Abstract

A new report from the University of Guilan in Rasht, Iran, discusses advances in the field of obesity, fitness, and wellness. The report focuses on the development of a new algorithm called Pleach, which is designed to solve the Pure Parsimony Haplotyping (PPH) problem. The algorithm uses a divide-and-conquer technique to solve large instances of the PPH problem by dividing it into smaller sub-problems and combining the solutions. The algorithm's performance was evaluated through implementation on real and simulated instances and compared to two existing methods.
