality and consistency of the images. This can make it challenging to develop robust algorithms that can accurately identify pneumonia in all types of images. Hence, there is a need to develop robust, data-driven algorithms that are trained on large, high-quality datasets and validated using a range of imaging techniques and expert radiological analysis. In this research, a deep-learning-based model is demonstrated for differentiating between normal and severe cases of pneumonia. This complete proposed system has a total of eight pre-trained models, namely, ResNet50, ResNet152V2, DenseNet121, DenseNet201, Xception, VGG16, EfficientNet, and MobileNet. These eight pre-trained models were simulated on two datasets having 5856 images and 112,120 images of chest X-rays. The best accuracy is obtained on the MobileNet model with values of 94.23% and 93.75% on two different datasets. Key hyperparameters including batch sizes, number of epochs, and different optimizers have all been considered during comparative interpretation of these models to determine the most appropriate model. The absence of reliable security mechanisms and the magnitude of security features are significant obstacles to enhancing IIoT security. Over the last few years, alarming attacks have been witnessed utilizing the vulnerabilities of the IIoT network devices. Moreover, the attackers can also sink deep into the network by using the relationships amidst the vulnerabilities. Such network security threats cause industries and businesses to suffer financial losses, reputational damage, and theft of important information. This paper proposes an SDN-based framework using machine learning techniques for intrusion detection in an industrial IoT environment. SDN is an approach that enables the network to be centrally and intelligently controlled through software applications. In our framework, the SDN controller employs a machine-learning algorithm to monitor the behavior of industrial IoT devices and networks by analyzing traffic flow data and ultimately determining the flow rules for SDN switches. We use SVM and Decision Tree classification models to analyze our framework's network intrusion and attack detection performance. A vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is a technique that uses vehicles with the ability to sense data from the environment and use it for their safety measures. Flooding is a commonly used term used for sending network packets. VANET may cause redundancy, delay, collision, and the incorrect receipt of the messages to their destination. Weather information is one of the most important types of information used for network control and provides an enhanced version of the network simulation environments. The network traffic delay and packet losses are the main problems identified inside the network. In this research, we propose a routing protocol which can transmit the weather forecasting information on demand based on source vehicle to destination vehicles, with the minimum number of hop counts, and provide significant control over network performance parameters. We propose a BBSF-based routing approach. The proposed technique effectively enhances the routing information and provides the secure and reliable service delivery of the network performance. The results taken from the network are based on hop count, network latency, network overhead, and packet delivery ratio. The results effectively show that the proposed technique is reliable in reducing the network latency, and that the hop count is minimized when transferring the weather information. The segmentation of lungs from medical images is a critical step in the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases. Deep learning techniques have shown great promise in automating this task, eliminating the need for manual annotation by radiologists. In this research, a convolution neural network architecture is proposed for lung segmentation using chest X-ray images. In the proposed model, concatenate block is embedded to learn a series of filters or features used to extract meaningful information from the image. Moreover, a transpose layer is employed in the concatenate block to improve the spatial resolution of feature maps generated by a prior convolutional layer. The proposed model is trained using k-fold validation as it is a powerful and flexible tool for evaluating the performance of deep learning models. The proposed model is evaluated on five different subsets of the data by taking the value of k as 5 to obtain the optimized model to obtain more accurate results. The performance of the proposed model is analyzed for different hyper-parameters such as the batch size as 32, optimizer as Adam and 40 epochs. Brain tumor diagnosis at an early stage can improve the chances of successful treatment and better patient outcomes. In the biomedical industry, non-invasive diagnostic procedures, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), can be used to diagnose brain tumors. Deep learning, a type of artificial intelligence, can analyze MRI images in a matter of seconds, reducing the time it takes for diagnosis and potentially improving patient outcomes. Furthermore, an ensemble model can help increase the accuracy of classification by combining the strengths of multiple models and compensating for their individual weaknesses. Therefore, in this research, a weighted average ensemble deep learning model is proposed for the classification of brain tumors. For the weighted ensemble classification model, three different feature spaces are taken from the transfer learning VGG19 model, Convolution Neural Network (CNN) model without augmentation, and CNN model with augmentation. These three feature spaces are ensembled with the best combination of weights, i.e., weight1, weight2, and weight3 by using grid search. The dataset used for simulation is taken from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), having a lower-grade glioma collection with 3929 MRI images of 110 patients. The ensemble model helps reduce