The rapid repair of concrete pavement under severe cold environment requires the repair materials to have high early strength and high bond strength with concrete. Using magnesium phosphate cement (MPC) with high early strength to prepare rapid repair materials is beneficial for achieving rapid repair of concrete pavement under non curing conditions in the winter. The effects of magnesium phosphorus ratio (M/P), boron magnesium ratio (B/M), and water cement ratio (W/C) on bond strength between MPC mortar and ordinary Portland cement concrete (OPC) in severe cold environment were studied, and the interface bonding mechanism were analyzed. The results show that M/P 4 ~ 5, B/M 0.02 ~ 0.03, and W/C 0.12 ~ 0.14 are more conducive to improve bond strength between MPC mortar and OPC in severe cold environment. The 3 h bond strength between MPC mortar and OPC can exceed 2.5 MPa, meeting the requirements for rapid repair of concrete pavement in severe cold environment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The performance of the penetration system and the multi-stress creep recovery test (MSCR) were carried out for different PPA composite SBS and SBR modified asphalt binders to evaluate the storage stability, road performance and rheological properties of the modified asphalt. The laboratory test verified the conventional road performance of PPA compound polymer modified asphalt mixture and its stability under high temperature and heavy load. The results show that the incorporation of 1.0% ~1.25% polyphosphoric acid can significantly improve the high temperature performance of matrix asphalt and low-dose SBS and SBR modified asphalt,and improve the high temperature rheological properties and thermal storage stability of polymer modified asphalt. The PPA compound SBR modified asphalt mixture has the best low temperature performance. PPA compounded SBS modified asphalt mixture has better resistance to permanent deformation and water stability better than 5% SBS modified asphalt mixture. For asphalt roads with severe requirements on high temperature and heavy load, it is recommended to adopt PPA compound SBS scheme. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The preparation process of nano-montmorillonite (OMMT) and SBS modified asphalt was studied by orthogonal test. Through the three index tests of modified asphalt, the effects of each factor on the high and low temperature performance and thermal storage stability were analyzed. The results show that the content of SBS and shear temperature have significant effects on the high and low temperature performance of modified asphalt. OMMT has significant effects on the high temperature performance and thermal storage stability. The invention and maturation of white porcelain is of monumental significance in the history of Chinese ceramics, with three kilns being the most representative: Ding, Shufu, and Dehua. This article analyzes the chemical composition, microstructure, and technical processes of 32 representative samples of the above-mentioned white porcelains and explores their coloration mechanisms by means of energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry, electron microprobe, thermal dilatometry, and colorimetry. The results indicate that apparent differences among chemical composition and microstructure of the body and glaze impacted the coloration features of the three Chinese white porcelains. These results shed light on the history of Chinese ceramic technology, and have implications for interpretations of other white porcelain traditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: The global prevalent ptxP3 strains varies from about 10% to about 50% of circulating B. pertussis population in different areas of China.Methods: To investigate the difference of vaccination status between different genotypes in the circulating B. pertussis after 10 years of acellular pertussis vaccine (aPV) used in China. The nasopharyngeal swabs and isolates of B. pertussis from these patients were used to perform genotyping of antigen genes. We use antibiotic susceptibility test against erythromycin and sequencing methods for site 2047 of 23S rRNA to determine the resistance status.Results: The ptxP1 allele with erythromycin resistant (ER) B. pertussis infection (total of 449 subjects) consisted of 84.70 to 96.70% from 2012 to 2016 in this study. Vaccinated with co-purified aPV was found in 133(133/403,33.0%), 1(1/9,11.1%) and 2(2/21,9.5%) in ptxP1/fhaB3-ER, ptxP1/fhaB2-ES and ptxP3/fhaB2-ES B. pertussis infected children each, which showed a significant difference (χ2 = 6.87, P = 0.032).Conclusions: The ptxP3-ES B. pertussis was rare while the ptxP1-ER B. pertussis was steadily increased in Xi'an, China from 2012 to 2016, where co-purified aPV was prevalent used. This pose a hypothesis that the co-purified aPV might protect against ptxP3 strains more efficient, which generated a rare chance for ptxP3 strains to be under the antibiotic pressure and further developed to be erythromycin resistance. A further cohort study and the mechanisms of the additional antigen proteins of co-purified aPV protected against B. pertussis should be consideration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
