Background: Osteoporosis is a major global health issue, weakening bones and increasing fracture risk. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) is the standard for measuring bone mineral density (BMD) and diagnosing osteoporosis, but its costliness and complexity impede widespread screening adoption. Predictive modeling using genetic and clinical data offers a cost-effective alternative for assessing osteoporosis and fracture risk. This study aims to develop BMD prediction models using data from the UK Biobank (UKBB) and test their performance across different ethnic and geographical populations. Methods and findings: We developed BMD prediction models for the femoral neck (FNK) and lumbar spine (SPN) using both genetic variants and clinical factors (such as sex, age, height, and weight), within 17,964 British white individuals from UKBB. Models based on regression with least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO), selected based on the coefficient of determination (R2) from a model selection subset of 5,973 individuals from British white population. These models were tested on 5 UKBB test sets and 12 independent cohorts of diverse ancestries, totaling over 15,000 individuals. Furthermore, we assessed the correlation of predicted BMDs with fragility fractures risk in 10 years in a case-control set of 287,183 European white participants without DXA-BMDs in the UKBB. With single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) inclusion thresholds at 5×10−6 and 5×10−7, the prediction models for FNK-BMD and SPN-BMD achieved the highest R2 of 27.70% with a 95% confidence interval (CI) of [27.56%, 27.84%] and 48.28% (95% CI [48.23%, 48.34%]), respectively. Adding genetic factors improved predictions slightly, explaining an additional 2.3% variation for FNK-BMD and 3% for SPN-BMD over clinical factors alone. Survival analysis revealed that the predicted FNK-BMD and SPN-BMD were significantly associated with fragility fracture risk in the European white population (P < 0.001). The hazard ratios (HRs) of the predicted FNK-BMD and SPN-BMD were 0.83 (95% CI [0.79, 0.88], corresponding to a 1.44% difference in 10-year absolute risk) and 0.72 (95% CI [0.68, 0.76], corresponding to a 1.64% difference in 10-year absolute risk), respectively, indicating that for every increase of one standard deviation in BMD, the fracture risk will decrease by 17% and 28%, respectively. However, the model's performance declined in other ethnic groups and independent cohorts. The limitations of this study include differences in clinical factors distribution and the use of only SNPs as genetic factors. Conclusions: In this study, we observed that combining genetic and clinical factors improves BMD prediction compared to clinical factors alone. Adjusting inclusion thresholds for genetic variants (e.g., 5×10−6 or 5×10−7) rather than solely considering genome-wide association study (GWAS)-significant variants can enhance the model's explanatory power. Detection of pavement diseases is crucial for road maintenance. Traditional methods are costly, time-consuming, and less accurate. This paper introduces an enhanced pavement disease recognition algorithm, MS-YOLOv8, which modifies the YOLOv8 model by incorporating three novel mechanisms to improve detection accuracy and adaptability to varied pavement conditions. The Deformable Large Kernel Attention (DLKA) mechanism adjusts convolution kernels dynamically, adapting to multi-scale targets. The Large Separable Kernel Attention (LSKA) enhances the SPPF feature extractor, boosting multi-scale feature extraction capabilities. Additionally, Multi-Scale Dilated Attention in the network's neck performs Spatially Weighted Dilated Convolution (SWDA) across different dilatation rates, enhancing background distinction and detection precision. Experimental results show that MS-YOLOv8 increases background classification accuracy by 6%, overall precision by 1.9%, and mAP by 1.4%, with specific disease detection mAP up by 2.9%. Background: Asthma severely interferes with people's lives through coughing, wheezing and inflammation of the lungs. Herbacetin is a class of natural compounds that inhibit the development of inflammation. However, whether Herbacetin inhibits asthma has not been definitively studied. Methods: Lipopolysaccharides (LPS)-induced lung epithelial (BASE-2B) cells injury model was established, and then the relief of damaged BASE-2B cells with different concentrations of Herbacetin was examined. The cell counting kit (CCK8) was used to detect the effect of Herbacetin on the proliferation ability in ovalbumin (OVA)-induced asthma mice model, and Western Blot and flow cytometry were used to detect the effect of Herbacetin on the apoptosis in OVA-induced asthma mice model. Additionally, pulmonary pathology was detected by HE and Masson staining, and serum inflammatory factors were detected by alveolar lavage fluid. Results: Herbacetin reduces BESA-2B cells induced by LPS level of inflammation, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, inhibits cell apoptosis, promotes cell proliferation, OVA-induced mice lung histopathology test HE staining, serum inflammatory factors show the same results. Western Blot shows that Herbacetin regulates the expression of Caspase-3, Bax, and Bcl-2. SGK1 overexpression increased the rate of apoptosis, and Herbacetin reversed this phenomenon. By silencing the expression of SGK1, it was found that Herbacetin was an inhibitor of SGK1, which could inhibit the NF-κB/p-P65 pathway in asthmatic airway inflammation. Conclusion: Herbacetin reduces pro-inflammatory cytokine levels by inhibiting the SGK1/NF-κB pathway. To investigate the correlation between gender differences in plasma lipoprotein phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) levels and the risk of recurrent stroke in patients with acute ischaemic stroke in China. We conducted a prospective follow-up study that included baselineLp-PLA2 levels and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores in patients with ischaemic stroke upon admission. The diagnostic efficacy of the baseline Lp-PLA2 level for stroke recurrence was evaluated. And Kaplan‒Meier method was used to analyse the difference in the risk of recurrent stroke between these two groups among males and females. A paired t test was used to analyse the difference in Lp-PLA2 levels in male and female patients after follow-up. Baseline plasma Lp-PLA2 was higher in men and women with recurrent stroke than in those without recurrent stroke. The correlation between baseline Lp-PLA2 and neurological impairment was higher in female than male stroke patients (R = 0.338 and 0.253, respectively). Although weakly correlated with neurological impairment, baseline Lp-PLA2 was more effective in predicting recurrent stroke (AUC = 0.705 in men, 0.788 in women). A Cox model was used to compare the risk of stroke between the high- and low-Lp-PLA2 groups (OR = 3.98 in men, 2.61 in women). According to the follow-up time of 6 months as the node, Lp-PLA2 will give different risk indicators. Elevated plasma Lp-PLA2 is an independent risk factor for recurrent ischaemic stroke but is not strongly associated with the degree of cerebral damage. The interplay between bacteria and their host influences the homeostasis of the human immune microenvironment, and this reciprocal interaction also affects the process of tissue damage repair. A variety of immunomodulatory commensal bacteria reside in the body, capable of delivering membrane vesicles (MVs) to host cells to regulate