overfitting by combining multiple models that have learned different aspects of the data. The proposed ensemble model outperforms the three individual models for detecting brain tumors in terms of accuracy, precision, and F1-score. Monitoring the Earth's surface and objects is important for many applications, such as managing natural resources, crop yield predictions, and natural hazard analysis. Remote sensing is one of the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for analyzing land-use and land-cover (LULC) changes over the Earth's surface through advanced computer algorithms, such as classification and change detection. In the past literature, various developments were made to change detection algorithms to detect LULC multitemporal changes using optical or microwave imagery. The optical-based hyperspectral highlights the critical information, but sometimes it is difficult to analyze the dataset due to the presence of atmospheric distortion, radiometric errors, and misregistration. In this work, an artificial neural network-based post-classification comparison (ANPC) as change detection has been utilized to detect the muti-temporal LULC changes over a part of Uttar Pradesh, India, using the Hyperion EO-1 dataset. The experimental outcomes confirmed the effectiveness of ANPC (92.6%) as compared to the existing models, such as a spectral angle mapper (SAM) based post-classification comparison (SAMPC) (89.7%) and k-nearest neighbor (KNN) based post-classification comparison (KNNPC) (91.2%). Social media platforms have become a substratum for people to enunciate their opinions and ideas across the globe. Due to anonymity preservation and freedom of expression, it is possible to humiliate individuals and groups, disregarding social etiquette online, inevitably proliferating and diversifying the incidents of cyberbullying and cyber hate speech. This intimidating problem has recently sought the attention of researchers and scholars worldwide. Still, the current practices to sift the online content and offset the hatred spread do not go far enough. One factor contributing to this is the recent prevalence of regional languages in social media, the dearth of language resources, and flexible detection approaches, specifically for low-resource languages. In this context, most existing studies are oriented towards traditional resource-rich languages and highlight a huge gap in recently embraced resource-poor languages. One such language currently adopted worldwide and more typically by South Asian users for textual communication on social networks is Roman Urdu. It is derived from Urdu and written using a Left-to-Right pattern and Roman scripting. This language elicits numerous computational challenges while performing natural language preprocessing tasks due to its inflections, derivations, lexical variations, and morphological richness. To alleviate this problem, this research proposes a cyberbullying detection approach for analyzing textual data in the Roman Urdu language based on advanced preprocessing methods, voting-based ensemble techniques, and machine learning algorithms. The study has extracted a vast number of features, including statistical features, word N-Grams, combined n-grams, and BOW model with TFIDF weighting in different experimental settings using GridSearchCV and cross-validation techniques. The detection approach has been designed to tackle users' textual input by considering user-specific writing styles on social media in a colloquial and non-standard form. The experimental results show that SVM with embedded hybrid N-gram features produced the highest average accuracy of around 83%. Among the ensemble voting-based techniques, XGboost achieved the optimal accuracy of 79%. Both implicit and explicit Roman Urdu instances were evaluated, and the categorization of severity based on prediction probabilities was performed. Time complexity is also analyzed in terms of execution time, indicating that LR, using different parameters and feature combinations, is the fastest algorithm. The results are promising with respect to standard assessment metrics and indicate the feasibility of the proposed approach in cyberbullying detection for the Roman Urdu language. Different sensors have been installed in a variety of IoT devices present in different industries such as transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, etc. The sensors present in these devices should automatically predict errors due to the extensive use of sensors in urban living. To ensure the integrity, precision, security, dependability and fidelity of sensor nodes, it is, therefore, necessary to foresee faults before they occur. Additionally, as more data is being collected by these devices every day, cloud computing becomes more necessary for sustainable urban living. The proposed model emphasizes solution recommendations for faults that occurred in real-life smart devices to mitigate faults at an early stage, which is a key requirement in today's smart offices. The proposed model monitors the real-time health of IoT devices through an ML algorithm to make devices more efficient and increase the quality of life. Through the use of K-Nearest Neighbor, Decision Tree, Gaussian Naive Bayes and Random Forest approach, the proposed fault prediction recommender model has been evaluated and Random Forest shows the highest accuracy compared to other classifiers. Several performance indicators such as recall, accuracy, F1 score and precision were utilized to examine the performance of the model. The results have demonstrated the effectiveness of ML techniques applied to sensors in predicting faults in smart offices with Random Forest being observed as the best technique with a maximum accuracy of 94.27%. Dysregulation of epigenetic mechanisms have been depicted in several pathological consequence such as cancer. Different modes of epigenetic regulation (DNA methylation (hypomethylation or hypermethylation of promotor), histone modifications, abnormal expression of microRNAs (miRNAs), long non-coding