Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 7-month-old female American Eskimo dog that was taken to the San Diego County Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory with a 24-hour history of listlessness before death due to brodifacoum poisoning. Necropsy showed that the dog's oral mucosa is white while its cranial mediastinum became distended due to hemorrhage. It also notes that the dog died of cystic thymic degeneration with pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia.