the local immune microenvironment. This research revealed, for the initial time, the significant enhancement of mucosal and cutaneous wound healing by MVs secreted by the human commensal Lactobacillus reuteri (RMVs) through modulation of the inflammatory environment in wound tissue. Local administration of RMVs reduces the proportion of pro‐inflammatory macrophages in inflamed tissues and mitigates the level of local inflammation, thereby facilitating the healing of oral mucosa and cutaneous wounds. The elevated oxidative stress levels in activated pro‐inflammatory macrophages can be modulated by RMVs, resulting in phenotypic transformation of macrophages. Furthermore, 3‐hydroxypropionaldehyde present in RMVs can decrease the mitochondrial permeability of macrophages and stabilize the mitochondrial membrane potential, thereby promoting the conversion of macrophages to an anti‐inflammatory phenotype. Summary: This study investigates the seismic impact of concrete floors on reduced beam section beam‐to‐column joints through four quasi‐static cyclic tests. We examine mechanical properties, failure modes, and processes against specific criteria. Additionally, we analyze hysteretic response, energy dissipation, stiffness, capacity, and stress–strain mechanisms. Moreover, the ABAQUS platform was used to reproduce the specimen nonlinear finite element model to compare and analyze the test results. The results showed that the specimens exhibit excellent energy dissipation capacity and ductility (with a coefficient of 5.00); the column‐bar connection characteristics affect the maximum capacity and plastic hinge behavior in the reduced beam area. The reduced section of beam's upper flange could not improve the overall seismic performance of the joint. The observed failure sequence is as follows: concrete floor cracking, beam flange yielding, reinforcement fracture, lower flange yielding in the reduced beam area, and overall joint failure. Summary: Hip fracture risk assessment is an important but challenging task. Quantitative CT-based patient-specific finite element (FE) analysis (FEA) incorporates bone geometry and bone density in the proximal femur. We developed a global FEA-computed fracture risk index to increase the prediction accuracy of hip fracture incidence. Purpose: Quantitative CT-based patient-specific finite element (FE) analysis (FEA) incorporates bone geometry and bone density in the proximal femur to compute the force (fracture load) and energy necessary to break the proximal femur in a particular loading condition. The fracture loads and energies-to-failure are individually associated with incident hip fracture, and provide different structural information about the proximal femur. Methods: We used principal component analysis (PCA) to develop a global FEA-computed fracture risk index that incorporates the FEA-computed yield and ultimate failure loads and energies-to-failure in four loading conditions of 110 hip fracture subjects and 235 age- and sex-matched control subjects from the AGES-Reykjavik study. Using a logistic regression model, we compared the prediction performance for hip fracture based on the stratified resampling. Results: We referred the first principal component (PC1) of the FE parameters as the global FEA-computed fracture risk index, which was the significant predictor of hip fracture (p-value < 0.001). The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) using PC1 (0.776) was higher than that using all FE parameters combined (0.737) in the males (p-value < 0.001). Hydroformylation is one of the most important homogeneous reactions in industrial production. Herein, a density functional theory (DFT) method was employed to investigate two proposed reaction mechanisms of hydroformylation catalyzed by cationic cobalt(II) complexes, the carbonyl dissociative mechanism and the associative mechanism. The calculated results showed that the heterolytic H2 activation is the rate-determining step for both the dissociative mechanism and the associative mechanism, with energy barriers of 26.8 kcal mol−1 and 40.5 kcal mol−1, respectively. Meanwhile, the regioselectivity, the spin multiplicity of the catalyst and the substituent effects on the reaction were also investigated. The most stable cobalt(II) catalyst has a doublet state and the linear aldehyde is the dominant product. In addition, it was found that the energy barrier of the reaction decreased when the electron density of the Co center of the catalyst was increased by changing the ligand. The catalytic activity of the catalyst was proposed to be the best when the PEt2 group of the ligand is replaced by the P(tBu)2 group. This study might not only provide new insights for hydroformylation catalyzed by cobalt but also facilitate theory-guided design of novel transition metal catalysts for hydroformylation. Under physical conditions such as TC = 68 °C, Vanadium dioxide (VO2) undergoes a reversible transformation from a monoclinic phase to a tetragonal rutile phase. This transformation is accompanied by a series of changes in physical properties, including transmittance, conductivity, and refractive index, which make it an excellent functional material. Based on this, VO2 has been extensively researched and applied in the fields of electronics and optics, yielding remarkable results and making it a hot research material. This paper reviews the phase transition mechanisms and optical/electrical properties of VO2, as well as its phase transition hysteresis. From the application perspective, this paper summarizes the modulation content under various external excitations and the element doping effects. Finally, this paper summarizes the classic VO2‐based devices, and points out the development direction and potential of VO2 in optics and electronics. Autonomous cars are indispensable when humans go further down the hands-free route. Although existing literature highlights that the acceptance of the autonomous car will increase if it drives in a human-like manner, sparse research offers the naturalistic experience from a passenger's seat perspective to examine the humanness of current autonomous cars. The present study tested whether the AI driver could create a human-like ride experience for passengers based on 69 participants’ feedback in a real-road scenario. We designed a ride experience-based version of the non-verbal Turing test for automated driving. Participants rode in autonomous cars (driven by either human or AI drivers) as a passenger and judged whether the driver was human or AI. The AI driver failed to pass our test because passengers detected the AI driver above chance. In contrast, when the human driver drove the car, the passengers’ judgement was around chance. We further investigated how human passengers ascribe humanness in our test. Based on Lewin's field theory, we advanced a computational model combining signal detection theory with pre-trained language models to predict passengers’ humanness rating behaviour. We employed affective transition between pre-study baseline emotions and corresponding post-stage emotions as the signal strength of our model. Results showed that the passengers’ ascription of humanness would increase with the greater affective transition. Toxoplasma gondii is a zoonotic parasite infecting humans and nearly all warm‐blooded animals. Successful parasitism in diverse hosts at various developmental stages requires the parasites to fine tune their metabolism according to environmental cues and the parasite's needs. By manipulating the β and γ subunits, we have previously shown that AMP‐activated protein kinase (AMPK) has critical roles in regulating the metabolic and developmental programmes. However, the biological functions of the α catalytic subunit have not been established. T. gondii encodes a canonical AMPKα, as well as a KIN kinase whose kinase domain has high sequence similarities to those of classic AMPKα proteins. Here, we found that TgKIN is dispensable for tachyzoite growth, whereas TgAMPKα is essential. Depletion of TgAMPKα expression resulted in decreased ATP levels and reduced metabolic flux in glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid cycle, confirming that TgAMPK is involved in metabolic regulation and energy homeostasis in the parasite. Sequential truncations at the C‐terminus found an α‐helix that is key for the function of TgAMPKα. The amino acid sequences of this α‐helix are not conserved among various AMPKα proteins, likely because it is involved in interactions with TgAMPKβ, which only have limited sequence similarities to AMPKβ in other eukaryotes. For the application of continuously adjustable optical fiber delay lines, a large delay range can increase the instrument's measurement range. Increased insertion loss of components will reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of the collected signal, ultimately limiting the measurement accuracy of the instrument. In order to take into account both large delay range and low insertion loss in design, a spatial light transmission and fiber coupling model based on scalar diffraction theory was established and the insertion loss was equivalently calculated through the coupling efficiency of the coupling lens. Then, we analyze the impact of optical fiber delay line's structural parameters and adjustment errors on coupling efficiency. By optimizing lens group parameters and limiting adjustment tolerances, we can reduce the insertion loss of optical fiber delay lines in a large delay range and conduct experimental verification. Considering various influencing factors, we use a lens group with a focal length of 12 mm, achieving a coupling efficiency of no less than 92.7% within the delay range of 0-1 m. Although colloidal perovskite nanocrystal (PNC) solution has exhibited near‐unity photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), the luminance would be severely quenched when the PNC solution is assembled into thin films due to the agglomeration and fusion of NCs caused by the exfoliation of surface ligands and non‐radiative Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) from small to large particle sizes, which seriously affected the performances of light‐emitting diodes (LEDs). Here, we used Guanidine thiocyanate (GASCN) and Sodium thiocyanate (NaSCN) to achieve effective CsPbI3 PNC surface reconstruction. Due to the strong coordination ability of these small molecules with the anions and cations on the surface of the PNCs, they can provide strong surface protection against PNC fusion during centrifugal purification process and repair the surface defects of PNCs, so that the original uniform size distribution of PNCs can be maintained and FRET between close‐packed PNC films is effectively suppressed, which allows the emission characteristics of the films to be preserved. As a result, highly oriented, smooth and nearly defect‐free high‐quality PNC thin films are obtained, with PLQY as high as 95.1 %, far exceeding that of the original film, and corresponding LEDs exhibit a maximum external quantum efficiency of 24.5 %. Accurate detection of fibrotic interstitial lung disease (f-ILD) is conducive to early intervention. Our aim was to develop a lung graph-based machine learning model to identify f-ILD. A total of 417 HRCTs from 279 patients with confirmed ILD (156 f-ILD and 123 non-f-ILD) were included in this study. A lung graph-based machine learning model based on HRCT was developed for aiding clinician to diagnose f-ILD. In this approach, local radiomics features were extracted from an automatically generated geometric atlas of the lung and used to build a series of specific lung graph models. Encoding these lung graphs, a lung descriptor was gained and became as a characterization of global radiomics feature distribution to diagnose f-ILD. The Weighted Ensemble model showed the best predictive performance in cross-validation. The classification accuracy of the model was significantly higher than that of the three radiologists at both the CT sequence level and the patient level. At the patient level, the diagnostic accuracy of the model versus radiologists A, B, and C was 0.986 (95% CI 0.959 to 1.000), 0.918 (95% CI 0.849 to 0.973), 0.822 (95% CI 0.726 to 0.904), and 0.904 (95% CI 0.836 to 0.973), respectively. There was a statistically significant difference in AUC values between the model and 3 physicians (p < 0.05). The lung graph-based machine learning model could identify f-ILD, and the diagnostic performance exceeded radiologists which could aid clinicians to assess ILD objectively. Given a sequence of HRCT slices from a patient, the lung field is first automatically extracted. Next, this lung region is divided into 36 sub-regions using geometric rules, obtaining a lung atlas. And then, the lung graph is built based on 3D radiomics features of each sub-region of the lung atlas. Finally, the model's predictions were compared to the physicians' assessment results. Objective: To assess lung deformation in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) using with elastic registration algorithm applied to three-dimensional ultrashort echo time (3D-UTE) MRI and analyze relationship of lung deformation with the severity of IPF. Methods: Seventy-six patients with IPF (mean age: 62 ± 6 years) and 62 age- and gender-matched healthy controls (mean age: 58 ± 4 years) were prospectively enrolled. End-inspiration and end-expiration images acquired with a single breath-hold 3D-UTE sequence were registered using elastic registration algorithm. Jacobian determinants were calculated from deformation fields and represented on color maps. Jac-mean (absolute value of the log means of Jacobian determinants) and the Dice similarity coefficient (Dice) were compared between different groups. Results: Compared with healthy controls, the Jac-mean of IPF patients significantly decreased (0.21 ± 0.08 vs. 0.27 ± 0. 07, p < 0.001). Furthermore, the Jac-mean and Dice correlated with the metrics of pulmonary function tests and the composite physiological index. The lung deformation in IPF patients with dyspnea Medical Research Council (MRC) ≥ 3 (Jac-mean: 0.16 ± 0.03; Dice: 0.06 ± 0.02) was significantly lower than MRC1 (Jac-mean: 0. 