This work presents a high-sensitivity solution sensor based on a phoxonic crystal nanobeam with lateral fins. The fins improve the stability of the suspended nanobeam and its detection performance is unaffected. Acoustic–optic dual-mode cross-detection improves the detection accuracy over the single-mode method. The acoustic and optical energies are concentrated in the defect and slot regions due to the combination of the gradient cavity and slot, which enhances the acoustic–optic interaction with the object to be measured, improving the detection sensitivity. Using the mode bandgaps of photonic and phononic crystals, the sensing characteristics are investigated using the finite element method. The impact of various concentrations on the transmission spectra of optical electromagnetic waves and acoustic elastic waves is investigated. The maximum sensitivity is 2149.5 kHz/ms−1, with Q of over 105 in the acoustic mode and 457.1 nm/RIU in the optical mode. The proposed nanobeam cavity with lateral fins can be used to realize miniaturized multi-mode acoustic–optic sensors. The enrichment of organic matter in high-quality marine shale is generally controlled by factors such as the redox conditions of sedimentary environments, productivity levels, terrigenous input, and ancient productivity. However, the controlling effect of the sedimentary environment on organic matter enrichment in intracratonic sag is still unclear. This study takes samples from the Qiongzhusi formation shale in southern Sichuan Basin as the research object, focusing on trace elements as well as rare earth elements in different stratigraphic intervals. The provenance of the Qiongzhusi formation shale is mainly terrigenous, with sediment sources mainly consisting of sedimentary rocks and granites. The primary sedimentary environment transitions from a continental margin setting, influenced by rift-related tectonic activity and sediment influx from adjacent landmasses, to an open oceanic environment characterized by mid-ocean ridge processes and oceanic plate subduction zones. During sedimentation, saline water was present, with predominant sedimentary environments ranging from shallow water to deep water continental shelves. The shale in the study area is characterized by a higher content of silicates and a lower content of carbonate minerals. Its siliceous sources are mainly influenced by biogenic and terrigenous debris, indicating higher ancient primary productivity and representing a favorable target for shale gas exploration. Background: Rodent is a reservoir of various zoonotic pathogens. Wanzhou section of the Three Gorges reservoir region (TGRR) is a superior habitat for rodents, and the situation of rodent-borne zoonotic pathogens in this region has not been surveyed in recent years. Materials and Methods: Rodents were night trapped with mousecage or mousetrap in urban and surrounding towns' indoor or outdoor areas of the Wanzhou section of the TGRR, and nucleic acid was extracted from their lung or a mixture of liver, spleen, and kidney. Commercialized qPCR kits for pathogenic Leptospira spp., Rickettsia typhi, Anaplasma phagocytophilum, Bartonella spp., Orientia tsutsugamushi, and Francisella tularensis and qRT-PCR kits for hantavirus (HV), and severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV) were used for the detection of associated pathogens in collected rodents. Results: From 2021 to 2023, 604 rodents belonging to 10 species were collected. HV and pathogenic L. spp. were detected positive, with infection rates of 0.66% (4/604) and 1.32% (8/604), respectively. B. spp. were detected positive with an infection rate of 4.73% (19/402) in the rodents trapped in 2022 and 2023. Other five pathogens were all detected negative. Conclusion: This study showed that the Wanzhou section of the TGRR had HV, pathogenic L. spp., and B. spp. co-circulation in rodents. The feature extraction method based on projection learning has been widely studied and achieved good results in practical application. However, most current methods often have the following limitations: (1) No simultaneous attention to global and local structural information between samples; (2) When dealing with complex noise in the data, the feature extraction performance may be affected. In view of this, a global and local structure projection learning (GALSPL) for image feature extraction is proposed in this article. First, we use the nuclear norm to reveal the global structure information from the samples, while we can explore the low-rank structure of the feature spatial data. In addition, we design a local structure constraint to extract the local feature information of the data to ensure the sparsity of the low-rank matrix. Specifically, we construct an additional matrix for data reconstruction, so that the projection matrix can more effectively learn the main features of the data. Objective: The prognostic stratification for oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma (OTSCC) is heavily based on postoperative pathological depth of invasion (pDOI). This study aims to propose a preoperative MR T-staging system based on tumor size for non-pT4 OTSCC. Methods: Retrospectively, 280 patients with biopsy-confirmed, non-metastatic, pT1-3 OTSCC, treated between January 2010 and December 2017, were evaluated. Multiple MR sequences, including axial T2-weighted imaging (WI), unenhanced T1WI, and axial, fat-suppressed coronal, and sagittal contrast-enhanced (CE) T1WI, were utilized to measure radiological depth of invasion (rDOI), tumor thickness, and largest diameter. Intra-class correlation (ICC) and univariate and multivariate analyses were used to evaluate measurement reproducibility, and factors' significance, respectively. Cutoff values were established using an exhaustive method. Results: Intra-observer (ICC = 0.81–0.94) and inter-observer (ICC = 0.79–0.90) reliability were excellent for rDOI measurements, and all measurements were significantly associated with overall survival (OS) (all p <.001). Measuring the rDOI on axial CE-T1WI with cutoffs of 8 mm and 12 mm yielded an optimal MR T-staging system for rT1-3 disease (5-year OS of rT1 vs rT2 vs rT3: 94.0% vs 72.8% vs 57.5%). Using multivariate analyses, the proposed T-staging exhibited increasingly worse OS (hazard ratio of rT2 and rT3 versus rT1, 3.56 [1.35–9.6], p =.011; 4.33 [1.59–11.74], p =.004; respectively), which outperformed pathological T-staging based on nonoverlapping Kaplan–Meier curves and improved C-index (0.682 vs. 0.639, p <.001). Conclusions: rDOI is a critical predictor of OTSCC mortality and facilitates preoperative prognostic stratification, which should be considered in future oral subsite MR T-staging. Clinical relevance statement: Utilizing axial CE-T1WI, an MR T-staging system for non-pT4 OTSCC was developed by employing rDOI measurement with optimal thresholds of 8 mm and 12 mm, which is comparable with pathological staging and merits consideration in future preoperative oral subsite planning. BACKGROUND: Peach brown rot caused by Monilinia fructicola severely affects the quality and yield of peach, resulting in large economic losses worldwide. Methyl benzimidazole carbamate (MBC) fungicides and sterol demethylation inhibitor (DMI) fungicides