RNAs, and small nucleolar RNAs), are discovered. Particularly, lncRNAs are known to exert pivot roles in different types of cancer including breast cancer. LncRNAs with oncogenic and tumour suppressive potential are reported. Differentially expressed lncRNAs contribute a remarkable role in the development of primary and acquired resistance for radiotherapy, endocrine therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. A wide range of molecular subtype specific lncRNAs have been assessed in breast cancer research. A number of studies have also shown that lncRNAs may be clinically used as non-invasive diagnostic biomarkers for early detection of breast cancer. Such molecular biomarkers have also been found in cancer stem cells of breast tumours. Throughout the use of the small battery-operated sensor nodes encourage us to develop an energy-efficient routing protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Clustering is one of the most important techniques in the existing routing protocols. In the clustering-based model, the important thing is the selection of the cluster heads. In this paper, we have proposed a scheme that uses the bubble sort algorithm for cluster head selection by considering the remaining energy and the distance of the nodes in each cluster. Initially, the bubble sort algorithm chose the two nodes with the maximum remaining energy in the cluster and chose a cluster head with a small distance. The proposed scheme performs hierarchal routing and direct routing with some energy thresholds. The simulation will be performed in MATLAB to justify its performance and results and compared with the ECHERP model to justify its performance. The human gastrointestinal (GI) tract is an important part of the body. According to World Health Organization (WHO) research, GI tract infections kill 1.8 million people each year. In the year 2019, almost 5 million individuals were detected with gastrointestinal disease. Radiation therapy has the potential to improve cure rates in GI cancer patients. Radiation oncologists direct X-ray beams at the tumour while avoiding the stomach and intestines. The current objective is to direct the X-ray beam toward the malignancy while avoiding the stomach and intestines in order to improve dose delivery to the tumour. This study offered a technique for segmenting GI tract organs (small bowel, big intestine, and stomach) to assist radio oncologists to treat cancer patients more quickly and accurately. The suggested model is a U-Net model designed from scratch and used for the segmentation of a small size of images to extract the local features more efficiently. Furthermore, in the proposed model, six transfer learning models were employed as the backbone of the U-Net topology. The six transfer learning models used are Inception V3, SeResNet50, VGG19, DenseNet121, InceptionResNetV2, and EfficientNet B0. The suggested model was analysed with model loss, dice coefficient, and IoU. The results specify that the suggested model outperforms all transfer learning models, with performance parameter values as 0.122 model loss, 0.8854 dice coefficient, and 0.8819 IoU. Clean air is necessary for leading a healthy life. Many respiratory illnesses have their root in the poor quality of air across regions. Due to the tremendous impact of air quality on people's lives, it is essential to devise a mechanism through which air pollutants (PM2.5, NOx, COx, SOx) can be forecasted. However, forecasting air quality and its pollutants is complicated as air quality depends on several factors such as weather, vehicular, and power plant emissions. This aim of this research was to find the impact of weather on PM2.5 concentrations and to forecast the daily and hourly PM2.5 concentration for the next 30 days and 72 h in Pakistan. This forecasting was done through state-of-the-art deep learning and machine learning models such as FbProphet, LSTM, and LSTM encoder–decoder. This research also successfully forecasted the proposed daily and hourly PM2.5 concentration. The LSTM encoder–decoder had the best performance and successfully forecasted PM2.5 concentration with a mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of 28.2%, 15.07%, and 42.1% daily, and 11.75%, 9.5%, and 7.4% hourly for different cities in Pakistan. The amount of data captured is expanding day by day which leads to the need for a monitoring system that helps in decision making. Current technologies such as cloud, machine learning (ML) and Internet of Things (IoT) provide a better solution for monitoring automation systems efficiently. In this paper, a prediction model that monitors real-time data of sensor nodes in a clinical environment using a machine learning algorithm is proposed. An IoT-based smart hospital environment has been developed that controls and monitors appliances over the Internet using different sensors such as current sensors, a temperature and humidity sensor, air quality sensor, ultrasonic sensor and flame sensor. The IoT-generated sensor data have three important characteristics, namely, real-time, structured and enormous amount. The main purpose of this research is to predict early faults in an IoT environment in order to ensure the integrity, accuracy, reliability and fidelity of IoT-enabled devices. The proposed fault prediction model was evaluated via decision tree, K-nearest neighbor, Gaussian naive Bayes and random forest techniques, but random forest showed the best accuracy over others on the provided dataset. The results proved that the ML techniques applied over IoT-based sensors are well efficient to monitor this hospital automation process, and random forest was considered the best with the highest accuracy of 94.25%. Skin lesion segmentation plays a critical role in the precise and early detection of skin cancer via recent frameworks. The prerequisite for any computer- aided skin cancer diagnosis system is the accurate segmentation of skin malignancy. To achieve this, a specialized skin image analysis technique must be used for the separation of