In order to study the application scope of different gas drive development methods in the micro and nano scale of pore throat, based on the high temperature and high pressure NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) technology, compared and analyzed the displacement effect of different flooding modes (water drive, natural gas drive and natural bubble gas drive), the pore throat area and the range of throat passage that can be entered by different displacing media, and the contribution rate of different pores to the recovery degree. The experiment shows that the minimum pore throat for water drive is 0.1 μm, and the available pore throat of natural gas drive is two orders of magnitude smaller than that of water drive (0.002–0.01 μm). The pore throat driven by natural gas bubble is 1 orders of magnitude smaller than that of the water drive. The remaining oil is mainly distributed in small pores with uniform distribution. The G-box regulating factors (GRFs) are involved in a wide array of signal transduction pathway and play important roles in plant physiological and developmental processes and stress responses. The GRF proteins have previously been described in several plant species, but not in rapeseed (Brassica napus L.). In this study, we carried out genome-wide analysis of GRFs in B. napus based on the available genome sequence information, and analyzed their expression in different tissues under different hormone treatments and after inoculation with Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. We identified 46 putative BnaGRF genes in rapeseed, unevenly distributed on 18 chromosomes. Like the 14-3-3 proteins in other plant species, the 46 putative BnaGRFs could be classified into two major evolutionary branches: epsilon (+) group and non-epsilon (non-+) group. Evolutionary analysis indicated that the BnaGRF gene family expanded in both groups much before speciation. We discovered an expansion of the 14-3-3 gene family that likely occurred during a recent gene duplication event. Collinearity analysis revealed that most of the BnaGRF genes shared syntenic relationships. Global gene expression profiling of BnaGRFs by RNA-seq analysis showed 41.3% (19/46) response to S. sclerotiorum infection, and this response was probably mediated through jasmonic acid (JA) and salicylic acid (SA) signaling pathways. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is an aggressive malignant tumor and the third leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Transmembrane channel-like protein 8 (TMC8) is reported to play a major role in several aspects of human pathophysiology, such as ion channel permeability, human papillomavirus infection and skin cancer; however, its role in HCC has not been fully elucidated. The aim of the present study was to investigate the expression levels of TMC8 in 146 pairs of liver cancer samples and adjacent non-tumorous samples using immunohistochemistry. Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis was used to confirm the results. The association between TMC8 expression and clinicopathological characteristics, including overall survival, was analyzed. The results indicated that the expression of TMC8 was significantly upregulated in HCC tissues and associated with metastasis and hepatitis B virus infection. According to the analysis of the overall survival using Cox proportional hazard regression model, higher expression of TMC8 was associated with a poorer prognosis and the overexpression of TMC8 was an independent risk factor for HCC. By contrast, HBsAg did not significantly affect the survival of HCC patients. These results suggest that the overexpression of TMC8 in HCC predicts poor prognosis and may be a potential biomarker for this type of cancer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
