A trend in the development of spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology is the shift from a single-satellite repeated observation mode to a multi-satellite collaborative observation mode. However, current multi-satellite collaborative geolocation algorithms face challenges, such as geometric model mismatch and poor baseline estimation accuracy, arising from highly dynamic changes among multi-satellites. This paper introduces a high-precision and efficient geolocation algorithm for a spaceborne bistatic interferometric SAR (BiInSAR) system based on an improved range–Doppler (IRD) model. The proposed algorithm encompasses three key contributions. Firstly, a comprehensive description of the spatial baseline geometric model unique to the bistatic configuration is provided, with a specific focus on deriving the perpendicular baseline expression. Secondly, IRD geolocation functions are established to meet the specific requirements of the bistatic configuration. Then, a novel BiInSAR geolocation algorithm based on the IRD's functions is proposed, which can significantly improve the target geolocation accuracy by modifying the range–Doppler equation to suit the bistatic configuration. Meanwhile, a low-coupling parallel calculation method is proposed, which can improve the calculation speed by two to three times. Finally, the accuracy and efficiency of the algorithm are demonstrated using experimental data acquired by the TH-2 satellite, which is China's first spaceborne BiInSAR system. The experimental results prove that the IRD algorithm exhibits geolocation accuracy with an average error of less than 1 m and a standard deviation of less than 2.5 m while maintaining computational efficiency at a calculation speed of 1,429,678 pixels per second. Solving Rank Constrained Least Squares via Recursive Importance Sketching In statistics and machine learning, we sometimes run into the rank-constrained least squares problems, for which we need to find the best low-rank fit between sets of data, such as trying to figure out what factors are affecting the data, filling in missing information, or finding connections between different sets of data. This paper introduces a new method for solving this problem called the recursive importance sketching algorithm (RISRO), in which the central idea is to break the problem down into smaller, easier parts using a unique technique called "recursive importance sketching." This new method is not only easy to use, but it is also very efficient and gives accurate results. We prove that RISRO converges in a local quadratic-linear and quadratic rate under some mild conditions. Simulation studies also demonstrate the superior performance of RISRO. In this paper, we propose a recursive importance sketching algorithm for rank-constrained least squares optimization (RISRO). The key step of RISRO is recursive importance sketching, a new sketching framework based on deterministically designed recursive projections, and it significantly differs from the randomized sketching in the literature. Several existing algorithms in the literature can be reinterpreted under this new sketching framework, and RISRO offers clear advantages over them. RISRO is easy to implement and computationally efficient, and the core procedure in each iteration is to solve a dimension-reduced least squares problem. We establish the local quadratic-linear and quadratic rate of convergence for RISRO under some mild conditions. We also discover a deep connection of RISRO to the Riemannian Gauss–Newton algorithm on fixed rank matrices. The effectiveness of RISRO is demonstrated in two applications in machine learning and statistics: low-rank matrix trace regression and phase retrieval. The sparse triangular solver (SpTRSV) is mostly used for scientific and engineering applications. The structured-grid triangular solver of regular dependencies (STRSV) is a special kind of SpTRSV. Some general SpTRSVs that disregards the regularity of the matrix are unsuitable for solving this problem. This paper proposes an efficient parallel algorithm for STRSV on the SW26010 (a kind of China independently designed many-core processors), namely swStructTRSV. The algorithm makes full use of the fine-grained and low latency communication characteristics of the SW26010 to reduce the waiting time for synchronization, maximizes the regularity of access to improve memory access bandwidth, and achieves overlap between memory access and computation simultaneously. Moreover, the idea of the algorithm can be extended to incomplete LU factorization (ILU factorization) because of consistent dependencies. The experimental results on a core group(8 * 8 network composed of 64 cores) of SW26010 show that swStructTRSV can achieve an average speedup of over 30 in the sequential version. swStructTRSV on SW26010 achieves solving speedups of 2.2 and 6.3 over the fast STRSV (fSpTRSV) previously implemented on SW26010 and MKL on Intel Xeon Gold 6132, respectively. swStructTRSV significantly outperforms cuSparse on NVIDIA TITAN RTX in terms of overall execution time. This paper presents a massively parallel approach of the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (PMLFMA) on homegrown many-core SW26010 cluster of China, noted as (SW-PMLFMA), for 3-D electromagnetic scattering problems. In this approach, the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) octree is first partitioned among management processing elements (MPEs) of SW26010 processors following the ternary partitioning scheme using the message passing interface (MPI). Then, the computationally intensive parts of the PMLFMA on each MPI process, matrix filling, aggregation and disaggregation are accelerated by using all the 64 computing processing elements (CPEs) in the same core group of the MPE via the Athread parallel programming model. Different parallelization strategies are designed for many-core accelerators to ensure a high computational throughput. In coincidence with the special characteristic of local Lagrange interpolation, the compressed sparse row (CSR) and the compressed sparse column (CSC) sparse matrix storage format is used for storing interpolation and anterpolation matrices, respectively, together with a specially designed cache mechanism of hybrid dynamic and static buffers using the scratchpad memory (SPM) to improve data access efficiency. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of dementia. Accurate prediction and diagnosis of AD and its prodromal stage, i.e., mild cognitive impairment (MCI), is essential for the possible delay and early treatment for the disease. In this paper, we adopt the data from the China Longitudinal Aging Study (CLAS), which was launched in 2011, and includes a joint effort of 15 institutions all over the country. Four thousand four hundred and eleven people who are at least 60 years old participated in the project, where 3,514 people completed the baseline survey. The survey collected data including demographic information, daily lifestyle, medical history, and routine physical examination. In particular, we employ ensemble learning and feature selection methods to develop an explainable prediction model for AD and MCI. Five feature selection methods and nine machine learning classifiers are applied for comparison to find the most dominant features on AD/MCI prediction. The resulting model achieves accuracy of 89.2%, sensitivity of 87.7%, and specificity of 90.7% for MCI prediction, and accuracy of 99.2%, sensitivity of 99.7%, and specificity of 98.7% for AD prediction. We further utilize the SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) algorithm to visualize the specific contribution of each feature to AD/MCI prediction at both global and individual levels. Consequently, our model not only provides the prediction outcome, but also helps to understand the relationship between lifestyle/physical disease history and cognitive function, and enables clinicians to make appropriate recommendations for the elderly. Background: This paper aims to present open-source computer simulation programs developed to simulate, track, and estimate the COVID-19 outbreak. Methods: The programs included two separate parts, one set of programs built in Simulink with a block diagram display, and another one coded as a script in MATLAB R2020b. The mathematical model used in this package was the suspectable-infected-removed (SIR), suspectable-exposed-infected-removed (SEIR), and susceptible-exposed-infected-recovereddeceased (SEIRD) models represented by a set of differential-algebraic equations. It can be easily modified to develop new models for the problem. A generalized method was adopted to simulate worldwide outbreaks in an efficient, fast, and simple way. Results: To get a good tracking of the virus spread, a sum of sigmoid functions was proposed to capture any dynamic changes in the data. The parameters used for the input (infection and recovery rate functions) were computed using the parameter estimation tool in MATLAB. Several statistical methods were applied for the rate function, including linear, Mean±SD and root mean square (RMS). In addition, an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) was employed and proposed to train the model and predict its output. Conclusion: This procedure is presented in such a way that it can be generalized and applied in other parts and applications of estimating the scenarios of an event, including the potential of several models, including suspectable-infected-removed (SIR), which is sensitive to pollution, etc. This program can be used as an educational tool or for research studies and this article promises some lasting contributions in the field of COVID-19. In landslide disaster warning, a variety of monitoring and warning methods are commonly adopted. However, most monitoring and warning methods cannot provide information in advance, and serious losses are often caused when landslides occur. To advance the warning time before a landslide, an innovative advance landslide prediction and warning model based on a stacking fusion algorithm using Baishuihe landslide data is proposed in this paper. The Baishuihe landslide area is characterized by unique soil and is in the Three Gorges region of China, with a subtropical monsoon climate. Based on Baishuihe historical data and real-time monitoring of the landslide state, four warning level thresholds and trigger conditions for each warning level are established. The model effectively integrates the results of multiple prediction and warning submodels to provide predictions and advance warnings through the fusion of two stacking learning layers. The possibility that a risk priority strategy can be used as a substitute for the stacking model is also discussed. Finally, an experimental simulation verifies that the proposed improved model can not only provide advance landslide warning but also effectively reduce the frequency of false warnings and mitigate the issues of traditional single models. Background: Pulse width, which can reflect qi, blood excess, and deficiency, has been used for diagnosing diseases and determining the prognosis in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). This