Understanding and further regulating the degradation of mandrel materials is a key aspect of target fabrication in inertial confinement fusion (ICF). Here, a quasi-one-dimensional confinement model is developed using a series of single-walled carbon nanotubes with varying diameters (Dm), and the degradation of poly-α-methylstyrene (PAMS) as a typical mandrel material is investigated under such confined conditions by using the combined method of quantum mechanics and molecular mechanics. In comparison to the isolated system, the calculations show that confinement can decrease or increase the energy barriers of PAMS degradation, which directly depends on Dm. Following which a clear exponential relationship between the degradation rate of PAMS and its own density is derived, indicating that the density of PAMS can be used to regulate mandrel degradation. This work highlights the important effects of confinement on degradation and provides a valuable reference for further development of polymer degradation technologies in ICF target fabrication and other fields. The present study was designed to investigate the effects of supplementation with freeze-dried Clostridium butyricum (CB) powder on the growth, immune function and intestinal health of Litopenaeus vannamei after replacing fishmeal in the diet with cottonseed protein concentrate (CPC). Six treatment groups were designed, namely the control group (CON, 25% fish meal) and five alternative groups (CPC replacing 40% fishmeal protein in the control group). Based on the alternative group, 0%, 0.065%, 0.26%, 1.04%, and 4.16% of freeze-dried CB bacterial powder (4.6 × 108 CFU/g) were added, recorded as CB 0, CB 0.065, CB 0.26, CB 1.04, and CB 4.16, respectively. Each treatment had 3 replicates of 40 shrimps (0.29 ± 0.01 g) each and breeding for 8 weeks. After the experiment, serum enzyme activities, muscle amino acids, and intestinal parameters (short-chain fatty acids, digestive enzymes, gene expression, and microbiota) were tested to explore the effects of freeze-dried CB powder in shrimp aquaculture. The results showed that the CB1.04 group had the highest final body weight, weight gain rate, and specific growth ratio (P > 0.05). Freeze-dried CB powder increased the activity of serum superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, complement 3, and complement 4. Muscle tyrosine, proline, and total essential amino acids were remarkably increased in the CB 1.04 group (P < 0.05). Propionic acid levels were elevated in the CB 1.04 and CB4.16 groups (P < 0.001). The relative expression of Dorsal, Relish, and Target of Rapamycin (TOR) genes was significantly increased in the CB 1.04 group (P < 0.01). Actinobacteria and Demequina abundance was significantly higher in the CB 1.04 group (P < 0.01). The results of the Vibrio parahaemolyticus challenge test showed the highest cumulative mortality rate (43.33%) in the CB0 group and the lowest cumulative mortality rate (20%) in the CB1.04 group. This study confirmed that freeze-dried CB powder alleviated the negative effects of CPC replacement of fish meal protein in Litopenaeus vannamei, and the optimum additive level was 2.11% (9.71 × 109 CFU/kg) as indicated by binary regression analysis of specific growth ratio. In 2022, the global outbreak of monkeypox virus (MPXV) with increased human-to-human transmission triggered urgent public health interventions. Plant-derived monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are being explored as potential therapeutic strategies due to their diverse mechanisms of antiviral activity. MPXV produces two key infectious particles: the mature virion (MV) and the extracellular enveloped virion (EV), both essential for infection and spread. Effective therapies must target both to halt replication and transmission. Our prior research demonstrated the development of a potent neutralizing mAb against MPXV MV. This study focuses on developing a plant-derived mAb targeting MPXV EV, which is critical for viral dissemination within the host and generally resistant to antibody neutralization. Our findings reveal that the mAb (H2) can be robustly produced in Nicotiana benthamiana plants via transient expression. The plant-made H2 mAb effectively targets MPXV EV by binding specifically to the A35 MPXV antigen. Importantly, H2 mAb shows notable neutralizing activity against the infectious MPXV EV particle. This investigation is the first to report the development of a plant-derived anti-EV mAb for MPXV prevention and treatment, as well as the first demonstration of anti-MPXV EV activity by an mAb across any production platform. Despite the unique advantages of IgG3 over other IgG subclasses, such as mediating enhanced effector functions and increased flexibility in antigen binding due to a long hinge region, the therapeutic potential of IgG3 remains largely unexplored. This may be attributed to difficulties in recombinant expression and the reduced plasma half-life of most IgG3 allotypes. Here, we report plant expression of two SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that exhibit high (P5C3) and low (H4) antigen binding. P5C3 and H4-IgG1 mAbs were subclass-switched to IgG3 formats, designed for efficient production and increased PK values, carrying three allotypic variations, referred to as -WT, -H, and -KVH. A total of eight mAbs were produced in glycoengineered plants that synthesize fucose-free complex N-glycans with great homogeneity. Antigen, IgG-FcγR immune complex and complement binding studies demonstrated similar activities of all mAbs. In accordance, P5C3 Abs showed minor alterations in SARS-CoV-2 neutralization (NT) and antibody-dependent cell-mediated virus inhibition (ADCVI). Clear functional differences were observed between H4 variants with superior ADCVI and NT potencies of H4 IgG3 H. Our comparative study demonstrates the production of an IgG3 variant carrying an Fc domain with equivalent or enhanced functions compared to IgG3-WT, but with the stability and PK values ​​of IgG1. Our data also demonstrate that both allotypic variability and antibody specificity are important for fine-tuning of activities, an important information for the development of future therapeutics. A new type of deuterated polymer microspheres with a much higher deuterium/carbon (D/C) atom ratio was designed and fabricated to produce high‐yield thermonuclear neutrons. Supramolecular deuterated polycyclooctene (D‐PCOE) with ~1.7 D/C atom ratio was synthesized, which well meets the requirements including higher D/C atom ratio, good solubility for processability, and excellent mechanical properties. Monodispersed D‐PCOE microspheres including shells and beads are fabricated by a microfluidic technique. The properties of the D‐PCOE materials and corresponding microspheres are analyzed and compared with those of the deuterated polystyrene microspheres (~1 D/C atom ratio), which have been widely used in laser‐driven spherically convergent plasma fusion experiments. This work expands the category of deuterated polymeric materials and provides a new type of deuterated polymer microspheres in the forthcoming high‐yield neutron experiments. The high-thrust linear motor used for the electromagnetic launch is switched by switches composed of anti-shunt thyristors. During the switching process, different current path states will appear, which will lead to changes in motor parameters and current fluctuation. Focusing on the air-core synchronous linear motor with parallel and series power supply, this paper analyzes the change in current path caused by the change in the trigger signal of anti-parallel thyristors in the process of sectionalized stator switching. The motor circuit model of the switching process is derived. A new sectionalized stators switching method is proposed to realize the smooth switching of the sectionalized stators linear motor. Finally, the correctness of the analysis and modeling is verified by simulation, and the effectiveness of the sectionalized stators switching method is tested by using the test prototype. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a bacterium that can colonize human gastric epithelial cells and cause H. pylori infection, closely related to many gastric diseases. Compared with conventional H. pylori detection methods, emerging diagnostic approaches (such as biosensors) have become potentially more effective alternatives due to their high sensitivity, good selectivity and noninvasiveness. This review begins with a brief overview of H. pylori infection, the processes that lead to diseases, and current diagnostic methods. Subsequently, advanced biosensors in different target-based for diagnosing H. pylori infection are focused, including the detection of H. pylori-related nucleic acid, H. pylori-related protein (such as the cytotoxin, urease), and intact H. pylori. Ischemic stroke is a vascular disease that may cause cognitive and behavioral abnormalities. This study aims to assess abnormal brain function in ischemic stroke patients using the percent amplitude of fluctuation (PerAF) method and further explore the feasibility of PerAF as an imaging biomarker for investigating ischemic stroke pathophysiology mechanisms. Sixteen ischemic stroke patients and 22 healthy controls (HCs) underwent resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) scanning, and the resulting data were analyzed using PerAF. Then a correlation analysis was conducted between PerAF values and Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores. Finally, the abnormal PerAF values were extracted and defined as features for support vector machine (SVM) analysis. Compared with HCs, ischemic stroke patients showed decreased PerAF in the bilateral cuneus, left middle frontal gyrus, precuneus and right inferior temporal gyrus, and increased PerAF in the bilateral orbital part of middle frontal gyrus and right orbital part of superior frontal gyrus. Correlation analyses revealed that PerAF values in the left orbital part of middle frontal gyrus was negatively correlated with the MoCA scores. The SVM classification of the PerAF values achieved an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.98 and an accuracy of 94.74%. Abnormal brain function has been found among ischemic stroke patients, which may be correlated with visual impairment, attention deficits, and dysregulation of negative emotions following a stroke. In catalytic tests, the results have shown that almost all the BPAF was removed within 30 min when the dosage of Co3O4@BiOI and sodium persulfate (PS) was 0.15 g and 0.1 mM, respectively. Acid conditions inhibited BPAF degradation, but the inclusion of a precise concentration of bicarbonate ions (HCO3−) promoted degradation. The presence of chloride (Cl−), sulfate ions (SO42−), and a high concentration of HCO3− inhibited the degradation process, whereas the addition of nitrate ions (NO3−) had a minor effect on the catalytic process. The presence of free radicals (sulfate (SO4•−), hydroxyl (•OH), and superoxide (O2•−)) and the non-free radical singlet oxygen (1O2) in the Co3O4@BiOI/PS system was determined by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and quenching tests. We propose that the Co(II)/Co(III) and Bi(III)/Bi(V) redox pairs simultaneously activate PS where the Co3O4 and BiOI components work synergistically to promote the rapid oxidative degradation of BPAF in water. The fast-growing rhizobia-like strains S101T and S153, isolated from root nodules of soybean (Glycine max) in Sichuan, People's Republic of China, underwent characterization using a polyphasic taxonomy approach. The strains exhibited growth at 20–40 °C (optimum, 28 °C), pH 4.0–10.0 (optimum, pH 7.0) and up to 2.0% (w/v) NaCl (optimum, 0.01%) on Yeast Mannitol Agar plates. The 16S rRNA gene of strain S101T showed 98.4% sequence similarity to the closest type strain, Ciceribacter daejeonense L61T. Major cellular fatty acids in strain S101T included summed feature 8 (C18:1ω7c and/or C18:1ω6c) and C19:0 cyclo ω8c. The predominant quinone was ubiquinone-10. The polar lipids of strain S101T included diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylmethyl ethanolamine, phosphatidyl ethanolamine, amino phospholipid, unidentified phosphoglycolipid and unidentified amino-containing lipids. The DNA G + C contents of S101T and S153 were 61.1 and 61.3 mol%, respectively. Digital DNA–DNA hybridization relatedness and average nucleotide identity values between S101T and C. daejeonense L61T were 46.2% and 91.4–92.2%, respectively. In addition, strain S101T promoted the growth of soybean and carried nitrogen fixation genes in its genome, hinting at potential applications in sustainable agriculture. We propose that strains S101T and S153 represent a novel species, named Ciceribacter sichuanensis sp. nov., with strain S101T as the type strain (= CGMCC 1.61309 T = JCM 35649 T). Natural materials possess inherent multilength‐scale structures, showcasing outstanding mechanical properties such as strain‐stiffening, high damping, and shape‐memory features under ambient conditions. Such integrated properties are highly desirable for advanced materials in biomedical devices and soft robots but remain challenging in synthetic materials. Herein, a novel strategy of sequential ion treatment is employed to introduce micro/nanoscale‐ordered structures and molecular‐scale stimulus responses into hydrogel‐derived self‐assembly fibers under ambient conditions. The treated fibers exhibit strain‐stiffening properties with a high toughness of 257 MJ m−3 and 73% damping capacity comparable to spider silk. Owing to their cross‐linking network and reversible secondary structure, those fibers exhibit outstanding water‐stability, wet stretchability, and hydration‐responsive shape‐memory performance, with ultimate elongation of 407%, shape‐fixity ratio of 94%, and shape‐recovery rate of 97%. The skid resistance of asphalt pavement is an important factor affecting road safety. However, few studies have characterized the contribution of the macro- and micro-texture to the skid resistance of asphalt pavement. In this paper, the generalized extreme studentized deviate (GESD) and neighboring-region interpolation algorithm (NRIA) were used to identify and replace outliers, and median filters were used to suppress noise in texture data to reconstruct textures. On this basis, the separation of the macro- and micro-texture and the Monte Carlo algorithm were used to characterize the skid resistance of asphalt pavement. The results show that the GESD method can accurately identify outliers in the texture, and the median filtering can eliminate burrs in texture data while retaining more original detail information. The contribution of the macro-texture on the skid resistance is mainly attributed to the frictional resistance caused by the adhesion and elastic hysteresis, and the main contribution of the micro-texture is a micro-bulge cutting part in the friction mechanism. As an important ecological barrier and a crucial base for animal husbandry in China, the forage–livestock balance in the Three-River-Source Region (TRSR) directly impacts both the degradation and recovery of grassland. This study examines the forage–livestock balance in the TRSR over the past 13 years (2010–2022) by calculating both the theoretical and actual livestock carrying capacity, thereby providing a scientific basis for regional animal husbandry policies. Firstly, the Carnegie–Ames–Stanford Approach (CASA) model was improved to fit the specific characteristics of alpine grassland ecosystem in the TRSR. This enhanced model was subsequently used to calculate the net primary productivity (NPP) of the grassland, from which the regional grassland yield and theoretical livestock carrying capacity were derived. Secondly, the actual livestock carrying capacity was calculated and spatialized based on the number of regional year-end livestock. Finally, the livestock carrying pressure index was determined using both the theoretical and actual livestock carrying capacity. The results revealed several key findings: (1) The average grassland NPP in the TRSR was 145.44 gC/m2, the average grassland yield was 922.7 kg/hm2, and the average theoretical livestock carrying capacity was 0.55 SU/hm2 from 2010 to 2022. Notably, all three metrics showed an increasing trend over the past 13 years, which indicates the rise in grassland vegetation activities. (2) The average actual livestock carrying capacity over the 13-year period was 0.46 SU/hm2, showing a decreasing trend on the whole. The spatial distribution displayed a pattern of higher capacity in the east and lower in the west. (3) Throughout the 13 years, the TRSR generally maintained a forage–livestock balance, with an average livestock carrying pressure index of 0.96 (insufficient). However, the trend of livestock carrying pressure is on the rise, with serious overloading observed in the western part of Qumalai County and the northern part of Tongde County. Slight overloading was also noted in Zhiduo, Maduo, and Zeku Counties. Notably, Tanggulashan Town, Zhiduo, Qumalai, and Maduo Counties showed significant increases in livestock carrying pressure, while Zaduo County and the eastern regions experienced significant decreases. In conclusion, this study not only provides feasible technical methods for assessing and managing the forage–livestock balance in the TRSR but also contributes significantly to the sustainable development of the region's grassland ecosystem and animal husbandry industry. The emergence of Staphylococcus epidermidis as a significant nosocomial pathogen necessitates advancements in more efficient antimicrobial resistance profiling. However, existing culture-based and PCR-based antimicrobial susceptibility testing methods are far too slow or costly. This study combines machine learning with matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) to develop predictive models for various antibiotics using a comprehensive dataset containing thousands of S. epidermidis isolates. Optimized machine learning models utilized feature selection and achieved high AUROC scores ranging from 0.80 to 0.95 while maintaining AUPRC scores up to 0.97. Shapley Additive exPlanations were employed to analyze relevant features and assess the significance of corresponding protein biomarkers while also verifying that predictive power was derived from the detection of proteins rather than noise. Antimicrobial resistance models were validated externally to evaluate model performance outside the original data collection site. The approaches and findings in this study demonstrate a significant advancement in rapid, cost-effective antimicrobial resistance profiling, offering a promising solution for improving treatments for nosocomial infections and being potentially applicable to other microbial pathogens in the future. Background: Organisms have evolved a range of phenotypic and genetic adaptations to live in different environments along an altitudinal gradient. Herein, we studied the widely distributed Chinese toad, Bufo gargarizans, as a model and used an integrated phenotype-genotype approach to assess adaptations to different altitudinal environments. Results: Comparison of populations from four altitudes (50 m, 1200 m, 2300 m, and 3400 m) showed more effective defenses among high-altitude toads. These included thickened epidermis, more epidermal capillaries and granular glands, greater gland size in skin, and higher antioxidant enzyme activities in plasma. High-altitude toads also showed increased erythrocytes and hematocrit and elevated hemoglobin concentration, potentially improving oxygen delivery. Elevated altitude led to a metabolic shift from aerobic to anaerobic metabolism, and high-altitude populations favored carbohydrates over fatty acids to fuel for energy metabolism. Differentially expressed genes were associated with adaptive phenotypic changes. For instance, expression of genes associated with fatty acid metabolism showed greater suppression at high altitude (3400 m), consistent with decreased flux of β-hydroxybutyric acid and lower free fatty acids levels. Moreover, down-regulation of genes involved in carbon metabolism processes at high altitude (3400 m) were coincident with reduced TCA cycle flux. These results suggest that high-altitude toads adopt a metabolic suppression strategy for survival under harsh environmental conditions. Moreover, the hypoxia-inducible factor signaling cascade was activated at high altitude. Conclusions: Collectively, these results advance our comprehension of adaptation to high-altitude environments by revealing physiological and genetic mechanisms at work in Chinese toads living along altitudinal gradients. Levulinic acid (LA) is derived from lignocellulosic biomass and can undergo various chemical transformations to produce high-value chemicals. However, there are limited studies on C–C bond cleavage in LA. Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) is a high-quality solvent with a wide range of industrial applications, traditionally produced from petroleum-derived n-butene. Here, we report a method for the production of MEK from LA using a metal-free photocatalytic system. Using acridine compounds as photosensitizers and thiophenols as hydrogen transfer reagents, high selectivity and yield of MEK are achieved under mild reaction conditions, and the reaction time is significantly shortened using a microchannel continuous flow photoreactor. Additionally, life cycle assessment indicates that this method has lower carbon emissions than other MEK production methods from LA. Background: The effects of low temperatures on parasitic wasps are crucial for maintaining farmland biodiversity and enhancing biological control, especially given the implications of global warming and frequent extreme cold events. Methods: We studied the effects of different low temperatures (−8 ± 1 °C, −4 ± 1 °C, 0 ± 1 °C, 4 ± 1 °C, and 8 ± 1 °C) on the mating frequency and duration of male adults of Trichopria drosophilae and the number of pupae beaten by female adults, and constructed the age–stage two-sex life table of T. drosophilae. Results: This study found that male T. drosophilae adults exposed to low temperatures for 12 h significantly altered their mating behavior, peaking between 15:00 and 17:00. As the temperature dropped during the exposure, both the mating frequency of T. drosophilae and the duration of pupal beating were affected. The survival rate of female adults dropped from 39.55% at 8 °C to just 21.17% at −8 °C. Low-temperature treatment shortened the development period and lifespan for T. drosophilae adults. They developed 4.71 days faster and had a total lifespan that was 10.66 days shorter than those in the control group after being exposed to −8 °C. Furthermore, the average number of eggs laid by females at −8 °C was 4.46 less than that at 8 °C and 6.16 less than that in the control group, which laid an average of 21.55 eggs. The net reproductive rate (R0) of T. drosophilae decreased with lower temperatures, reaching a low of 23.64 at −8 °C. Conversely, the intrinsic growth rate (rm) actually increased as temperatures dropped, with the lowest value being 0.21 at −8 °C. Conclusions: The findings indicate that short-term exposure to low temperatures hampers the growth and population increase of T. drosophilae, thereby reducing their effectiveness as biological control agents. Highlights: We studied how short-term exposure to low temperatures affects the mating behavior of the parasite Trichopria drosophilae and found that it disrupts their mating process. Using data on age and developmental stage, we developed a two-sex life table for T. drosophilae under short-term low temperatures. Background This study investigated the abilities of radiomics and clinical feature models to distinguish kidney stone–associated urinary tract infections (KS-UTIs) using computed tomography. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on a single-center dataset comprising computed tomography (CT) scans and corresponding clinical information from 461 patients with kidney stones. Radiomics features were extracted from CT images and underwent dimensionality reduction and selection. Multiple machine learning (Three types of shallow learning and four types of deep learning) algorithms were employed to construct radiomics and clinical models in this study. Performance evaluation and optimal model selection were done using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis and Delong test. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyzed clinical and radiomics features to identify significant variables and develop a clinical model. A combined model integrating radiomics and clinical features was established. Model performance was assessed by ROC curve analysis, clinical utility was evaluated through decision curve analysis, and the accuracy of the model was analyzed via calibration curve. Results Multilayer perceptron (MLP) showed higher classification accuracy than other classifiers (area under the curve (AUC) for radiomics model: train 0.96, test 0.94; AUC for clinical model: train 0.95, test 0.91. The combined radiomics-clinical model performed best (AUC for combined model: train 0.98, test 0.95). Decision curve and calibration curve analyses confirmed the model's clinical efficacy and calibration. Drawing inspiration from the state‐of‐the‐art object detection framework YOLOv8, a new model termed adverse weather net (ADWNet) is proposed. To enhance the model's feature extraction capabilities, the efficient multi‐scale attention (EMA) module has been integrated into the backbone. To address the problem of information loss in fused features, Neck has been replaced with RepGDNeck. Simultaneously, to expedite the model's convergence, the bounding box's loss function has been optimized to SIoU loss. To elucidate the advantages of ADWNet in the context of adverse weather conditions, ablation studies and comparative experiments were conducted. The results indicate that although the model's parameter count increased by 18.4%, the accuracy for detecting rain, snow, and fog in adverse weather conditions improved by 22%, while the FLOPs (floating point operations) decreased by 5%. The results of the comparison experiments conducted on the WEDGE dataset show that ADWNet outperforms other object detection models in adverse weather in terms of accuracy, model parameters and FLOPs. To validate ADWNet's real‐world efficacy, data was extracted from a car recorder under adverse conditions on highways, visual inference was conducted, and its accuracy was demonstrated in interpreting real‐world scenarios. Neuroblasts were first derived from the adult mammalian brains in the 1990s by Reynolds et al. Since then, persistent neurogenesis in the subgranular zone (SGZ) of the hippocampus and subventricular zone (SVZ) has gradually been recognized. To date, reviews on neuroblast migration have largely investigated glial cells and molecular signaling mechanisms, while the relationship between vasculature and cell migration remains a mystery. Thus, this paper underlines the partial biological features of neuroblast migration and unravels the significance and mechanisms of the vasculature in the process to further clarify theoretically the neural repair mechanism after brain injury. Neuroblast migration presents three modes according to the characteristics of cells that act as scaffolds during the migration process: gliophilic migration, neurophilic migration, and vasophilic migration. Many signaling molecules, including brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), stromal cell-derived factor 1 (SDF-1), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and angiopoietin-1 (Ang-1), affect vasophilic migration, synergistically regulating the migration of neuroblasts to target areas along blood vessels. However, the precise role of blood vessels in the migration of neuroblasts needs to be further explored. Staphylococcus aureus is a notorious pathogen predominantly involved in skin and soft tissue infections, exhibiting a distinct innate sex bias. This study explores the influence of testosterone on the virulence of S. aureus and elucidates its underlying mechanisms. Utilizing a skin abscess model in intact and castrated male mice, we assessed the effects of testosterone on S. aureus pathogenicity. Compared to controls, castrated mice showed significantly reduced abscess sizes and decreased bacterial loads, highlighting the role of testosterone in modulating the severity of S. aureus infections. In vitro experiments revealed that testosterone enhances the hemolytic activity, cytotoxicity, and oxidative stress resistance of S. aureus. Real-time quantitative PCR analysis showed a significant upregulation of the genes encoding α-hemolysin (hla) and phenol-soluble modulin (psmα). Importantly, testosterone treatment significantly enhanced the expression of the accessory gene regulator (Agr) quorum-sensing system components (agrC, agrA, agrB, agrD), while the SaeRS system (saeR, saeS, and sbi) exhibited only slight changes. Gene knockout experiments revealed that deletion of agrC, rather than saeRS and agrBD, abolishes the testosterone-induced enhancement of hemolysis and gene expression, underscoring the key role of AgrC. Molecular docking simulations indicated a direct interaction between testosterone and AgrC protein, with a strong binding affinity at the active site residue SER201. This study provides new insights into the mechanistic basis of how testosterone enhances the pathogenicity of S. aureus, potentially contributing to increased male susceptibility to S. aureus infections and offering a targeted approach for therapeutic interventions. Background Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery is a commonly used procedure for treating congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM) in infants, particularly when performing segmentectomy for segmental lesions. An innovative technique employing near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) imaging with intravenous indocyanine green (ICG) has been utilized to delineate the intersegmental demarcation during surgery. However, no previous reports have investigated this method's application, specifically in infants. The primary aim of this study was to assess the safety and efficacy of the NIRF imaging with ICG approach in this context. Methods Between January 2021 and April 2022, a total of 19 consecutive segmentectomies were