Digital heritage portal interfaces are generally similar to digital library and search engine interfaces in displaying search results as a list of brief metadata records. The knowledge organization and search result display of these systems are item-centric, with little support for identifying relationships between items. This paper proposes a knowledge graph system and visualization interface as a promising solution for digital heritage systems to support users in browsing related items, understanding the relationships between items, and synthesizing a narrative on an issue. The paper discusses design issues for the knowledge graph, graph database, and graph visualization, and offers recommendations based on the authors' experience in developing three knowledge graph systems for archive and digital humanities resources: the Zubir Said personal archive collection at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore; Singapore Pioneers social network; and Polyglot Medicine knowledge graph of Asian traditional and herbal medicine. Purpose: The Listen to Learn for Life (L3) Assessment Framework is a framework that outlines how to systematically assess the links between the classroom environment, listening, learning and well-being. The purpose of this paper is to review the published literature to understand what is known about the characterisation of activity component of the L3 Assessment Framework and determine what is not known and needs to be investigated in future research. Design/methodology/approach: Literature reviews (Web searches for systematic, scoping or general reviews; scoping reviews following the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses extension for scoping reviews protocol; and extended Web searches) were conducted to characterise lecture, group work and independent work activities in terms of the perceptual setting, source degradation and transmission degradation. Findings: Most research that has been conducted is for classrooms in general and does not specify results specifically for lecture, group work and independent work, which is important for understanding how the learning environment changes with the different activities. What is known about the lecture, group work and independent work activities are discussed; however, it is noted that this often comes from only a few studies. Future research areas to contribute to this literature as well as fill current research gaps are proposed. Originality/value: To the best of the authors' knowledge, this paper is the first review paper to synthesize previous research characterising the classroom environment for different activities using the L3 Assessment Framework. File sharing, streaming media, collaborative computing, and other P2P systems are all unicast to establish the corresponding overlapping network. The superimposed network is generally carried out based on the existing primary network. In this way, the access of each node is random. At the same time, this will cause the topological structure of the upper and lower layers to be inconsistent. This will increase the communication delay between nodes and cause an excellent bandwidth burden to the underlying network. The existing topology matching methods still face problems, such as poor scalability and long node aggregation time. This paper aims to design a topological distributed node aggregation method based on network coordination and distributed hash table (DHT) algorithm. This paper established a two-dimensional mesh model of nodes based on equal-distance concentric circles and divided into two equal areas. The parts of multiple namespaces correspond one by one according to their location. Because nodes are kept close, neighbours can be aggregated through DHT's primary "publish" and "search" primitives. Experimental results show that the TANRA method can match the network's topology under a slight delay and a large number of nodes. The goal of this study was to compile the list of highly cited papers in osteoporosis across Web of Science Clarivate Analytics to identify current trends in osteoporosis research. We searched the Web of Science on 18 February 2021 with a search strategy including osteoporosis and all its related keywords. Search results were limited to the highly cited papers published in the last 5 years (2016–2020). Our search strategy on the Web of Science database retrieved 94 highly cited papers, related to osteoporosis. Out of 94 included papers, the biggest portion was secondary studies (44.7%) followed by animals/preclinical studies (31.9%) and primary studies (23.4%). These papers received 12,748 citations with the average 135.6 citations per paper. The main focus of highly cited clinical studies was on interventions (mostly RCTs on newly approved anabolic agents, and on the rebound in vertebral fractures after denosumab discontinuation), followed by topics on risk assessment and epidemiology. The highly cited papers in osteoporosis tend to be secondary studies carried out in the USA with US governmental institutions and pharmaceutical companies grants. Searching for relevant material on the internet has become a big difficulty with the growing number of internet users and the large volume of data available on the internet. Traditional search engines return a lot of irrelevant results in response to a user's search query, wasting a lot of time and effort because the context and semantics of the user's request are not examined. This emphasizes the requirement for an embedded approach in the search engine, allowing semantic web search. Keyword based search engines fetch online pages by comparing the tokens in the user query to the tokens in the web documents. This strategy has several flaws. To overcome these obstacles, the suggested system employs semantic search using a Sentence transformer model. The system that has been proposed can speed up data retrieval and improve data searching to provide relevant outcomes to the user. The proposed model uses the arXiv dataset which contains an archive of research papers and using BERT and FAISS, it gives relevant research paper titles as the output to the query. Background: Stem cell-related studies have been increasingly conducted to facilitate the regeneration of degenerative discs. However, analyses of high-impact articles focused on this topic are rare. This study aimed to determine and summarize the most-cited studies examining stem cells in the context of intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). Methods: We searched the Web of Science (WoS) database for stem cell-related articles in IDD, and the 50 highest-cited papers were summarized. A correlation analysis was conducted to determine the relationship among WoS citations, Altmetric Attention Score (AAS), and Dimensions. Results: The number of citations of the top 50 manuscripts ranged from 92 to 370. The top three countries were the United States (14), China (10), and Japan (9). Spine (12) was the most prevalent journal, and this was followed by Biomaterials (6). Bone marrow-derived stem cells were the most common subject (38), and they were followed by nucleus pulposus-derived stem cells (4) and annulus fibrosus-derived stem cells (4). Humans were the most studied species (31), and the next most studied were rabbits (9) and rats (7). There was a very high correlation between WoS and Dimension citations (p < 0.001, r = 0.937). Conclusions: For the first time, the highest impact articles examining stem cells in the context of IDD were assessed together. The current study provides a deepened understanding of historical studies focused on stem cells in IDD and is beneficial for future studies in this field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: CINV is a frequent adverse response to cancer treatment. There is still much to learn about the pathophysiology and initiating event of CINV, which necessitates continued research despite decades of effort. Identifying the current foci of the complex disease and assessing the scientific impact of pertinent study are made more