are among the most applied chemical classes used to control the disease but resistance in the target pathogen has made them risky choices. Timely monitoring of resistance to these fungicides in orchards could prevent control failure in practice. RESULTS: In the current study, we developed methods based on recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) and CRISPR/Cas12a systems to detect MBC and DMI resistance based on the E198A mutation in the β‐tubulin (MfTub2) gene and the presence of the Mona element in the upstream region of the MfCYP51, respectively. For MBC resistance, RPA primers were designed that artificially incorporated PAM sites to facilitate the CRISPR/Cas12a reaction. Subsequently, specific tcrRNAs were designed based on the E198A mutation site. For the detection of the Mona element, we designed RPA primers M‐DMI‐F2/M‐DMI‐R1 that in combination with crRNA1 detected 'Mona' and distinguished resistant from sensitive strains. CONCLUSION: Both methods exhibited high sensitivity and specificity, requiring only a simple isothermal device to obtain results within 1 h at 37 °C. The FQ‐reporter enabled visualization with a handheld UV or white light flashlight. This method was successfully used with purified DNA from lab cultures and crude DNA from symptomatic fruit tissue, highlighting its potential for on‐site detection of resistant strains in orchards. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry. Background: Lung adenocarcinoma is a high-mortality rate cancer. Within this category, Lung mucinous adenocarcinoma (LMAC) is a rare and distinct subtype of lung adenocarcinoma necessitating further investigation. The study was launched to compare the difference of survival features between LMAC and lung non-mucinous adenocarcinoma (LNMAC) and to investigate the significance and demand for developing a new staging system tailored to LMAC. Methods: This retrospective study assessed the suitableness of the current staging system for LMAC. It compared the overall survival (OS) between LMAC and LNMAC from 2004 to 2020 (LNMAC: 160,387; LMAC: 6,341) and instituted a novel classification framework for LMAC based on US population. Verification group consisting of patients from two Chinese medical centers from 2010 to 2018 (n = 392) was set to ascertain the applicability of this novel system. The primary endpoint was OS. To minimize the bias, propensity score match (PSM) was employed. Survival analysis and Log-rank test were executed to explore the survival features of LMAC. Results: The results indicated that the existed staging system was not suitable for LMAC. Patients diagnosed with LMAC exhibited a superior OS compared to those with LNMAC in stage IA2 (P < 0.0001), IA3 (P < 0.0001), IB (P = 0.0062), IIA (P = 0.0090), IIB (P = 0.0005). In contrast, a worse OS in stage IVA (P = 0.0103) was found in LMAC patients. The novel classification system proposed for LMAC proved to be highly applicable and demonstrated substantial efficacy, as confirmed by the verification group. Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a prevalent gastrointestinal cancer characterized by high mortality and an unfavorable prognosis. While combination therapies involving surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy are advancing, targeted therapy for ESCC remains underdeveloped. As a result, the overall five‐year survival rate for ESCC is still below 20%. Herein, ESCC‐specific DNA aptamers and an innovative aptamer‐modified nano‐system is introduced for targeted drug and gene delivery to effectively inhibit ESCC. The EA1 ssDNA aptamer, which binds robustly to ESCC cells with high specificity and affinity, is identified using cell‐based systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (cell‐SELEX). An EA1‐modified nano‐system is developed using a natural egg yolk lipid nanovector (EA1‐EYLNs‐PTX/siEFNA1) that concurrently loads paclitaxel (PTX) and a small interfering RNA of Ephrin A1 (EFNA1). This combination counters ESCC's proliferation, migration, invasion, and lung metastasis. Notably, EFNA1 is overexpressed in ESCC tumors with lung metastasis and has an inverse correlation with ESCC patient prognosis. The EA1‐EYLNs‐PTX/siEFNA1 nano‐system offers effective drug delivery and tumor targeting, resulting in significantly improved therapeutic efficacy against ESCC tumors. Stability is the most pressing challenge hindering the commercialization of perovskite solar cells (PSCs), and previous efforts focused more on enhancing the resistance of PSCs to external stimulus. Here, we found that the indium tin oxide (ITO) will deteriorate the photovoltaic performance of PSCs through positive feedback cycles. Specifically, the perovskite degradation products will cross the electron transport layer to chemically etch the electrode ITO to generate In3+, which will migrate upwards into the perovskite film. Then, the reaction that corrodes ITO consumes the decomposition products of perovskite and shifts the balance of the perovskite decomposition reaction, further promoting the degradation and thus falling into a positive feedback cycle. Moreover, the In3+ in the perovskite film was found to accumulate at the upper surface, which would lead to n‐type doping of perovskite film to form the energy barrier for interface carrier extraction. Subsequently, the chelating molecule ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt (EDTA‐2Na) was introduced onto ITO to firmly chelate the In3+ and prevent it from migrating upward, thus breaking this internal positive feedback cycle and significantly enhancing the efficiency and stability of PSCs. A bipolar polymer cathode material, containing redox-active azo benzene and diamine moieties, was synthesized for sodium-ion batteries. Inverters are important interfaces between micropower sources and consuming loads. However, the varying inductors and capacitors, modeling errors, measurement errors, and external disturbances would lead to degradation of the inverters' performances when conventional linear control is adopted, causing instability problems. To address it, a disturbance-rejection passivity-based nonlinear control strategy is proposed for the inverters of micropower sources. The proposed method innovatively introduces an extended high-gain state observer into the passivity-based controller to achieve online observation and elimination of complex influencing factors such as external disturbances, time-varying parameter uncertainties, and modeling errors, thus ensuring the global stability of the inverter under various disturbances. The design details on the passivity-based controller and the extended high-gain state observer are elaborated. The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control strategy are verified by the experiments performed by a 15 kVA inverter designed in the lab. The results show that the proposed control is able to ensure the inverter's stable operation under the following conditions: constant power load, the filter inductance and capacitance reduce up to 33% and 96%, and the input voltage varies more than 22%. Carbonate-based electrolytes, known for their high solvation energy and high ionic conductivity at room temperature, present significant challenges in ultra-low temperature