study aimed to devise an objective method to measure the pulse width based on an array pulse diagram for objective diagnosis. Methods: The channel 6, the region wherein the pulse wave signal is the strongest, is located in the middle of the pulse sensor array and at the guan position of cunkou during data collection. Therefore, the main wave (h1) time of the pulse wave was collected from the channel 6 through calculation. The left h1 time was collected from the remaining 11 channels. The amplitudes at these time points were extracted as the h1 amplitudes for each channel. However, the pulse width could not be calculated accurately at 12 points. Consequently, a bioharmonic spline interpolation algorithm was used to interpolate the h1 amplitude data obtained from the horizontal and vertical points, yielding 651 (31 × 21) h1 amplitude data. The 651 data points were converted into a heat map to intuitively calculate the pulse width. The pulse width was calculated by multiplying the number of grids on the vertical axis with the unit length of the grid. The pulse width was determined by TCM doctors to verify the pulse width measurement accuracy. Meanwhile, a color Doppler ultrasound examination of the volunteers' radial arteries was performed and the intravascular meridian widths of the radial artery compared with the calculated pulse widths to determine the reliability. Results: The pulse width determined using the maximal h1 amplitude method was comparable with the radial artery intravascular meridian widths measured using color Doppler ultrasound. The h1 amplitude was higher in the high blood pressure group and the pulse width was greater. Conclusions: The pulse width determined using the maximal h1 amplitude was objective and accurate. The time-effective mapping of erosion gullies is crucial for monitoring and early detection of developing erosional progression. However, current methods face challenges in obtaining large-scale erosion gully networks rapidly due to limitations in data availability and computational complexity. This study developed a rapid method for extracting erosion gully networks by integrating interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) and the relative elevation algorithm (REA) within the Huangfuchuan Basin, a case basin in the northern Loess Plateau, China. Validation in the study area demonstrated that the proposed method achieved an F1 score of 81.94%, representing a 9.77% improvement over that of the reference ASTER GDEM. The method successfully detected small reliefs of erosion gullies using the InSAR-refined DEM. The accuracy of extraction varied depending on the characteristics of the gullies in different locations. The F1 score showed a positive correlation with gully depth (R2 = 0.62), while the fragmented gully heads presented a higher potential of being missed due to the resolution effect. The extraction results provided insights into the erosion gully networks in the case study area. A total of approximately 28,000 gullies were identified, exhibiting pinnate and trellis patterns. Most of the gullies had notable intersecting angles exceeding 60°. The basin's average depth was 64 m, with the deepest gully being 140 m deep. Surface fragmentation indicated moderate erosive activity, with the southeastern loess region showing more severe erosion than the Pisha sandstone-dominated central and northwestern regions. The method described in this study offers a rapid approach to map gullies, streamlining the workflow of erosion gully extraction and enabling efficiently targeted interventions for erosion control efforts. The construction and operation of China's rail transit system have entered a high-speed development stage, and the rapid increase of train speed and mileage has brought greater challenges to the safety and reliability of the rail transit system. Network planning evaluation is the key to the early decision-making of urban rail transit project, which directly determines the success or failure of the whole project. How to scientifically and reasonably evaluate the urban rail transit information resource network planning has become a difficult problem for many urban planners to solve. Therefore, this paper studies the optimization of the communication resource allocation algorithm and the comprehensive evaluation of its application for urban rail transit planning. In this paper, based on CVNN structure, the network prototype is an extension of RVNN structure. In the abstract, its processing unit is composed of a pair of real-number processors that can realize certain operations. HNN is a fully connected recurrent neural network based on the idea of the energy function, which is helpful to understand the calculation mode of HNN, and the research shows that HNN can solve many combinatorial optimization problems. In addition, the combination of neural network and genetic algorithm with simulated annealing mechanism can also bring new directions for research. On the basis of experimental analysis, it can be concluded that in general, the error reduction rate of the optimization scheme designed in this paper can reach 58.6% on average. Due to the large load density in individual areas, the detection of short-circuit current must be improved as an important issue. The purpose of this paper is to study how to improve the practical model of short-circuit current calculation of photovoltaic power plants, so that it can be well applied to the current high-density current detection in China. Therefore, this paper improves the recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm and applies it to