The article focuses on the possibilities of digital geolinguistics, using the project VerbaAlpinaas an example. Topics include three stages of the project investigated the lexis of dialects spoken in the Alpine region related to three different conceptual domains; and VerbaAlpina combines linguistic atlases and dictionaries (printed or digital ones) and crowdsourcing tools to guarantee diachronic coverage and overcome the inconsistencies of traditional atlases.

The article informs about the Hebrew-French dictionaries which offer learning a foreign language, and a fundamental practical objective of contrastive linguistics. The article focuses on development of digital memories in the sciences, coupled with the crisis in the humanities and the difficulty of revealing the internal relations of knowledge, impose new requirements on publishing infrastructure. It highlights the main points of application of these forces to overcome splintered encyclopedism. It also mentions issue is web writing, the intellective technologies that make these new intelligence "environments" productive.