and fast charging applications. In the February issue of Nature, Fan and colleagues demonstrated that utilizing solvents like fluoroacetonitrile with small molecular size and low solvation energy, facilitates the creation of rapid ion-conduction ligand channels and enables the formation of an inorganic-rich interphase for high-performance ionic batteries, effectively addressing the aforementioned challenges. Precipitation hardening stainless steel (PHSS) possesses high strength, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it extensively employed in aerospace, nuclear power equipment, and petrochemical industries. The precipitates and reversed austenite (RA) generated during heat treatment significantly influence the properties of PHSS. This study investigates the impact of aging temperature (480–620 °C) on PH 13-8Mo stainless steel. As the aging temperature increased from 480 °C to 620 °C, the yield strength (YS) and ultimate tensile strength (UTS) initially increased and then decreased, while the impact energy initially decreased and then increased. At an aging temperature of 510 °C, the strength and hardness reach their maximum values, indicating peak aging conditions. The microstructure after aging treatment is lath martensite, RA and NiAl. With increasing aging temperature, the size of NiAl precipitates increases, accompanied by a rise in RA content. The quantitative analysis assessed the contributions of various strengthening mechanisms (precipitation strengthening, solid solution strengthening, grain refinement strengthening, dislocation strengthening, etc.) to YS. Objective: Systematic evaluation of the safety of del Nido cardioplegia compared to cold blood cardioplegia in adult cardiac surgery. Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, EMbase, The Cochrane Library and ClinicalTrials.gov for randomized clinical trials (published by 14 January 2024) comparing del Nido cardioplegia to cold blood cardioplegia in adult. Our main endpoints were myocardial injury markers and clinical outcomes. We assessed pooled data by use of a random-effects model or a fixed-effects model. Results: A total of 10 studies were identified, incorporating 889 patients who received del Nido cardioplegia and 907 patients who received cold blood cardioplegia. The meta-analysis results showed that compared with the cold blood cardioplegia, the del Nido cardioplegia had less volume of cardioplegia, higher rate of spontaneous rhythm recovery after cross clamp release, lower levels of postoperative cardiac troponin T and creatinine kinase-myocardial band, all of which were statistically significant. However, there was no statistically significant difference in postoperative troponin I and postoperative left ventricular ejection fraction. The clinical outcomes including mechanical ventilation time, intensive care unit stay time, hospital stay time, postoperative stroke, postoperative new-onset atrial fibrillation, postoperative heart failure requiring intra-aortic balloon pump mechanical circulation support, and in-hospital mortality of both are comparable. Conclusion: Existing evidence suggests that del Nido cardioplegia reduced volume of cardioplegia administration and attempts of defibrillation. The superior postoperative results in CTnT and CK-MB may provide a direction for further research on improvement of the composition of cardioplegia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper introduces a conceptual framework for finite element analysis of generalized Maxwell viscoelastic materials based on the initial stress approach. The proposed method facilitates the explicit and convenient determination of mechanical parameters for viscoelastic materials by directly utilizing relaxation test data. Each time step's viscoelastic relaxation stress is treated as the initial stress, and a recursive calculation formula for the material's initial stress is established, relying solely on the relaxation stress and strain from the previous time step. Based on this, the study outlines the computational steps for initial-stress-based finite element analysis of elastic materials. The proposed algorithm's accuracy and efficiency are validated through a classical one-dimensional axial rod example. Results demonstrate that the introduced initial stress-type finite element analysis maintains the stiffness matrix equal to the initial stiffness matrix throughout the calculation process, significantly enhancing the efficiency of finite element analysis for viscoelastic materials while reducing the computational resource required. Objective: To identify major contributors, current research status, and to forecast research trends and future development prospects on acupuncture and moxibustion therapy for herpes zoster (HZ) and postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). Methods: A systematic search was conducted on the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Weipu, WanFang databases, and the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), PubMed, and Scopus databases. The search strategy included relevant terms for HZ, PHN, acupuncture, and moxibustion. The reference type was limited to articles or reviews, with a publication date from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2023. Data analysis was performed using CiteSpace software, focusing on author, institution, source, and keyword distributions, and temporal trends. Results: A total of 1612 publications were identified from both Chinese and English databases. The analysis revealed a rising trend in publication numbers in the English database, with a significant increase observed in 2020. In the Chinese database, publication activity exhibited two peaks in 2019 and 2023. Guohua Lin and Jingchun Zeng were the most prolific authors in the Chinese and English databases, respectively. The Chengdu University of TCM and Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University were the most active institutions. The keyword analysis revealed "herpes zoster" as the most frequent keyword in the Chinese database, while "postherpetic neuralgia," "acupuncture," and "management" were prominent in the English database. The study also identified several therapeutic approaches, including fire needle therapy and electroacupuncture, which have shown efficacy in treating HZ and PHN. Animal studies provided insights into the mechanisms of these therapies, suggesting potential modulation of neuroinflammatory markers and intracellular signaling pathways. Conclusion: The bibliometric analysis underscores the growing interest in acupuncture and moxibustion therapy for HZ and PHN. It highlights the contributions of key authors and institutions while pinpointing potential areas for future research. The study advocates for the necessity of large‐scale, multi‐center clinical trials and further basic mechanical research to optimize these therapies. Background: This study aimed to explore the incidence of occult lymph node metastasis (OLM) in clinical T1 − 2N0M0 (cT1 − 2N0M0) small cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients and develop machine learning prediction models using preoperative intratumoral and peritumoral contrast-enhanced CT-based radiomic data. Methods: By conducting a retrospective