Unilateral auditory deprivation (UAD) results in cross-modal reorganization of the auditory cortex (AC), which can impair auditory and cognitive functions and diminish the recovery effect of cochlear implantation. Moreover, the subcortical areas provide extensive ascending projections to the AC. To date, a thorough systematic study of subcortical auditory neural plasticity has not been undertaken. Therefore, this review aims to summarize the current evidence on the bidirectional remodeling of the central auditory system caused by UAD, particularly the changes in subcortical neural plasticity. Lateral changes occur in the cochlear nucleus, lateral superior olive, medial nucleus of the trapezoid body, inferior colliculus, and AC of individuals with UAD. Moreover, asymmetric neural activity becomes less prominent in the higher auditory nuclei, which may be due to cross-projection regulation of the bilateral pathway. As a result, subcortical auditory neural plasticity caused by UAD may contribute to the outcomes of cochlear implantation in patients with single-sided deafness (SSD), and the development of intervention strategies for patients with SSD is crucial. Considering that previous studies have focused predominantly on the neural plasticity of the AC, we believe that bidirectional remodeling of subcortical areas after UAD is also crucial for investigating the mechanisms of interventions. Purpose: This study aimed to develop and validate a radiogenomics nomogram for predicting microvascular invasion (MVI) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) on the basis of MRI and microRNAs (miRNAs). Materials and Methods: This cohort study included 168 patients (training cohort: n =116; validationcohort:n=52)withpathologically confirmed HCC, who underwent preoperative MRI and plasma miRNA examination. Univariate and multivariate logistic regressions were used to identify independent risk factors associated with MVI. These risk factors were used to produce a nomogram. The performance of the nomogram was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) analysis, sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and F1-score. Decision curve analysis was performed to determine whether the nomogram was clinically useful. Results: The independent risk factors for MVI were maximum tumor length, radscore, and miRNA-21 (all P < 0.001). The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and F1-score of the nomogram in the validation cohort were 0.970, 0.722, 0.884, and 0.916, respectively. The AUC of the nomogram was 0.900 (95% CI: 0.808-0.992) in the validation cohort, higher than that of anyother single factormodel (maximumtumor length, rad-score, and miRNA-21). Conclusion: The radiogenomics nomogram shows satisfactory predictive performance in predicting MVI in HCC and provides a feasible and practical reference for tumor treatment decisions. In this study, we have identified compound BF170 hydrochloride as a previously unreported pro-hematopoiesis molecule, using the differentiation assays of primary zebrafish blastomere cell culture and mouse embryoid bodies (EBs), and we demonstrate that BF170 hydrochloride promoted definitive hematopoiesis in vivo. During zebrafish definitive hematopoiesis, BF170 hydrochloride increases blood flow, expands hemogenic endothelium (HE) cells and promotes HSPC emergence. Mechanistically, the primary cilia-Ca2+-Notch/NO signaling pathway, which is downstream of the blood flow, mediated the effects of BF170 hydrochloride on HSPC induction in vivo. With the widespread application of energy storage stations, BMS has become an important subsystem in modern power systems, leading to an increasing demand for improving the accuracy of SOC prediction in lithium-ion battery energy storage systems. Currently, common methods for predicting battery SOC include the Ampere-hour integration method, open circuit voltage method, and model-based prediction techniques. However, these methods often have limitations such as single-variable research, complex model construction, and inability to capture real-time changes in SOC. In this paper, a novel prediction method based on the KF-SA-Transformer model is proposed by combining model-based prediction techniques with data-driven methods. By using temperature, voltage, and current as inputs, the limitations of single-variable studies in the Ampere-hour integration method and open circuit voltage method are overcome. The Transformer model can overcome the complex modeling process in model-based prediction techniques by implementing a non-linear mapping between inputs and SOC. The presence of the Kalman filter can eliminate noise and improve data accuracy. Additionally, a sparse autoencoder mechanism is integrated to optimize the position encoding embedding of input vectors, further improving the prediction process. To verify the effectiveness of the algorithm in predicting battery SOC, an open-source lithium- ion battery dataset was used as a case study in this paper. The results show that the proposed KF-SA-Transformer model has superiority in improving the accuracy and reliability of battery SOC prediction, playing an important role in the stability of the grid and efficient energy allocation. Epilepsy is a common chronic brain disorder. Detecting epilepsy by observing electroencephalography (EEG) is the main method neurologists use, but this method is time-consuming. EEG signals are non-stationary, nonlinear, and often highly noisy, so it remains challenging to recognize epileptic EEG signals more accurately and automatically. This paper proposes a novel classification system of epileptic EEG signals for single-channel EEG based on the attention network that integrates time-frequency and nonlinear dynamic features. The proposed system has three novel modules. The first module constructs the Hilbert spectrum (HS) with high time-frequency resolution into a two-channel parallel convolutional network. The time-frequency features are fully extracted by complementing the high-dimensional features of the two branches. The second module constructs a grayscale recurrence plot (GRP) that contains more nonlinear dynamic features than traditional RP, fed into the residual-connected convolution module for effective learning of nonlinear dynamic features. The third module is the feature fusion module based on a self-attention mechanism to assign optimal weights to different types of features and further enhance the information extraction capability of the system. Therefore, the system is named HG-SANet. The results of several classification tasks on the Bonn EEG database and the Bern-Barcelona EEG database show that the HG-SANet can effectively capture the contribution degree of the extracted features from different domains, significantly enhance the expression ability of the model, and improve the accuracy of the recognition of epileptic EEG signals. Introduction: Microstate analysis enables the characterization of quasi-stable scalp potential fields on a sub-second timescale, preserving the temporal dynamics of EEG and spatial information of scalp potential distributions. Owing to its capacity to provide comprehensive pathological insights, it has been widely applied in the investigation of schizophrenia (SCZ). Nevertheless, previous research has primarily concentrated on differences in individual microstate temporal characteristics, neglecting potential distinctions inmicrostate semantic sequences and not fully considering the issue of the universality of microstate templates between SCZ patients and healthy individuals. Methods: This study introduced a microstate semantic modeling analysis method aimed at schizophrenia recognition. Firstly, microstate templates corresponding to both SCZ patients and healthy individuals were extracted from resting-state EEG data. The introduction of a dual-template strategy makes a difference in the quality of microstate sequences. Quality features of microstate sequences were then extracted from four dimensions: Correlation, Explanation, Residual, and Dispersion. Subsequently, the concept of microstate semantic features was proposed, decomposing the microstate sequence into continuous