Abstract
The article focuses on the legislation of Bill 203 or The Jordan's Principle Implementation Act as well as the involvement of physician Jon Gerrard to the bill in Manitoba. It discusses the passage and reception of the bill in the Legislature, the House Resolution in 2008, the terms in implementing Jordan's Principle, and examples of Jordan's Principle in action. The advocacy of Gerrard for the health issues of children and on the implementation of Jordan's Principle is also mentioned.

Abstract
The article presents information on a proposed rule issued by the U.S. Food and Nutrition Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture with an intention to amend the provisions of the U.S. Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 affecting the management of the Child and Adult Care Food Program. The proposal will be made in accordance with the executive orders and the U.S. Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act. The public comments have been invited till June 8, 2012.