analysis involving 242 eligible patients from 4 centeres, we determined the incidence of OLM in cT1 − 2N0M0 SCLC patients. For each lesion, two ROIs were defined using the gross tumour volume (GTV) and peritumoral volume 15 mm around the tumour (PTV). By extracting a comprehensive set of 1595 enhanced CT-based radiomic features individually from the GTV and PTV, five models were constucted and we rigorously evaluated the model performance using various metrics, including the area under the curve (AUC), accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, calibration curve, and decision curve analysis (DCA). For enhanced clinical applicability, we formulated a nomogram that integrates clinical parameters and the rad_score (GTV and PTV). Results: The initial investigation revealed a 33.9% OLM positivity rate in cT1 − 2N0M0 SCLC patients. Our combined model, which incorporates three radiomic features from the GTV and PTV, along with two clinical parameters (smoking status and shape), exhibited robust predictive capabilities. With a peak AUC value of 0.772 in the external validation cohort, the model outperformed the alternative models. The nomogram significantly enhanced diagnostic precision for radiologists and added substantial value to the clinical decision-making process for cT1 − 2N0M0 SCLC patients. Conclusions: The incidence of OLM in SCLC patients surpassed that in non-small cell lung cancer patients. The combined model demonstrated a notable generalization effect, effectively distinguishing between positive and negative OLMs in a noninvasive manner, thereby guiding individualized clinical decisions for patients with cT1 − 2N0M0 SCLC. The marine shale within the Sichuan Basin constitutes China's significant shale gas production, featuring old formation age, high degree of thermal evolution, multiple tectonic movements, and complex structural conditions. However, there are significant differences in the shale gas preservation conditions and reservoir quality in different areas, limiting future large-scale exploration and development. Pore structure significantly influences shale reservoir quality, gas content, and exploration of shale gas occurrence, migration, and enrichment mechanisms. The influence of structural-dominated preservation conditions on shale pore structures is essential to comprehend for effective shale gas exploitation. This study employs field-emission scanning electron microscopy in conjunction with other techniques (low-temperature N2 adsorption, low-temperature CO2 adsorption, and nuclear magnetic resonance) for detailed analyses of the pore structure across varied structural zones, revealing the influence of structural attributes, fault systems, depth of burial, and formation pressure on pore architecture, and examining the relationship between pore structure and shale gas preservation conditions. The results show that stable structural condition is conducive to the development and preservation of shale pores. Structural compression causes inorganic and organic pores to become narrow and elongated due to shrinkage, with a significant increase in microfractures. The porosity of shale with stable structural conditions exhibits markedly increased porosity compared to samples under structural compressions. Under conditions of similar TOC and mineral composition, the pore size distribution (PSD), pore volume (PV), and specific surface area (SSA) of shale after structural compression are significantly lower than those of samples with stable structural conditions. As the burial depth increases, the shale porosity shows a decreasing trend, but the decrease is limited. Burial depth significantly impacts the SSA and PV of high-TOC samples (3%-6%). Reflection in the image not only significantly reduces the image quality, but also seriously affects the subsequent computer vision tasks. So proposed a single image reflection removal cascaded algorithm using non local correlation and contrast constraint. This algorithm utilizes a dual-branch approach for LSTM-based information propagation across cascades. It employs reflection and background features to complement each other and iteratively refine prediction accuracy, ensuring mutual enhancement of the two branches' prediction results. To facilitate training for multiple cascade steps, a positivenegative contrastive regularization loss is introduced. This loss treats background images and original images' features as positive and negative samples, respectively. This ensures that the target image is brought closer to the background image while moving away from the original image in the representation space, narrowing the prediction range and effectively alleviating the ill-posed problem. Additionally, an efficient, low-computational-cost non-local correlation prediction module is proposed, capable of capturing contextual information for all pixels along cross paths. Through further cascade operations, each pixel captures long-distance dependencies across the entire image, enabling the use of surrounding point information to predict background information obscured by strong reflections. A silicone rubber foam is prepared by introducing polydiborosiloxane (PDBS) into silicone rubber, and using expandable microspheres as blowing agents. The influences of the dual network structure with dynamic cross‐linking network on the silicone rubber foam is characterized by the cell size, mechanical properties and impact resistance. The cell size increases from 77 to 93 μm due to the introduction of a dynamic cross‐linking network which reduces foaming resistance. The elongation at break elevates from 277% to 574%, and the yield strength gradually decreases. The dynamic cross‐linking network also enhances the internal damping characteristic and energy absorption capacity of the foam. The impact resistance of silicone rubber foam is improved because of the synergistic effect of the dual network structure and the bubble structure. Since OpenAI opened access to ChatGPT, large language models (LLMs) become an increasingly popular topic attracting researchers' attention from abundant domains. However, public researchers meet some problems when developing LLMs given that most of the LLMs are produced by industries and the training details are typically unrevealed. Since datasets are an important setup of LLMs, this paper does a holistic survey on the training datasets used in both the pre-train and fine-tune processes. The paper first summarizes 16 pre-train datasets and 16 fine-tune datasets used in the state-of-the-art LLMs. Secondly, based on the properties of the pre-train and fine-tune processes, it comments on pre-train datasets from quality, quantity, and relation with models, and comments on fine-tune datasets from quality, quantity, and concerns. This study then critically figures out the problems and research trends that exist in current LLM datasets. The study helps public researchers train and investigate LLMs by visual cases and provides useful comments to the research community regarding data development. To the best of our knowledge, this paper is the first to summarize and discuss datasets used in both autoregressive and chat LLMs. The survey offers insights and suggestions to researchers and LLM