difficult by the abundance of publications on CINV. Therefore, our goals in this article are to evaluate developments in this field, examine patterns in research domains, and gauge the expansion of CINV research production globally. Methods: Articles about CINV published between 2012 and 2022 were found by searching the Web of Science Core Collection of Clarivate Analytics. The number of publications over time was visualized using Microsoft Office Excel 2019. CiteSpace and VOSviewer were utilized to create knowledge maps that analyzed collaborations between nations, organizations, and writers. They also presented the history of CINV research and highlighted its current areas of focus. Results: In this study, 846 papers in all were assessed. Most publications (237, 28.01%) came from the United States. University of Toronto was the most productive institution (34, 4.01%). With 25 articles published, or 2.96% of the total, Aapro Matti published the most. The most frequently published journal was found to be Supportive Care (158, 18.68%). "Palonosetron," "Moderately emetogenic chemotherapy," "5-HT3 receptor antagonist," and "Neurokinin 1 receptor antagonists" were considered the hot topics. It can be seen that the research focus is on the drug treatment of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Conclusion: Through bibliometric analysis, we were able to gain profound insights into CINV research for the first time. Introduction: Previous studies about the replicability of clinical research based on the published literature have suggested that highly cited articles are often contradicted or found to have inflated effects. Nevertheless, there are no recent updates of such efforts, and this situation may have changed over time. Methods: We searched the Web of Science database for articles studying medical interventions with more than 2000 citations, published between 2004 and 2018 in high-impact medical journals. We then searched for replications of these studies in PubMed using the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparator and Outcome) framework. Replication success was evaluated by the presence of a statistically significant effect in the same direction and by overlap of the replication's effect size confidence interval (CIs) with that of the original study. Evidence of effect size inflation and potential predictors of replicability were also analyzed. Results: A total of 89 eligible studies, of which 24 had valid replications (17 meta-analyses and 7 primary studies) were found. Of these, 21 (88%) had effect sizes with overlapping CIs. Of 15 highly cited studies with a statistically significant difference in the primary outcome, 13 (87%) had a significant effect in the replication as well. When both criteria were considered together, the replicability rate in our sample was of 20 out of 24 (83%). There was no evidence of systematic inflation in these highly cited studies, with a mean effect size ratio of 1.03 [95% CI (0.88, 1.21)] between initial and subsequent effects. Due to the small number of contradicted results, our analysis had low statistical power to detect predictors of replicability. Conclusion: Although most studies did not have eligible replications, the replicability rate of highly cited clinical studies in our sample was higher than in previous estimates, with little evidence of systematic effect size inflation. Purpose: This paper aims to identify alternatives for citizens to get out of the bubble when interacting with the information provided by the internet through search engines. This situation arises because there is extensive ignorance about the way search engines operate and the way advanced search algorithms operate, both situations based on the specific segmentation of the public, which creates difficulties in obtaining vast information that allows the contrast and development of diverse perspectives, which do not necessarily lead to the use of critical thinking. Design/methodology/approach: To achieve this contribution, a documentary-type investigation was carried out based on the review of the scientific literature on the subject, and the nature of this investigation, due to its purpose, being descriptive. The study takes as document selection criteria those original articles whose content relevance is linked to the purposes of this research proposal, published in scientific databases (SciELO, RedAlyC, Dialnet, ScienceDirect, WoS and Scopus) mostly between the years 2018 and 2023, in Spanish and English, that described the impact of bubble filters on full access to information and data privacy, for which the topics were addressed: internet search algorithms, bubble filters, search engines, privacy policies in search engines and management of personal data. Findings: At the beginning, this paper clarifies the concepts of search algorithms on the Internet, bubble filters, search engines and privacy policies in search engines, which made it possible to identify alternatives that would allow the user to face the silent reality of the algorithms and avoid the bias in the information that the algorithm provides, in addition, the need to generate algorithmic literacy mechanisms, training in the use of metasearch engines and education in algorithms is proposed, with which citizens can exercise critical thinking in the way they interact on the internet. Research limitations/implications: This is a theoretical proposal, in which various inferences are made from theoretical knowledge without fieldwork. In an increasingly mobile world, the integration of immigrants and displaced individuals is an important factor in creating cohesive and inclusive societies. Integration has different dimensions; this scoping review examines the conceptualization and measurement of economic integration among immigrants and refugees in the United States. Quantitative peer-reviewed journal papers measuring or conceptualizing the economic integration of first-generation documented adult immigrants or refugees in the United States, as well as relevant conceptual or theory papers on this topic, were included in the review. The search strategy included an online search of the Web of Science Core Collection, PsycINFO, Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts (ASSIA), and EconLit. Additional search strategies included scanning the reference lists of studies identified as relevant in the initial database search. An analysis of 72 studies included in the review using a data extraction table reveals seven key domains of economic integration: income and economic security, employment and occupational categories, assets and use of financial services, neighborhood and housing, health, education, and use of public assistance. Income and economic security emerged as the most common indicators of integration in the reviewed studies. Notably, less than half of the reviewed publications had a multidimensional approach to defining or measuring economic integration, and the majority of studies were focused on immigrants, with a smaller proportion dedicated to refugees. This review emphasizes the need for comprehensive frameworks in assessing economic integration among immigrants and refugees, reflecting the multifaceted nature of their economic integration experiences. Objective: In this paper we report how the United Kingdom's National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) search filters for treating and managing COVID-19 were validated for use in MEDLINE (Ovid) and Embase (Ovid). The objective was to achieve at least 98.9% for recall and 64% for precision. Methods: We did two tests of recall to finalize the draft search filters. We updated the data from an earlier peer-reviewed publication for the first recall test. For the second test, we collated a set of systematic reviews from Epistemonikos COVID-19 L.OVE and extracted their primary studies. We calculated precision by screening all the results retrieved by the draft search filters from a targeted sample covering 2020-23. We developed a gold-standard set to validate the search filter by using all articles available from the "Treatment and Management" subject filter in the Cochrane COVID-19 Study Register. Results: In the first recall test, both filters had 99.5% recall. In the second test, recall was 99.7% and 99.8% in MEDLINE and Embase respectively. Precision was 91.1% in a deduplicated sample of records. In validation, we found the MEDLINE filter had recall of 99.86% of the 14,625 records in the gold-standard set. The Embase filter had 99.88% recall of 19,371 records. Conclusion: We have validated search filters to identify records on treating and managing COVID-19. The filters may require subsequent updates, if new SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern or interest are discussed in future literature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Smart grids are one of the last decades' innovations in electrical energy. They bring relevant advantages compared to the traditional grid and significant interest from the research community. Assessing the field's evolution is essential to propose guidelines for facing new and future smart grid challenges. In addition, knowing the main technologies involved in the deployment of smart grids (SGs) is important to highlight possible shortcomings that can be mitigated by developing new tools. This paper contributes to the research trends mentioned above by focusing on two objectives. First, a bibliometric analysis is presented to give an overview of the current research level about smart grid deployment. Second, a survey of the main technological approaches used for smart grid implementation and their contributions are highlighted. To that effect, we searched the Web of Science (WoS), and the Scopus databases. We obtained 5,663 documents from WoS and 7,215 from Scopus on smart grid implementation or deployment. With the extraction limitation in the Scopus database, 5,872 of the 7,215 documents were extracted using a multi-step process. Background: Articular cartilage is a vital component of the joint, as it is frequently exposed to trauma and is affected by several conditions and diseases such as osteoarthritis and hemophilic arthropathy. Therefore, its evaluation and assessment are crucial. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) plays a critical role in its evaluation. With the recent advances in MRI imaging, multiple techniques and modalities allow both morphological and physiological evaluation of articular cartilage. Morphological methods allow the evaluation of articular cartilage structural integrity, and physiological methods allow the evaluation of chemical changes in its components even prior to degeneration. This aids in the early detection and improved assessment of articular cartilage pathology. Therefore, it permits a more accurate evaluation of patients with articular cartilage issues and defects, allowing for prompt treatment and high better quality of life. This article reviews recent and innovative MRI techniques and sequences for morphological and functional evaluation of the cartilage. Methods: A broad-based internet search, utilizing multiple academic search engines, Google Scholar, and PubMed, using the keywords for title and abstract. We found 17500 results and excluded 1700 papers from the title and abstract. Furthermore, papers emphasizing the imaging of specific peripheral joints without discussing the main techniques were excluded. Finally, our search yielded 15 articles highlighting the most recent imaging and evaluation techniques for articular cartilage. Recent advancements and new MRI techniques aid in elucidating the anatomical and physiological details of articular cartilage, allowing for the early detection and treatment of the articular cartilage. Conclusions: Multiple recent advances and new MRI techniques help better delineate the anatomical and physiological details of the articular cartilage, so early interference and treatment of cartilage defects. Context: Glioma, the most common primary malignant brain tumour, is a grave health concern associated with high morbidity and mortality. Current treatments, while effective to some extent, are often hindered by factors such as the blood--brain barrier and tumour microenvironment. this underscores the pressing need for exploring new pharmacologically active anti-glioma compounds. Methods: this review synthesizes information from major databases, including chemical Abstracts, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Abstracts, ScienceDirect, SciFinder, Google Scholar, Scopus, PubMed, Springer link and relevant books. Publications were selected without date restrictions, using terms such as 'Hymenocrater spp.,' 'phytochemical,' 'pharmacological,' 'extract,' 'essential oil' and 'traditional uses.' General web searches using Google and Yahoo were also performed. Articles related to agriculture, ecology, synthetic work or published in languages other than english or chinese were excluded. Results: the marine environment has been identified as a rich source of diverse natural products with potent antitumour properties. Conclusions: This paper not only provides a comprehensive review of marine-derived compounds but also unveils their potential in treating glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) based on functional classifications. It encapsulates the latest research progress on the regulatory biological functions and mechanisms of these marine substances in GBM, offering invaluable insights for the development of new glioma treatments. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to examine the empirical literature on the effects of informal competition on firm performance and provide directions for future research. Design/methodology/approach: We search the Scopus and Web of Science databases and adopt a specific protocol to perform a systematic review of the literature. We screen 536 documents and apply three inclusion criteria for filtering. Findings: We identify the impact of informal competition on nine types of formal firms' performance. We assess the findings according to the explanatory and response variables and the data samples of the articles reviewed. We find that five areas of focus are under-researched due to analyses of country or region-specific data, or lack of consensus because of contradicting findings. Originality/value: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first review of the empirical literature on the effects of informal competition on the performance of formal firms. This paper studies whether media cues can motivate interest in reporting suspected unauthorized immigrants to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Using web search data and automated content analysis of cable news transcripts, we examine the role of media coverage on searches for how to report immigrants to ICE and searches about immigrant crime and welfare dependency. We find significant and persistent increases in news segments on crime by after Trump's inauguration, accompanied by a sharp increase in searches for how to report immigrants. We find a strong association between daily reporting searches and immigration and crime coverage. Using searches during broadcasts of presidential speeches, we isolate the specific effect of anti-immigrant media coverage on searches for how to report immigrants to ICE. The findings indicate that the media's choices regarding the coverage of immigrants can have a strong impact on the public's interest in behaviour that directly harms immigrants. Purpose: The PICCH research project contributes to opening a dialogue between cultural heritage archives and users. Hence, the users are identified and their information needs, the search strategies they apply and the search challenges they experience are uncovered. Design/methodology/approach: A combination of questionnaires and interviews is used for collection of data. Questionnaire data were collected from users of three different audiovisual archives. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with two user groups: (1) scholars searching information for research projects and (2) archivists who perform their own scholarly work and search information on behalf of others. Findings: The questionnaire results show that the archive users mainly have an academic background. Hence, scholars and archivists constitute the target group for in-depth interviews. The interviews reveal that their information needs are multi-faceted and match the information need typology by Ingwersen. The scholars mainly apply collection-specific search strategies but have in common primarily doing keyword searching, which they typically plan in advance. The archivists do less planning owing to their knowledge of the collections. All interviewees demonstrate domain knowledge, archival intelligence and artefactual literacy in their use and mastering of the archives. The search challenges they experience can be characterised as search system complexity challenges, material challenges and metadata challenges. Originality/value: The paper provides a rare insight into the complexity of the search situation of cultural heritage archives, and the users' multi-facetted information needs and hence contributes to the dialogue between the archives and the users. BlenderBot 2.0 represents a significant advancement in open-domain chatbots by incorporating real-time information and retaining user information across multiple sessions through an internet search module. Despite its innovations, there are still areas for improvement. This paper examines BlenderBot 2.0's limitations and errors from three perspectives: model, data, and user interaction. From the data perspective, we highlight the challenges associated with the crowdsourcing process, including unclear guidelines for workers, insufficient measures for filtering hate speech, and the lack of a robust process for verifying the accuracy of internet-sourced information. From the user perspective, we identify nine types of limitations and conduct a thorough investigation into their causes. For each perspective, we propose practical methods for improvement and discuss potential directions for future research. Additionally, we extend our analysis to include perspectives in the era of large language models (LLMs), further broadening our understanding of the challenges and opportunities present in current AI technologies. This multifaceted analysis not only sheds light on BlenderBot 2.0's current limitations but also charts a path forward for the development of more sophisticated and reliable open-domain chatbots within the broader context of LLM advancements. Background: One of the main factors contributing to maternal morbidity and mortality is induced abortion. The WHO estimates that over 44 million induced abortions take place annually around the world. The majority of these abortions—about 50%—are unsafe, significantly increasing maternal morbidity and contributing to 13% of maternal deaths. Thus, this review aimed to estimate the pooled prevalence of induced abortion and its associated factors in Africa. Methods: To find literature on the prevalence of induced abortion and its associated factors, a thorough search of the internet databases such as PubMed/MEDLINE, African Journals Online, and Google Scholar was conducted. The data were extracted using a structured method of data collection. Software called STATA 14 was used to do the analysis. funnel plot and Egger regression test were used to evaluate potential publication bias. I2 statistics and Cochrane's Q were used to measure the heterogeneity at a p-value < 0.05. Results: 976 studies were found through a thorough search of electronic databases. Finally, 46 full-text abstract papers were included in this study. The estimated pooled prevalence of induced abortion was 16% (95% CI: 13%-19%). According to the sub-group analysis, most studies were conducted in Ethiopia, and the pooled prevalence was 19% (95% CI: 10%–30%). Similarly, the subgroup analysis by year of study showed that the prevalence of induced abortion was 39% (95% CI: 17%–64%) among studies conducted in 2019. Conclusion: The results of this study thus imply that the pooled prevalence of induced abortion is higher than that of earlier studies that were published in some nations. the data from this study are needed to support reproductive and adolescent health programmers and policymakers and to formulate recommendations for future clinical practice and guidelines. Stroke education materials are crucial for the recovery of stroke patients, but their effectiveness depends on their readability. The American Medical Association (AMA) recommends patient education materials be written at a sixth-grade level. Studies show existing paper and online materials exceed patients' reading levels and undermine their health literacy. Low health literacy among stroke patients is associated with worse health outcomes and decreased efficacy of stroke rehabilitation. We reviewed the readability of paper (i.e brochures, factsheets, posters) and online (i.e American Stroke Association, Google, Yahoo!) stroke patient education materials, reading level of stroke patients, accessibility of online health information, patients' perceptions on gaps in stroke information, and provided recommendations for improving readability. A PRISMA-guided systematic literature review was conducted using PUBMED, Google Scholar, and EbscoHost databases and "stroke", "readability of stroke patient education", and "stroke readability" search terms to discover English-language articles. A total of 12 articles were reviewed. SMOG scores for paper and online material ranged from 11.0 - 12.0 grade level and 7.8 - 13.95 grade level respectively. Reading level of stroke patients ranged from 3rd grade to 9th grade level or above. Accessibility of online stroke information was high. Structured patient interviews illustrated gaps in patient education materials and difficulty with comprehension. Paper and online patient education materials exceed the reading level of stroke patients and the AMA recommended 6th grade level. Click behavior is a typical user behavior in the web search. How to capture and model users' click behavior has always been a common research topic. However, there are few review studies on this topic. In this paper, we present a survey to comprehensively analyze click models of web search via types of models. Based on differences in research hypotheses and modeling methods, click models are generally divided into probability graph-based click models, neural network-based click models, and hybrid click models. Firstly, we give a discussion of click models in the extant literature, within which basic assumptions and their extensions, advantages and disadvantages for click models are presented. We also compare and analyze the characteristics and application scenarios of different types of models. Secondly, we choose eight representative click models and conduct comparative experiments on two real-world session datasets to compare their performance. Objective: Meta-analysis was used to assess the efficacy and safety of ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation combined with transhepatic artery embolization chemotherapy for hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods: Randomized controlled studies on ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation combined with transhepatic artery embolization chemotherapy for hepatocellular carcinoma were searched in the databases of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane library, web of science with a search deadline of March 14, 2024. Data were analyzed using Stata 15.0. Result: Six randomized controlled studies involving 520 individuals were finally included, the results of meta-analysis showed that ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation combined with TACE can improve objective response rate [RR = 1.52, 95%CI (1.28, 1.81)], improve disease control rate [RR = 1.15, 95%CI (1.06, 1.24)], The survival rate [RR = 1.34, 95%CI (1.19,1.51)] did not increase adverse reactions [RR = 1.34, 95%CI (1.00,1.79)]. Conclusion: Based on the findings of the current study, ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation combined with TACE was found to improve the objective remission rate, disease control rate, and did not increase adverse events in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. Introduction: The treatment of patients with a cochlear implant (CI) is usually an elective, complex and interdisciplinary process. As an important source of information, patients often access the internet prior to treatment. The quality of internet-based information regarding thematic coverage has not yet been analysed in detail. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyse the information on CI care available on the internet regarding its thematic coverage and readability. Material methods: Eight search phrases related to CI care were defined as part of the study. A checklist for completeness of thematic coverage was then created for each search phrase. The current German CI clinical practice guideline and the white paper on CI care in Germany were used as a basis. As a further parameter, readability was assessed using Flesch Reading Ease Scores. The search phrases were used for an internet search with Google. The first ten results were then analysed with regard to thematic coverage, readability and the provider of the website. Results: A total of 80 websites were identified, which were set up by 54 different providers (16 providers were found in multiple entries) from eight different provider groups. The average completeness of thematic coverage was 41.6 ± 28.2%. Readability according to the Flesch Reading Ease Score was categorised as "hard to read" on average (34.7 ± 14.2 points, range: 0–72). There was a negative statistically significant correlation between the thematic coverage of content and readability (Spearman's rank correlation: r = − 0.413, p = 0.00014). Summary: The completeness of thematic coverage of information on CI care available on the internet was highly heterogeneous and had a significant negative correlation with the readability. This result should be taken into account by both the providers of internet information and by patients when using internet-based information on CI care and help to further improve the quality of web-based information. Digital entrepreneurship is playing an increasingly prominent role for economic growth and development. However, the most effective methods of facilitating it remain unclear, as scholars continue to debate the factors that contribute to its success. We therefore conducted a comprehensive systematic literature review by searching the Web of Science and Scopus databases for empirical studies examining the drivers of successful digital entrepreneurship. By this first review paper on this topic, we were able to identify a total of 45 different drivers, encompassing subjective and objective factors at the individual, organizational, and regional/national levels. While certain drivers were specific to the digital context, such as smart-city initiatives, many aligned with those identified in broader research on entrepreneurial success, such as the educational attainment of founders. To enhance our understanding and facilitate action in promoting digital entrepreneurship, we propose a multi-level conceptual framework that places greater emphasis on specific digital-related drivers. The sexual exploitation of children and youth remains a critical issue within the child welfare system, despite the limited availability of models of care to support these vulnerable individuals. The START with the YOUTH (STAR‐Y) program adopts a preventative approach, offering personalized care and wraparound support to youth exhibiting at‐risk behaviours. This paper employs a case study methodology using both thematic and content analyses to longitudinally assess the effectiveness of this exploratory program. This evaluation encompasses a comprehensive assessment of various factors associated with the risk of sexual exploitation among program participants. Throughout the program's extended duration (originally planned for one year), predefined risk factors, including concerning Internet behaviours, were monitored and analysed. Qualitative data were gathered through interviews and observations, focusing on the experiences of both the youth and their foster parents. The results highlight the program's successful implementation, with youth enrollment (N = 3) demonstrating a reduction in sexual exploitation risk factors over time, including a decrease in behaviours such as concerning Internet usage. The importance of wraparound support and the foster parent‐youth relationship in mitigating risk and nurturing resilience became evident. This exploratory evaluation serves as the initial phase of a comprehensive assessment aimed at understanding how to effectively support youth within this population, including those at higher risk, such as those possibly involved in sex trafficking. The study's findings provide valuable insights into strategies for mitigating the risk of sexual exploitation among vulnerable youth, informing future endeavours to develop and implement similar programs within the child welfare system. The world is about to be swamped by an unprecedented wave of AI-generated content. We need reliable ways of identifying such content, to supplement the many existing social institutions that enable trust between people and organisations and ensure social resilience. In this paper, we begin by highlighting an important new development: providers of AI content generators have new obligations to support the creation of reliable detectors for the content they generate. These new obligations arise mainly from the EU's newly finalised AI Act, but they are enhanced by the US President's recent Executive Order on AI, and by several considerations of self-interest. These new steps towards reliable detection mechanisms are by no means a panacea—but we argue they will usher in a new adversarial landscape, in which reliable methods for identifying AI-generated content are commonly available. In this landscape, many new questions arise for policymakers. Firstly, if reliable AI-content detection mechanisms are available, who should be required to use them? And how should they be used? We argue that new duties arise for media and Web search companies arise for media companies, and for Web search companies, in the deployment of AI-content detectors. Secondly, what broader regulation of the tech ecosystem will maximise the likelihood of reliable AI-content detectors? We argue for a range of new duties, relating to provenance-authentication protocols, open-source AI generators, and support for research and enforcement. Along the way, we consider how the production of AI-generated content relates to 'free expression', and discuss the important case of content that is generated jointly by humans and AIs. This paper analyses the development level and trend of grey system theory (GST) over the past 40 years based on bibliometrics. Literature was searched using the Web of Science (WoS) databases. Literature analysis was carried out from eight aspects: paper publication, main journals publishing GST and its application, 20 highly cited articles, hot research topics, high-output scholars and their cooperation networks, the geographical distribution of scholars, finding agencies, and a comparison between papers obtained from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and WoS databases. Bibliometric analysis showed that while GST had developed slowly over the initial 20 years, it experienced a period of high-speed development over the last 20 years. Two journals the Journal of Grey System and Grey Systems: Theory and Application-play key roles in promoting the international development of GST. Professor Sifeng Liu and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics have been the most influential scholar and research center in GST, respectively. GST has attracted many scholars worldwide, and the number of papers published in international