25 ± 0.03, p < 0.001; Dice: 0.10 ± 0.01, p < 0.001) and MRC 2 (Jac-mean: 0.22 ± 0.11, p = 0.001; Dice: 0.08 ± 0.03, p = 0.006). Meanwhile, Jac-mean and Dice correlated with health-related quality of life, 6 min-walk distance, and the extent of pulmonary fibrosis. Jac-mean correlated with pulmonary vascular-related indexes on high-resolution CT. Conclusion: The decreased lung deformation in IPF patients correlated with the clinical severity of IPF patients. Accurate prognosis for cancer patients can provide critical information for optimizing treatment plans and improving life quality. Combining omics data and demographic/clinical information can offer a more comprehensive view of cancer prognosis than using omics or clinical data alone and can also reveal the underlying disease mechanisms at the molecular level. In this study, we developed and validated a deep learning framework to extract information from high-dimensional gene expression and miRNA expression data and conduct prognosis prediction for breast cancer and ovarian-cancer patients using multiple independent multi-omics datasets. Our model achieved significantly better prognosis prediction than the current machine learning and deep learning approaches in various settings. The study of the response of vegetation phenology in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau to various climatic variables is paramount to unveiling the reaction of alpine ecosystems to worldwide climate alterations. Nonetheless, the lagged and cumulative effects of various climatic variables on vegetation phenology in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau remain unclear. Therefore, based on MODIS NDVI data, we extracted vegetation phenological parameters from 2001 to 2020, including the start of the vegetation growing season (SOS) and the end of the vegetation growing season (EOS), and then analyzed the response mechanisms of vegetation phenology to pre-seasonal air temperature (T), precipitation (P), and daytime and nighttime land surface temperatures (DLST, NLST) in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau on the basis of an investigation of the lag and cumulative effects. The results showed that: (1) the multiyear mean values of the SOS mainly occurred from 120 to 160 days, accounting for 86.17% of the study area, while the multiyear mean values of the EOS were mainly concentrated between 260 and 280 days, accounting for 77.05% of the study area; (2) air temperature (T), precipitation (P), and daytime and nighttime land surface temperatures (DLST, NLST) had different degrees of lagging effects on the SOS and the EOS. Among them, the time lag effect of precipitation on vegetation phenology was more pronounced; (3) different climatic variables had distinct cumulative effects on vegetation phenology. In contrast to the insignificant cumulative effects of temperature and nighttime surface temperature on the SOS and the EOS, the cumulative effects of precipitation and daytime land surface temperature on the SOS were more pronounced than those on the EOS; (4) the SOS and air temperature, precipitation, and NLST were mainly negatively correlated, in which the proportion of the negative correlation between SOS and NLST was up to 68.80%, and SOS and DLST were mainly positively correlated with a positive correlation proportion of 73.27%, EOS and air temperature, precipitation, and NLST were positively correlated with a positive correlation proportion of EOS and precipitation of up to 71.52%, and EOS and DLST were mainly negatively correlated with a negative correlation ratio of 55.87%. Megacity regions where human activities are intensive are key areas for CVD prevention and control in China. Optimizing land-use patterns has been widely recognized as an important public health intervention. Ecological space, agricultural space, and construction space are three basic management objects in China's new land-use management system. Given that most existing studies focused on a single type of land use, this study treats them as a whole and not only explores the impact of each type, but also systematically investigates the effects of the interactions between any two types of land use and the whole land-use pattern. Specifically, this study first constructs a hierarchical index system, then uses spatial error models (SEM) to explore the global associations between each index and age-standardized CVD mortality rates (ASMRs) and uses the multiple geographical weighted regression model (MGWR) to explore the spatial heterogeneity of factor effects. The possible association between land-use patterns and CVD mortality is then explored, and recommendations for policy formulation are provided. The analysis results show that the overall pattern of moderately decentralized and organically combined land use can control CVD mortality to a certain extent, but the specific influence mechanisms show significant differences according to different land-use types, relationships, and location conditions. First, in terms of single-type land-use distribution, the concentration of ecological space has positive health benefits, while a too high concentration of agricultural space has negative effects. Second, the combination of different types of land use has a significant association with CVD, in which the mixed layout of ecological and agricultural space helps to suppress CVD, while ecological and construction space need to be appropriately regularized and should not be too interspersed. Purpose: To re-assess cardiovascular metrics on computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) in predicting pulmonary hypertension (PH) under the 2022 ESC/ERS guidelines. Materials and methods: This observational study retrospectively included 272 patients (female 143, mean age = 54.9 ± 12.5 years old) with suspected PH. 218 patients were grouped to evaluate cardiovascular metrics on CTPA and develop a binary logistic regression model. The other 54 patients were grouped into the validation group to assess the performance of the prediction model under the updated criteria. Based on mean pulmonary artery pressure (mPAP), patients were divided into three groups: group A consisted of patients with mPAP ≤ 20 mmHg, group B included patients with 20 mmHg < mPAP < 25 mmHg, and group C comprised patients with mPAP ≥ 25 mmHg. Cardiovascular metrics among the three groups were compared, and receiver operating characteristic curves (ROCs) were used to evaluate the performance of cardiovascular metrics in predicting mPAP > 20 mmHg. Results: The main pulmonary arterial diameter (MPAd), MPAd/ascending aorta diameter ratio (MPAd/AAd ratio), and right ventricular free wall thickness (RVFWT) showed significant differences among the three groups (p < 0.05). The area under curve (AUC) of MPAd was larger than MPAd/AAd ratio and RVFWT. A MPAd cutoff value of 30.0 mm has a sensitivity of 83.1% and a specificity of 90.4%. The AUC of the binary logistic regression model (Z = − 12.98187 + 0.31053 MPAd + 1.04863 RVFWT) was 0.938 ± 0.018. In the validation group, the AUC, sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the prediction model were 0.878, 92.7%, 76.9%, and 88.9%, respectively. Conclusion: Under the updated criteria, MPAd with a threshold value of 30.0 mm has better sensitivity and specificity in predicting PH. The binary logistic regression model may improve the diagnostic accuracy. C2+ hydrocarbons, especially C2+ olefins, as important basic chemical raw materials, mainly come from petroleum cracking. With the increasing scarcity of petroleum resources, the search for new olefins production routes has become the focus of research, and the production of olefins by the oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) process has attracted extensive attention. The OCM route is an important alternative to the production of olefins from petroleum resources and is also an important direction for the development of efficient and clean utilization of natural gas. In this paper, the mechanism, catalysts, and other key factors for the production of olefins by methane oxidative coupling are reviewed. The mechanism of OCM, including the reaction pathway and the formation of intermediate products, is introduced. Then, commonly used catalysts, such as alkali metal/alkaline earth metal oxides, rare earth metal oxides, composite metal oxides with special structures, and classical catalysts Mn/Na2WO4/SiO2, and their