developers as they build their models, and contributes to the LLM study by pointing out the existing problems of LLM studies from the perspective of data. In recent years, jamming strategies for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) pertaining to target detection and identification, such as the creation of false targets, electromagnetic (EM) deception, and signal spoofing, have been increasingly emphasized. Distinct from traditional SAR jamming approaches, the introduction of an innovative artificial material cloak in SAR target jamming presents augmented capabilities. These methods demonstrate a proficient redirection of incident EM waves in specific or arbitrary directions, effectively masking the vital information linked to critical targets. This study introduces a broadband SAR target jamming system employing an information metasurface that incorporates intelligent information processing algorithms in conjunction with a space-time-coding digital metasurface, endowing it with the capacity to adeptly modulate incident EM waves. This integration facilitates a versatile approach to jamming, enabling the deployment of multi-mode protective measures against critical targets. The conducted simulation and experiment results validate the system's ability to adjustably produce EM deception and generate multiple false targets independently of the SAR system. The outcomes of this research significantly advance the practicality of SAR protection strategies, pushing the boundaries toward more dynamic, broadband, and controllable scenarios, thereby substantially improving the concealment of critical targets in highly sensitive conflict areas. For linear viscoelastic materials, this paper proposes a finite element analysis method based on an integral constitutive relationship that can simultaneously consider the relaxation behavior of the elastic modulus and the creep Poisson's ratio. Firstly, the generalized Maxwell model is employed to depict the relaxation characteristics of the elastic modulus, while the generalized Kelvin model is used to represent the creep Poisson's ratio. Subsequently, the element relaxation stiffness matrix is established, thereby forming a convolutional finite element equation. Furthermore, the recursive calculation of the convolutional integral is derived, and the calculation steps of the finite element for viscoelasticity considering the time-dependent nature of both the elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio are established. Finally, the accuracy of the proposed algorithm is verified through two numerical examples with linear viscoelastic material. The results indicate that the proposed variable stiffness method for the finite element analysis of linear viscoelastic materials can simultaneously consider the changes in the elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio over time, thereby establishing a new path and idea for the more accurate simulation of viscoelastic materials' mechanical properties. Compared with the initial strain method for linear viscoelastic materials, the variable stiffness method proposed in this paper effectively avoids the assumption of constant stress during the micro time interval, thus significantly enhancing the finite element calculation accuracy of linear viscoelastic materials. Phase transition during annealing in the two‐step sequential deposition has drawn intensive attention as its significance in fabricating superior perovskite films. However, previous works have not paid enough attention to the importance of the purified phase transition path in the crystallization process. Herein, different from the mixed paths in the conventional cognition, purified phase transition path for α‐FAPbI3 crystallization is achieved by introducing dimethylurea (DMU) into lead iodide (PbI2) precursor solution. The multifunctional molecule is found to design a penetrable porous PbI2 film and fundamentally regulate the perovskite crystallization by forming single phase transition path via the complete δ‐phase during annealing of perovskite. The role of DMU in purified transition path for α‐FAPbI3 crystallization is unraveled with in situ photoluminescence and grazing incidence wide‐angle x‐ray scattering (GIWAXS) investigation. The crystal quality of perovskite films is significantly improved, resulting in single crystal‐like film. The best‐performing perovskite solar cells (PSCs) deliver a power conversion efficiency of 24.75%, resulting from the higher FF of 83.25% and an improved long‐term stability up to 3600 h. Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cell (UCMSC) transplantation has been deeply explored for premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) disease. However, the associated mechanism remains to be researched. To explore whether and how the microRNA 21 (miR-21) functions in POI mice with UCMSCs transplantation, the autoimmune-induced POI mice model was built up, transplanted with or without UCMSCs transfect with the LV-hsa-miR-21-5p/LV-hsa-miR-21-5p-inhibition, with the transfection efficiency analyzed by QRT-PCR. Mice hormone secretion and the anti-Zona pellucida antibody (AZPAb) levels were analyzed, the ovarian morphological changes and folliculogenesis were observed, and the ovarian apoptosis cells were detected to evaluate ovarian function. The expression and localization of the PTEN/Akt/FOXO3a signal pathway-related cytokines were analyzed in mice ovaries. Additionally, the spleen levels of CD8 + CD28-T cells were tested and qualified with its significant secretory factor, interleukin 10 (IL-10). We found that with the LV-hsa-miR-21-5p-inhibition-UCMSCs transplantation, the mice ovarian function can be hardly recovered than mice with LV-NC-UCMSCs transplantation, and the PTEN/Akt/FOXO3a signal pathway was activated. The expression levels of the CD8 + CD28-T cells were decreased, with the decreased levels of the IL-10 expression. In contrast, in mice with the LV-hsa-miR-21-5p-UCMSCs transplantation, the injured ovarian function can be reversed, and the PTEN/AKT/FOXO3a signal pathway was detected activated, with the increased levels of the CD8 + CD28-T cells, and the increased serum levels of IL-10. In conclusion, miR-21 improves the ovarian function recovery of POI mice with UCMSCs transplantation, and the mechanisms may be through suppressing the PTEN/AKT/FOXO3a signal pathway and up-regulating the circulating of the CD8 + CD28-T cells. Surface topography is an important factor in evaluating surface integrity and surface roughness of the processed material to ensure the processing quality and shorten the processing cycle. In this paper, a prediction model of milling surface quality, considering the influence of the machine tool factors, the milling tool factors, and the workpiece material factors, is proposed. Based on the dynamic path trajectory, the model takes first the imbalance of the machine tool spindle as a critical machine factor affecting the tool-workpiece displacement and the surface topography. Then, the tool parameters are predicted using a backpropagation neural network (BPNN); the tool wear behaviors are taken into account. To expand the different workpiece application, material properties, such as the elastoplasticity, are introduced