Abstract

The article discusses one alternative in transporting natural gas known as compressed natural gas (CNG) technology. Natural gas is distributed nationwide through network of pipelines. However, a problem in transportation of natural gas occurs when transportation distance increases. Accordingly, CNG technology is designed to address the problem in transporting and monetizing stranded natural gas.

Abstract

The article presents updates on the price fluctuations of the natural gas (NG) market worldwide. Experts believe that these fluctuations are not caused by the price. However, the main issue is on the supply side of the industry. Even a small supply side change in an industry is amplified by the market. Thus, market psychology of the situation entails that the price fluctuations of the industry is a function of the cost of bringing in new NG supplies on line.
