Background: As the COVID-19 pandemic heightened, infection control and prevention experts recommended clinical training opportunities be modified or discontinued, substantially impacting the function of clinical or medical teaching units (CTU). A CTU is structured to involve medical learners such that they become active participants of the health care team. Since a review of the literature demonstrates a paucity of data to guide pediatric CTU implementation during pandemic phases, we developed and disseminated a survey to assess Canadian practices. Method: A group of infectious disease specialists and pediatric hospitalists developed, tested, and disseminated surveys to understand CTU clinical rounding and teaching practices during the waves of the COVID-19 pandemic. Result: Our surveys demonstrate the variability in adapting rounding practices during this pandemic and highlights the opportunities to share our approaches and lessons learned to optimize learner experience and patient centered care during unprecedented times in our academic hospitals. We also show the pragmatic implementation of our new pediatric hospital CTU process that was informed by our survey results. The article presents an analysis of Bernard Shaw's play "Widower's Houses," within the context of London's slums and gender roles in society. It describes the settings which depicts the inadequate housing of the working class that serves as grounds for the exploitation of the poor by shrewd and unscrupulous businessmen. The dramatization of the female character giving an indication of the strength and single mindedness of women in Victorian society and the allusion to political and social problems while working within romantic plot of the play is also discussed. The parallelism of London's architecture and landscape with the role men and women played is also suggested.

We present a brief history of in vitro pollination/fertilization technology and discuss the applications of this technology in modem plant science. Applications coupling plant breeding and biotechnology/genetic engineering are emphasized In addition, we discuss three methodologies for in vitro pollination/fertilization using soybeans as an example. Objective To design a clinically pragmatic U.S. registry to collect postmarketing patient response and health economics data in patients with cervical dystonia (CD) who are treated with Dysport (also known as abobotulinumtoxinA for injection in the United States). These registration clinical trials were designed to measure standardized investigator-reported efficacy outcomes and safety data, and did not contain comprehensive assessments or predictors of patient-related outcomes and health economic outcomes.