cancerous parts from important healthy skin. This procedure is called Dermatography. Researchers have often used multiple techniques for the analysis of skin images, but, because of their low accuracy, most of these methods have turned out to be at best, inconsistent. Proper clinical treatment involves sensitivity in the surgical process. A high accuracy rate is therefore of paramount importance. A generalized and robust model is needed to accurately assess and segment skin lesions. In this regard, a novel approach named Double U-Net has been proposed to provide necessary strength and Robustness. This process uses two U-Net architectures stacked upon each other with ASPP which is used to squeeze out a high resolution and redundant information. In this paper, we trained the proposed architecture on the PH² dataset and the model was evaluated on the PH² test, ISIC-2016 and HAM datasets. Evaluation of information shows the model achieved a DSC of 0.9551 on the PH2 test dataset, 0.8104 on ISIC- 2016 and 0.7645 on the HAM dataset. During the last decade, the abundance of wind, solar, and conventional energy sources have been widely utilized in Sindh, Pakistan, to meet the energy demand-supply gap of the country. Some of these energy projects have been approved, are under constructional and operational phases and have connected to the National grid successfully. However, these energy sources are being influenced by several constraints, which keep the project developmental phases away from their technological upgradation. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to perform a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis of existing energy projects in Sindh to examine its current conditions and future roadmap to promote its valuable utilization. The outcomes of the study have identified several socio-economic and environmental impacts on the sustainable development of renewable energy sources. The study concludes that energy strategic policy must contain financial profits, energy security, and environmental protection. This SWOT study will encourage local and foreign investors, researchers, and engineers to invest their financial and technical abilities towards Sindh to get benefit from the hub of energy sources. They can initiate independent power generation and distribution companies on stated sites and can provide cost-effective tariffs from green energy sources with more revenue and less payback period. Coronary heart disease has an intense impact on human life. Medical history-based diagnosis of heart disease has been practiced but deemed unreliable. Machine learning algorithms are more reliable and efficient in classifying, e.g., with or without cardiac disease. Heart disease detection must be precise and accurate to prevent human loss. However, previous research studies have several shortcomings, for example,take enough time to compute while other techniques are quick but not accurate. This research study is conducted to address the existing problem and to construct an accurate machine learning model for predicting heart disease. Our model is evaluated based on five feature selection algorithms and performance assessment matrix such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, MCC, and time complexity parameters. The proposed work has been tested on all of the dataset'sfeatures as well as a subset of them. The reduction of features has an impact on theperformance of classifiers in terms of the evaluation matrix and execution time. Experimental results of the support vector machine, K-nearest neighbor, and logistic regression are 97.5%,95 %, and 93% (accuracy) with reduced computation timesof 4.4, 7.3, and 8seconds respectively. Sustainability incorporation within the field of Software Engineering is an emerging research area. Sustainability, from an academic perspective, has been addressed to a large extent. However, when it comes to the software industry, the topic has not received much-needed attention. Software, being designed and developed in the industry, can benefit society at large, if sustainability is taken into account by the software professionals during the software design and development process. To develop a sustainable software application, knowledge and awareness about sustainability by professional software developers is one of the key elements. This study is an attempt to examine sustainability knowledge, importance, and support from the perspective of South Asian software professionals. Additionally, this study also proposes sustainability guidelines for certain software applications and also a catalog for the identification of sustainability requirements for different software applications. The queries such as 'What does sustainability mean to a professional software developer?', 'How does the software industry identify sustainability requirements?', 'How do software developers incorporate the sustainability parameters within software during software development?', and many other such queries are addressed in this study. To achieve this goal, a survey was carried out among 221 industry practitioners involved in software projects in various application domains such as banking, finance, and management applications. The results pinpoint that even though sustainability is deemed important by 91% of practitioners, still there is a lack of understanding regarding sustainability incorporation in software development. A total of 48% of professionals often misunderstand "Green software" as "sustainable software". The technical aspect of sustainability is considered most important by professionals (67%) as well as companies (77%). One of the key findings of this study is that 92% of software practitioners are not able to identify sustainability requirements for software applications. Breast cancer is the most frequent disease in women, with one in every 19 women at risk. Breast cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer death in women around the world. The most effective and efficient technique of controlling cancer development is early identification. Mammography helps in the early detection of cancer, which saves lives. Many studies conducted various tests to categorize the tumor and obtained positive findings. However, there are certain limits. Mass categorization in mammography is still a problem, although it is critical in aiding radiologists in establishing correct diagnoses. The purpose of this study is to develop a unique hybrid technique to identify breast cancer mass pictures as benign or malignant. The combination of two networks helps accelerate the categorization process. This study proposes a novel-based hybrid approach, CNN-Inception-V4, based on the fusing of these two networks. Mass images are used in this research from the CBIS-DDSM dataset. 