Crop rotation and fallow practices are increasingly adopted to mitigate ecological resource pressures and accelerate the development of modern agriculture. These practices have significant implications for environmental protection, soil quality enhancement and the promotion of sustainable, high‐quality agricultural development. Despite their importance, empirical research on the factors influencing participation in crop rotation and fallow remains limited and comparative analyses of different compensation scenarios are scarce. This study, grounded in behavioural economics, utilizes data from the China Rural Revitalization Survey (CRRS) and employs propensity score matching (PSM) and binary logistic regression models to analyse farmers' behaviour regarding both induced and voluntary crop rotation and fallow. The research aims to identify the factors that influence farmers' decisions to engage in these practices. The findings indicate that, under a fixed subsidy standard, the participation rates for crop rotation and fallow were 14.5% and 5.4%, respectively. Among the farmers participating in crop rotation, 43.8% were induced, while 56.2% were voluntary. For fallow practices, 47.9% of the participants were induced and 52.1% were voluntary. In the context of induced crop rotation and fallow, ecological subsidies significantly increased farmers' willingness to participate (p‐value <.001). Conversely, in voluntary contexts, resource endowment had a significantly positive impact on crop rotation behaviour (p‐value <.1), whereas path dependence and policy awareness significantly constrained fallow behaviour (p‐value <.05). The impact of ecological subsidies on farmers' crop rotation and fallow behaviour varied significantly across different ecological regions, with other factors also exhibiting notable heterogeneity. The results of this research offer valuable guidance for the implementation of future crop rotation and fallow programmes. Additionally, they provide insights into the relationship between ecological subsidy systems and farmers' welfare in other underdeveloped areas, suggesting improvements and offering new perspectives for further research. Data intelligence (DI) is constantly influencing consumers. According to the theory of environmental psychology model, when consumers are stimulated by enterprise DI in mobile shopping, they can easily transform emotional reactions into corresponding behaviors. Based on this theory, this research adopts a hybrid method combining qualitative interview and fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to explore the multifactor synergistic effects of DI factors on consumer emotions and mobile shopping intentions. Study 1 extracts five DI factors through qualitative study using NVivo software. All but one of the five DI factors had strong effects on consumer emotions. Study 2 uses the fsQCA method to analyze large‐sample survey data, revealing four configurations of DI factors that trigger positive consumer emotions and three that trigger mobile shopping intentions. The presence of intelligent search, intelligent recommendations, and intelligent logistics are the core conditions that trigger positive consumer emotions and mobile shopping intentions, while the presence or absence of intelligent customer service and intelligent pricing trigger positive consumer emotions and mobile shopping intentions. One issue with speckle-based reconstructive spectrometer (RS) is the reduced accuracy of computing output when measuring broadband signals. In this manuscript, we improve the reconstruction accuracy of RS by leveraging the polarization transmission matrix (PTM). Unlike previous works that solely utilize speckle intensity at the end of the multimode fiber facet, we incorporate complete polarization information for higher-quality spectral recovery. By optimizing independent spatial channels, output–input ratio, and speckle contrast, the PTM enables to achieve a spectral resolution of 2 pm over 2000 spectral channels. Experimental results demonstrate that our scheme reduces the broadband spectral reconstruction error by 95% and 66%, compared to scalar transmission matrix and vector transmission matrix. Summary: We established a clinical pharmacist adherence management system (CPAMS) led by clinical pharmacists to examine whether denosumab adherence could be improved. The results showed that CPAMS could effectively improve adherence to denosumab and the treatment of osteoporosis. However, this effect weakened during the spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19. Purpose: Denosumab is currently one of the drugs that can effectively reduce the risk of clinical fracture. However, as a drug requiring long-term subcutaneous injection, patient