journals is increasing. Usage of large language models and chat bots will almost surely continue to grow, since they are so easy to use, and so (incredibly) credible. I would be more comfortable with this reality if we encouraged more evaluations with humans-in-the-loop to come up with a better characterization of when the machine can be trusted and when humans should intervene. This article will describe a homework assignment, where I asked my students to use tools such as chat bots and web search to write a number of essays. Even after considerable discussion in class on hallucinations, many of the essays were full of misinformation that should have been fact-checked. The rapid development of robot technology has introduced a substantial impact on manufacturing. Numerous studies have been carried out to apply collaborative robots (cobots) to address manufacturing productivity and ergonomics issues, which has brought extensive opportunities. In this context, a systematic literature search in the Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases was carried out by electronic and manual search. Thus, 59 relevant contributions out of 4488 studies were analyzed by using preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis (PRISMA). To provide an overview of the different results, studies are summarized according to the following criteria: country, author, year, study design, robot category, results, and future opportunities. The effects of cobots on safety, system design, workplace design, task scheduling, productivity, and ergonomics are discussed to provide a better understanding of the application of cobots in manufacturing. To incentive future research, this paper reviews the development of cobots in manufacturing and discusses future opportunities and directions from cobots and manufacturing system perspectives. The new and shocking situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic stimulated the analysis of its impact in discourse. Discourse analysts have concentrated on the use of metaphor to create specific conceptualizations of the disease aimed at communicating the events and developments while influencing public opinion. Similes have been given less attention but are equally telling when it comes to the conceptualization of the pandemic. In this paper we analyze a corpus of English and Spanish similes (about 100 examples from each language) where (corona)virus is the target. The examples were searched for on the Internet and cover a two-year period, from March 2020 to February 2022. The sources, mappings, and conceptual domains of the Covid-19 similes are analyzed in order to describe how the pandemic is conceptualized through the use of '(corona)virus is like X' similes. The coronavirus similes are classified according to three main domains, namely, natural forces and disasters, confrontation (including war), and arts and entertainment (including sports). Each domain conceptualizes the situation in different ways (so that citizens are presented as victims, fighters, experiencers, members of a team, etc.). Interestingly, there are many creative similes that cannot be classified into any general well-established domains and can only be accounted for by considering less conventional and more creative, culture-specific frames. Objective: This study used CiteSpace to look at the current state of research on epilepsy and synaptic plasticity and to point out the hotspots and frontiers. Method: We searched Web of Science (WoS) for studies related to epilepsy and synaptic plasticity. CiteSpace was used to construct network maps of cooperation across countries, institutions, and authors to identify frontiers and hotspots in epilepsy and synaptic plasticity research. Results: A total of 1700 studies on epilepsy and synaptic plasticity were retrieved from the WoS. The United States and Baylor College of Medicine were the most prolific nation and institution in this field with 680 and 28 publications, respectively. The most prolific author (11 articles) was Xuefeng Wang. The Journal of Neuroscience published the most articles (71, 6.71%) and had the most co-citations (1557, 4.57%). In this paper, the interaction and mechanism between epilepsy and synaptic plasticity, as well as future research hotspots, are highlighted. Conclusion: CiteSpace can reveal the institutions, leaders, journals, cited papers, and research hotspots involved in epilepsy and synaptic plasticity. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that visualizes the relationship between epilepsy and synaptic plasticity and provides references for future research directions. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic resulted in a surge of publications seeking to understand the SARS-CoV-2 virus. A byproduct of the rush to understand COVID-19 has been the publication and subsequent retraction of papers promoting unfounded treatments, such as ivermectin—an anti-parasitic medication. This study aims to determine the impact retracted studies may have had on ivermectin prescription rates. TriNetX was used to gather anonymized patient data from 67 healthcare organizations both within the USA (36,711 patients; 91.6%) and abroad (3,266 patients; 8.14%) to obtain prescribing rates for ivermectin between April 2020–September 2022. Google Trends was used to gauge online interest in purchasing ivermectin in relation to prescribing rates. We found that ivermectin use largely increased following periods in which later-retracted journal articles were written touting its potential benefits. Multiple spikes in Google searches were observed, with the first three local peaks occurring within the first, second, and third publication 'clusters,' respectively. The maximum peak for searches occurred just one month after the maximum number of ivermectin prescriptions. This information is important for understanding how health-related misinformation spreads, and how to best minimize and counteract the impact of such misinformation in the future. The Virtual Atomic and Molecular Data Centre (VAMDC) is a distributed infrastructure combining heterogeneous atomic and molecular (A &M) data from more than 41 autonomous databases. In this paper, we present the Species Database, a scientific web service which is a central catalogue providing a useful information on A &M species from all the VAMDC databases. The Species Database is one the key pillars in the technical architecture of the VAMDC, and from the user's point of view, it is the service to simply and immediately answer the question: Does VAMDC have data on my molecule/atom of interest? This work is structured as follows: After recalling the aims and needs that led to the construction of the Species Database, we will describe how it works, with increasing levels of complexity. First, we will describe how any user, even those with no knowledge of VAMDC, can easily use the dedicated web interface to search for and extract information. Then we will describe an API that more advanced users can use to interact with the Species Database in a more programmatic way. Two appendices cover some technical aspects that are not necessary for using the Species Database, but which may be of interest to readers wishing to understand implementation details and low-level technical subtleties. Objective: The Non-Opioid Pain Alleviation Information Network (NOPAINMN) project was designed to identify, consolidate, and map evidence-based non-opioid and non-pharmacological pain management complementary and integrative health (CIH) modalities for chronic pain management across Minnesota into a searchable and informational website (www.nopainmn.org ). Methods: The Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health's Pain Task Force White Paper identifying evidence-based research of non-pharmacological pain practice (NPPC) was reviewed and referenced. National and state certifying boards and accrediting organizations for NPPC modalities were accessed to identify Minnesota-based NPPC providers' name, business/health-system affiliation, address, contact