The article presents a study that focuses on the development of oar-boat-rower system model for the optimization of rowing performance. It cites the establishment of the model with parameters from mechanics, hydrodynamics and biomechanics. It also indicates the use of the model in evaluating the performance sensitivity to the parameters.

The article reports on results of a study of isokinetics for neck muscular fatigue assessment. A description of the experimental set-up and measurement method is presented. The study concluded that the first protocol for muscular neck evaluation can be used as an input for the development of a biomechanical model of a pilot useful for the design of a driving simulator.