sub-sequences. Specific semantic sub-sequences were identified by comparing the time parameters of sub-sequences. Results: The SCZ recognition test was performed on the public dataset for both the quality features and semantic features of microstate sequences, yielding an impressive accuracy of 97.2%. Furthermore, cross-subject experimental validation was conducted, demonstrating that themethod proposed in this paper achieves a recognition rate of 96.4% between different subjects. Discussion: This research offers valuable insights for the clinical diagnosis of schizophrenia. We analyzed the clinical characteristics of outpatients with influenza-B-associated pneumonia during the 2021–2022 influenza season and analyzed the molecular epidemiology and evolution of influenza B virus. The presence of influenza B virus was confirmed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Electronic medical records were used to collect and analyze data of outpatients. The HA and NA genes were phylogenetically analyzed using ClustalW 2.10 and MEGA 11.0. Out of 1569 outpatients who tested positive for influenza B virus, 11.7% (184/1569) developed pneumonia, and of these, 19.0% (35/184) had underlying diseases. Fever, cough, and sore throat were the most common symptoms. Among the complications, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), acute kidney injury (AKI), and shock accounted for 2.7% (5/184), 4.9% (9/184), and 1.6% (3/184), respectively. Of the outpatients, 2.7% (5/184) were admitted to the hospital, and 0.5% (1/184) of them died. All of the strains from Beijing were identified as belonging to the B/Victoria lineage. The HA and NA gene sequences of 41 influenza B viruses showed high similarity to each other, and all of them belonged to clade 1A.3. Compared with the vaccine strain B/Washington/02/2019, all of the isolates contained N150K, G181E, and S194D mutations. S194D, E195K, and K200R mutations were detected in the 190 helix of the receptor binding region of HA. Co-mutations of H122Q, A127T, P144L, N150K, G181E, S194D, and K200R in HA and D53N, N59S, and G233E in NA were detected in 78.0% (32/41) of the isolates, and 56.3% (18/32) of these were from outpatients with influenza-B-associated pneumonia. Influenza outpatients with underlying diseases were more likely to develop pneumonia. No significant differences were observed in clinical symptoms or laboratory results between outpatients with and without pneumonia, so testing for influenza virus seems to be a good choice. Lost circulation is a common downhole problem of drilling in geothermal and high-temperature, highpressure (HTHP) formations. Lost circulation material (LCM) is a regular preventive and remedial measure for lost circulation. However, conventional LCMs seem ineffective in high-temperature formations. This may be due to the changes in the mechanical properties of LCMs and their sealing performance under high-temperature conditions. To understand how high temperature affects the fracture sealing performance of LCMs, we developed a coupled computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method (CFD-DEM) model to simulate the behavior of granular LCMs in fractures. We summarized the literature on the effects of high temperature on the mechanical properties of LCMs and the rheological properties of drilling fluid. We conducted sensitivity analyses to investigate how changing LCM slurry properties affected the fracture sealing efficiency at increasing temperatures. The results show that high temperature reduces the size, strength, and friction coefficient of LCMs as well as the drilling fluid viscosity. Smaller, softer, and less frictional LCM particles have lower bridging probability and slower bridging initiation. Smaller particles tend to form dual-particle bridges rather than single-particle bridges. These result in a deeper, tighter, but unstable sealing zone. Introduction: Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a leading cause of worldwide disability, and standard clinical treatments have limitations due to the absence of neurological evidence. Electroencephalography (EEG) monitoring is an effective method for recording neural activities and can provide electroneurophysiological evidence of MDD. Methods: In this work, we proposed a probabilistic graphical model for neural dynamics decoding on MDD patients and healthy controls (HC), utilizing the Hidden Markov Model with Multivariate Autoregressive observation (HMM-MAR). We testified the model on the MODMA dataset, which contains resting-state and task-state EEG data from 53 participants, including 24 individuals with MDD and 29 HC. Results: The experimental results suggest that the state time courses generated by the proposed model could regress the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ9) score of the participants and reveal differences between the MDD and HC groups. Meanwhile, the Markov property was observed in the neuronal dynamics of participants presented with sad face stimuli. Coherence analysis and power spectrum estimation demonstrate consistent results with the previous studies on MDD. Discussion: In conclusion, the proposed HMM-MAR model has revealed its potential capability to capture the neuronal dynamics from EEG signals and interpret brain disease pathogenesis from the perspective of state transition. Compared with the previous machine-learning or deep-learning-based studies, which regarded the decoding model as a black box, this work has its superiority in the spatiotemporal pattern interpretability by utilizing the Hidden Markov Model. Background: Influenza A viruses have undergone rapid evolution with virulent; however, complete and comprehensive data on gene evolution and amino acid variation of HA and NA in immunosuppressed patients was few. In this study, we analysed molecular epidemiology and evolution of influenza A viruses in immunosuppressed population, and immunocompetent population were used as controls. Methods: Full sequences of HA and NA of A(H1N1)pdm09 and A(H3N2) were acquired through reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). HA and NA genes were sequenced using the Sanger method and phylogenetically analysed using ClustalW 2.10 and MEGA software version 11.0. Results: During the 2018–2020 influenza seasons, 54 immunosuppressed and 46 immunocompetent inpatients screened positive for influenza A viruses by using the quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) were enrolled. 27 immunosuppressed and 23 immunocompetent nasal swab or bronchoalveolar lavage fluid samples were randomly selected and sequenced using the Sanger method. A(H1N1)pdm09 were detected in 15 samples and the remaining 35 samples were A(H3N2) positive. By analyzing the HA and NA gene sequences of these virus strains, we found that all A(H1N1)pdm09 viruses shared high similarities to each other and the HA and NA genes of these viruses exclusively belonged to subclade 6B.1A.1. Some NA genes of A(H3N2) viruses were not in the same clade as those of A/Singapore/INFIMH-16-0019/2016 and A/Kansas/14/2017, which may have led to A(H3N2) being the dominant strain in the 2019–2020 influenza season. Both A(H1N1)pdm09 and A(H3N2) viruses showed similar evolutionary lineages patterns of HA and NA between immunosuppressed and immunocompetent patients. Compared with the vaccine strains, there were no statistically significant of HA and NA genes and amino acid sequences of influenza A viruses in immunosuppressed and immunocompetent patients. However, the oseltamivir resistance substitution of NA-H275Y and R292K have been observed in immunosuppressed patients. Conclusions: A(H1N1)pdm09 and A(H3N2) viruses showed similar evolutionary lineages patterns of HA and NA between immunosuppressed and immunocompetent patients. Background: Idiopathic sudden hearing loss (ISHL) is characterized by sudden unexplainable and unilateral hearing loss as a clinically emergent symptom. The use of the herb Erlongjiaonang (ELJN) in traditional Chinese medicine is known to effectively control and cure ISHL. This study explored the underlying molecular mechanisms using network pharmacology and molecular docking analyses. Method: The Traditional