The article reports that redundancies can diminish the chances of catastrophic failure in engineering. It states that several root causes of failure have been identified by engineers, that are related to the need of improvement in technical and engineering sciences and behavioral sciences. It mentions that faulty computer hardware and software can be neglected during meeting deadlines and budgets. It presents that improvement in training of end users has been seen for reducing system failures and improving system integrity.
