A data-driven channel prediction method for distribution automation master is proposed to address the poor quality of communication network and communication system transmission problems in distribution network communication. In this paper, an adaptive broad learning network (ABLN) consisting of a standard broad learning network and a hybrid learning network is introduced to predict the channel state information of the communication system. Among them, the hybrid learning network is used to solve the ill-conditioned solution problem when estimating the output weight matrix of the standard broad learning network. Therefore, the ABLN produces sparse output weight matrices and provides excellent prediction performance. In the simulation analysis, the outdoor and indoor scenes are considered based on OFDM system. The prediction performance of ABLN is subsequently evaluated in one step prediction and multistep prediction. The results show that for the prediction performance is concerned, the maximum improvement of ABLN is about 96.49% as compared to other evaluation models, indicating that the CSI is effectively predicted by the ABLN to support the adaptive transmission of the main station of the distribution automation and to satisfy the quality of the communication network of the distribution network. Time synchronization (TS) is crucial for ensuring the secure and reliable functioning of the distribution power Internet of Things (IoT). Multi-clock source time synchronization (MTS) has significant advantages of high reliability and accuracy but still faces challenges such as optimization of the multi-clock source selection and the clock source weight calculation at different timescales, and the coupling of synchronization latency jitter and pulse phase difference. In this paper, the multi-timescale MTS model is conducted, and the reinforcement learning (RL) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP)-based multi-timescale MTS algorithm is designed to improve the weighted summation of synchronization latency jitter standard deviation and average pulse phase difference. Specifically, the multi-clock source selection is optimized based on Softmax in the large timescale, and the clock source weight calculation is optimized based on lower confidence bound-assisted AHP in the small timescale. Salt stress detrimentally impacts plant growth, imperiling crop yield and food quality. Ameliorating plant resilience and productivity in saline environments is critical for global food security. Here, we report the positive effect of Arthrospira (Spirulina) on plant growth and salt tolerance in Arabidopsis and sweet sorghum. Arthrospira application greatly promotes seed germination and seedling growth in both species under salt stress conditions in a dosage-dependent manner. Application of 6 mg Arthrospira per plate significantly enhances K+/Na+ equilibrium and reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging in Arabidopsis, reducing salt-induced toxicity. The primary root length, survival rate, chlorophyll content, photosynthesis, plant height, biomass and yield were all improved in both species. Concurrently, Arthrospira demonstrated the synthesis of compatible solutes, such as trehalose (Tre) and glucosylglycerol (GG), contributing to heightened stress tolerance when co-cultivated with Arabidopsis on plates. Transcriptome analysis revealed dramatic up-/downregulation of genes involved in phytohormone signal transduction, chlorophyll and photosynthesis metabolism, and phenylpropanoid metabolism in Arabidopsis. Furthermore, the application of Arthrospira exerted a positive influence on the rhizosphere bacteriome structure in sweet sorghum, crucial for nutrient cycling and soil health enhancement. Our findings uncovered the underlying mechanisms of algae-plants interaction in saline soil, proposing strategies to enhance crop productivity and soil quality, thereby addressing the urgent need for sustainable agriculture practices to mitigate salinity's repercussions amidst climate change challenges. The BeiDou-3 navigation satellite system (BDS-3) provides a full-domain high-precision positioning service for the power system to ensure safe and stable operation. However, BDS-3 power system positioning faces certain challenges, such as complex electromagnetic interference and incomplete error elimination. Herein, a back propagation neural networkimproved least mean square (BP-LMS) adaptive filtering method is proposed for the BDS-3 full-domain and high-precision power system positioning, which utilizes the loss function to update the weight of the BP hidden layer, computes the pseudo compensation range, and eliminates the impact of electromagnetic interference to enhance the accuracy of power system positioning. Simulation results confirm the superior performance of BP-LMS in positioning accuracy and error elimination. Compared with LMS and