to improve the prediction accuracy. Thus, a series of experiments with various machine tools, milling tools, materials, and processing parameters validate the surface quality prediction model based on machine-tool-material interactions. Finally, the results demonstrate that the simulated outcomes accord well with the experiment; the error rate of the best result is only 3.60%, and the average error rate is 9.6%. In order to study the ultimate span of a concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) arch bridge, taking the structural strength, stiffness, and stability as the limiting conditions, the finite element analysis method is adopted to carry out research on the influence law of a single parameter of the pipe diameter, wall thickness, and cross-section height on the ultimate span of the arch axial shape. The result is used as a sample point to determine the ultimate span of the CFST arch bridge under multifactor coupling based on the response surface method. The finite element method is used to check the strength, stiffness, stability, number of segments and maximum lifting weight, steel content rate, and steel pipe concrete constraint effect coefficient of the CFST arch bridge under the ultimate span diameter. The results show that, when analyzed using a single parameter, the ultimate span diameter of the CFST arch bridge increases with the increase in the steel pipe diameter and the cross-section height, and then decreases. Moreover, it increases with the increase in the wall thickness of the steel pipe, and the CFST arch bridge reaches the ultimate span with the increase in the steel pipe wall thickness. When the pipe diameter is 1.38 m, the CFST arch bridge reaches the ultimate span; according to a multi-parameter coupling analysis, when the pipe diameter is 1.49 m, wall thickness is 37 mm, and cross-section height is 17 m, the CFST arch bridge reaches the ultimate span of 821 m, which meets all of the limiting conditions, and, at this point, the arch axial coefficient is 1.2. The results of the finite element calculation show that the structural strength, prior to the stiffness, stability, and other limitations, just reaches the critical value of the limiting conditions. Cf/SiC composite is a typical heterogeneous brittle composite material, its precision machining has always been affected by the complicated removal mechanism. This paper conducted a single diamond grit scratching experiment on the unidirectional Cf/SiC composite to investigate the material's mechanical response under different loads and scratching depths. The scratching force and acoustic emission signals were measured to reveal the removal characteristics. The scratching removal behavior of SiC matrix and carbon fibers in the two-phase component of unidirectional Cf/SiC composites was analyzed based on the fracture size and fiber fracture morphology. The results show that the parallel scratching process could produce a better strength resistance with mild rupture features of fiber extrusion fracture and shear removal. While the perpendicular scratching process is generally resulting in crack propagation along the fiber direction with interface failure and bending fracture failure along the moving direction. Circadian rhythm is an internal timing system and harmonizes a variety of cellular, behavioral, and physiological processes to daily environment. Circadian disturbance caused by altered life style or disrupted sleep patterns inevitably contributes to various disorders. As the rapidly increased cancer occurrences and subsequent tremendous financial burdens, more researches focus on reducing the morbidity rather than treating it. Recently, many epidemiologic studies demonstrated that circadian disturbance was tightly related to the occurrence and development of cancers. For urinary system, numerous clinical researches observed the incidence and progress of prostate cancer were influenced by nightshift work, sleep duration, chronotypes, light exposure, and meal timing, this was also proved by many genetic and fundamental findings. Although the epidemiological studies regarding the relationship between circadian disturbance and kidney/bladder cancers were relative limited, some basic researches still claimed circadian disruption was closely correlated to these two cancers. The role of circadian chemotherapy on cancers of prostate, kidney, and bladder were also explored, however, it has not been regularly recommended considering the limited evidence and poor standard protocols. Finally, the researches for the impacts of circadian disturbance on cancers of adrenal gland, penis, testis were not found at present. In general, a better understanding the relationship between circadian disturbance and urological cancers might help to provide more scientific work schedules and rational lifestyles which finally saving health resource by reducing urological tumorigenesis, however, the underlying mechanisms are complex which need further exploration. Diabetes is a chronic medical condition that may induce complications such as poor wound healing. Stem cell therapies have shown promise in treating diabetic wounds with pre‐clinical and clinical studies. However, little bibliometric analysis has been carried out on stem cells in the treatment of diabetic wounds. In this study, we retrieved relevant papers published from January 1, 2003, to December 31, 2023, from Chinese and English databases. CiteSpace software was used to analyze the authors, institutions, and keywords by standard bibliometric indicators. Our analysis findings indicated that publications on stem cells in the treatment of diabetic wounds kept increasing. The most prolific author was Qian Cai (n = 7) and Mohammad Bayat (n = 16) in Chinese and English databases, respectively. Institutions distribution analysis showed that Chinese institutions conducted most publications, and the most prolific institution was the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital (n = 9) and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (n = 17) in Chinese and English databases, respectively. The highest centrality keyword in Chinese and English databases was "wound healing" (0.54) and "in vitro" (0.13), respectively. There were 8 and 11 efficient and convincing keyword clusters produced by a log‐likelihood ratio in the Chinese and English databases, respectively. The strongest burst keyword was "exosome" (strength 3.57) and "endothelial progenitor cells" (strength 7.87) in the Chinese and English databases, respectively. Water-soluble components have significant contribution to the oxidative potential (OP) of atmospheric fine particles, while our understanding of their relationship is still limited. In this study, the water-soluble OP levels in wintertime PM2.5 in the south and north of Beijing, representing the difference in sources, were measured with dithiothreitol (DTT) assay. The volume normalized DTT (DTTv) in the north (3.5 ± 1.2 nmol min-1 m-3) was comparable to that in the south (3.9 ± 0.9 nmol min-1 m-3), while the mass normalized DTT (DTTm) in the north (65.3 ± 27.6 pmol min-1 μg-3) was almost twice that in the south (36.1 ± 14.5 pmol min-1 μg-3). In both the south and north of Beijing, DTTv was better correlated with