The author reflects upon his experience of being in the advertising industry when he was younger, and then working at a Starbucks later on in his life. The author discusses how he worked for the advertising industry for many years, but he ended up losing his job to a younger executive. It is suggested by the author that his experience at Starbucks has been much more rewarding than his experiences in the advertising industry.