normalized least mean square (NLMS), the filtering error of the proposed BP-LMS adaptive filtering method is decreased by 57.14% and 51.38%, respectively. On August 1, 2022, a rainstorm process occurred in Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia. An extreme precipitation event occurred in Wuyuan County, Urat Middle Banner and Urat Front Banner, causing rainstorm, flood, strong convective wind and other disasters, thereby resulting in crop damage, livestock death and other losses. Much zinc residue is produced during the traditional processes involved in zinc hydrometallurgy in the leaching stage: its composition is complex and valuable metals are difficult to recover therefrom. if not handled properly, it can lead to a waste of resources and environmental pollution. To solve this problem, zinc leach residue specimens were treated using the carbothermal reduction method (CTR) that is easy to operate and has a high energy utilisation rate. The methods, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SeM), transmission electron microscopy (TeM), and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STeM) were used for analytical characterisation. Based on this, this research investigated a structure-function relationship between microstructures and microwave-absorbing properties of Zno smoke from CTR-treated zinc leach residue. The results demonstrate that microstructures and macro-properties of Zno smoke obtained at different temperatures differ greatly. under conditions including a calcination temperature of 1250°C, holding time of 60 min, and addition of 50% and 10% of powdered coal and Cao separately, the Zno content in the obtained smoke is 99.14%, with regular micron-sized Zno particles therein. for these particles, the minimum reflection loss (RLmin) reached -25.56 dB at a frequency of 15.84 ghz with a matching thickness of 5 mm. Moreover, frequency bandwidth corresponding to RL < -10 dB can reach 2.0 GHz. Zno smoke obtained using this method is found to have excellent microwave-absorbing performance, which provides a new idea for high-value applications of zinc-rich residue. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Previous studies have demonstrated that endoscopic ultrasound-fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) is a reliable tool for diagnosing pancreatic lesions; however, the reported sensitivity and specificity vary greatly across studies. The aim of this study was to pool the existing literature and assess the overall performance of EUS-FNA in the diagnosis of solid pancreatic lesions.Methods: A systematic search of MEDLINE, Cochrane Database for Systematic Reviews, and EMBASE was performed to identify original and review articles published between January 1995 and January 2014 that reported the accuracy of EUS-FNA in the diagnosis of pancreatic masses. Quality of the included studies was assessed using the quality assessment of diagnosis accuracy studies score tool. Meta-DiSc software was used to calculate the pooled sensitivity and specificity, positive and negative likelihood ratios, and to construct the summary receiver operating characteristics curve.Results: Twenty studies involving a total of 2,761 patients were included in the study. The pooled sensitivity and specificity of EUS-FNA in the diagnosis of solid pancreatic lesions were 90.8 % [95 % confidence interval (CI), 89.4-92 %] and 96.5 % (95 % CI, 94.8-97.7 %), respectively. The positive and negative likelihood ratios were 14.8 (95 % CI, 8.0-27.3) and 0.12 (95 % CI, 0.09-0.16), respectively. Background: Cronkhite-Canada Syndrome (CCS) is a rare non-inherited disease characterized by gastrointestinal polyposis and ectodermal abnormalities, the estimated incidence is about one per million. Recognizing and curing the disorder face great challenge.Case Presentation: This report refers to a Chinese 52 year old man with gastrointestinal symptoms and ectodermal abnormalities. Gastrointestinal symptoms occurred without obvious cause, followed by ectodermal abnormalities after two months. In several hospitals, endoscopy examinations found numerous polypoid lesions in various sizes spreading over the stomach and the entire colon and rectum, histopathological examinations showed inflammatory and adenomatous polyp. In our hospital, both endoscopy and the contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) of small intestine showed gastrointestinal polyposis. Gastric antrum and the colon biopsy samples suggested hyperplastic and inflammatory polyp respectively. Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) suggested gastric wall thickening. Fujinnon intelligent color enhancement (FICE) revealed that the size of gastric glands pit varied, and vessels were visible. Confocal endoscope showed increased glandular epithelium layers. Magnifying narrow-band imaging endoscopy (ME-NBI) detected that pit pattern in the mucous of the polyp were regular and type III-IV of microvessels were seen. Biochemical investigations showed anemia, hypoalbuminemia and electrolyte disturbance. IgG, IgA and C3 decreased. Anti-ribosomal phosphoprotein is weak positive. The patient was given nutritional support treatment. Gstrointestinal symptoms and hyperpigmentation improved gradually.Conclusion: The patient was ever hospitalized in four hospitals and was diagnosed with CCS after 8 months of gastrointestinal symptoms. So when encountering the patient with gastrointestinal polyposis and ectodermal abnormalities, try to take CCS into consideration. A portable high resolution soft x-ray and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) spectrometer has been developed for spectroscopic research at the Shanghai Electron Beam Ion Trap (EBIT) laboratory. A unique way of aligning the grazing incidence spectrometer using the zero order of the grating is introduced. This method is realized by extending the range of the movement of the CCD detector to cover the zero order. The alignment can be done in a few minutes, thus leading to a portable spectrometer. The high vacuum needed to be compatible with the EBITs is reached by mounting most of the translation and rotation stages outside the chamber. Only one high vacuum compatible linear guide is mounted inside the chamber. This is to ensure the convenient interchange of the gratings needed to enable wavelength coverage of the whole range of 10 to 500 Å. Spectra recorded with one of our low energy EBITs shows that a resolving power of above 800 can be achieved. In the slitless configuration used in this work, we found the resolving power to be limited by the width of the EBIT plasma. When mounted on the Shanghai EBIT which is a high energy EBIT and has a narrower EBIT plasma width, the estimated resolving power will be around 1400 at 221.15 Å. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Automatic generation control (AGC) is an important domain in the unit scheduling and control of the power system. The pros and cons of its control strategy directly determine its effect. To address the problem of the inadequate effect of the traditional AGC strategy, a dynamic optimization model of an AGC strategy under CPS (DOMAGCSC) for interconnected power systems is proposed in this paper to improve the performance of AGC. The optimal CPS indicator and the minimum ancillary service cost are considered as objective functions. The influence of frequency change in the optimization cycle, the characteristic of minimum duration time of unit adjustment, and other power system constraints are considered in the DOMAGCSC, which is a multi-objective mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem. Then, a multi-objective immunity evolutionary programming (MIEP) algorithm is presented to solve the DOMAGCSC. Numerical tests on two different power systems are implemented to examine the proposed model by MIEP. The simulation results show that the proposed DOMAGCSC could optimize and improve the efficiency of AGC through a coordinative control of hydro and thermal units as well as of fast and slow units between multi-control cycles. In the present research, the authors measured parameters of richness, cover and importance value of ephemeral and ephemeroid plants on south-north and east-west transects in the Gurbantünggüt Desert in early spring, and investigated and analyzed the microhabitats, such as terrain, geomorphology, soil physical-chemical properties and crusts. By comparison, the regional differences in the ephemeral distribution in the desert were revealed. The species of ephemeral plants in the south and center are the richest and those in the west are the poorest in the desert. The cover of ephemeral plants in the mid-south is higher than that in the north, and that in the mid-east is higher than that in the west. The response of ephemeral plants to the spatial variation of the desert habitat forms the population-habitat gradient of ephemeral plants. The characteristics are: (1) In the habitat with higher terrain, coarser textured soil with poorer sorting and correspondingly higher organic matter and lower alkali-saline contents, Carex physoides and Eremopyrum orientale are the dominant ephemeral plants; (2) In the dry habitat with lower terrain, looser textured soil, some organic matter, alkali-saline soil, and developed crust, the ephemeral plants Alyssum linifolium and Erodium oxyrrhynchum are of characteristic of drought and alkali-saline tolerance; (3) In the habitat with lower terrain, some water and more alkali- saline soil, the ephemeral plants Neotorularia torulosa and Hypecoum parviflorum being of alkali-saline tolerance are mainly developed. However, most ephemerals are distributed in a habitat order of higher terrain, some organic, and less alkali-saline soil on the above-mentioned ephemeral population-habitat gradient.