450 images are taken for benign, and 450 images are used for malignant. The images are first cleaned by removing pectoral muscles, labels, and white borders. Then, CLAHE is used to these images to improve their quality in order to produce promising classification results. Following preprocessing, our model classifies cancer in mammography pictures as benign or malignant abnormalities. Our proposed model's accuracy is 99.2%, with sensitivity of 99.8%, specificity of 96.3%, and F1-score of 97%. We also compared our proposed model to CNN, Inception-V4, and ResNet-50. The dynamic evolution in the field of ST is evident from the publication rate over the last six years. The research study is carried out to provide insight into the field of ST from various research bibliometric aspects. Our methodological approach includes dividing the six-year time frame into the set of two symmetric but different periods (2016–2018) and (2019–2021) comprising a total of 75,098 records. VOSViewer is used to perform analysis with respect to collaboration network of countries and co-word assessment. Bibliometrix (Studio R) analysis tool is used to evaluate research themes/topics. The year 2019 leads the publication rate whereas a decrement in publication frequency is observed for the years 2020 and 2021. Our research study shows the influence of ST in other research domains as depicted in different research areas. Especially the impact of ST in the Electrical and Electronics Domain is quite notable. Most of the research publications are from the USA and China as they are among the most resourceful countries. On the whole, the majority of the publications are from Asian countries. Collaboration networks amongst countries demonstrate the fact that the higher the collaboration network, the greater would be the research output. Co-word analysis presents the relatedness of documents based on the keywords. The topic dendrogram is generated based on the identified research themes. Internet-of-Things (IoT) networks are witnessing a rapid proliferation of connected devices and mobile terminals each day. The wireless information flow between these massive battery-powered devices has a huge energy burden and will lead to an energy crisis in the near future; thus, there is an urgent search for sustainable energy networks. To offer a sustainable energy solution in order to meet the energy demands of these massive IoT networks, this paper presents a dynamic practical model that enables the efficient management of power resources. Two user-scheduling algorithms, namely, minimum distance scheduling (MDS) and maximum channel gain scheduling (MCS), are proposed; when these algorithms were used alongside a power optimization, they led to improved network efficiency. Further, the network's performance was measured with parametric variations in the number of access points (APs); the deployment of APs and AP configuration is carried out for different precoding schemes. The impact of spatial correlation and the access to perfect channel state information (CSI) on the spectral efficiency of the system was also evaluated. In the end, the study compares the performance of different power-allocation methods and suggests that the power allocated to a particular user node by an AP can be controlled using the proposed algorithms. It is observed that, as compared to the MDS algorithm, the MCS algorithm results in better spectral efficiency for all the users with fractional power allocation. In addition, each AP assigns a maximum power of 141.7 mW to a user with strong channel conditions with the AP, and a minimum power of 3.1882 mW to the user with the worst channel conditions using centralized PMMSE precoding. Sentiment analysis taskhas widely been studied for various languages such as English and French. However, Roman Urdu sentiment analysis yet requires more attention from peer-researchers due to the lack of Off-the-Shelf Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the diverse machine learning methods for the sentiment analysis of Roman Urdu data which is very informal in nature and needs to be lexically normalized. To mitigate this challenge, we propose a fine-tuned Support Vector Machine (SVM) powered by Roman Urdu Stemmer. In our proposed scheme, the corpus data is initially cleaned to remove the anomalies from the text. After initial pre-processing, each user review is being stemmed. The input text is transformed into a feature vector using the bag-of-word model. Subsequently, the SVM is used to classify and detect user sentiment. Our proposed scheme is based on a dictionary based Roman Urdu stemmer. The creation of the Roman Urdu stemmer is aimed at standardizing the text so as to minimize the level of complexity. The efficacy of our proposed model is also empirically evaluated with diverse experimental configurations, so as to fine-tune the hyper-parameters and achieve superior performance. Moreover, a series of experiments are conducted on diverse machine learning and deep learning models to compare the performance with our proposed model. We also introduced the largest dataset on Roman Urdu, i.e., Roman Urdu e-commerce dataset (RUECD), which contains 26K+ user reviews annotated by the group of experts. The RUECD is challenging and the largest dataset available of Roman Urdu.