the practical model of short-circuit current calculation of photovoltaic power plants and describes the improvement process of the algorithm in detail. At the same time, this paper designs relevant experiments and analysis to count the data of the improved RLS algorithm in the short-circuit current calculation of the actual photovoltaic power station and combines the data of this part to test and analyze the ability of the algorithm. The experimental results in this paper show that the improved RLS algorithm has a very good improvement in the calculation accuracy of the short-circuit current calculation of photovoltaic power plants in the actual model calculation. The proper application of machine learning and genetic algorithms in the early stage of library design can obtain better all-around building performance. The all-around performance of the library, such as indoor temperature, solar radiation, indoor lighting, etc., must be fully considered in the initial design stage. Aiming at building performance optimization and based on the method of "generative design", this paper constructs the library's comprehensive performance evaluation workflow and rapid prediction combined with the LightGBM algorithm. A library in a cold region of China is taken as the research object to verify its application. In this study, 5000 scheme samples generated in the iterative genetic optimization process were taken as data sets. The LightGBM algorithm was used to classify and predict design schemes, with a precision of 0.78, recall rate of 0.93, and F1-Score of 0.851. This method can help architects to fully exploit the optimization potential of the building's all-around performance in the initial stage of library design and ensure the timely interaction and feedback between design decisions and performance evaluation. Regarding the problem of epidemic outbreak prevention and control, infectious disease dynamics models cannot support urban managers in reducing urban-scale healthcare costs through community-scale control measures, as they usually have difficulty meeting the requirements for simulation at different scales. In this paper, we propose combining contact networks at different spatial scales to study the COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai from March to July 2022, calculate the initial R t through the number of cases at the beginning of the outbreak, and evaluate the effectiveness of dynamic non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) adopted at different time periods in Shanghai using our proposed approach. In particular, our proposed contact network is a three-layer multi-scale network that is used to distinguish social interactions occurring in areas of different sizes, as well as to distinguish between intensive and non-intensive population contacts. This susceptible–exposure–infection–quarantine–recovery (SEIQR) epidemic model constructed based on a multi-scale network can more effectively assess the feasibility of small-scale control measures, such as assessing community quarantine measures and mobility restrictions at different moments and phases of an epidemic. Our experimental results show that this model can meet the simulation needs at different scales, and our further discussion and analysis show that the spread of the epidemic in Shanghai from March to July 2022 can be successfully controlled by implementing a strict long-term dynamic NPI strategy. Intelligent compaction (IC) technology have been used for quality control and quality assurance (QC/QA) in subgrade construction. The effective regression correlations between Intelligent Compaction Measurement Values (ICMV) and In-situ Measurement Values (ISMV, including compaction degree and subgrade modulus ELWD) are the essential prerequisite of using IC technology for QC/QA. This paper presents the results from an experimental research study that was conducted from a practical subgrade project of China to explore the regression relationships between ICMV and ISMV. Three types of ICMV, including CMV, CCV and Evib, were collected along with the corresponding positions of the rollers. Two types of ISMV, containing compaction degree and ELWD, were measured by ring sampler method and light weight deflectometer (LWD) at specified test points, respectively. Based on these data, the influences of roller parameters and subgrade properties on the regression relationships of ICMV and ISMV were investigated. In addition, linear regression and 5 nonlinear regression algorithms were compared. The results suggest that ICMV reflect the stiffness of subgrade more than reflecting the density. In the regression of ICMV and ISMV, subgrade properties are more important than roller parameters while both of them should not be neglected. The influences of underlying stiffness and roller amplitude are linear while that of roller speed and moisture content are nonlinear. Nonlinear algorithms, especially the random forest, have the better performance compared to linear algorithm. Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is an integrated navigation technique that can be used for aircraft positioning and attitude retrieval, regardless of weather conditions. The key aspect of the entire system is interference fringe matching, which has not been extensively researched in existing literature. To address this gap, this paper proposes a terrain-feature-based interference fringe-matching algorithm. The proposed algorithm first extracts mountain line features from the interference fringes and identifies mountain branch points as key points for feature matching. A threshold is set to eliminate false detections of mountain branch points caused by phase mutation. Matching is then carried out by combining the mountain line features and curvature design feature descriptors of the area around a branch point. The proposed algorithm is verified using interference fringe data obtained from an actual flight experiment in Inner Mongolia, China, compared to a reference interference fringe dataset with errors. The results show that, under the condition of position error, the proposed algorithm yields 72 matching inliers with a precision of 0.103, a recall of 0.128, and an F1-Score of 0.144. Compared to traditional algorithms, our proposed algorithm significantly improves the problem of mismatch and opens up new possibilities for downstream interference fringe matching navigation technology. A large number of insect pests in the forest will seriously affect the construction of forest resources and agriculture in China. In this regard, in order to deeply understand and analyze the existing forest pest detection technology, it is found that it cannot meet practical needs. In order to prevent the harm caused by forest pests, it is necessary to correctly identify the types of pests and take targeted control measures. Therefore, this paper proposes a forest pest detection algorithm based on improved YOLOX. Firstly, aiming at the problem that there are few image data of real deep forest pests in the wild, we use Mosaic, Mixup, and random erasure data enhancement to preprocess the images. Secondly, in order to extract fine-grained features, shallow information is introduced into the existing network architecture, and a two-way cross-scale feature fusion mechanism is adopted. In recent years, for China, animation industry is a relatively new and mature emerging national sunrise industry after animation industry, which appears on the world stage more and more frequently and is widely concerned and valued by people from all over the world. Therefore, this paper innovatively uses the convolutional neural network algorithm to innovate the color matching generation of animation characters and improve the traditional technology of color matching for animation characters. In this paper, we mainly use Generative Adversarial Network (GAN), Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Network and VGG model, and multiscale discriminator theory and use ACGAN research method. And we study this paper's innovative LMV-ACGAN research method, and we have come to the conclusion that other models have higher collapse rate than this model; this model has higher color matching of anime characters. In order to effectively recommend outdoor sports to users, a useful attempt was made in the personalized recommendation system for outdoor sports in this paper. The specific work of this paper is as follows: firstly, the current situation of outdoor sports in China was summarized, and the related technologies of the recommendation system were studied, including user modeling technology, recommendation target modeling technology, and recommendation algorithm. In order to obtain better recommendation effect, this paper proposes to mix user-based collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm, project-based collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm, and content-based recommendation algorithm. The hybrid algorithm adopts the way of feature expansion and weighted combination. Firstly, the hybrid model (model 1) of user-based collaborative filtering recommendation and content-based recommendation is obtained. However, in recent years, the phenomenon of following the trend of rural construction has been particularly serious, and many villages have lost their original features. To solve the above problems, the genetic algorithm can be used to further explore the traditional culture of urbanization construction. A genetic algorithm is a natural evolutionary process that imitates natural selection and genetic operation in nature to obtain optimal solution, in which genetic operation mainly includes the processes of gene replication, crossover, and mutation. This paper studies the traditional culture of urbanization construction based on the genetic algorithm under the concept of environmental protection. Among the accuracy of urban construction land expansion, in 2018, the accuracy of ant colony algorithm, data mining algorithm, and particle swarm optimization algorithm is 58%, 51.8%, and 56.7%, respectively. The accuracy of this genetic algorithm is as high as 58.8%. It can be seen that the genetic algorithm in this paper has the highest accuracy in the expansion of urban construction land. Therefore, in the process of large-scale urbanization based on the genetic algorithm, we should pay attention to not being separated from traditional culture, not letting farmers lose their regional culture, local culture, and grassroots culture, and protecting the cultural-ecological environment on which these cultures depend. In order to solve the problems of machine translation efficiency and translation quality, this paper proposes an English translation evaluation system based on the BP neural network algorithm. This method provides users with a more intelligent machine translation service experience. With the help of the BP neural network algorithm, taking English online translation as the research object, Google's translation quality is the best, with an error frequency of only 167, while Baidu translation and iFLYTEK translation in China have a high error rate of 266 and 301, respectively, which is much higher than Google translation. A model