conducted using the NIRF imaging with ICG method to precisely identify the intersegmental plane. The results were concurrently compared with those obtained using the modified inflation–deflation technique. Comprehensive imaging and clinical data were gathered and analyzed to assess the safety and accuracy of the NIRF imaging with ICG approach. Results The study involved infants with a median age of 5.12 months (mean body weight of 8.08 g). All segmentectomies were performed successfully without any ICG-related complications. The mean operating time for the surgeries was 88.47 ± 7.94 minutes. Notably, no intraoperative conversions or significant complications were observed in any of the patients. The average hospital stay after surgery was 4.0 ± 0.82 days. During the follow-up period, extending beyond 1-year of postoperation, all patients exhibited excellent recovery with no cases of recurrence. Conclusions Based on our experience, the NIRF imaging with intravenous ICG method proved to be both safe and effective when performing segmentectomy for infants with CPAM. To simplify the computational complexity of the Joint Probabilistic Data Association (JPDA) algorithm for multi-target tracking in low-signal-to-clutter-ratio underwater acoustic scenes, and to solve the problem of unstable tracking caused by poor measurement accuracy of active sonar, a trajectory information-based JPDA optimization algorithm (TJPDA) is designed to meet the real-time and stability requirements of practical engineering. The false alarm rate is reduced by accumulating correlated target trajectories in multiple frames, and the influence factor is introduced to modify the correlation probability and simplify the confirmation matrix splitting process. This effectively solves the problem of information combination explosion and trajectory divergence caused by adjacent target interference in low signal-to-clutter-ratio underwater acoustic scenes. The simulation results show that compared with the JPDA algorithm, the TJPDA algorithm not only improves target-tracking accuracy but also reduces computation time, making it more suitable for practical engineering applications. The optimal extraction process of phytoglycogen (PG) from sweet corn by ultrasound-assisted method was studied, and the physicochemical properties and biological activities of PG were evaluated in this paper. The effects of solid-liquid ratio, ultrasonic power and ultrasonic time on the yield of PG were investigated and the process parameters were further optimized by orthogonal experiment. Furthermore, the physicochemical properties of PG obtained by ultrasound-assisted method were investigated. Meanwhile, the antioxidation, cytotoxicity, apoptosis and hemolysis of PG were evaluated in vitro. The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions were as follows: Solid-liquid ratio of 1:9 (g/mL), ultrasonic power of 160 W and ultrasonic time of 80 min, the actual yield was 14.31%±0.38%. The PG particle size obtained by ultrasound-assisted method was lower than that obtained by traditional water extraction and alcohol precipitation method. In vitro antioxidant experiment showed that PG had a certain antioxidant capacity, especially it was more sensitive to DPPH free radicals, and the clearance rate reached 54.58%±1.39% at 20 mg/mL. The results of biosafety evaluation showed that the survival rate of mouse fibroblasts (3T3) was higher than 95% after incubation with different concentrations of PG for 24 or 48 h. Meanwhile, PG had no obvious apoptotic effect on cells, and the apoptotic rate was lower than 7% at the maximum concentration. After 2 h of co-incubation, the hemolysis rate caused by PG on red blood cells was also much lower than the national standard (5%), which confirmed that PG had good biocompatibility with normal cells and red blood cells. Overall, this study showed that ultrasound-assisted method could improve the yield and physicochemical properties of PG, and also confirmed that PG was a non-toxic natural nanoparticle, which had great application potential in drug or food factor delivery. This paper presents a discussion on the method, mechanism, and application of adhesive hydrogel in enhancing epidermal signal, focusing on the interface between hydrogel and skin. Due to its excellent conductivity and high adaptability to the skin, the hydrogel is exceptionally suitable for detecting human-machine interfaces, particularly epidermal electromyographic signals. However, the detection of the high epidermal signal is hindered by the gap and low adhesion between hydrogel and skin. Global climate warming and frequent extreme low-temperature events have made it essential to investigate the impact of low temperatures on parasitic wasps to protect and strengthen farmland biodiversity, which in turn enhances the biological control potential of natural enemies such as parasitic wasps. We systematically examined how low-temperature stress affects the parasitic functional response of Trichopria drosophilae to Drosophila suzukii (Diptera: Drosophilidae) pupae. Our findings indicate that the parasitic behavior of T. drosophilae towards D. suzukii pupae aligns with the Holling II functional response model following exposure to different temperatures. Within the temperature range of 8 °C to −8 °C, lower temperatures correlated decreased instantaneous attack rate of T. drosophilae and an increase in processing time. The search constant Q initially increased and then decreased with declining temperatures. Short-term low-temperature stress negatively impacted the parasitic and searching abilities of T. drosophilae but did not alter its parasitic functional response model. Notably, short-term low-temperature stress had minimal effects on the water content, protein content, and total sugar content of male and female T. drosophilae adults. However, as temperatures decreased, the activities of key enzymes, including GAPDH, SOD, T-AOC, and malondialdehyde (MDA), exhibited an initial increase followed by a decrease. Conversely, the activities of LDH and HOAD decreased, while the activities of CAT and POD increased. Further study on the effect of short-term low temperature on T. drosophilae can provide a research basis for the large-scale production and low-temperature refrigeration technology of T. drosophilae , and provide a scientific basis for its efficient use in the field. Backgrounds: Acute transplant rejection is a major component of poor prognoses for organ transplantation. Owing to the multiple complex mechanisms involved, new treatments are still under exploration. Endometrial regenerative cells (ERCs) have been widely used in various refractory immune-related diseases, but the role of ERC-derived exosomes (ERC-Exos) in alleviating transplant rejection has not been extensively studied. Signaling lymphocyte activation molecule family 6 (SLAMF6) plays an important role in regulating immune responses. In this study, we explored the main mechanism by which ERC-Exos loaded with siSLAMF6 can alleviate allogeneic transplant rejection. Methods: C57BL/6 mouse recipients of BALB/c mouse kidney transplants were randomly divided into four groups and treated with exosomes. The graft pathology was evaluated by H&E staining. Splenic and transplanted heart immune cell populations were analyzed by flow cytometry. Recipient serum cytokine profiles were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The proliferation and differentiation capacity of CD4+ T cell populations were evaluated in vitro. The α-2,6-sialylation levels in the CD4+ T cells were determined by SNA blotting. Results: In vivo, mice treated with