Anti-SRP myopathy has one of the worst muscle prognoses compared with other idiopathic inflammatory myopathies.2 The debilitating muscle weakness is often refractory to treatment,5 with around 50% of patients with anti-SRP remaining afflicted after 2 years of treatment.