mechanisms of action in the reaction are discussed. In addition, the application of chemical looping oxidative coupling of methane (CLOCM) in olefin production is also investigated, which is a promising alternative way due to the high selectivity of olefins and the low cost of catalysts owing to the excellent performance of the catalyst recycling. In recent years, single image super-resolution based on convolutional neural network (CNN) has been extensively researched. However, most CNN-based methods only focus on mining features at a single resolution or processing features at different resolutions in series, which will cause the loss of broad context or spatial details. To address these issues, we design a cross-resolution feature attention network, which can progressively reconstruct images at different scale factors. Specifically, the reconstruction of each scale factor contains cascaded cross-resolution residual block (CRRB) and a resolution-wise attention block (RAB). CRRB can extract features at different resolutions in parallel rather than in series, which enriches not only global contextual information but also spatial details. RAB can adaptively capture the importance of features from different resolutions, making the feature fusion more effective. We have tested our network on Set5, Set14, BSD100, Urban100 and Manga109 dataset for × 2, × 4 and × 8 SR. Experimental results on the five datasets show that our proposed method achieves 0.24 dB, 0.09 dB and 0.21 dB higher PSNR than that of MS-LapSRN, MGBP and RMUN for × 8 SR, respectively, and also achieves favorable performance against the state-of-the-art methods on × 2 and × 4 SR. This study aimed to investigate the role of salidroside (SAL) in the cellular communication between Müller cells and retinal ganglion cells in diabetic mice. The diabetes mellitus (DM) animal models were established by the intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin and treatment with SAL via gavage or by the injection of IL-22BP into the vitreous cavity. Immunohistochemistry was used to measure the expression of the glial fibrillary acidic protein in Müller cells. The expression of IL-22 and IL-22Rα1 in retinal tissues was assessed by immunofluorescence. Western blotting was used to measure the expression of inflammatory and apoptosis-related proteins. Hematoxylin–eosin staining, TUNEL staining, and flow cytometry were used to analyze the apoptosis of retinal ganglion cells. The effect of cellular interactions was explored by Transwell assays. Western blotting showed that glial fibrillary acidic protein, IL-22 protein expression was significantly upregulated in the DM animal models compared with the control mice. Immunofluorescence showed that IL-22 was highly expressed in Müller cells and IL-22Rα1 was expressed in ganglion cells in the retina of DM mice. Hematoxylin–eosin and TUNEL staining results showed an increase in the number of ganglion cells apoptotic in DM. However, SAL reversed these phenomena. Meanwhile, after coculture with Müller cells, Western blotting suggested that ganglion cells secreted p-STAT3, and c-caspase3 protein expression was increased. More interestingly, the treatment of IL-22BP and SAL inhibited the expression of the p-STAT3 and c-caspase3 proteins. Flow cytometry indicates that compared with the control group, the apoptosis rate of ganglion cells was increased in the high glucose group, while the apoptosis rate of cells in the recombinant IL-22 protein group was significantly increased, while the SAL inhibited ganglion cells apoptosis. In recent years, with the rapid development of military, optical communication, biological imaging, and other fields, practical engineering applications such as fiber‐optic gyroscope, wavelength division multiplexing, and optical coherence tomography have put forward higher requirements on light sources. Amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) light source has become an excellent candidate due to its advantages such as suitable bandwidth, low coherence, and high power. Although the ASE light source is developed to a certain extent, there is still great room for improvement in the choice of gain medium and device structure. In order to accelerate the development and practical engineering application of ASE optoelectronic devices, it is of great significance to grasp the basic characteristics of the gain materials and the design of the device structure. In this review, the principle of the ASE effect and its difference with the generation of lasing are analyzed. Then, the optical gain properties of various gain materials, together with different structural types of electrically pumped ASE devices and their practical engineering applications, are summarized. GH4169 is primarily strengthened through precipitation, with heat treatment serving as a crucial method for regulating the precipitates of the alloy. However, the impact of aging temperature on the microstructure and properties of GH4169 has not been thoroughly studied, hindering effective regulation of its microstructure and properties. This study systematically investigated the effects of aging temperature on the evolution of precipitates and mechanical properties of GH4169 alloy using various techniques such as OM, SEM, XRD and TEM. The results indicate that raising the aging temperature leads to an increase in the sizes of both the γ″ and γ′ phases in the alloy, as well as promoting the precipitation of δ phase at grain boundaries. Notably, the increase in γ″ phase size enhances the strength of the alloy, while the presence of δ phase is detrimental to its strength but greatly enhances its elongation. The yield strength of the alloy aged at 750 ℃ exhibits the highest yield strength, with values of 1135 MPa and 1050 MPa at room temperature and elevated temperature, respectively. As the aging temperature increases, the Portevin-Le Châtelier (PLC) effect during elevated temperature tensile tests at 650 ℃ gradually weakens. This study investigates the intermodel spread of changes in the Eurasian winter surface air temperature (SAT) based on Coupled Model Intercomparison Project 6 (CMIP6) and explains it from the perspective of circulation under shared socioeconomic pathway 2–4.5. Results show that the leading intermodel spread of Eurasian SAT change, derived from the intermodel empirical orthogonal function analysis (EOF), is characterized by a warming pattern of SAT change. This warming pattern is associated with the changes in the weakened Siberian High and Aleutian Low, the weakened subtropical jet, the poleward polar jet, and the tilting trough. The combination of these circulations has prevented the intrusion of the cold air to the south and therefore results in the warming SAT change pattern. Their relative contribution weights of the weakened Siberian High and Aleutian Low, the tilting East Asian trough, the weakened subtropical jet, and the poleward polar jet are 12.73%, 20.43%, 30.24%, 20.96%, and 15.64%, respectively. All these changes may be traced to the warm sea surface temperature (SST) changes in the western North Pacific and tropical Atlantic Ocean, via the meridional temperature gradient and wave trains, respectively. These warmings would be the potential metrics for reducing the intermodel uncertainties of the winter SAT projection at the end of the 21st century over the Eurasian continent. Plain Language Summary: There are still large intermodel uncertainties in the projection of the winter SAT over the Eurasian continent. In this study, the intermodel EOF is