ERC-siSLAMF6 Exo achieved significantly prolonged allograft survival. The serum cytokine profiles of the recipients were significantly altered in the ERC-siSLAMF6 Exo-treated recipients. In vitro, we found that ERC-siSLAMF6-Exo considerably downregulated α-2,6-sialyltransferase (ST6GAL1) expression in CD4+ T cells, and significantly reduced α-2,6-sialylation levels. Through desialylation, ERC-siSLAMF6 Exo therapy significantly decreased CD4+ T cell proliferation and inhibited CD4+ T cell differentiation into Th1 and Th17 cells while promoting regulatory T cell (Treg) differentiation. Conclusions: Our study indicated that ERC-Exos loaded with siSLAMF6 reduce the amount of sialic acid connected to α-2,6 at the end of the N-glycan chain on the CD4+ T cell surface, increase the number of therapeutic exosomes endocytosed into CD4+ T cells, and inhibit the activation of T cell receptor signaling pathways, which prolongs allograft survival. This study confirms the feasibility of using ERC-Exos as natural carriers combined with gene therapy, which could be used as a potential therapeutic strategy to alleviate allograft rejection. A novel, parameter-independent multiscale correlational constitutive model has been devised to predict thermomechanical properties of Si-diamond-SiC and Si-diamond composites, including the effective elastic modulus, effective bulk modulus, effective shear modulus, effective Poisson’s ratio, average coefficients of thermal expansion as well as thermal conductivity. Based on this model, the effective thermomechanical response of two kinds of composites was simulated, and the underlying mechanisms of thermomechanical coupling between constituents were also critically evaluated. The findings were shown that the effective elastic properties of composites, including effective elastic modulus, effective bulk modulus, effective shear modulus, increased with diamond and SiC, and that the introduction of dispersed diamond with highly thermal conductivity and lowly thermal expansion significantly enhanced thermophysical properties of Si-diamond-SiC composites. The thermomechanical coupling of these composites was influenced by the effective elastic properties of composites and the disparity in the intrinsic properties of constituents. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the application value in neurological outcome of cerebral regional oxygen saturation (CrSO2) and amplitude-integrated electroencephalography (aEEG) monitoring during neonatal extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) courses. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 18 neonates receiving veno-arterial ECMO (V-A ECMO) support at our hospital from July 2021 to December 2022. Continuous monitoring of CrSO2 and brain electrical activity was conducted using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and aEEG throughout the ECMO treatment. We collected and analyzed related clinical data. Results: Among the 11 survivors, 5 were categorized as the normal group (N group) and 6 as the abnormal group (AN group) based on post-ECMO brain MRI outcomes. The N group exhibited shorter time percentage of significant CrSO2 reduction (> 25% from baseline or absolute value < 40%), better fractional tissue oxygen extraction (FTOE) rates, and more stable mean percentage changes in CrSO2 compared to the AN group. Neonates in the N group predominantly showed mildly abnormal aEEG readings, with one patient displaying disrupted sleep-wake cycles. This particular patient also had more significant CrSO2 reduction and poorer FTOE compared to others in the N group. Additionally, the Test of Infant Motor Performance (TIMP) scores indicated hypoevolutism in this patient before discharge, while others in the N group had normal TIMP scores. In the AN group, 4 exhibited moderate and 2 severe aEEG abnormalities; 5 had hypoevolutism TIMP scores, and 1 with moderate aEEG abnormalities maintained a normal TIMP score, exhibiting lesser CrSO2 reduction and improved FTOE. Conclusion: CrSO2 and aEEG monitoring show potential as routine assessments for neurological outcomes during neonatal ECMO. Accurate understanding of urban land use change information is of great significance for urban planning, urban monitoring, and disaster assessment. The use of Very-High-Resolution (VHR) remote sensing images for change detection on urban land features has gradually become mainstream. However, most existing transfer learning-based change detection models compute multiple deep image features, leading to feature redundancy. Therefore, we propose a Transfer Learning Change Detection Model Based on Change Feature Selection (TL-FS). The proposed method involves using a pretrained transfer learning model framework to compute deep features from multitemporal remote sensing images. A change feature selection algorithm is then designed to filter relevant change information. Subsequently, these change features are combined into a vector. The Change Vector Analysis (CVA) is employed to calculate the magnitude of change in the vector. Finally, the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) classification is utilized to obtain binary change detection results. In this study, we selected four VHR optical image datasets from Beijing-2 for the experiment. Compared with the Change Vector Analysis and Spectral Gradient Difference, the TL-FS method had maximum increases of 26.41% in the F1-score, 38.04% in precision, 29.88% in recall, and 26.15% in the overall accuracy. The results of the ablation experiments also indicate that TL-FS could provide clearer texture and shape detections for dual-temporal VHR image changes. Aiming at the problem that an Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) cannot be smoothly started in zero-low speed range and smoothly transitioned to medium-high speed range by a single observer. This paper proposes a full-speed range control algorithm based on the fusion of pulsating high-frequency injection and back electromotive force (EMF) position error information. In the low-speed range or at start-up, a square-wave high-frequency signal is injected, and the obtained high-frequency current signal is processed to obtain the rotor position error information. The phase shift due to the introduction of a filter is reduced, which improves the control bandwidth and reduces the noise. To ensure smooth switching of the observer, the observer uses a dual second-order generalized integrator module to output the angular frequency in the low-speed range. A higher-order sliding mode observer based on an inverse EMF model obtains rotor position error information at high speeds. During switching, the rotor position information is processed by a fusion strategy, and the obtained hybrid information is fed into the system to improve the stability of the motor operation. Background: This study aimed to compare targeted next-generation sequencing (tNGS) with metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) for pathogen detection in infants with severe postoperative pneumonia after congenital heart surgery. Methods: We conducted a retrospective observational study using data from the electronic medical record system of infants who developed severe pneumonia after surgery for congenital heart disease from August 2021 to August 2022. Infants were divided into tNGS and mNGS groups based on the pathogen detection methods. The primary outcome was the efficiency of pathogen detection, and the secondary outcomes were the timeliness and cost of each method. Results: In the study, 91 infants were included, with tNGS detecting pathogens in 84.6% (77/91) and mNGS in 