information, and credentials. The NOPAINMN website displays these data in a consumer-facing website with searchable fields such as NPPC modality type, and location with varying distances. The website was β-tested by practitioners and stakeholders for optimization. Eight main NPPC modalities and their respective subcategories were identified and mapped: Acupuncture; Integrative Medical Care (Functional medicine consultation and Integrative medicine consultation); Massage Therapy; Mind–Body Therapies (Biofeedback, Clinical Hypnosis, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Music Therapy); Movement Therapies (Tai Chi, qigong, and Yoga Therapy); Psychology (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy); Rehabilitative Therapies (Physical and Occupational Therapy); and Spinal Manipulation. Results: All information compiled resulted in 17,155 providers/practitioners. Physical Therapy had the greatest number of reported providers (n = 5224), followed by Occupational Therapy (n = 3792), Psychology (n = 3324), Chiropractic (n = 3033), Acupuncture (n = 591), and Massage Therapy (n = 544). The Resource Map included 56 major health systems, 686 facilities, 2651 solo or private group practices, and 14 academic training schools. With web-based cross-referencing, providers and facilities were affiliated and linked with health systems to produce an interconnected mapping system. β-Testing with patients found that the website was reported as relatively easy to use and informative. Conclusion: The website was created to assist individuals, health care providers, insurance carriers, and health care facilities in finding evidence-based information and resources on NPPC to guide, support, and proactively manage and engage chronic pain patients across Minnesota. The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) has challenged academic institutions to ensure ethical practices and reward/promote merit. Adding formal insights into the importance of maintaining academic integrity, this paper examines the association of anti‐plagiarism/anti‐cheating policies with resources that facilitate such behavior. Using unique internet search indices of policies and resources, we find that the two are positively associated. This association is robust when internet policies are restricted to news searches, and include course syllabi. The findings reinforce the view that policies to check plagiarism/cheating likely lack teeth and maybe a step behind the resources that facilitate unethical behavior. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Motorcycle backpackers is an emerging niche market segment that can be placed in the overlap of drive tourism and backpacking. Within this context, Research note identifies motorcycle backpackers as an important subculture situated within contemporary backpackers. A quick Internet search will show numerous tourism providers are marketing their products and services to motorcycle backpackers in various destinations (e.g. , , and ). However, there is a dearth of research undertaken about motorcycle backpackers, possibly due to the blurry line separating them from backpackers and/or motorcycle tourists. Consequently, statistics about this group of tourists are also rarely presented in research, making it difficult to estimate the full potential of the market size accurately. There is a need for research on motorcycle backpackers as they represent a unique subculture situated within contemporary backpackers. This paper calls for research to develop a nuanced understanding of this niche tourist segment, which has implications for tourism and leisure scholarship, and tourism businesses. The global diversity of fungi has been estimated between 2 to 11 million species, of which only about 155 000 have been named. Most fungi are invisible to the unaided eye, but they represent a major component of biodiversity on our planet, and play essential ecological roles, supporting life as we know it. Although approximately 20 000 fungal genera are presently recognised, the ecology of most remains undetermined. Despite all this diversity, the mycological community actively researches some fungal genera more commonly than others. This poses an interesting question: why have some fungal genera impacted mycology and related fields more than others? To address this issue, we conducted a bibliometric analysis to identify the top 100 most cited fungal genera. A thorough database search of the Web of Science, Google Scholar, and PubMed was performed to establish which genera are most cited. The most cited 10 genera are Saccharomyces, Candida, Aspergillus, Fusarium, Penicillium, Trichoderma, Botrytis, Pichia, Cryptococcus and Alternaria. Case studies are presented for the 100 most cited genera with general background, notes on their ecology and economic significance and important research advances. This paper investigates the impact of smartphone trading on investor attention allocation. We find a positive connection between smartphone trading ratio and return comovement. Smartphone traders relatively pay less attention to firm-specific information and more to information at the market level than computer-based traders. The impact of smartphone trading is positively correlated to the Internet searching level but negatively correlated to social media discussion intensity and analyst following. In the last ten years the use of the internet as a health resource has transformed, and while patients increasingly consult online resources for health decision-making, less is known about how healthcare professionals (HCPs) currently discuss decision-making with internet informed patients (IIPs). In this paper we examine how HCPs perceive IIPs and specifically how bringing online information into appointments can prompt different communicative strategies around decision-making. Ten HCPs with experience working across different healthcare roles, took part in semi-structured interviews and discussed their interactions with IIPs around decision-making. Vignettes based on descriptions of real patients bringing online health information to their HCPs were used to prompt further discussion. The analysis identified two themes in relation to communication: (i) being honest about information sources and (ii) from compliance to coconstruction: improving communication around decision-making. HCPs were overwhelmingly positive toward IIPs and encouraged patients to be transparent about their online searching to understand their motivations, priorities, and concerns. Although compliance remains part of the narrative, HCPs recognized practical ways in which discussing online health information could improve HCP-patient communication around shared decision-making. We discuss the findings in relation to early work on communicative strategies between HCP’s and patients bringing resources to their consultations. We argue that for HCPs the concept of the internet as a provider of health information is no longer seen as inherently damaging or risky. There is growing acceptance of pre-consultation internet searching with the caveat that any information sourced online should inform rather than dictate decision-making with HCPs. Islam is a major world religion that has a universal system encompassing every aspect of daily human activities. In this regard, Islam also provides principles and values related to the practice of medicine. However, it is not known how much of the practices have been practiced in daily clinical settings. Therefore, this paper aims to chart the overview of the studies and publications that have been done related to the integration of Islamic principles and values being incorporated in clinical practice. This paper is a scoping review. Databases like PubMed, PLOS, BMJ, Cochrane, EBSCo, Emerald, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and ACI were used to conduct the literature search. MeSH terms like "Islam," "religion and medicine," and "attitude of medical staff" are among the keywords used, along with synonyms like "Islam," "Islamic," "Muslim," "medicine," "clinical," "practise," "healthcare," "professionals," "Islamic medical practise," "doctor," "nurse," and "healthcare professionals." The Boolean operators "AND" and "OR" were applied during the search. In addition to databases, manual internet searches were conducted to find relevant papers. The review has found that Islamic concepts and ideals have been sporadically incorporated into medical practice worldwide, whether by Muslim or non-Muslim healthcare professionals. The three key themes related to Islamic practice in medicine: are (a) attitude and character of healthcare professionals, (b) clinical decisionmaking, and (c) holistic spiritual care. There is still a big gap and differences in integrating Islamic values into clinical practice. Mobile game metrics have received attention since the emergence of big data technology and data-based decision-making. Among different metrics, the monthly active user number is usually significant because it shows the level of players' engagement and the profit of this game as a business. Therefore, the monthly active user number is valuable for researchers, analysts, and decision-makers interested in the mobile game industry. However, the actual monthly active user number data typically have the accuracy, accessibility, granularity, and cost problems. Therefore, a proxy to the monthly active user number would be helpful to facilitate the decision-making process. This paper proposes to capture user activity through the searches on the Internet from an information-seeking perspective. And the online search volume, wiki page view, social media posts and views are proposed as potential proxies. This paper proposes that the online search volume is an acceptable proxy for the monthly active user number in the context of Geo Augmented Reality (AR) mobile games through data analysis. Background: Innovation ecosystems are an important driver of regional economic growth and development. STEM assets connected to universities may play an important role in such ecosystems. Objective: To systematically review the literature relating to the effect of university STEM assets on regional economies and innovation ecosystems, providing a better understanding of how the impact is generated and constrained, as well as identifying any gaps in knowledge. Methods: Keyword and text word searches using the Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate), Econlit (EBSCO) and ERIC (EBSCO) were performed in July 2021 and February 2023. Papers were double screened on abstract and title, and were included if there was consensus that they fulfilled the inclusion criteria of: (i) relating to an OECD country; (ii) having been published between 1 January 2010 and 28 February 2023; and (iii) concerning the impact of STEM assets. Data extraction was undertaken for each article by a single reviewer and checked by a second reviewer. Due to the heterogeneity of the study designs and outcome measures used, it was not possible to perform a quantitative synthesis of results. A narrative synthesis was subsequently undertaken. Results: Of the 162 articles identified for detailed review, 34 were accepted as being sufficiently relevant to the study to be included for final analysis. Three important features identified were that the literature: i) is predominately concerned with supporting new businesses; ii) describes a high level of involvement with a university in providing that support; and iii studies economic impacts at local, regional and national levels. Discussion: The evidence points to a gap in the literature relating to looking at the broader impact of STEM assets and any corresponding transformational, system-level effects that go beyond narrowly defined, short to medium-term outcomes. Over the decades, a tremendous increase has been witnessed in the production of documents available in digital form. The increased production of documents has gained so much momentum that their rate of production jumps two-fold every five years. These articles are searched over the internet via search engines, digital libraries, and citation indexes. However, the retrieval of relevant research papers for user queries is still a pipedream. This is because scientific documents are not indexed based on some subject classification hierarchies. Hence, the classification of these documents becomes a challenging task for the researchers. Classification of the documents can be two-fold: one way is to assign a single label to each document and the other is to assign multi-labels to each document based on its belonging domains. Classification of the documents can be performed by using either the available metadata or the whole content of the documents. While performing classification, there are many challenges which may belong to the dataset, feature selection technique, preprocessing methodology, and which classification model is suitable for the classification of the documents. This paper highlights the issues for single-label and multi-label classification by using either metadata or content of the documents and why metadata-based approaches are better than content-based approaches in terms of feasibility. When facing limited healthcare resources, bibliometric analyses can guide researchers and funding parties toward areas where reallocation or more focus on research activity is warranted. The main objective of this study was to identify the trends of the top 100 cited articles on peri‐implantitis research as the first study of its kind. Methods: A Web of Science search, using the keywords "peri‐implantitis or periimplantitis" was built to create a database of the most‐cited articles. Articles were ranked by citation count and screened by two independent reviewers. The bibliometric characteristics of the studies were gathered and analyzed using several bibliometric software. Author collaborations, author clusters, and keyword co‐occurrence network analyses were also performed. The correlation between the citation count and the age of each article was tested. Results: The top 100 cited papers were published from 1994 to 2018 and the total citation counts ranged from 119 to 972 with 244.5 citations/paper on average. There was no correlation between the age of the articles and the citation count (p‐value = 0.67). 21% of the studies consisted of prospective clinical studies. 35% of the papers focused on treatment and prevention of peri‐implantitis while 65% concerned epidemiology. The top three most prolific countries were Sweden (n = 31), Germany (n = 15), and Switzerland (n = 13). We found 12 authors who had greater than five publications on the list. Also, the most published journal was Clinical Oral Implants Research. Conclusion: This study provides insight into the characteristics and quality of the most highly cited peri‐implantitis literature. This revealed a deficiency in terms of the number of studies on treatment strategies as well as a higher level of evidence studies among the most‐ impactful papers on peri‐implantitis at the moment. The bioethics research conducted in Ibero‐American countries has been very much restricted to its own realm. The aim of this study was to perform a bibliometric evaluation of bioethics papers by authors affiliated with Ibero‐American institutions, and to determine how their work influences global bioethics literature. We performed a literature search in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoS CC) and Scopus. We identified a total of 5,975 documents, of which 84.3% were articles, 11.6% reviews and 4.1% book chapters. The median number of citations per paper was higher in English‐language journals. Only 10 articles published between 2010 and 2019 in peer‐reviewed bioethics journals and produced exclusively by authors from Ibero‐American institutions garnered more than 15 citations. Our study suggests that if researchers from Ibero‐American institutions want to influence global bioethical thinking, they must make the required leap in quality to be able to publish in high‐quality bioethics and mainstream journals.