adherence to denosumab is the most important factor affecting its therapeutic efficacy. Therefore, we established a clinical pharmacist adherence management system (CPAMS) led by clinical pharmacists and examined whether denosumab adherence could be improved. Methods: Data were collected from patients receiving denosumab in our hospital between March 2021 and May 2022. The patients who participated in the CPAMS were in the intervention group, and the rest were in the control group. We analysed the proportion of days covered (PDC) value of denosumab, distribution of subsequent visits, and proportion of patients who continued participating during the normal and coronavirus (COVID-19) periods. Results: Eighty-five patients were enrolled in this retrospective study: 32 in the intervention group and 53 in the control group. The PDC values were significantly higher in the intervention group (0.9875, 0.9025–1) than in the control group (0.5, 0.5–0.5) after 1 year. The subsequent visit rate in the intervention group was 93.80%. However, none of the patients in the control group returned. In the intervention group, the ratio of timely to delayed subsequent visits was 11:19. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the PDC value of the intervention group (0.957, 0.5–1) was lower than that before COVID-19, and the ratio of timely to delayed subsequent visits was 9:13. Background: Data on the epidemiological characteristics and prognostic factors of patients with pelvic fractures are lacking, particularly in China. This study aimed to summarise the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of patients with pelvic fractures in eastern Zhejiang Province, China, and to identify risk factors for poor prognosis. Methods: The clinical data of 369 patients with pelvic fractures admitted to the Ningbo No. 6 Hospital between September 2020 and September 2021 were retrospectively analysed. Data on the demographic characteristics; fracture classification; injury time, cause, and site; treatment plan; and prognosis were collected using the Picture Archiving and Communication System and the Hospital Information System. Differences in constituent proportions were analysed using the chi-square test. Logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors affecting patient prognosis. Statistical significance was set at p ≤ 0.05. Results: Among the 369 patients, there were 206 men and 163 women, at a ratio of 1.26:1, and the average age was 53.64 ± 0.78 years. More than 50% of patients were aged 41–65 years. The average length of hospital stay was 18.88 ± 1.78 days. The three most common causes of pelvic fractures were traffic accidents (51.2%), falls from height (31.44%), and flat-ground falls (14.09%). There were significant differences in the distribution of the three causes of injury depending on age (p < 0.001), sex (p < 0.001), and occupation (p < 0.0001). Most patients were manual workers (48.8%). Furthermore, most patients (n = 262, 71.0%) underwent surgical treatment for pelvic fractures. Postoperative complications occurred in 26 patients (7.05%), and infection was the main complication (73.08%). Age (p = 0.013), occupation (p = 0.034), cause of injury (p = 0.022), treatment options (p = 0.001), and complications (p < 0.0001) were independent factors affecting the prognosis of patients with pelvic fractures. One death (0.027%) occurred, which was due to severe blood loss. Conclusions: Age, occupation, cause of injury, treatment options and complications were factors affecting patient prognosis. Background: As a new immunomodulator for rheumatoid arthritis, iguratimod (IGU) also has therapeutic potential in other immune diseases. In this study, we determined the effects of IGU on disease control in patients with palindromic rheumatism (PR). Methods: Patients with PR were divided into Control group (Ctrl group) and an IGU treatment (IGU group) groups. Drug efficacy was evaluated according to the frequency of PR attacks (monthly), the visual analog scale (VAS) score of patient pain, and clinical symptoms. Results: The drug positivity and disease control rates of the IGU group (100.00% and 90.91%, respectively) were significantly higher than those of the Ctrl group (61.11% and 5.56%; p =.002 and p <.001, respectively). The median number of PR flares and the VAS score of patients in the Ctrl group decreased from 3.00 (1.00–15.00) to 0.83 (0.00–12.00) and from 5 (4–6) to 4 (1–6), respectively. In the IGU group, the median number of PR attacks decreased from 4.50 (2.00–15.00) to 0.00 (0.00–0.33), and the VAS score decreased from 5 (4–6) to 0 (0–2). The IGU group exhibited a significant reduction in PR flare frequency and improvement in the VAS value (p <.001 and p <.001, respectively). Conclusion: Our study is the first to describe the efficacy of IGU in PR treatment. IGU can significantly reduce the number of PR flares and improve the clinical symptoms of patients with PR. Sodium sulfate (Na2SO4) and sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) are weakly alkaline activators. Alkali-activated slag (AAS) cement prepared with them shows the special advantages of long setting time and low shrinkage, but it shows slow development of mechanical properties. In the paper, Na2SO4 and Na2CO3 were used as activators and compounded with reactive magnesium oxide (MgO) and calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) to optimize the setting time and mechanical properties. The hydration products and microscopic morphology were also studied using XRD, SEM, and EDS. Furthermore, the production cost and environmental benefits were compared and analyzed. The results show that Ca(OH)2 is the main influencing factor for setting time. It reacts preferentially with Na2CO3 to form CaCO3, which makes AAS paste lose plasticity rapidly and shortens the setting time, and then produces strength. Na2SO4 and Na2CO3 are the main influencing factors for flexural and compressive strength, respectively. Suitably high content is beneficial to promote the development of mechanical strength. The interaction of Na2CO3 and Ca(OH)2 shows a great effect on the initial setting time. High content of reactive MgO can shorten the setting time and increase the mechanical strength at 28 days. There are more crystal phases in hydration products. Considering the setting time and mechanical properties, the composition of activators are: 7% Na2SO4, 4% Na2CO3, 3–5% Ca(OH)2, and 2–4% reactive MgO. Compared with ordinary Portland cement (OPC) and AAS cement activated by sodium hydroxide (NaOH, NH) and water glass (WG) with the same alkali equivalent, the production cost and energy consumption are greatly reduced. Compared with P·O 42.5 of OPC, CO2 emission is reduced by 78.1%. AAS cement activated by weakly alkaline activators shows excellent environmental and economic benefits and good mechanical properties. Building trust and enhancing consumers' participation are critical for the growth of peer‐to‐peer sharing economy. This research explores the effect of driver username on passengers' intention to use ride‐sharing service and its underlying psychological mechanisms. The results indicate that driver username has a significant impact on passengers' intention to use ride‐sharing service, as a driver with a real name elicits greater intention to use ride‐sharing service than a driver with a screen name (studies 1, 2, 3a, 3b, and 3c). In addition, the effect of driver username on passengers' intention to use ride‐sharing service is serially mediated by social presence and trust (study 2). Importantly, the effect of driver username on passengers' intention to use ride‐sharing service is moderated by driver reputation (studies 3a, 3b, and 3c). A high (vs. low) reputation facilitates the impact of driver username on passengers' usage intention. Based upon these findings, theoretical and practical implications are discussed. Background: Antibiotic resistance is a major global public health problem. The primary cause of antibiotic resistance is inappropriate antibiotic use. In this study, we aimed to verify whether the monthly evaluation of antibiotic prescription improves clinical antibiotic use in outpatient and emergency departments. Methods: A minimum of 25% of the prescriptions for antibacterial drugs were randomly selected at the outpatient and emergency departments to enter the monthly evaluation system from July 2016 to June 2019. We analysed the rate of irrational prescription of antibiotics, proportion of the use of antibiotics, and consistency between the evaluation and expert groups after implementing the monthly assessment to validate the role of monthly evaluations. Results: After 3 years of monthly evaluations of antibiotic prescriptions, the utilisation rate of single antibiotics in the outpatient and emergency departments was found to increase each year. Each year, a decreasing trend was observed for the irrational use of antibiotics, whereas the proportion of antibiotics to the total drugs prescribed gradually decreased in the same period. In addition, the consistency of prescription evaluation results between the evaluation and expert groups increased continuously. Conclusions: Monthly evaluation of antibiotic prescriptions is an effective management tool for the rational use of antibiotics in clinical practice. This practice could help reduce the combinative use of antibiotics, rate of irrational antibiotic prescription, and antibiotic use ratio, and play an important role in safe clinical