81.3% (74/91) of cases (P = 0.55). No significant differences were found in sensitivity, specificity, PPA, and NPA between the two methods (P > 0.05). tNGS identified five strains with resistance genes, while mNGS detected one strain. Furthermore, tNGS had a faster detection time (12 vs. 24 h) and lower cost ($150 vs. $500) compared to mNGS. Conclusion: tNGS offers similar sensitivity to mNGS but with greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness, making it a promising approach for respiratory pathogen detection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Programmed death‐ligand 1 (PD‐L1) is overexpressed in multiple cancers and critical for their immune escape. It has previously shown that the nuclear coactivator SRC‐1 promoted colorectal cancer (CRC) progression by enhancing CRC cell viability, yet its role in CRC immune escape is unclear. Here, we demonstrate that SRC‐1 is positively correlated with PD‐L1 in human CRC specimens. SRC‐1 deficiency significantly inhibits PD‐L1 expression in CRC cells and retards murine CRC growth in subcutaneous grafts by enhancing CRC immune escape via increasing tumor infiltration of CD8+ T cells. Genetic ablation of SRC‐1 in mice also decreases PD‐L1 expression in AOM/DSS‐induced murine CRC. These results suggest that tumor‐derived SRC‐1 promotes CRC immune escape by enhancing PD‐L1 expression. Mechanistically, SRC‐1 activated JAK‐STAT signaling by inhibiting SOCS1 expression and coactivated STAT3 and IRF1 to enhance PD‐L1 transcription as well as stabilized PD‐L1 protein by inhibiting proteasome‐dependent degradation mediated by speckle type POZ protein (SPOP). Pharmacological inhibition of SRC‐1 improved the antitumor effect of PD‐L1 antibody in both subcutaneous graft and AOM/DSS‐induced murine CRC models. Taken together, these findings highlight a crucial role of SRC‐1 in regulating PD‐L1 expression and targeting SRC‐1 in combination with PD‐L1 antibody immunotherapy may be an attractive strategy for CRC treatment. Purpose: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a prevalent complication during pregnancy. This study aimed to explore the associations between inflammatory indices during pregnancy and the development of GDM. Methods: Data from the Fujian Birth Cohort Study between March 2019 and December 2022 were used. Participants who delivered a live-born singleton were included and categorized into GDM and non-GDM groups. Two inflammatory indices, the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and systemic inflammatory response index (SIRI), were calculated for each trimester of pregnancy via hematological parameters from complete blood count tests. The distributions of inflammatory indicators across trimesters were compared between the GDM and non-GDM groups. Additionally, multivariable logistic regression models were employed to investigate the associations between inflammatory indices and the incidence of GDM. Results: A total of 17297 participants were included, 21.2% of whom were diagnosed with GDM. In the first trimester, the median SIIs for the GDM and non-GDM groups were 817.7× 109/L and 756.9× 109/L, respectively, whereas the median SIRIs were 1.6× 109/L and 1.5× 109/L, respectively. In both groups, the SII increased to its peak in the second trimester before declining, whereas the SIRI progressively increased throughout pregnancy. The SII and SIRI were greater in the GDM group than in the non-GDM group during the first two trimesters but lower in the third trimester. Nonlinear positive associations between first-trimester SII and SIRI levels and GDM were observed, with extreme quartile odds ratios of 1.32 (95% CI: 1.19, 1.48) and 1.39 (95% CI: 1.24, 1.55), respectively. Conclusion: The SII and SIRI increased and reached their peak values in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, respectively. Speech emotion recognition (SER) is not only a ubiquitous aspect of everyday communication, but also a central focus in the field of human–computer interaction. However, SER faces several challenges, including difficulties in detecting subtle emotional nuances and the complicated task of recognizing speech emotions in noisy environments. To effectively address these challenges, we introduce a Transformer-based model called MelTrans, which is designed to distill critical clues from speech data by learning core features and long-range dependencies. At the heart of our approach is a dual-stream framework. Using the Transformer architecture as its foundation, MelTrans deciphers broad dependencies within speech mel-spectrograms, facilitating a nuanced understanding of emotional cues embedded in speech signals. Comprehensive experimental evaluations on the EmoDB (92.52%) and IEMOCAP (76.54%) datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of MelTrans. These results highlight MelTrans's ability to capture critical cues and long-range dependencies in speech data, setting a new benchmark within the context of these specific datasets. The homogenized and local behavior of wavy brick-and-mortar structures accounting for the piezoelectric multiphysics effect was studied in a systematic manner. The information on the connection between composite microstructure and their macro-properties serves as the directives for devising and crafting engineered materials that align with specific target performance criteria. Secondly, we scrutinized the potential of the multiphysics finite-volume direct averaging micromechanics (MFVDAM) method and compared it with finite element techniques in simulating the effective and local piezoelectric response within wavy brick-and-mortar architectures. The numerical findings demonstrated robust agreement between the two methods, underscoring that the MFVDAM stands as a convincing alternative to the finite element approach for examining multiphysics challenges encompassing various microstructures and scales. There is increasing evidence that sex differences exist in many clinical manifestations of patients with schizophrenia, including suicidal ideation (SI) and neurocognitive function. The present study was performed to explore the sex differences in the association between SI and neurocognitive function in Chinese patients with schizophrenia. A total of 1188 inpatients with schizophrenia were recruited from multicenter psychiatric hospitals. The Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS) was utilized to evaluate the neurocognitive function of all patients. The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) was utilized to assess the psychopathology of patients. The Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation (BSSI) was used to assess the severity of SI. In male patients, the suicide risk score was significantly associated with PANSS negative symptoms (r = 0.167, p = 0.043), visuospatial subscale (r = − 0.261, p = 0.001), and RBANS total scores (r = − 0.172, p = 0.037). Furthermore, multivariate linear regression analysis showed that the visuospatial subscale (β = − 0.490, t = − 3.273, p = 0.001) was independently associated with the suicide risk score in male patients. In female patients, the suicide risk score was significantly correlated with PANSS positive symptoms (r = 0.249, p = 0.021), negative symptoms (r = 0.394, p < 0.001), general psychopathology (r = 0.276, p = 0.01) and PANSS total score (r = 0.365, p = 0.001). Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that PANSS negative symptoms (β = 1.849, t = 3.933, p = 0.001) were significantly associated with suicide risk scores in female patients. Our findings indicate that there are sex differences in the association between SI and neurocognitive function in patients with schizophrenia. Based on the findings of our study, gender-specific prevention and intervention strategies may make a difference in reducing SI in Chinese schizophrenia patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Constructing low-cost, high-catalytic-performance anode electrocatalysts is a significant challenge for methanol oxidation (MOR) and urea oxidation (UOR) reactions. Using paper templates with abundant pores to prepare thin porous metal materials helps to obtain high-performance electrode materials. The nano amorphous B-doped Ni/crystalline Ni (nanoam Ni-B/Ni) foil composite electrodes were derived from paper templates prepared by impregnation, high-temperature reduction, and electrodeposition methods. Porous Ni foils (Nip) derived thinnest rice ("Xuan") paper, initially used for Chinese calligraphy and painting, exhibits the best performance due to its strong adsorption and wettability. Compared to direct current electrodeposition, pulse electrodeposition yields finer amorphous B-doped Ni nanoparticles with good catalytic performance. Under a current density of 100 mA·cm−2, the nanoam Ni-B/Ni composite electrode prepared under a duty cycle of 0.5–1.0 s achieved current densities of 290.4 mA·cm−2 (MOR) and 340.4 mA·cm−2 (UOR) at 0.8 V, which are improved by 37.1% and 55.1%, respectively, compared to those of Nip. After 2000 cycles, with solution replacement, the current densities maintained 99.2% (MOR) and 81.6% (UOR) of the original values, showing excellent electrocatalytic stability. This research provided a new use for Chinese rice paper, and the prepared Nip-based electrode, with a thickness of about 60 μm and a low area quality, had a simple preparation process and good electrochemical properties, and can be used as a potential substitute for commercial Ni foam for portable or small electrochemical devices. Anthropogenic heat emissions, which are quantified as anthropogenic heat flux (AHF), have attracted significant attention due to their pronounced impacts on urban thermal environments and local climates. However, there remains a notable gap in research regarding the distinctions in the distribution of anthropogenic heat emissions (AHEs) along urban–rural gradients. To address this gap, the present study introduces a new concept—the anthropogenic urban heat island (ArUHI)—where the AHF within urban areas is higher than that in background areas. To quantitatively describe the magnitude and spatial extent of the ArUHI effect, two metrics—namely, ArUHI intensity (ArUHII) and ArUHI footprint (ArUHIFP)—are introduced. We conducted a comprehensive study across 208 cities in China to investigate the spatiotemporal patterns of AHF variations along urban–rural gradients during the period of 2000–2016. In addition, we explored how the complex interactions between land cover and building form components affect changes in the AHF along urban–rural gradients. Additionally, we analyzed how economic zones and city sizes alter the ArUHI intensity and ArUHI footprint. The results showed that 97% (201/208) of Chinese cities exhibited a significant ArUHI effect from 2000 to 2016. The modeled ArUHI intensity value exhibited a substantial increase of nearly fivefold, increasing from 5.55 ± 0.19 W/m2 to 26.84 ± 0.99 W/m2 over time. Regarding the spatial distribution of the ArUHI footprint, the analysis revealed that, for the majority of cities (86% or 179 out of 208), the ArUHI footprint ranged from 1.5 to 5.5 times that in urban areas. City sizes and economic zones yielded significant influences on the ArUHI intensity and ArUHI footprint values. Building forms were significantly positively correlated with AHF, with R2 values higher than 0.94. This study contributes to the understanding of ArUHI effects and their driving factors in China, providing valuable insights for urban climate studies and enhancing our understanding of surface urban heat island mechanisms. In this paper, a toroidal metamaterial for achieving highly sensitive sensors in the terahertz (THz) frequency range is proposed. Such a subwavelength structure consists of a pair of mirror-symmetric metal split-ring resonators and a single metal wire. By exciting the structure with vertically incident electromagnetic waves, high-Q transmission peaks are generated at 2.40 and 2.44 THz. Near-field analysis reveals that the reverse-flowing currents in the metal split-ring resonators and the metal wire create a pair of magnetic dipoles connected end to end, resulting in a vortex-like magnetic field known as a toroidal dipole. Calculations of multipole scattering energy further confirm that the rapidly enhanced toroidal dipole is the primary factor responsible for the high-Q transmission peaks. This toroidal metamaterial can be used to design refractive index sensors with a sensitivity of up to 20 GHz/RIU, enabling the detection of subtle changes in the surrounding environment's parameters. With the rapid development of China's livestock industry, the demand for protein feed has surged, underscoring the importance of developing and utilizing new types of feed. As a kind of high quality woody feed resource, Broussonetia papyrifera has the advantages of high yield, wide distribution, strong environmental adaptability, comprehensive nutrition and high protein content, and has been popularized and applied in many provinces and regions in across China. In order to make full use of the resources of Broussonetia papyrifera, the mixed silage of this plant can improve the palatability and nutrient utilization of the Broussonetia papyrifera feed, improve the growth performance of livestock and poultry, reduce the death rate, improve the intestinal microenvironment, and improve the meat quality. This paper summarizes the recent research progress on the evaluation of the nutritional value of Broussonetia papyrifera and its various processing methods for livestock and poultry feed, and comprehensively discusses the application of the Broussonetia papyrifera in animal breeding, in order to provide reference for the rational development and utilization of the Broussonetia papyrifera resources. Vibro-acoustic systems in aviation engineering could operate in a thermal environment and suffer from high-frequency dynamic excitations. The high-frequency vibro-acoustic problems are commonly solved by the Statistical Energy Analysis method, in which the Coupling Loss Factor is the key parameter for modeling vibro-acoustic systems. This work investigates the CLFs of vibro-acoustic systems under thermal environment. First, based on the modal data considering different thermal effects, the modal CLFs between structural modes and acoustic modes are predicted by the Statistical modal Energy distribution Analysis. Then, the CLFs between the structural subsystem and the acoustic subsystem are calculated. The simulation models employed in this research include the coupled plate-cavity system and the cylindrical shell-cavity system. The influence of thermal effects on the CLFs is discussed. For the investigated cases, in which the boundaries of structural susbsystem are set to simply supported, the results demonstrate that the CLFs decrease with increasing temperature when only the temperature-dependent material properties are considered. However, when only the additional stress stiffness is considered, the CLFs experience a more dramatic decrease compared to when only the temperature-dependent material properties are taken into account. Moreover, when both effects are considered, the influence of the additional stress stiffness has a leading effect on the CLFs.
