Abstract

A child with rhabdomyosarcoma of the choledochus is described. Because the clinical and radiological presentation was that of a choledochal cyst, cholecystectomy, resection of the choledochus, and hepaticoduodenostomy was performed. Unfortunately, the pathological examination was misdiagnosed and radio- and chemotherapy were administered only after a second operation 2 months later. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