soluble elements instead of total elements. In the north, soluble elements (mainly Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, As, Cd and Pb) and water-soluble organic compounds, especially light-absorbing compounds (also known as brown carbon), had positive correlations with DTTv. However, in the south, the DTTv was mainly related to soluble As, Fe and Pb. The sources of DTTv were further resolved using the positive matrix factorization (PMF) model. Traffic-related emissions (39.1 %) and biomass burning (25.2 %) were the main sources of DTTv in the south, and traffic-related emissions (> 50 %) contributed the most of DTTv in the north. Our results indicate that vehicle emission was the important contributor to OP in Beijing ambient PM2.5 and suggest that more study is needed to understand the intrinsic relationship between OP and light absorbing organic compounds. This paper studies the pyrolysis mechanisms of Nomex insulation paper in nitrogen and air atmospheres. The Nomex insulation paper is composed of 93% poly (m-phenylene isophthalamide) (PMIA) fibers and 7% inorganic substances based on elemental analysis. Using the thermogravimetry, it is found that the pyrolysis behaviors in nitrogen and air are similar below 770 K, with large discrepancies identified in the temperature range of 770–1073 K. The peak mass loss rate in air is 9 times higher than that in nitrogen. The kinetic analysis shows that the average activation energy (E ) in air is lower than that in nitrogen by 32% when the temperature is higher than 770 K, indicating a lower thermal stability. The PMIA fibers are found decomposing more seriously in air using SEM. Below 770 K, the functional groups of two atmospheres are mainly produced by the breakage of amide bonds and formation of aromatic nitrile. Unlike nitrogen, the organic substances in the solid residue are mostly oxidized at 1073 K in air. Consequently, the maximum productions of H2O, CO2 and CO in air are nearly 5 times higher than those of nitrogen, and the HCN generated during pyrolysis is further oxidized to NOx in air. Combining with the results of Py-GC/MS, it is inferred that the small molecules generated by the degradation of PMIA molecular chains, especially the benzene rings, will experience oxidization reactions in air atmosphere, with large amounts of H2O, CO2, CO and NOx produced. In this study, the lattice Boltzmann method is utilized to simulate flow boiling within a microchannel featuring a micro-pillar surface. This investigation aims to explore the impacts of micro-pillar shape and quantity on the flow boiling characteristics across various superheats and Reynolds numbers (Re). A systematic examination is conducted on three types of micro-pillars, five quantities of micro-pillars, four Re values, and 18 superheat levels. The mechanisms contributing to enhanced heat transfer in flow boiling are elucidated through a comprehensive analysis of bubble dynamics, temperature and velocity fields, local and transient heat fluxes, and boiling curves. Moreover, the critical heat fluxes (CHF) of all surfaces are evaluated to identify the superior micro-pillar configurations. The findings revealed that microchannels with micro-pillar surfaces induce more vortices compared to those with smooth surfaces, attributable to the combined effects of bubble dynamics and micro-pillars. Bubble patterns and boiling curves demonstrated the significant impact of micro-pillar geometrical shapes on the boiling regime and heat transfer performance. As flow boiling progressed, an increase in micro-pillar quantity and Re can mitigate the fluctuation and decline rate in transient heat flux, respectively. Among the three types of micro-pillar surfaces, the circular shape exhibited the highest flow boiling performance, followed by the triangular and rectangular shapes. For all surfaces, the CHF increased with Re, and each micro-pillar type displayed an optimal quantity for achieving maximum CHF, with the highest increase reaching 45.2%. Background: Respiratory muscle training is a continuous and standardized training of respiratory muscles, but the evidence of the effects on early stroke patients is not clear. This meta-analysis aimed to investigate the effects of respiratory muscle training on respiratory function and functional capacity in patients with early stroke. Methods: PubMed, Embase, PEDro, ScienceDirect, AMED, CINAHL, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases were searched from inception to December 8, 2023 for articles about studies that 1) stroke patients with age ≥ 18 years old. Early stroke < 3 months at the time of diagnosis, 2) respiratory muscle training, including inspiratory and expiratory muscle training, 3) the following measurements are the outcomes: respiratory muscle strength, respiratory muscle endurance, pulmonary function testing, dyspnea fatigue score, and functional capacity, 4) randomized controlled trials. Studies that met the inclusion criteria were extracted data and appraised the methodological quality and risk of bias using the Physiotherapy Evidence Database scale and the Cochrane Risk of Bias tool by two independent reviewers. RevMan 5.4 with a random effect model was used for data synthesis and analysis. Mean differences (MD) or standard mean differences (SMD), and 95% confidence interval were calculated (95%CI). Results: Nine studies met inclusion criteria, recruiting 526 participants (mean age 61.6 years). Respiratory muscle training produced a statistically significant effect on improving maximal inspiratory pressure (MD = 10.93, 95%CI: 8.51–13.36), maximal expiratory pressure (MD = 9.01, 95%CI: 5.34–12.69), forced vital capacity (MD = 0.82, 95%CI: 0.54–1.10), peak expiratory flow (MD = 1.28, 95%CI: 0.94–1.63), forced expiratory volume in 1 s (MD = 1.36, 95%CI: 1.13–1.59), functional capacity (SMD = 0.51, 95%CI: 0.05–0.98) in patients with early stroke. Background: Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) has high morbidity and mortality. Despite substantial advances in treatment, the prognosis of patients with LUAD remains unfavorable. The ceRNA axis has been reported to play an important role in the pathogenesis of LUAD. In addition, cuproptosis is considered an important factor in tumorigenesis. The expression of CBX2 has been associated with the development of multiple tumors, including LUAD. However, the precise molecular mechanisms through which the cuproptosis-related ceRNA network regulates CBX2 remain unclear. Methods: The DEGs between tumor and normal samples of LUAD were identified in TCGA database. The "ConsensusClusterPlus" R package was used to perform consensus clustering based on the mRNA expression matrix and cuproptosis-related gene expression profile. Then, LASSO-COX regression analysis was performed to identify potential prognostic biomarkers associated with cuproptosis, and the ceRNA network was constructed. Finally, the mechanisms of ceRNA in LUAD was studied by cell experiments. Results: In this study, the AC144450.1/miR-424-5p axis was found to promote the progression of LUAD by acting on CBX2. The expression of AC144450.1 and miR-424-5p can be altered to regulate CBX2 and is correlated with cell proliferation and cell cycle of LUAD. Mechanistically, AC144450.1 