of machine translation evaluation based on the neural network algorithm is proposed to better solve the disadvantages of traditional English machine translation. In the era of "Internet +," the world economy is increasingly globalized and informatized, the development of China's B2C e-commerce is facing unprecedented opportunities, but it is also constrained by consumption risks. Consumption risk will make consumers have a crisis of trust in e-commerce, which brings uncertainty to the development of B2C. Therefore, it is very necessary to predict and prevent consumption risks in B2C e-commerce and take corresponding legal countermeasures. It is well known that neural networks (NNs) have strong predictive ability, but there are also problems such as lack of stability. As a result, in order to improve the prediction ability of neural network, principal component analysis and particle swarm technology are proposed in this paper as well as its stability and prediction error. The risk prediction accuracy of the BP NN (BPNN) technique was the lowest at 60% and the maximum at 70%, according to the experimental results of this research. The GA-BP technique has the lowest risk prediction accuracy of 80 percent. The risk prediction accuracy of the PSO-BP method is the lowest with 90% and the highest with 100%. Although the NN before the improvement can effectively predict the consumption risk, the risk prediction ability of the improved NN combined with principal component analysis and particle swarm algorithm is higher. However, due to the complex human physiology and individual differences, its development is limited. Based on the aging trend of the population and clinical needs, this paper proposes a bowel sound acquisition system and a defecation pre-warning method and system based on a semi-supervised generative adversarial network. A network model was established to predict defecation using bowel sounds. Background: Dento-maxillofacial deformities are common problems. Orthodontic–orthognathic surgery is the primary treatment but accurate diagnosis and careful surgical planning are essential for optimum outcomes. This study aimed to establish and verify a machine learning–based decision support system for treatment of dento-maxillofacial malformations. Methods: Patients (n = 574) with dento-maxillofacial deformities undergoing spiral CT during January 2015 to August 2020 were enrolled to train diagnostic models based on five different machine learning algorithms; the diagnostic performances were compared with expert diagnoses. Accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and area under the curve (AUC) were calculated. The adaptive artificial bee colony algorithm was employed to formulate the orthognathic surgical plan, and subsequently evaluated by maxillofacial surgeons in a cohort of 50 patients. The objective evaluation included the difference in bone position between the artificial intelligence (AI) generated and actual surgical plans for the patient, along with discrepancies in postoperative cephalometric analysis outcomes. Results: The binary relevance extreme gradient boosting model performed best, with diagnostic success rates > 90% for six different kinds of dento-maxillofacial deformities; the exception was maxillary overdevelopment (89.27%). AUC was > 0.88 for all diagnostic types. Median score for the surgical plans was 9, and was improved after human–computer interaction. There was no statistically significant difference between the actual and AI- groups. Conclusions: Machine learning algorithms are effective for diagnosis and surgical planning of dento-maxillofacial deformities and help improve diagnostic efficiency, especially in lower medical centers. Recently, the Chinese government has implemented stringent water requirements based on the concept of 'Basing four aspects on water resources'. However, existing research has inadequately addressed the constraints of water resources on population, city boundaries, land, and production, failing to adequately analyze the interplay between water resource limitations and urban development. Recognizing the interconnectedness between urban water use and economic development, a multi-objective model becomes crucial for optimizing urban water resources. This study establishes a nonlinear multi-objective water resources joint optimization model, aligning with the "Basing four aspects on water resources" requirement to maximize urban GDP and minimize total water use. A genetic algorithm (NSGA-II Algorithm) is applied to solve this complex nonlinear multi-objective model and obtain the Pareto solution set, addressing information loss inherent in the traditional water quota method. The model was tested in Wujiang District, an area located in China's Jiangsu Province that has been rapidly urbanizing over the past few decades, and yielded 50 non-inferior water resource optimization schemes. The results reveal that the Pareto solution set visually illustrates the competition among objectives and comprehensively displays the interplay between water and urban development. The model takes a holistic approach to consider the relationships between water resources and urban population, land use, and industries, clearly presenting their intricate interdependencies. Context: YOLO (You Look Only Once) is an algorithm based on deep neural networks with real-time object detection capabilities. This state-of-the-art technology is widely available, mainly due to its speed and precision. Since its conception, YOLO has been applied to detect and recognize traffic signs, pedestrians, traffic