drug use. Purpose: The current popular image processing technologies based on convolutional neural network have the characteristics of large computation, high storage cost and low accuracy for tiny defect detection, which is contrary to the high real-time and accuracy, limited computing resources and storage required by industrial applications. Therefore, an improved YOLOv4 named as YOLOv4-Defect is proposed aim to solve the above problems. Design/methodology/approach: On the one hand, this study performs multi-dimensional compression processing on the feature extraction network of YOLOv4 to simplify the model and improve the feature extraction ability of the model through knowledge distillation. On the other hand, a prediction scale with more detailed receptive field is added to optimize the model structure, which can improve the detection performance for tiny defects. Findings: The effectiveness of the method is verified by public data sets NEU-CLS and DAGM 2007, and the steel ingot data set collected in the actual industrial field. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed YOLOv4-Defect method can greatly improve the recognition efficiency and accuracy and reduce the size and computation consumption of the model. Originality/value: This paper proposed an improved YOLOv4 named as YOLOv4-Defect for the detection of surface defect, which is conducive to application in various industrial scenarios with limited storage and computing resources, and meets the requirements of high real-time and precision. Data stream classification is widely popular in the field of network monitoring, sensor network and electronic commerce, etc. However, in the real-world applications, recurring concept drifting and label missing in data streams seriously aggravate the difficulty on the classification solutions. And this challenge has received little attention from the research community. Motivated by this, we propose a new ensemble classification approach based on the recurring concept drifting detection and model selection for data streams with unlabeled data. First, we build an ensemble model based on the classifiers and clusters. To improve the classification accuracy, we use the ensemble model to predict each data chunk and partition clusters according to the distribution of predicted class labels. Second, we adopt a new concept drifting detection method based on the divergence of concept distributions between adjoining data chunks to distinguish recurring concept drifts. All historical new concepts will be maintained. Meanwhile, we introduce the time-stamp-based weights for base models in the ensemble model. In the selection of the base model, we consider the time-stamp-based weight and the divergence between concept distributions simultaneously. Finally, extensive experiments conducted on four benchmark data sets show that our approach can quickly adapt to data streams with recurring concept drifts, and improve the classification accuracy compared to several state-of-the-art classification algorithms for data streams with concept drifts and unlabeled data. The rapid popularity of mobile shopping makes people's lives more convenient, but it also makes it easier for customers to change providers. How to use marketing stimulus to retain customers has become an urgent concern for mobile sales companies. However, the theoretical researches in this field are not enough. For this reason, this study used the methods of literature review and structural equation to explore the effects of mobile marketing design factors on the continual intention of consumers in mobile shopping by using the S-O-R model and its extended theories. The conclusions of the research showed that interface quality of mobile sales terminal and integrity of mobile sales terminal had significant positive impacts on consumption emotion; sales promotion in mobile sales terminal had a significant positive impacts on continual intention of mobile shopping; consumption emotion had a significant positive effect on continual intention of consumers in mobile shopping; consumption emotion played a significant mediating role in the relationship between interface quality of mobile sales terminal and continual intention of mobile shopping and between integrity of mobile sales terminal and continual intention of mobile shopping. The conclusions could not only enrich the theories of mobile shopping behavior but also provide guidance for companies to carry out mobile marketing activities and allocate marketing resources rationally. Diabetic vascular complications are closely associated with long‐term vascular dysfunction and poor neovascularization. Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) play pivotal roles in maintaining vascular homeostasis and triggering angiogenesis, and EPC dysfunction contributes to defective angiogenesis and resultant diabetic vascular complications. Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) has received substantial attention as a potential therapeutic agent for diabetes via regulating glucose and lipid metabolism. However, the effects of FGF21 on diabetic vascular complications remain unclear. In the present study, the in vivo results showed that FGF21 efficiently improved blood perfusion and ischaemic angiogenesis in both type 1 and type 2 diabetic mice, and these effects were accompanied by enhanced EPC mobilization and infiltration into ischaemic muscle tissues and increases in plasma stromal cell–derived factor‐1 concentration. The in vitro results revealed that FGF21 directly prevented EPC damage induced by high glucose, and the mechanistic studies demonstrated that nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) was dramatically decreased in EPCs challenged with high glucose, whereas FGF21 treatment significantly increased NAD+ content in an AMPK‐dependent manner, resulting in improved angiogenic capability of EPCs. These results indicate that FGF21 promotes ischaemic angiogenesis and the angiogenic ability of EPCs under diabetic conditions by activating the AMPK/NAD+ pathway. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Diabetes-induced oxidative stress is one of the major contributors to dysfunction of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) and impaired endothelial regeneration. Thus, we tested whether increasing antioxidant protein metallothionein (MT) in EPCs promotes angiogenesis in a hind limb ischemia (HLI) model in endothelial MT transgenic (JTMT) mice with high-fat diet- and streptozocin-induced diabetes. Compared with littermate wild-type (WT) diabetic mice, JTMT diabetic mice had improved blood flow recovery and angiogenesis after HLI. Similarly, transplantation of JTMT bone marrow-derived mononuclear cells (BM-MNCs) stimulated greater blood flow recovery in db/db mice with HLI than did WT BM-MNCs. The improved recovery was associated with augmented EPC mobilization and angiogenic function. Further, cultured EPCs from patients with diabetes exhibited decreased MT expression, increased cell apoptosis, and impaired tube formation, while cultured JTMT EPCs had enhanced cell survival, migration, and tube formation in hypoxic/hyperglycemic conditions compared with WT EPCs. Mechanistically, MT overexpression enhanced hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α), stromal cell-derived factor (SDF-1), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression and reduced oxidative stress in ischemic tissues. MT's pro-EPC effects were abrogated by siRNA knockdown of HIF-1α without affecting its antioxidant action. These results indicate that endothelial MT overexpression is sufficient to protect against diabetes-induced impairment of angiogenesis by promoting EPC function, most likely through upregulation of HIF-1α/SDF-1/VEGF signaling and reducing oxidative stress. Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) are able to trigger angiogenesis, and pro‐inflammatory cytokines have beneficial effects on angiogenesis under physiological and pathological conditions. C‐X‐C chemokine receptor type 7 (CXCR‐7), receptor for stromal cell‐derived factor‐1, plays a critical role in enhancing EPC angiogenic function. Here, we examined whether CXCR7 mediates the pro‐angiogenic effects of the inflammatory cytokine interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β) in EPCs. EPCs were isolated by density gradient centrifugation and angiogenic capability was evaluated in vitro by Matrigel capillary formation assay and fibrin gel bead assay. IL‐1β elevated CXCR7 expression at both the transcriptional and translational levels in a dose‐ and time‐dependent manner, and blockade of the nuclear translocation of NF‐κB dramatically attenuated the IL‐1β‐mediated up‐regulation of CXCR7 expression. IL‐1β stimulation significantly promoted EPCs tube formation and this effect was largely impaired by CXCR7‐siRNA transfection. IL‐1β treatment stimulated extracellular signal‐regulated kinase 1/2 (Erk1/2) phosphorylation, and inhibition of Erk1/2 phosphorylation partially impaired IL‐1β‐induced tube formation of EPCs but without significant effects on CXCR7 expression. Moreover, blocking NF‐κB had no significant effects on IL‐1β‐stimulated Erk1/2 phosphorylation. These findings indicate that CXCR7 plays an important role in the IL‐1β‐enhanced angiogenic capability of EPCs and antagonizing CXCR7 is a potential strategy for inhibiting angiogenesis under inflammatory conditions. The Macromolecular Neutron Diffractometer (MaNDi) is located on beamline 