Chinese Medicine System Pharmacological database and the Swiss Target Prediction database were searched for the identification of ELJN constituents and potential gene targets, respectively, while ISHL-related gene abnormality was assessed using the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man and Gene Card databases. The interaction of ELJN gene targets with ISHL genes was obtained after these databases were cross-screened, and a drug component-intersecting target network was constructed, and the gene ontology (GO) terms, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes, and protein-protein interaction networks were analyzed. Cytoscape software tools were used to map the active components-crossover target-signaling pathway network and screened targets were then validated by establishing molecular docking with the corresponding components. Result: Erlongjiaonang contains 85 components and 250 corresponding gene targets, while ISHL has 714 disease-related targets, resulting in 66 crosstargets. The bioinformatical analyses revealed these 66 cross-targets, including isorhamnetin and formononetin on NOS3 expression, baicalein on AKT1 activity, and kaempferol and quercetin on NOS3 and AKT1 activity, as potential ELJNinduced anti-ISHL targets. Conclusion: This study uncovered potential ELJN gene targets and molecular signaling pathways in the control of ISHL, providing a molecular basis for further investigation of the anti-ISHL activity of ELJN. Grassland canopy height is a crucial trait for indicating functional diversity or monitoring species diversity. Compared with traditional field sampling, light detection and ranging (LiDAR) provides new technology for mapping the regional grassland canopy height in a time-saving and cost-effective way. However, the grassland canopy height based on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) LiDAR is usually underestimated with height information loss due to the complex structure of grassland and the relatively small size of individual plants. We developed canopy height correction methods based on scan angle to improve the accuracy of height estimation by compensating the loss of grassland height. Our method established the relationships between scan angle and two height loss indicators (height loss and height loss ratio) using the ground-measured canopy height of sample plots with 1×1m and LiDARderived heigh. We found that the height loss ratio considering the plant own height had a better performance (R² = 0.71). We further compared the relationships between scan angle and height loss ratio according to holistic (25–65cm) and segmented (25–40cm, 40–50cm and 50–65cm) height ranges, and applied to correct the estimated grassland canopy height, respectively. Our results showed that the accuracy of grassland height estimation based on UAV LiDAR was significantly improved with R² from 0.23 to 0.68 for holistic correction and from 0.23 to 0.82 for segmented correction. We highlight the importance of considering the effects of scan angle in LiDAR data preprocessing for estimating grassland canopy height with high accuracy, which also help for monitoring height-related grassland structural and functional parameters by remote sensing. Constipation is a common gastrointestinal symptom characterized by intestinal motility disorder. The effects of Platycodon grandiflorum polysaccharides (PGP) on intestinal motility have not been confirmed. We established a rat model of constipation induced by loperamide hydrochloride to elucidate the therapeutic effect of PGP on intestinal motility disorder and to explore the possible mechanism. After PGP treatment (400 and 800 mg/kg) for 21 d, PGP clearly relieved gastrointestinal motility, including fecal water content, gastric emptying rate, and intestinal transit rate. Moreover, the secretion of motility-related hormones, gastrin and motilin, were increased. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence results confirmed that PGP significantly increased the secretion of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and the expression of related proteins, such as tryptophan hydroxylase 1, 5-HT4 receptor, and transient receptor potential ankyrin 1. 16S rRNA gene sequencing showed that PGP significantly increased the relative abundance of Roseburia, Butyricimonas, and Ruminiclostridium, which were positively correlated with 5-HT levels. However, the relative abundance of Clostridia_UCG-014, Lactobacillus, and Enterococcus were decreased. PGP improved intestinal transport by regulating the levels of 5-HT, which interacts with the gut microbiota and the intestinal neuro-endocrine system, further affecting constipation. Herbaceous peony (Paeonia lactiflora Pall.), as a high-end cut flower in the international market, has high ornamental and medicinal values. But in Northern China, drought is a major environmental factor influencing the growth and development of P. lactiflora. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) can evaluate gene expression levels under different stress conditions, and stable internal reference is the key for qRT-PCR. At present, there is no systematic screening of internal reference for correcting gene expressions of P. lactiflora in response to drought stress. In this study, 10 candidate genes [ubiquitin (UBQ2), UBQ1, elongation factor 1-α (EF-1α), Histidine (His), eukaryotic initiation factor (eIF), tubulin (TUB), actin (ACT), UBQ3, ACT2, RNA polymerase II (RNA Pol II)] were chosen, and 4 analysis methods were used to compare the stabilities for these 10 genes coping with drought stress. Due to the difference of operation methods, the results of different analysis were distinct, and the final comprehensive analysis indicated that EF-1α was a relatively stable internal reference gene for P. lactiflora under drought stress. Also, UBQ1 and UBQ2 were the best reference gene combination according to GeNorm analysis. This study will lay a foundation for screening the key genes of P. lactiflora in response to drought stress. Background: This systematic review aims to explore the prevalence of the impact of the COVID-19, MERS, and SARS pandemics on the mental health of pregnant women. Methods: All COVID-19, SARS and MERS studies that evaluated the mental health of pregnant women with/without gynaecological conditions that were reported in English between December 2000 – July 2021 were included. The search criteria were developed based upon the research question using PubMed, Science Direct, Ovid PsycINFO and EMBASE databases. A wide search criterion was used to ensure the inclusion of all pregnant women with existing gynaecological conditions. The Newcastle-Ottawa-Scale was used to assess the risk of bias for all included studies. Random effects model with restricted maximum-likelihood estimation method was applied for the meta-analysis and I-square statistic was used to evaluate heterogeneity across studies. The pooled prevalence rates of symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, and sleep disorders with 95% confidence interval (CI) were computed. Results: This systematic review identified 217 studies which included 638,889 pregnant women or women who had just given birth. There were no studies reporting the mental health impact due to MERS and SARS. Results showed that women who were pregnant or had just given birth displayed various symptoms of poor mental health including those relating to depression (24.9%), anxiety (32.8%), stress (29.44%), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) (27.93%), and sleep disorders (24.38%) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Discussion: It is important to note that studies included in this review used a range of outcome measures which does not allow for direct comparisons between findings. Most studies reported self-reported measure of symptoms without clinical diagnoses so conclusions can be made for symptom prevalence rather than of mental illness. The importance of managing mental health during pregnancy and after-delivery improves the quality of life and wellbeing of mothers hence developing an evidence-based approached as part of pandemic preparedness would improve mental health during challenging times. Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between Oxford Classification scores and longitudinal changes in proteinuria in patients with immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN). Methods: The study was a single-center retrospective cohort study involving 358 patients with primary IgAN who were treated at the Shenzhen Second People's Hospital, China, between January 2011 and May 2021. Multivariate linear regression and generalized additive mixed models (GAMMs), adjusted for traditional risk confounders, were used to evaluate the correlation between scores for mesangial hypercellularity (M), endocapillary hypercellularity (E), segmental glomerulosclerosis (S), tubular atrophy/interstitial fibrosis (T), and crescents (C) (known as the Oxford Classification MEST-C score system), with proteinuria/creatinine ratio (PCR) at the time of renal biopsy and longitudinal changes in PCR, respectively. Results: The median PCR was 1061 mg/g, and it increased on average by 68.82 mg/g per year in these patients. Among patients with renal insufficiency, compared with patients without relative lesions, those with E present (E1) (1153.44; 95% confidence interval [CI], 188.99-2117.89 mg/g) and C > 0 (C1/2) (1063.58; 95% CI, 185.25-1941.90 mg/g) were associated with increased PCR levels at the time of renal biopsy. What's more, S present (S1) (194.96; 95% CI, 54.50-335.43 mg/g per year) was associated with the fastest PCR increase; C > 0 (C1/2) (147.59; 95% CI, 8.32-286.86 mg/g per year) and T >25% (T1/2) (77.04; 95% CI, 7.18-146.89 mg/g per year), were also correlated with a faster PCR increase. In patients with normal kidney function, associations between S1 (55.46; 95% CI, 8.93-101.99 mg/g per year) and E1 (94.02; 95% CI, 21.47-166.58 mg/g per year) and PCR change could be observed. Additionally, in patients with overweight/obesity, S1 (156.09; 95% CI, 52.41-259.77 mg/g per year), E1 (143.34; 95% CI, 35.30-251.38 mg/g per year), T1/2 (116.04; 95% CI, 22.58-209.51 mg/g per year), as well as C1/2 (134.03; 95% CI, 41.73-226.32 mg/g per year) were associated with noticeably quicker PCR increase. Conclusions: Overall, E1 and C1/2 were independently associated with raised proteinuria levels at the time of renal biopsy, and S1, E1, T1/2, C1/2 were independently associated with a longitudinal increase in proteinuria in the patients with IgAN, especially in those with renal insufficiency or overweight/obesity, suggesting that currently available treatments might not be satisfactory, and weight control might be beneficial. Sweet potato is a typical “potassium (K)-favoring” food crop and strongly dependent on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). Recent studies show the importance of K and AMF to morphology optimization and nutrient uptake regulation of sweet potato; meanwhile, the interaction exists between K and K use efficiency (KIUE) in sweet potato. To date, only a few studies have shown that AMF can improve plant K nutrition, and whether the benefits conferred by AMF on plant are related to K remains unclear. In this study, low-KIUE genotype “N1” and high-KIUE genotype “Xu28” were used as experimental sweet potato; Funneliformis mosseae (FM) and Claroideoglomus etunicatum (CE) were used as experimental AMF. In a pot experiment, plants “N1” and “Xu28” were inoculated with FM or CE, and applied with or without K fertilizer to uncover the effects of K application and AMF inoculation on the root morphology and nutrient absorption of sweet potato during their growing period. Results demonstrated that AMF inoculation-improved root morphology of sweet potato highly relied on K application. With K application, AMF inoculation significantly increased root tip number of “N1” in the swelling stage and optimized multiple root morphological indexes (total root length, root surface area, root volume, root diameter, root branch number, and root tip number) of “Xu28” and CE had the best optimization effect on the root morphology of “Xu28”. In addition, CE inoculation significantly promoted root dry matter accumulation of “Xu28” in the swelling and harvesting stages, coordinated aerial part and root growth of “Xu28”, reduced the dry matter to leaf and petiole, and was beneficial to dry matter allocation to the root under conditions of K supply. Another promising finding was that CE inoculation could limit K allocation to the aboveground and promote root K accumulation of “Xu28” under the condition with K application. The above results lead to the conclusion that K and CE displayed a synergistic effect on root development and K acquisition of high-KIUE “Xu28”. This study could provide a theoretical basis for more scientific application of AMF in sweet potato cultivation and will help further clarify the outcomes of plant-K–AMF interactions. Background: Relying solely on radiata pine (Pinus radiata D.Don) leaves New Zealand's plantation forest industry vulnerable to fluctuations in market demand and at risk from a potentially devastating pest or disease outbreak. Therefore, the New Zealand government and forestry industry urge to diversify the forest resource and wood supply beyond the reliance on radiata pine. Unfortunately, the lack of accurate information on minor species' area, composition, and location poses challenges to forecasting potential log supply and logistics planning. Methods: The objective of this study is to classify minor species in New Zealand using imagery and phenological features extracted from data collected by the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellite. The study collected reference data of minor species from large-scale forest owners and applied Random Forest classification using Sentinel-2 imagery to classify nine minor species classes in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand. Results: The study achieved an overall classification accuracy of 92.2% for minor species in New Zealand's Hawke's Bay region. Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Franco) and Eucalyptus species had the highest accuracies, exceeding 90% for both producer's and user's accuracies. Acacia, larch, and other mixed species had lower accuracies, likely due to their lower occurrence. The most important input variable for classification was the Digital Elevation Model, indicating the significance of elevation in differentiating plantation species. The Greenness Index (GI) and Red edge bands also proved useful in the classification. The phenological measure Mean-EVI2 was found useful in classifying deciduous species such as larch and poplar. Conclusions: To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first to map the spatial extent and distribution of minor plantation species in New Zealand at the regional level, providing promising results for potentially expanding the study to national-level species mapping. Accurate and rapid identification of apple leaf diseases is the basis for preventing and treating apple diseases. However, it is challenging to identify apple leaf diseases due to their various symptoms, different colors, irregular shapes, uneven sizes, and complex backgrounds. To reduce computational cost and improve training results, a dilated convolution capsule network (DCCapsNet) is constructed for apple leaf disease identification based on a capsule network (CapsNet) and two dilated Inception modules with different dilation rates. The network can obtain multi-scale deep-level features to improve the classification capability of the model. The dynamic routing algorithm is used between the front and back layers of CapsNet to make the model converge quickly. In DCCapsNet, dilated Inception instead of traditional convolution is used to increase the convolution receptive fields and extract multi-scale features from disease leaf images, and CapsNet is used to capture the classification features of changeable disease leaves and overcome the overfitting problem in the training network. Extensive experiment results on the apple disease leaf image dataset demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively identify apple diseases. Iron deficiency has detrimental effects