lights, vehicles, and so on. Objective: The goal of this research is to systematically analyze the YOLO object detection algorithm, applied to traffic sign detection and recognition systems, from five relevant aspects of this technology: applications, datasets, metrics, hardware, and challenges. Method: This study performs a systematic literature review (SLR) of studies on traffic sign detection and recognition using YOLO published in the years 2016–2022. Results: The search found 115 primary studies relevant to the goal of this research. After analyzing these investigations, the following relevant results were obtained. The most common applications of YOLO in this field are vehicular security and intelligent and autonomous vehicles. The majority of the sign datasets used to train, test, and validate YOLO-based systems are publicly available, with an emphasis on datasets from Germany and China. It has also been discovered that most works present sophisticated detection, classification, and processing speed metrics for traffic sign detection and recognition systems by using the different versions of YOLO. In addition, the most popular desktop data processing hardwares are Nvidia RTX 2080 and Titan Tesla V100 and, in the case of embedded or mobile GPU platforms, Jetson Xavier NX. Finally, seven relevant challenges that these systems face when operating in real road conditions have been identified. With this in mind, research has been reclassified to address these challenges in each case. In 2022, China faced unusually high temperatures, leading to a lack of hydropower in the southwest and increased power demand in the east. This incongruity exerted substantial strain on the power system. To tackle this, a structured method called orderly power utilization (OPU) is suggested as an effective approach to manage short-term power shortages and prevent recurring blackouts. However, typical OPU strategies tend to overlook the principles of fairness, openness, and justice (OEJ), potentially causing problems for various users, especially major industries. Herein, we introduce a comprehensive OPU framework. According to the demand difference in OPU plans in different periods, the optimization cycle is divided into several intervals to achieve computational enhancement. Furthermore, in the interest of judiciously managing the manifold OPU resources characterized by heterogeneous parameters, we introduce an aggregated operational model underpinned by the formalism of zonotopic sets. Dust detection is essential for environmental protection, climate change assessment, and human health issues. Based on the Fengyun-4A (FY-4A)/Advance Geostationary Radiation Imager (AGRI) images, this paper aimed to examine the performances of two classic dust detection algorithms (i.e., the brightness temperature difference (BTD) and normalized difference dust index (NDDI) thresholding algorithms) as well as two dust products (i.e., the infrared differential dust index (IDDI) and Dust Score products (DST) developed by the China Meteorological Administration). Results show that a threshold below −0.4 for BTD (11–12 µm) is appropriate for dust identification over China and that there is no fixed threshold for NDDI due to its limitations in distinguishing dust from bare ground. The IDDI and DST products presented similar results, where they are capable of detecting dust over all study areas only for daytime. A validation of these four dust detection algorithms has also been conducted with ground-based particulate matter (PM10) concentration measurements for the spring (March to May) of 2021. Results show that the average probability of correct detection (POCD) for BTD, NDDI, IDDI, and DST were 56.15%, 39.39%, 48.22%, and 46.75%, respectively. Overall, BTD performed the best on dust detection over China with its relative higher accuracy followed by IDDI and DST in the spring of 2021. A single threshold for NDDI led to a lower accuracy than those for others. Additionally, we integrated the BTD and IDDI algorithms for verification. In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, the main goal of the Special Issue on "Remote sensing for water resources and environmental management" was to solicit papers from a diverse range of scientists around the world on the use of cutting-edge remote sensing technologies to assess and monitor freshwater quality, quantity, availability, and management to ensure water security. Special consideration was given to scientific manuscripts that covered, but were not limited to, the development of geospatial techniques and remote sensing applications for detecting, quantifying, and monitoring freshwater water resources, identifying potential threats to water resources and agriculture, as well as other themes related to water resources and environmental management at various spatial scales. The Special Issue attracted over thirteen peer-reviewed scientific articles, with the majority of manuscripts originating from China. This paper discusses the relevant theory of swarm intelligence algorithm processing big data on the table tennis training competition knowledge interaction platform system, as well as the technical support of Nginx and Tomcat, and determines the technical basis of the table tennis training competition knowledge interaction platform. Through the establishment of the firefly algorithm model, the resource search ability is enhanced, and the traditional firefly algorithm is improved. From the results of the system performance test, it can be found that the improved swarm intelligence algorithm adopted in this paper improves the global