11B of the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The instrument is a neutron time-of-flight wavelength-resolved Laue diffractometer optimized to collect diffraction data from single crystals. The instrument has been designed to provide flexibility in several instrumental parameters, such as beam divergence and wavelength bandwidth, to allow data collection from a range of macromolecular systems. Cel7A (previously known as cellobiohydrolase I) from Hypocrea jecorina was crystallized in two crystalline forms, neither of which have been previously reported. Both forms co-crystallize under the same crystallization conditions. The first crystal form belonged to space group C2, with unit-cell parameters a = 152.5, b = 44.9, c = 57.6 Å, β = 101.2°, and diffracted X-rays to 1.5 Å resolution. The second crystal form belonged to space group P6322, with unit-cell parameters a = b≃ 155, c≃ 138 Å, and diffracted X-rays to 2.5 Å resolution. The crystals were obtained using full-length Cel7A, which consists of a large 434-residue N-terminal catalytic domain capable of cleaving cellulose, a 27-residue flexible linker and a small 36-residue C-terminal carbohydrate-binding module (CBM). However, a preliminary analysis of the electron-density maps suggests that the linker and CBM are disordered in both crystal forms. Isotopic enrichment has been widely used for investigating the structural and dynamic properties of biomacromolecules to provide information that cannot be carried out with molecules composed of natural abundance isotopes. A media formulation for controlled incorporation of deuterium in bacterial cellulose synthesized by Gluconacetobacter xylinus subsp. sucrofermentans is reported. The purified cellulose was characterized using Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectrophotometry and mass spectrometry which revealed that the level of deuterium incorporation in the perdeuterated cellulose was greater than 90 %. Small-angle neutron scattering analysis demonstrated that the overall structure of the cellulose was unaffected by the substitution of deuterium for hydrogen. In addition, by varying the amount of D-glycerol in the media it was possible to vary the scattering length density of the deuterated cellulose. A large disk model was used to fit the curves of bacterial cellulose grown using 0 and 100 % D-Glycerol yielding a lower bound to the disk radii, R = 1,132 ± 6 and 1,154 ± 3 Å and disk thickness, T = 128 ± 1 and 83 ± 1 Å for the protiated and deuterated forms of the bacterial cellulose, respectively. This agrees well with the scanning electron microscopy analysis which revealed stacked sheets in the cellulose pellicles. Controlled incorporation of deuterium into cellulose will enable new types of experiments using techniques such as neutron scattering to reveal information about the structure and dynamics of cellulose and its interactions with proteins and other (bio) polymers. Diabetes mellitus associated dysfunction of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) may contribute to dysregulation of endothelial regeneration. Metallothionein (MT) acts as an antioxidant in various pathophysiological processes. Whether MT in EPCs has positive angiogenic effects and the mechanisms involved remain unclear. Endothelial MT overexpression (JTMT) mice were made diabetic by high fat diet followed by STZ administration (HFD/STZ). Diabetic hind limb ischemia model was established by femoral artery ligation. Bone marrow derived mononuclear leucocytes (MNCs) collected from JTMT mice were transplanted into db/db mice with hind limb ischemia. Blood reperfusion was monitored and oxidative stress was measured. High glucose and hypoxia conditions in culture were adopted to mimic diabetic ischemia in vitro. MT improved blood perfusion of ischemic hind limb and promoted angiogenesis in HFD/STZ diabetes. Oxidative stress of ischemic muscles was aggravated under diabetic condition, which was reduced in JTMT mice. Compared with WT mice, the expression of HIF-1α, SDF-1, VEGF and p-Akt were all increased in JTMT mice, along with elevation of plasma SDF-1α and VEGF. Moreover, transplantation of MT overexpressed MNCs showed better therapeutic effect on db/db diabetic mice with hind limb ischemia than control or transplantation of normal MNCs. Transplantation was accompanied by elevated HIF-1α, SDF-1 and Akt signaling. Vitro studies demonstrated that MT overexpression reduced high glucose and hypoxia induced EPC dysfunction and preserved high glucose and hypoxia impaired HIF-1α, SDF-1, VEGF and Akt signaling, all of which were abolished by siRNA knockdown of HIF-1α. In conclusion, elevated MT enhances angiogenic function and therapeutic efficacy of EPCs in diabetic limb ischemia.