in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), which is a common nutritional disorder and inflammationrelated disease affects up to one-third people worldwide. However, the specific role of iron metabolism in ACS progression is opaque. In this study, we construct an iron metabolism-related genes (IMRGs) based molecular signature of ACS and to identify novel iron metabolism gene markers for early stage of ACS. The IMRGs were mainly collected from Molecular Signatures Database (mSigDB) and two relevant studies. Two blood transcriptome datasets GSE61144 and GSE60993 were used for constructing the prediction model of ACS. After differential analysis, 22 IMRGs were differentially expressed and defined as DEIGs in the training set. Then, the 22 DEIGs were trained by the Elastic Net to build the prediction model. Five genes, PADI4, HLA-DQA1, LCN2, CD7, and VNN1, were determined using multiple Elastic Net calculations and retained to obtain the optimal performance. Finally, the generated model iron metabolism-related gene signature (imSig) was assessed by the validation set GSE60993 using a series of evaluation measurements. Compared with other machine learning methods, the performance of imSig using Elastic Net was superior in the validation set. Elastic Net consistently scores the higher than Lasso and Logistic regression in the validation set in terms of ROC, PRC, Sensitivity, and Specificity. As an economically important fish, Opsariichthys bidens has obvious sexual dimorphism and strong reproductive capacity, but no epigenetics study can well explain its phenotypic variations. In recent years, many microRNAs involved in the regulation of reproductive development have been explored. In this study, the small RNA libraries of O. bidens on the testis and ovary were constructed and sequenced. A total of 295 known miRNAs were obtained and 100 novel miRNAs were predicted. By comparing testis and ovary libraries, 115 differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs were selected, of which 53 were up-regulated and 62 were down-regulated. A total of 64 GO items (padj < 0.01) and 206 KEGG pathways (padj < 0.01) were enriched in the target gene of miRNA. After that, the expression levels of nine DE miRNAs, including let-7a, miR-146b, miR-18c, miR-202-5p, miR-135c, miR-9-5p, miR-34c-3p, miR-460-5p and miR-338 were verified by qRT-PCR. Furthermore, bidirectional prediction of DE miRNAs and sex-related genes was carried out and the targeting correlation between miR-9-5p and nanos1 was verified by Dual-Luciferase reporter assay. Our findings identified the differentially expressed miRNA and paved the way to new possibilities for the follow-up study on the mechanism of miRNA-mRNA interaction in the gonads of O. bidens. Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common aggressive lymphoma with an increased tendency to relapse or refractoriness. RAB39B, a member of the Ras-oncogene superfamily, is associated with a variety of tumors. Nevertheless, the role of RAB39B in DLBCL is still unknown. This study aimed to identify the role of RAB39B in DLBCL using integrated bioinformatics analysis. Methods: RAB39B expression data were examined using TIMER, UCSC, and GEO databases. The LinkedOmics database was used to study the genes and signaling pathways related to RAB39B expression. A Protein-protein interaction network was performed in STRING. TIMER was used to analyze the correlation between RAB39B and infiltrating immune cells. The correlation between RAB39B and m6A-related genes in DLBCL was analyzed using TCGA data. The RAB39B ceRNA network was constructed based on starBase and miRNet2.0 databases. Drug sensitivity information was obtained from the GSCA database. Results: RAB39B was highly expressed in multiple tumors including DLBCL. The protein-protein interaction network showed enrichment of autophagy and RAS family proteins. Functional enrichment analysis of RAB39B co-expression genes revealed that RAB39B was closely related to DNA replication, protein synthesis, cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, JAK-STAT signaling pathway, NF-kappa B signaling pathway, and autophagy. Immune infiltrate analysis showed that the amount of RAB39B was negatively correlated with iDC, Tem, and CD8 T-cell infiltration. CD4+ T cell and DC were negatively correlated with CNV of RAB39B. DLBCL cohort analysis found that RAB39B expression was related to 14 m6A modifier genes, including YTHDC1, YTHDC2, YTHDF1, YTHDF2, YTHDF3, RBMX, ZC3H13, METTL14, METTL3, RBM15, RBM15B, VIRMA, FTO, and ALKBH5. We constructed 14 possible ceRNA networks of RAB39B in DLBCL. The RAB39B expression was associated with decreased sensitivity of chemotherapy drugs such as dexamethasone, doxorubicin, etoposide, vincristine, and cytarabine and poor overall survival in DLBCL. In vitro experiments showed that RAB39B was associated with proliferation, apoptosis, and drug sensitivity of DLBCL cells. Conclusion: RAB39B is abnormally elevated and related to drug resistance and poor OS in DLBCL, which may be due to its involvement in immune infiltration, m6A modification, and regulation by multiple non-coding RNAs. The definition of relatively stable expressed internal reference genes is essential in both traditional blotting quantification and as a modern data quantitative strategy. Appropriate internal reference genes can accurately standardize the expression abundance of target genes to avoid serious experimental errors. In this study, the expression profiles of ten candidate genes, ACT1, ACT2, GAPDH, eIF1, eIF2, a-TUB, ß-TUB, TBP, RNA Pol II and RP II, were calculated for a suitable reference gene selection in Paeonia ostii T. Hong et J. X. Zhang leaves under various drought stress conditions. Data were processed by the four regularly used evaluation software. A comprehensive analysis revealed that RNA Pol II was the most stable gene and eIF2 was the least stable one. In addition, the geNorm program provided the optimal choice of two reference gene combination, RNA Pol II and ß-TUB, for qRT-PCR normalization in P. ostii subjected to different drought stress levels. Many concrete dams seriously suffer from long-term seepage dissolution, and the induced mechanical property deterioration of concrete may significantly affect the structural performance, especially the seismic safety. An approach is presented in this paper to quantify the influence of seepage dissolution on seismic performance of concrete dams. To connect laboratory test with numerical simulation, dissolution tests are conducted for concrete specimens and using the cumulative relative leached calcium as an aging index, a deterioration model is established to predict the mechanical property of leached concrete in the first step. A coupled seepage-calcium dissolutionmigrationmodel containing two calculation modes is proposed to simulate the spatially non-uniformdeterioration of concrete dams. Based on the simulated state of a roller compacted concrete dam subjected to 100 years of seepage dissolution, seismic responses of the damare subsequently analyzed. During which the nonlinear cracking of concrete, the radiation damping of the far-field foundation is considered. Research results show that seepage dissolution will seriously weaken the seismic safety of concrete dams because of the dissolution-induced decrease of effective thickness of the dam body. The upstream surface, dam toe and gallery wall suffer from a large degree of dissolution, whereas it is minimal and basically the same inside the dam body, at a degree of 0.19% within 100 years. The horizontal displacements of dam crest under the design static load and fortification against earthquake increase by 6.9% and 21.9%, respectively, and the dissolution-induced seismic cracking leads to the failure of dam anti-seepage system. Syndrome differentiation is the core diagnosis method of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We propose a method that simulates syndrome differentiation through deductive reasoning on a knowledge graph to achieve automated diagnosis in TCM. We analyze the reasoning path patterns from symptom to syndromes on the knowledge graph. There are two kinds of path patterns in the knowledge