Implementation of clinical practice guidelines (CPG) is a complex and challenging task. Computer technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), has been explored to promote the CPG implementation. This study has reviewed the main domains where computer technology and AI has been applied to CPG implementation. PubMed, Embase, Web of science, the Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure database, WanFang DATA, VIP database, and China Biology Medicine disc database were searched from inception to December 2021. Studies involving the utilization of computer technology and AI to promote the implementation of CPGs were eligible for review. A total of 10429 published articles were identified, 117 met the inclusion criteria. 21 (17.9%) focused on the utilization of AI techniques to classify or extract the relative content of CPGs, such as recommendation sentence, condition-action sentences. 47 (40.2%) focused on the utilization of computer technology to represent guideline knowledge to make it understandable by computer. 15 (12.8%) focused on the utilization of AI techniques to verify the relative content of CPGs, such as conciliation of multiple single-disease guidelines for comorbid patients. 34 (29.1%) focused on the utilization of AI techniques to integrate guideline knowledge into different resources, such as clinical decision support systems. We conclude that the application of computer technology and AI to CPG implementation mainly concentrated on the guideline content classification and extraction, guideline knowledge representation, guideline knowledge verification, and guideline knowledge integration. The AI methods used for guideline content classification and extraction were pattern-based algorithm and machine learning. In guideline knowledge representation, guideline knowledge verification, and guideline knowledge integration, computer techniques of knowledge representation were the most used. A facile approach was developed for the synthesis of polycrystalline palladium nanoparticles (Pd NPs) by using tannic acid (TA) as green reagent and stabilizer in a 30 °C water bath. The size of Pd NPs can be tuned in a range of 10-60 nm simply by adjusting the concentration of Pd precursor. The catalytic activity and stability of the as-obtained Pd NPs toward formic acid oxidation were analyzed. It is found that these Pd NPs with different sizes exhibit size-dependent and enhanced formic acid oxidation performance compared to the commercial Pd black catalyst. It should be noted that the Pd catalysts with an average size of 24 nm demonstrate the best catalytic activity and stability among the other prepared Pd NPs, which can be ascribed to its larger electrochemical surface area (ECSA) and polycrystalline structure with defects. Abstract: Oxygen activation plays a crucial role in many important chemical reactions such as oxidation of organic compounds and oxygen reduction. For developing highly active materials for oxygen activation, herein, we report an atomically dispersed Pt on WO3 nanoplates stabilized by in situ formed amorphous H2WO4 out‐layer and the mechanism for activating molecular oxygen. Experimental and theoretical studies demonstrate that the isolated Pt atoms coordinated with oxygen atoms from [WO6] and water of H2WO4, consequently leading to optimized surface electronic configuration and strong metal–support interaction (SMSI). In exemplified reactions of butanone oxidation sensing and oxygen reduction, the atomic Pt/WO3 hybrid exhibits superior activity than those of Pt nanoclusters/WO3 and bare WO3 as well as enhanced long‐term durability. This work will provide insight into the origin of activity and stability for atomically dispersed materials, thus promoting the development of highly efficient and durable single atom‐based catalysts. In this work, the corrosion degradation of tinplate in contact with salty water is investigated by scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Experimental results indicate tin maintains at passive state during the exposure; however, pores and defects existed in tin coating leads to an exposure of carbon steel substrate to the electrolyte, in which localized corrosion tends to occur within the pore. A phenomenological model is proposed to interpret corrosion mechanism of tinplate in contact with salty food based on the proposed electrochemical equivalent circuit. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Three low-carbon dual-phase (DP) steels with almost constant martensite contents of 20vol% were produced by intercritical annealing at different heating rates and soaking temperatures. Microstructures prepared at low temperature (1043 K, FH1) with fast-heating (300 K/s) show banded ferrite/martensite structure, whereas those soaked at high temperature (1103 K, FH2) with fast heating reveal blocky martensite uniformly distributed in the fine-grained ferrite matrix. Their mechanical properties were tested under tensile conditions and compared to a slow-heated (5 K/s) reference material (SH0). The tensile tests indicate that for a given martensite volume fraction, the yield strength and total elongation values are noticeably affected by the refinement of ferrite grains and the martensite morphology. Metallographic observations reveal the formation of microvoids at the ferrite/martensite interface in the SH0 and FH2 samples, whereas microvoids nucleate via the fracture of banded martensite particles in the FH1 specimen. In addition, analyses of the work-hardening behaviors of the DP microstructures using the differential Crussard-Jaoul technique demonstrate two stages of work hardening for all samples. Thiamine pyrophosphate (TPP)-dependent enzymes are present in all domains of life, which share a cofactor with TPP. However, a comprehensive analysis of TPP-dependent enzymes from sequenced genomes has not been reported and little is known about the evolutionary dynamics of this gene family in plants. In this study, the evolutionary relationships of the TPP-dependent enzymes were investigated by using a comprehensive genome-wide phylogenetic analysis. A total of 103 plant TPP-dependent enzyme sequences were identified in 16 plant species. Phylogenetic analyses suggest that these plant TPP-dependent genes fell into three major groups, acetolactate synthase, pyruvate dehydrogenase, and 2-hydroxyphytanoyl-CoA lyase. Our results showed fewer TPP-dependent genes in plants than that in other living organisms, with many types of genes lost during evolution possibly because they do not largely influence plant function. Within the plant kingdom, seed plants have more TPP genes compared to non-seed basal plants, which probably imply that seed plants developed more TPP genes to adapt to their environment. Objective: To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Gandou Tablet I in treating hepatolenticular degeneration (HLD) and its effect on urinary trace element in 24 hours. Methods: Thirtyfour patients with HLD took Gandou Tablet I for 4 weeks, their changes of symptoms, signs and daily life pattern were observed closely, and the levels of urinary trace element in 24 hours before the therapy and every week after initiation of treatment were measured. Results: The total effective rate reached 70.59%, with markedly effective rate being 8.82%. The therapeutic effect was much better in the child and mild patients. After treatment, the daily urinary copper output was obviously increased every week compared with that before ( P< 0.01). Although it was highly negative linear correlated with the duration of treatment (γ= -0.96, P< 0.05), it has insignificant difference between any two weekly excretion of urinary copper per 24 hours after treatment ( P<0.05). So its effect on urinary copper excretion was not decreased. Conclusion: Gandou Tablet I could increase the output of urinary copper, hence it was effective in treating HLD without apparent toxic or side reaction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to solve the neutral-point voltage unbalancing problem for neutral-point clamped (NPC) three-level inverters under non-ideal grid conditions, a novel zero-sequence component injection method for modulation signals was proposed in this paper. Based on the mathematical expressions of neutral-point voltage unbalancing, the fluctuation of the neutral-point voltage under different grid conditions was studied. The proposed method dynamically calculates the zero-sequence component for modulation signals by region selections based on sinusoidal pulse width modulation (DCR-SPWM). Under non-ideal grid conditions, this DCR-SPWM method can control the neutral-point voltage balance for NPC three-level inverters with different grid and output power conditions, and improves the grid current quality. The simulation results verified the correctness of the theoretical analysis in this paper, and the feasibility and effectiveness of this method were verified by the experiments in the experimental platform of the NPC three-level grid-connected inverter based on DSP-CPLD controllers.