convergence, and the load balancing degree gradually decreases with the increase of time. The improved firefly algorithm shows good performance when the bandwidth is low, and the resource occupancy rate is greatly reduced. When the bandwidth is 20, it is reduced by 12.55%. Grinding is an important link in the process of mineral processing. It plays a vital role in mineral processing by optimizing the grinding process, improving the quality of grinding products and ensuring the follow-up operation indicators. In this paper, the Python language, intelligent theoretical control technology and mineral processing were combined to solve the problem of ore feeding control in mineral processing. Using error factor analysis, an extended control algorithm was designed. The NumPy library and data collected from the Yuan YangMou concentrator in China were used to quantitatively analyze the factors affecting the error of electronic belt scales. This paper introduces the use of Kalman filtering for electronic belt scale weight data to reduce the effect of noise and hence reduce errors. The factors affecting the process of mill feeding are also analyzed. The core ideas and methods of fuzzy control theory are summarized, and a Python-based fuzzy controller suitable for the mill feeding process that improves the overall robustness and accuracy of feeding system is implemented. With China's fast expansion of urban traffic and railway engineering, a great number of subway and railway lines have been erected in subterranean tunnels in recent years. When the tunnel is in the process of construction, it will encounter the weak fracture zone, and the surrounding rock of this part of the tunnel is often poor stability and deformation is difficult to control, which will lead to the smooth progress of the project, delay and other problems. Therefore, to facilitate the timely treatment of tunnel soft surrounding rock, the study of image recognition of its stability is particularly important. Based on this, an improved local binary mode algorithm (ILBP) is proposed in this paper. By adjusting the weight of binary polynomial in local binary mode (LBP) operator, the target of ILBP is to extract the characteristics of weak surrounding rock of tunnel at a specific location, hoping to provide reference for the follow-up study of tunnel engineering. This paper considers information transmission issue observed in a large scale test of cellular-based vehicular to everything (C-V2X) technology in China, which is the information blockage for the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) wireless communication. With such findings, we propose utilizing relaying-based information routing solutions by the support of K-means-type algorithm and an on-request relay selection method in a vehicular adhoc network (VANET). From the algorithm perspective, we refine the K-means-based VANET seeding principle with considerations on the global vehicle layout. On the other hand, base station and/or core network aided relay selection associated with vehicle maneuver is introduced for waking up relays when necessary in order to address the typical non-line-of-sight (NLOS) signal attenuation by taking the power consumption into consideration. To evaluate the system performance, we conduct Matlab and network simulator (NS)-3 simualtions to justify the algorithms, and adopt Veins-based simulations to show the data packets loss gain over non-relaying scenarios of realistic V2V scenario with NLOS signal dissemination. This paper considers the problem of minimizing a convex expectation function with a set of inequality convex expectation constraints. We propose a stochastic augmented Lagrangian-type algorithm—namely, the stochastic linearized proximal method of multipliers—to solve this convex stochastic optimization problem. This algorithm can be roughly viewed as a hybrid of stochastic approximation and the traditional proximal method of multipliers. Under mild conditions, we show that this algorithm exhibits O (K − 1 / 2) expected convergence rates for both objective reduction and constraint violation if parameters in the algorithm are properly chosen, where K denotes the number of iterations. Moreover, we show that, with high probability, the algorithm has a O (log (K) K − 1 / 2) constraint violation bound and O (log 3 / 2 (K) K − 1 / 2) objective bound. The Loess Plateau is an ecologically fragile area in China; furthermore, loess landslides are typical forms of geological disasters, which severely limit the sustainable development of the local societies and the economy. Studying the automatic detection of landslides can facilitate disaster prevention and mitigation in the Loess Plateau, and help realize the climate action goal (SDG 13) of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This paper takes typical loess areas in China as the research object, and establishes a historical loess landslide sample database based on Google Earth (GEE) image data, with a total of 1451 loess landslides. The automatic detection of loess landslides is implemented by improving the You Only Look Once X (YOLOX) algorithm. The results show that the average accuracy of landslide detection in this method is 95.43%, and the accuracy rate is 96.32%, which effectively combines the earth's big data to realize the automatic detection of loess landslides. The research results provide technical support for the promotion of disaster prevention and mitigation in China's loess regions, the realization of sustainable development goals, and the improvement of natural disaster prevention–resistance–reduction systems.