graph: one-hop and two-hop. The one-hop path pattern maps the symptom to syndromes immediately. The two-hop path pattern maps the symptom to syndromes through the nature of disease, etiology, and pathomechanism to support the diagnostic reasoning. Considering the different support strengths for the knowledge paths in reasoning, we design a dynamic weight mechanism. We utilize Naïve Bayes and TF-IDF to implement the reasoning method and the weighted score calculation. The proposed method reasons the syndrome results by calculating the possibility according to the weighted score of the path in the knowledge graph based on the reasoning path patterns. We evaluate the method with clinical records and clinical practice in hospitals. The preliminary results suggest that the method achieves high performance and can help TCM doctors make better diagnosis decisions in practice. Meanwhile, the method is robust and explainable under the guide of the knowledge graph. Background: Although effective vaccines have been developed against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the level of neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) induced after vaccination in the real world is still unknown. The aim of this work was to evaluate the level and persistence of NAbs induced by two inactivated COVID-19 vaccines in China. Methods: Serum samples were collected from 1,335 people aged 18 years and over who were vaccinated with an inactivated COVID-19 vaccine at Peking University People's Hospital from January 19 to June 23, 2021, for the detection of anti-severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) antibodies. Results: The positive rate for NAbs against SARS-CoV-2 was 79–91% from the first month to the second month after the second vaccine dose. The gradual decline in positivity rate for NAb response was observed from 78% at 3 months post-vaccination to 0% at 12 months post-vaccination. When there was a 21-day interval between the two doses of vaccine, the NAb positivity rate was 0% 6 months after the second dose. NAb levels were significantly higher when the interval between two doses were 3–8 weeks than when it was 0–3 weeks (χ2 = 14.04, p < 0.001). There was a linear correlation between NAbs and IgG antibodies in 1,335 vaccinated patients. NAb levels decreased in 31 patients (81.6%) and increased in 7 patients (18.4%) over time in the series of 38 patients after the second vaccination. The NAb positivity rate was significantly higher in 18- to 40-year-old subjects than in 41- to 60-year-old subjects (t = − 1. 959 , p < 0. 01 ; t = 0. 839 , p < 0. 01). Conclusion: The NAb positivity rate was the highest at the first and second month after the second dose of vaccine, and gradually decreased over time. With a 21-day interval between two doses of vaccine, neutralizing antibody levels persisted for only 6 months after the second dose of vaccine. Therefore, a third vaccine dose is recommended. Our results suggest that in cases in which NAbs cannot be detected, IgM/IgG antibodies can be detected instead. The level of NAbs produced after vaccination was affected by age but not by sex. Background: Compared with immunocompetent patients, immunosuppressed patients have higher morbidity and mortality, a longer duration of viral shedding, more frequent complications, and more antiviral resistance during influenza infections. However, few data on this population in China have been reported. We analysed the clinical characteristics, effects of antiviral therapy, and risk factors for admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) and death in this population after influenza infections and explored the influenza vaccination situation for this population. Methods: We analysed 111 immunosuppressed inpatients who were infected with influenza virus during the 2015–2020 influenza seasons. Medical data were collected through the electronic medical record system and analysed. Univariate analysis and multivariate logistics analysis were used to identify risk factors. Results: The most common cause of immunosuppression was malignancies being treated with chemotherapy (64.0%, 71/111), followed by haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) (23.4%, 26/111). The most common presenting symptoms were fever and cough. Dyspnoea, gastrointestinal symptoms and altered mental status were more common in HSCT patients than in patients with immunosuppression due to other causes. Approximately 14.4% (16/111) of patients were admitted to the ICU, and 9.9% (11/111) of patients died. Combined and double doses of neuraminidase inhibitors did not significantly reduce the risk of admission to the ICU or death. Risk factors for admission to the ICU were dyspnoea, coinfection with other pathogens and no antiviral treatment within 48 h. The presence of dyspnoea and altered mental status were independently associated with death. Only 2.7% (3/111) of patients less than 12 months old had received a seasonal influenza vaccine. Conclusion: Fever and other classic symptoms of influenza may be absent in immunosuppressed recipients, especially in HSCT patients. Conducting influenza virus detection at the first presentation seems to be a good choice for early diagnosis. Clinicians should pay extra attention to immunosuppressed patients with dyspnoea, altered mental status, coinfection with other pathogens and no antiviral treatment within 48 h because these patients have a high risk of severe illness. The stock market investors aim at maximizing their investment returns. Stock recommendation task is to recommend stocks with higher return ratios for the investors. Most stock prediction methods study the historical sequence patterns to predict stock trend or price in the near future. In fact, the future price of a stock is correlated not only with its historical price, but also with other stocks. In this article, we take into account the relationships between stocks (corporations) by stock relation graph. Furthermore, we propose a Time-aware Relational Attention Network (TRAN) for graph-based stock recommendation according to return ratio ranking. In TRAN, the time-aware relational attention mechanism is designed to capture time-varying correlation strengths between stocks by the interaction of historical sequences and stock description documents. With the dynamic strengths, the nodes of the stock relation graph aggregate the features of neighbor stock nodes by graph convolution operation. For a given group of stocks, the proposed TRAN model can output the ranking results of stocks according to their return ratios. Triggered spark-gap switch is a popular discharge switch for pulse power systems. Previous studies have focused on planarizing this switch using thin film techniques in order to meet the requirements of compact size in the systems. Such switches are one-shot due to electrodes being too thin to sufficiently resist spark-erosion. Additionally, these switches did not employ any structures in securing internal gas composition, resulting in inconsistent performance under harsh atmospheres. In this work, a novel planar triggered spark-gap switch (PTS) with a hermetically sealed cavity was batched-prepared with printed circuit board (PCB) technology, to achieve reusability with low cost. The proposed PTS was inspected by micro-computed tomography to ensure PCB techniques meet the requirements of machining precision. The results from electrical experiments demonstrated that PCB PTS were consistent and reusable with lifespan over 20 times. The calculated switch voltage and circuit current were consistent with those derived from real-world measurements. As a kind of rare materials, nano-silver has broad application prospects in the fields of catalysis, medical treatment, new energy and so on. However, there are few reports on the systematic research of nano-silver in ceramic glazes. In this work, different color ceramic glazes were produced by tuning the nano-silver content and optimizing the firing process. The crystalline phase composition, micro-morphology and elemental distribution of fired glazes were analyzed and discussed in depth. The elemental composition and distribution of the samples were