affects the expression of CBX2 by acting as the ceRNA of miR-424-5p. In addition, a cuproptosis-related model were constructed in this study to predict the prognosis of LUAD. Redox‐active polymers (RAPs) are promising organic electrode materials for affordable and sustainable batteries due to their flexible chemical structures and negligible solubility in the electrolyte. Developing high‐dimensional RAPs with porous structures and crosslinkers can further improve their stability and redox capability by reducing the solubility and enhancing reaction kinetics. This work reports two three‐dimensional (3D) RAPs as stable organic cathodes in Na‐ion batteries (NIBs) and K‐ion batteries (KIBs). Carbonyl functional groups are incorporated into the repeating units of the RAPs by the polycondensation of Tetrakis(4‐aminophenyl)methane and two different dianhydrides. The RAPs with interconnected 3D extended conjugation structures undergo multi‐electron redox reactions and exhibit high performance in both NIBs and KIBs in terms of long cycle life (up to 8000 cycles) and fast charging capability (up to 2 A g−1). The etiology of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is complex and variable, and there is no exact cause or good treatment method. Most of the methods of hormones are used to temporarily meet the needs of patients. Experimental evidence has shown that trehalose has, anti-apoptotic, anti-oxidative, glucose-lowering, and insulin resistance effects. However, whether trehalose has a therapeutic effect on PCOS is unknown. It has been reported that the ovarian renin-angiotensin system (OVRAS) is involved in the development of PCOS, but it has not been fully elucidated. This study aims to explore the effect of trehalose on PCOS and elucidate the related OVRAS mechanism. We first observed that body weight, estrous cycle, ovarian follicles at all levels, glucose tolerance, serum hormones, and insulin resistance were improved by trehalose treatment in the PCOS mouse model. Moreover, trehalose treatment also ameliorated ovarian oxidative stress and apoptosis in PCOS mice, as determined by TUNNEL apoptosis staining, total SOD in ovarian homogenate, and WB assay. OVRAS mainly involves two classic pathways, namely the ACE/AngII/AT1R/AT2R, and ACE2 / Ang1-7/ MASR, Which play different functions. In PCOS mouse ovaries, we found that ACE/AngII/AT1R was up-regulated and ACE2/Ang1-7/MASR and AT2R were down-regulated by PCR and WB experiments, However, trehalose treatment changed its direction. In addition, we also found that trehalose ameliorated DHEA-induced oxidative stress and apoptosis in KGN by PCR and WB experiments, mainly by down-regulating ACE/AngII/AT1R. Our study shows that trehalose improves symptoms of PCOS mainly by down-regulating ACE/AngII/AT1R, revealing a potential therapeutic target for PCOS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a malignant tumor originating in the nasopharyngeal epithelium with a high incidence in southern China and parts of Southeast Asia. The current treatment methods are mainly radiotherapy and chemotherapy. However, they often have side effects and are not suitable for long‐term exposure. Natural products have received more and more attention in cancer prevention and treatment because of their its high efficiency, low toxic side effects, and low toxicity. Natural products can serve as a viable alternative, and this study aimed to review the efficacy and mechanisms of natural products in the treatment of NPC by examining previous literature. Most natural products act by inhibiting cell proliferation, metastasis, inducing cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. Objective: To study the in vitro and in vivo antitumor effects of the polysaccharide of Alocasia cucullata (PAC) and the underlying mechanism. Methods: B16F10 and 4T1 cells were cultured with PAC of 40 µg/mL, and PAC was withdrawn after 40 days of administration. The cell viability was detected by cell counting kit-8. The expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 proteins were detected by Western blot and the expressions of ERK1/2 mRNA were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). A mouse melanoma model was established to study the effect of PAC during long-time administration. Mice were divided into 3 treatment groups: control group treated with saline water, positive control group (LNT group) treated with lentinan at 100 mg/(kg·d), and PAC group treated with PAC at 120 mg/(kg·d). The pathological changes of tumor tissues were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The apoptosis of tumor tissues was detected by TUNEL staining. Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 protein expressions were detected by immunohistochemistry, and the expressions of ERK1/2, JNK1 and p38 mRNA were detected by qRT-PCR. Results: In vitro, no strong inhibitory effects of PAC were found in various tumor cells after 48 or 72 h of administration. Interestingly however, after 40 days of cultivation under PAC, an inhibitory effect on B16F10 cells was found. Correspondingly, the long-time administration of PAC led to downregulation of Bcl-2 protein (P<0.05), up-regulation of Caspase-3 protein (P<0.05) and ERK1 mRNA (P<0.05) in B16F10 cells. The above results were verified by in vivo experiments. In addition, viability of B16F10 cells under long-time administration culture in vitro decreased after drug withdrawal, and similar results were also observed in 4T1 cells. Conclusions: Long-time administration of PAC can significantly inhibit viability and promote apoptosis of tumor cells, and had obvious antitumor effect in tumor-bearing mice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is a high-resolution imaging radar. With the deteriorating electromagnetic environment, SAR systems are susceptible to various forms of electromagnetic interference, including deception jamming. This jamming notably impacts SAR signal processing and subsequently worsens the quality of acquired images. Chaotic frequency modulation (CFM) signals could effectively counteract deception jamming. Nevertheless, due to the inadequate band-limited performance of CFM signals, higher oversampling factors are needed for achieving optimal low sidelobe levels, leading to increased system costs and excessively high data rates. Additionally, not all chaotic sentences meet the CFM signal requirements. In response, this paper proposes a novel signal modulation method called chaotic-nonlinear frequency modulation (C-NLFM) that enhances band-limited performance. The optimum parameters for C-NLFM signals are selected using the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. In this way, C-NLFM signals attain ideal low sidelobe levels even when faced with reduced oversampling factors. Meanwhile, this chaotic coding mode retains its capability to effectively suppress deception jamming. Moreover, C-NLFM signals demonstrate versatility in adapting to various chaotic sequences, thereby enhancing their flexibility to modify the signals as required. Through comprehensive simulations, data analysis, and a semi-physical experiment, the effectiveness and superiority of this proposed method have been confirmed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