utilized to derive the intermodel spread in the winter SAT change at the end of the 21st century over the Eurasian continent. An atmospheric pressure glow discharge ionisation source was constructed and utilized to study the dopamine (DA) oxidation process coupling with mass spectrometry. During the DA oxidation process catalysed by polyphenol oxidase (PPO), six cationic intermediates were directly detected by the atmospheric pressure glow discharge mass spectrometry (APGD-MS). Combined with tandem mass spectrometry, the structures of the dopamine o-semiquinone radical (DASQ) and leukodopaminochrome radical (LDAC●) intermediates and structures of the isomers of dopaminochrome (DAC) and 5,6-dihydroxyindole (DHI) were further characterised with the introduction of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine 1-oxyl (TEMPO) and deuterium oxide (D2O) to APGD-MS. Meanwhile, UV–Vis studies confirmed the important role of PPO in catalyzing the DA oxidation reaction. Based on APGD-MS studies, a possible mechanism could be proposed for DA oxidation catalysed by PPO. Objectives: Our objective is to compare the right/left ventricular blood pool T1 ratio (RVT1/LVT1), and right/left ventricular blood pool T2 ratio (RVT2/LVT2) on Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMR) between patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH) and normal controls, to analyze the correlation of RVT1/LVT1, RVT2/LVT2 and hemodynamics measured with right heart catheterization (RHC) in patients with PH. Methods: Forty two patients with PH and 40 gender-and age-matched healthy controls were prospectively included. All patients underwent RHC and CMR within 24 h. The right and left ventricular blood pool T1 and T2 values were respectively measured, and RVT1/LVT1 and RVT2/LVT2 between the PH group and the healthy control were compared. Meanwhile, the correlation between RVT1/LVT1, RV/LVT2 ratio and hemodynamic parameters in patients with PH respectively was analyzed. Results: In the control group, RVT2 was significantly lower than LVT2 (t = 6.782, p < 0.001) while RVT1 also was lower than LVT1 (t = 8.961, p < 0.001). In patients with PH, RVT2 was significantly lower than LVT2 (t = 9.802, p < 0.001) while RVT1 was similar to LVT1 (t = − 1.378, p = 0.176). RVT2/LVT2 in the PH group was significantly lower than that in the control group (p < 0.001). RVT1/LVT1 in PH patients increased in comparison with the control group (p < 0.001). RVT2/LVT2 negatively correlated with pulmonary vascular resistance (r = − 0.506) and positively correlated with cardiac index (r = 0.521), blood oxygen saturation in Superior vena cava, right atrium, right ventricle and pulmonary artery (r = 0.564, 0.603, 0.648, 0.582). Conclusions: RVT2/LVT2 on T2 mapping could be an additional CMR imaging marker that may assist to evaluate the severity of PH. The COVID-19 pandemic and associated prevention policies can directly or indirectly alter the sentiment of individuals while registering water pollution complaints, but observational evidence remains limited. Here, we conducted a sentiment analysis on over 10,000 water pollution complaints from residents in Alabama, USA (2012–2021) to better understand how and to what extent COVID-19 has altered emotion (polarity score-based) and attitude (subjectivity) of water pollution complaints. We found that the 2017 state-wise drought significantly increased the percentage of negative water pollution complaints by +35%, with no significant alternation in attitude before the COVID-19 pandemic. Since COVID-19, the percentage of negative and subjective water pollution complaints significantly decreased and increased by −30 and +20%, respectively, and these sentiment alternations were maintained by 2021. This study provides a new direction for environmental governance and management, requiring a timely response to changes in the public's emotions and attitudes during the next climate extremes and pandemics. A plasma–catalyst hybrid system has been developed for the direct conversion of methane to C2+ hydrocarbons in dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma. TiO2 presented the highest C2+ yield of 11.63% among different dielectric materials when integrated with DBD plasma, which made us concentrate on the TiO2-based catalyst. It was demonstrated that MnTi catalyst showed the best methane coupling performance of 27.29% C2+ yield with 150 V applied voltage, without additional thermal input. The catalytic performance of MnTi catalyst under various operation parameters was further carried out, and different techniques, such as X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and H2-temperature-programmed reduction were used to explore the effect of Mn loading on methane oxidative coupling (OCM) performance. The results showed that applied voltage and flow rate had a significant effect on methane activation. The dielectric particles of TiO2 loaded with Mn not only synergistically affected the coupling reaction, but also facilitated charge deposition to generate a strong local electric field to activate methane. The synergy effects boosted the OCM performance and the C2+ yield became 1.25 times higher than that of the undoped TiO2 under identical operating conditions in plasma, which was almost impossible to occur even at 850 °C on the MnTi catalyst in the absence of plasma. Moreover, the reaction activity of the catalyst was fully recovered by plasma regeneration at 300 °C and maintained its stability in for at least 30 consecutive cyclic redox tests. The performance of decoding algorithm is one of the important influential factors to determine the communication quality of optical camera communication (OCC) system. In this paper, we first propose a decoding algorithm with adaptive thresholding based on the captured pixel values under an ideal environment, and then we further propose a decoding algorithm with multiple features, which is more suitable under the existence of the interference of light sources. The algorithm firstly determines the light-emitting diode (LED) array profile information by removing the interfering light sources through geometric features, and then identifies the LED state by calculating two grayscale features, the average gray ratio (AGR) and the gradient radial inwardness (GRI) of the LEDs, and finally obtains the LED state matrix. To investigate the cryoprotective effect of flammulina velutipes polysaccharide (FVP) on the quality characteristics in freeze‐thawed cultured large yellow croaker, 0.050%, 0.075%, and 0.100% FVP was used before freezing and the quality after thawing was compared with water soaking (WS) and commercial cryoprotectant (CC) treatment. Quality attributes were comprehensively determined instrumentally and organoleptically after thawing at 4°C. Results showed that FVP effectively reduces the quality deterioration of body color and water‐holding capacity, while no obvious effects were observed in texture and flavor. As for body color, both FVP and CC treatment could maintain the b* value to a large extent. Among them, 0.075% FVP shows the highest value in two sample points, with 55.2% and 21.0% increases seen in the values in WS. FVP‐dose‐dependent trends were found in water‐holding capacity, where a reduction of 28.26% and 14.38% in thawing loss and cooking loss was observed in the 0.100% FVP group. Low‐field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF‐NMR) also revealed that immobilized water and free water were more tightly retained in the muscle tissue with FVP addition. The results of the