studied. The surface of the glazes with varying Ag contents fired under the reducing atmosphere exhibited blue-white. And the blue color is attributable to Rayleigh scattering that may arise because the phase-separation structures existed in glazes. Interestingly, the color of the ceramic glazes with varying Ag contents changed to golden-yellow when the ceramic glazes were fired under the air atmosphere. The physical and mechanical properties are key indexes for determining the quality of particleboards. For this reason, a study on evaluating the physical and mechanical properties of particleboard via a new method has considerable value. Thus, a method based on principal component regression (PCR) analysis and random forest (RF) is proposed in this paper. First, the problems requiring resolution are described after analyzing the production process parameters as well as the physical and mechanical properties of particleboard. Then, an analysis and prediction models based on the PCR and RF method is established. On the basis of the PCR method, the key process parameters that affect various physical and mechanical properties are determined. Based on the RF method, the analysis and prediction model are built from the previously determined process parameters of the physical and mechanical properties. Finally, through experimental analysis, the effectiveness of the analysis and prediction models based on the PCR and RF method are verified. This work was able to determine the relationship between the process parameters and the physical and mechanical properties, which can help improve practical industrial manufacturing effectivity. Metastasis is the main cause of poor postoperative survival of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Cytoskeleton rearrangement is a key event in cancer metastasis. However, the significance of microtubule (MT), one of the core components of cytoskeleton, in this process is only beginning to be revealed. Here, we find that the MT dynamics regulator end-binding protein 2 (EB2) is highly expressed in HCC and predicts poor prognosis of HCC patients. Functional studies show that EB2 overexpression promotes HCC proliferation, invasion and metastasis in vitro and in vivo, while EB2 knockdown has opposite results. Mechanistically, EB2 mediates MTs destabilization, increases Src (Src proto-oncogene non-receptor tyrosine kinase) activity, and thus facilitates extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signaling activation, which could in turn promote EB2 expression in HCC, eventually resulting in enhanced HCC proliferation, invasion and metastasis. Furthermore, U0126, a specific ERK inhibitor, could effectively inhibit EB2-mediated HCC proliferation and metastasis in vitro and in vivo. In conclusion, EB2 coordinates MT cytoskeleton and intracellular signal transduction, forming an EB2-MT-ERK positive feedback loop, to facilitate HCC proliferation, invasion and metastasis. EB2 could serve as a promising prognostic biomarker and potential therapeutic target for HCC; HCC patients with high EB2 expression may benefit from treatment with ERK inhibitors. We investigated and analysed the molecular evolution of hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 virus during the 2017–2018 and 2018–2019 influenza seasons in Beijing, China. We collected and extracted RNA from influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 strains from Peking University People's Hospital and analyzed their HA and NA genes by RT-PCR and sequencing. Phylogenetic analysis of HA and NA sequences was used to compare the amino acid sequences of 51 strains with those of reference strains. All strains belonged to subclade 6B.1, with S162N and I216T substitutions (H1 numbering). Our strains differed from strain A/Michigan/45/2015, with the substitutions S91R, S181T and I312V in the HA antigenic epitope. An E189G mutation was detected in the 190 helix of the receptor binding region of HA. A new potential glycosylation site, 179 (NQT), which was not detected before the 2015 influenza season, was identified. Two strains were mutated at I223, the NA inhibitor resistance site. During 2012-2019, amino acids of HA and NA mutated over time. Co-occurrence mutations N146D, S200P, S202I and A273T in HA appeared along with Q51K, F74S and D416N in NA in six strains during two influenza seasons. Our work reveals the molecular changes and phylogenetic characteristics of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 virus and suggests that a vaccine probably provides suboptimal protection. The biological characteristics of the new glycosylation and drug-resistance sites detected in this work need to be studied further. Cardiac function of the human heart changes with age. The age-related change of systolic function is subtle under normal conditions, but abrupt under stress or in a pathogenesis state. Aging decreases the cardiac tolerance to stress and increases susceptibility to ischemia, which caused by aging-induced Ca2+ transient impairment and metabolic dysfunction. The changes of contractility proteins and the relative molecules are in a non-linear fashion. Specifically, the expression and activation of cMLCK increase first then fall during ischemia and reperfusion (I/R). This change is responsible for the nonmonotonic contractility alteration in I/R which the underlying mechanism is still unclear. Contractility recovery in I/R is also attenuated by age. The age-related change in cardiac contractility influences the therapeutic effect and intervention timepoint. For most cardiac ischemia therapies, the therapeutic result in the elderly is not identical to the young. Anti-aging treatment has the potential to prevent the development of ischemic injury and improves cardiac function. In this review we discuss the mechanism underlying the contractility changes in the aged heart and age-induced ischemic injury. The potential mechanism underlying the increased susceptibility to ischemic injury in advanced age is highlighted. Value of hepatitis C virus (HCV) core antigen (cAg) test has been controversy in patients with low HCV loads for its lower sensitivity. We assessed correlation between HCV-cAg and HCV RNA in serum samples with low viral loads and analyzed the performance of HCV-cAg assay in determining diagnosis and treatment outcomes in chronic hepatitis C patients. Both HCV RNA and HCV-cAg were detected for 2298 serum samples. Correlation analysis was performed between the two tests. Receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve was used to assess value of HCV-cAg test in determining diagnosis and response outcomes at the different HCV RNA thresholds. The two tests were correlated very well, and moreover, correlation in the low viral load group was higher than that in the high viral load group (r value: 0.901 and 0.517). Positive agreement of HCV-cAg ≥ 3 fmol/L was as high as 97.0% for HCV RNA ≥ 1000 IU/mL, and its negative agreement for HCV RNA < 15 IU/mL was up to 98.9% in all samples. Area under ROCs ranged from 0.939 to 0.992, regardless of HCV RNA thresholds. When lower limit of detection of HCV RNA was 15, 100 or 1000 IU/mL, positive predictive value of HCV-cAg was 96.8%, 98.8% or 92.4%, and its negative predictive value was 87.0%, 89.9% or 98.3%, respectively, on the basis of different cutoff values. High-sensitivity HCV-cAg detection may likely replace HCV RNA to confirm the existence of HCV and to guide the treatment of chronic HCV infection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Large-section boxed-heart square timber is prone to surface and radial cracks during the drying process. A high-temperature setting pretreatment could prevent cracking in boxed-heart timber. The pretreatment process is primarily determined by the preheating time. To determine the preheating time of the test material, a mathematical model for the internal temperature distribution of Mongolian pine (Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica Litv.) boxed-heart square timber in the preheating stage was established by the finite element method. The model viability was verified by tests that showed that the model simulation results were stable and non-fluctuating. For the prediction error of the temperature change, the early-period error was large, while the later predicted values and measured values tended to be consistent. For the prediction error of the temperature distribution, the core-layer error was smallest, while that of the surface layer was greatest. For the prediction error of the preheating time, greater preheating temperatures exhibited greater error, and the minimum error was 10 min, at 90 °C. The natural bioactive components and antioxidant capacity of leaves and petioles from four celery cultivars ("Benqin", "Western", "Baoqin", and "Majiagou") were compared and correlated through a nontargeted metabolomics analysis and partial least squares regression (PLS) analysis. A total of 18, 12, and 5 antioxidant components in the celeries investigated showed significant (P < 0.05) positive correlations with the DPPH and O2 ∙ - free radical scavenging activities and ferric ion reducing power (FRP), respectively. Apiin, apigenin, rutin and α-ionone (standard partial least square regression coefficients of 0.064-0.071) made the largest contributions to the DPPH scavenging activity, while oleic acid, α-linolenic acid, pantothenic acid, and vitamin E succinate (coefficients of 0.084-0.110) made the largest contributions to the O2 ∙ - scavenging activity. Comparing the levels of major antioxidants and antioxidant capacity in four celery leaves and petioles showed that celery leaves were a better source of natural antioxidants and scavenging free radicals than petioles. Among the leaves, "Majiagou" celery leaves contained the most types, and highest (P < 0.05) levels, of natural antioxidants (especially vitamins, flavonoids, and unsaturated fatty acids), resulting in the largest O2 ∙ - scavenging activity. Among the petioles, "Baoqin" and "Benqin" celery petioles contained the most types, and highest (P < 0.05) levels, of dominant antioxidants that were responsible for their larger O2 ∙ - and DPPH scavenging activities and FRP. With the success of new speech-based human-computer interfaces, there is a great need for effective and friendly dialogue agents that can communicate with people naturally and continuously. However, the lack of personality and consistency is one of critical problems in neural dialogue systems. In this paper, we aim to generate consistent response with fixed profile and background information for building a realistic dialogue system. Based on the encoder-decoder model, we propose a retrieval mechanism to deliver natural and fluent response with proper information from a profile database. Moreover, in order to improve the efficiency of training the dataset related to profile information, we adopt a method of pre-training and adjustment for general dataset and profile dataset. Our model is trained by social dialogue data from Weibo. According to both automatic and human evaluation metrics, the proposed model significantly outperforms standard encoder-decoder model and other improved models on providing the correct profile and high-quality responses. The pretreatment of Mongolian pine (Pinus sylvestris var. mongholica Litv.) was conducted with saturated wet air (80 °C) and atmospheric saturated steam (100 °C) before high-frequency vacuum drying. Effects of the pretreatment on moisture content (MC), drying rate, drying crack, and drying shrinkage strain were investigated. The results showed that through pretreatment, the initial MC of the test material decreased by 2.6% to 6%, and the MC distribution was uniform. The maximum difference of the untreated wood MC distribution after drying was 2%, while that within the pretreated wood was less than 1%. The drying rate also increased, as the drying rates of the untreated and pretreated wood were 0.268%/h, 0.333%/h, and 0.398%/h, respectively. The drying shrinkage strain of the sample was reduced. The drying shrinkage strain of untreated wood was between 0.044 and 0.063, while the drying shrinkage strain of pretreatment wood was between 0.013 and 0.049. The crack of the test material was also reduced, and the drying quality was improved. Epidemiological studies showed that there was an inverse relationship between Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and the incidence of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Our previous research indicated that the regulatory immune responses induced by H. pylori infection were not limited to gastric mucosa, and the balance of intestinal mucosal immunity was influenced. In this study, mice were infected with H. pylori SS1, and then colitis was induced by 3% dextran sulphate sodium (DSS), to investigate the role of the regulatory B cells in the effects of H. pylori infection on acute and chronic colitis. In acute and chronic colitis groups, DAI and colonic histological scores reduced significantly and colon length shorted less, the proinflammatory cytokines mRNA expression downregulated in colonic mucosa, and the percentages of CD19+IL-10+Breg cells were higher in the H. pylori/DSS co-treated groups compared with the DSS-treated groups. Our study suggests that H. pylori infection can alleviate the acute and chronic colitis induced by DSS, and CD19+IL-10+Breg cells may play a critical role in the alleviation of acute and chronic colitis following H. pylori infection. At present, End-to-End trainable Memory Networks (MemN2N) has proven to be promising in many deep learning fields, especially on simple natural language-based reasoning question and answer (QA) tasks. However, when solving some subtasks such as basic induction, path finding or time reasoning tasks, it remains challenging because of limited ability to learn useful information between memory and query. In this paper, we propose a novel gated linear units (GLU) and local-attention based end-to-end memory networks (MemN2N-GL) motivated by the success of attention mechanism theory in the field of neural machine translation, it shows an improved possibility to develop the ability of capturing complex memory-query relations and works better on some subtasks. It is an improved end-to-end memory network for QA tasks. We demonstrate the effectiveness of these approaches on the 20 bAbI dataset which includes 20 challenging tasks, without the use of any domain knowledge. Our project is open source on github4. Direct antiviral agents (DAAs) can eliminate hepatitis C virus rapidly and make chronic hepatitis C (CHC) curable. The changes in the innate immune system during treatment with DAAs are still in dispute. To investigate how the functions of natural killer (NK) cells change during and after treatment with DAAs in each NK cell subset. Thirteen CHC patients were treated with sofosbuvir/ledipasvir, and the expression levels of NKp46 and NKG2A were tested via flow cytometry at baseline, at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks during the therapy and 12 and 24 weeks after the end of treatment; expression levels were compared between CHC patients and 13 healthy controls. A redirected killing assay was used to detect the cytotoxicity of NK cells. After coculturing NK cells with JFH-Huh7 cells for 72 h, HCV RNA was tested to analyze the inhibition ability of NK cells. All patients achieved sustained virologic response. The expression of the activating receptor NKp46 was decreased first at week 8 during therapy with DAAs and then increased and normalized to levels in healthy controls after treatment with DAAs. The expression of the inhibitory receptor NKG2A was decreased during and after treatment with DAAs. Each NK cell subset has a similar changing trend during and after treatment with DAAs, although some differences can be found earlier and later. The ratio of NKp46 and NKG2A was upregulated after treatment with DAAs. CD56bright NK cells have less amplitude in the frequency ratio changes after treatment with DAAs. The coculture results showed that both the specific lysis and the inhibition of HCV replication were significantly upregulated after treatment with DAAs. DAA treatments can affect patients' NK cell function. After DAA treatments, the expression of functional markers is downregulated, but the potential activity of NK cells is upregulated.