sensory evaluation are essentially in line with the above observations. Chemical looping oxidative coupling of methane (CLOCM) provides a promising route for methane conversion to high-valued olefins, in which oxygen carriers serve as oxygen donors and catalysts to facilitate methane activation and C–C coupling reactions. Herein, the perovskite CaMnO 3 was used as the oxygen carrier for CLOCM due to the high catalytic activity of Mn, and tungstate was selected to modify CaMnO 3 for improving the C 2 product selectivity. The results showed that CaMnO 3 with 6% Na 2 WO 4 doping exhibited the highest activity at 800 °C with a C 2 yield of 15.5% and good redox stability for at least 30 cycles. The coexistence of Na 2 WO 4 with CaMnO 3 synergistically controlled the methane conversion and C–C coupling. Further characterizations indicated that the core-shell structure with the inner layer of CaMnO 3 and the outer layer of Na 2 WO 4 effectively regulated the oxygen release and transformation. Na 2 WO 4 modification resulted in an obvious decrease of nonselective oxygen species which were prone to the deep oxidation of methane while leading to a great increase of O2− species that could selectively oxidize methane to C 2 hydrocarbons. The model uncertainty, one of the major sources of projection uncertainty, is still a challenge in the climate simulation. In this study, we investigated the inter‐model spread of the simulated winter surface air temperature (SAT) over the Eurasian continent and the physical link to the upper‐level jet streams from the Coupled Model Inter‐comparison Project Phase 6 models. Extracted by the inter‐model empirical orthogonal function analysis, the leading inter‐model spread of SAT over the Eurasian continent is characterized by a cold pattern, particularly over high latitudes, which is closely associated with the out‐of‐phase variation in the intensity of the East Asian polar front jet (EAPJ) and East Asian subtropical jet (EASJ). The weakened‐EAPJ‐enhanced‐EASJ pattern is linked to the intensified Siberian high, the strengthened Aleutian low, and the deepened East Asian trough. All the variations would benefit the cold air invasion, resulting in the leading inter‐model spread of the SAT. The possible mechanism for the inter‐model uncertainty in the out‐of‐phase variation in the intensity of the two jets would be traced to the cooling over the Northwest Pacific oceans, which has reduced (enhanced) the meridional temperature gradient over high (low) latitudes and thereby contributed to the out of phase variation in the two jets. Our findings would help provide a potential metric for understanding the winter SAT change over the Eurasian continent. Saltwater intrusion is a common feature in the Changjiang Estuary affected by river discharges and tidal flows. It leads to a two‐layer flow structure during the flood‐to‐ebb tidal transient period: the seaward tidal flow in the upper water column and onshore intruded salt flow in the lower column, even though the lower column water usually experiences an ebb flow eventually. Our recent measurements with a tripod deployed in a tidal channel of the North Branch in the East China Sea challenged this feature. We detected that the two‐layer flow structure disappeared in the ebb tide period during the neap cycle due to intense saltwater intrusion. A constant onshore flood‐like flow predominated the entire water column. The physical mechanism for the flow reversal was examined using the Finite Volume Community Ocean Model (FVCOM). The FVCOM was robust to capture the observed flow reversal in the tidal channel during the neap tidal cycle. The momentum balance analysis results suggest that the flow reversal occurred when the saltwater intrusion‐induced onshore baroclinic pressure gradient force and baroclinic tidal rectification overwhelmed the seaward barotropic pressure gradient force. A parameter‐driven criterion was derived theoretically to determine the potential occurrence of a stable ebb flow reversal in the tidal channel. In the Changjiang Estuary, it could create a two‐layer flow structure during the flood‐to‐ebb transient period, a seaward fresher ebb tidal flow in the upper water column, and an onshore intruded salt flow in the lower water column. Could the increased saltwater intrusion destroy this two‐layer flow structure and form an onshore flow throughout the water column in the ebb‐tidal period during a neap tidal cycle? To answer these questions, we deployed a tripod system integrated with state‐of‐the‐art marine instruments in a tidal channel of North Branch in the Changjiang Estuary, an area where saltwater intrusion frequently occurs. The observational data captured a flow‐overtured feature, showing a stable flood‐like intruded flow throughout the entire water column in the ebb‐tidal period during a neap tidal cycle. We applied the Finite‐Volume Community Ocean Model to examine the physical driving mechanism for flow‐overturning. The results suggest that the flow‐overturning could occur when the along‐channel saltwater intrusion‐induced baroclinic pressure gradient force and stratified tidal rectification overwhelmed the along‐channel tide‐induced barotropic pressure gradient force. The model uncertainty, one of the major sources of projection uncertainty, is still a challenge in the climate change projection. In this study, the model uncertainty in simulating the East Asian summer monsoon rainfall and its physical link to the upper‐level jet streams and the western North Pacific subtropical high (WNPSH) are investigated from the Coupled Model Inter‐comparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) models. The results show that extracted by the inter‐model Empirical Orthogonal Function method, the leading inter‐model mode of the rainfall is characterized as a meridional pattern. The positive mode (a continent‐wet‐ocean‐dry pattern) is closely associated with a northward shift of the oceanic branch of the East Asian subtropical jet and a northward movement of the WNPSH, while the negative mode (a continent‐dry‐ocean‐wet pattern) is highly correlated with an enhanced East Asian polar‐front jet combined with a weakened land branch of the East Asian subtropical jet as well as a weakened and eastward recess of the WNPSH. This systematic link among the atmospheric circulations and the leading inter‐model mode is maintained by the negative phase of the Victoria Mode in the North Pacific and warming over the Atlantic Ocean in the positive mode, and the cooling over the Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and the warming over the central Pacific in the negative mode. Our findings suggest that the physical linkage between the atmospheric circulations and monsoon rainfall is useful to understand the model uncertainty, which would be helpful in providing potential indicators of the East Asia summer monsoon change. Toxoplasma gondii is a widespread eukaryotic pathogen that causes life-threatening diseases in humans and diverse animals. It has a complex life cycle with multiple developmental stages, which are timely adjusted according to growth conditions. But the regulatory mechanisms are largely unknown. Here we show that the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), a key regulator of energy homeostasis in eukaryotes, plays crucial roles in controlling the cell cycle progression and bradyzoite development in Toxoplasma. Deleting the β regulatory subunit of AMPK in the type II strain ME49 caused massive DNA damage and increased spontaneous conversion to bradyzoites (parasites at chronic infection stage), leading to severe growth arrest and reduced virulence of the parasites. Under alkaline stress, all Δampkβ mutants converted to a bradyzoite-like state but the cell division pattern was significantly impaired, resulting in compromised parasite viability. Moreover, we found that phosphorylation of the catalytic subunit AMPKα was greatly increased in alkaline stressed parasites, whereas AMPKβ deletion mutants failed to do so. Phosphoproteomics found that many proteins with predicted roles in cell cycle and cell division regulation were differentially phosphorylated after AMPKβ deletion, under both normal and alkaline stress conditions. Together, these results suggest that the parasite AMPK has critical roles in safeguarding cell cycle progression, and guiding the proper exist of the cell cycle to form mature bradyzoites when the parasites are stressed. Consistent with this model, growth of parasites was not significantly altered when AMPKβ was deleted in a strain that was naturally reluctant to bradyzoite development. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Developing flexible polyurethane foam (FPUF) with good anti‐ignition and self‐extinguishing performance is the fundamental way to prevent fire hazards in application. A binary composite system containing ammonium hypophosphite (NHP) and expandable graphite (EG) was applied to prepare flame‐retardant FPUF. The co‐action of NHP and EG exhibited high‐efficiency synergistic effect in improving the anti‐ignition, self‐extinguishing, and carbonization performance of FPUF. The analysis of micromorphology, element retention and chemical structure character on charring residue, reveals the physical–chemical synergistic carbonization mechanism of NHP/EG composite. The real‐time tracing on thermal‐decomposition volatiles, discloses the behaviors of NHP/EG composite in suppressing volatile fuel supply and toxic fume production. With an addition of 11 wt.% NHP and 7 wt.% EG, 11NHP/7EG achieved a limited oxygen index value of 30.3%, passed horizontal burning class HF‐1, and retained 55.6 wt.% charring residue. The peak of heat release rate and total heat release of 11NHP/7EG were both reduced by more than 50%, compared with that of pristine FPUF. The synergistic flame‐retardant mechanism of NHP/EG composite provides a valuable reference for high‐performance flame‐retardant FPUF manufacturing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The rapid development of lasers since their launch has given a new lease to traditional optical technology and immensely boosted the development of natural science. Benefiting from the salient light absorption and light emission traits, perovskite lasers show incalculable prospects in applications of optical storage, optical interconnects, high‐quality displays, on‐chip photonic communications, etc. For perovskite lasers, device structure and working principle rather than just material property are also profound, especially for the realization and assessment of electrically pumped lasers, which is the prerequisite for the ultimate practical application of perovskite lasers. With this in mind, the key characteristic parameters of possible future electrically pumped lasers are discussed herein, and a systematic review of perovskite lasers is presented in a sequential order of development. To begin, the components of lasers are introduced in detail, with an emphasis on optical microcavities and diverse proposed working mechanisms, followed by introductions of representative advances in pulsed optically pumped perovskite lasers with various lasing modes, as well as state‐of‐the‐art developments in lasing phenomenon under continuous‐wave optical pumping. Finally, the challenges and fruitful progress toward electrically pumped perovskite lasers are discussed emphatically. The large amount of oil storage tank possesses significant risks of leakage, and once leakage occurs, the combustible gas is prone to fire and explosion accidents. When the combustible gas cloud is exposed to the ignition source, there are possibilities of triggering the domino effect with more serious consequences. As one important kind of protective layers, the combustible gas detectors continuously monitor the leakage of combustible gas, guaranteeing the safety performance of the site. Using the computational fluid dynamics software FLACS as a tool, the impact of the consequences of the raw material leakage with a vapor cloud explosion accident in a large chemical fiber manufacturer's storage tank area is studied, and the risk of domino effect in the tank area during the course of the accident is predicted. The study shows that FLACS can be applied to the simulation study of gas diffusion explosion phenomenon in complex operation and storage areas, with the great capability of the explosion risk quantitative assessment and the reliable prediction to the risk of domino effects. Regional carbon management is essential for China to achieve the carbon reduction target. Studying the emission peak time and volume for Guangdong Province, which is the largest economic province with rapid carbon growth, is important for developing regions to formulate low-carbon policies. In this study, an end-use energy-based emission model integrating the guidelines for provincial CO2 emission peaking action plans and updated policies was developed to study the regional energy-related peaking time and emission scale. Taking Guangdong as a case, multiple scenarios were designed and analyzed considering factors of economic development, energy intensity, and structure. The results show that the energy-related CO2 cannot reach its peak by 2030 without control, even under low economic growth scenarios. Specifically, under high economic growth scenarios, the carbon peak can only be addressed by 2030 at around 0.65 Gt in the context of a strong transformation in energy structure as well as improvement in energy efficiency. Under medium and low economic scenarios, energy-related CO2 emissions will reach a plateau before 2030 between 0.61 and 0.64 Gt by implementing the medium and strengthening optimization of energy structure. Thus, effective measures are necessary for Guangdong's peak target in both energy efficiency improvement and energy structure optimization. At last, this study puts forward policy recommendations for the low-carbon pathway of Guangdong Province, which can provide an experience for other regions in understanding their carbon emission trajectories and help policymakers enact appropriate actions. Recently, single image super-resolution based on convolutional neural network (CNN) has achieved considerable improvements against traditional methods. However, it is still challenging for most CNN-based methods to obtain satisfactory reconstruction quality for large-scale factors. To solve the issues, we propose a progressive residual multi-dilated aggregation network (PRMAN), which performs multi-level × 2 upsampling to reconstruct images with large-scale factors. Specially, we design a residual multi-dilated aggregation block to simplify the model and supply enriched features with different receptive fields. Simultaneously, the channel attention mechanism is adopted to select informative features. Furthermore, to speed up the convergence and attain better performance, we train the model with two-stage training strategy. Extensive experimental results show that our proposed PRMAN exceeds the state-of-the-art methods in most cases. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
