Intelligent compaction (IC) technology have been used for quality control and quality assurance (QC/QA) in subgrade construction. The effective regression correlations between Intelligent Compaction Measurement Values (ICMV) and In-situ Measurement Values (ISMV, including compaction degree and subgrade modulus ELWD) are the essential prerequisite of using IC technology for QC/QA. This paper presents the results from an experimental research study that was conducted from a practical subgrade project of China to explore the regression relationships between ICMV and ISMV. Three types of ICMV, including CMV, CCV and Evib, were collected along with the corresponding positions of the rollers. Two types of ISMV, containing compaction degree and ELWD, were measured by ring sampler method and light weight deflectometer (LWD) at specified test points, respectively. Based on these data, the influences of roller parameters and subgrade properties on the regression relationships of ICMV and ISMV were investigated. In addition, linear regression and 5 nonlinear regression algorithms were compared. The results suggest that ICMV reflect the stiffness of subgrade more than reflecting the density. In the regression of ICMV and ISMV, subgrade properties are more important than roller parameters while both of them should not be neglected. The influences of underlying stiffness and roller amplitude are linear while that of roller speed and moisture content are nonlinear. Nonlinear algorithms, especially the random forest, have the better performance compared to linear algorithm. Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is an integrated navigation technique that can be used for aircraft positioning and attitude retrieval, regardless of weather conditions. The key aspect of the entire system is interference fringe matching, which has not been extensively researched in existing literature. To address this gap, this paper proposes a terrain-feature-based interference fringe-matching algorithm. The proposed algorithm first extracts mountain line features from the interference fringes and identifies mountain branch points as key points for feature matching. A threshold is set to eliminate false detections of mountain branch points caused by phase mutation. Matching is then carried out by combining the mountain line features and curvature design feature descriptors of the area around a branch point. The proposed algorithm is verified using interference fringe data obtained from an actual flight experiment in Inner Mongolia, China, compared to a reference interference fringe dataset with errors. The results show that, under the condition of position error, the proposed algorithm yields 72 matching inliers with a precision of 0.103, a recall of 0.128, and an F1-Score of 0.144. Compared to traditional algorithms, our proposed algorithm significantly improves the problem of mismatch and opens up new possibilities for downstream interference fringe matching navigation technology. Dust detection is essential for environmental protection, climate change assessment, and human health issues. Based on the Fengyun-4A (FY-4A)/Advance Geostationary Radiation Imager (AGRI) images, this paper aimed to examine the performances of two classic dust detection algorithms (i.e., the brightness temperature difference (BTD) and normalized difference dust index (NDDI) thresholding algorithms) as well as two dust products (i.e., the infrared differential dust index (IDDI) and Dust Score products (DST) developed by the China Meteorological Administration). Results show that a threshold below −0.4 for BTD (11–12 µm) is appropriate for dust identification over China and that there is no fixed threshold for NDDI due to its limitations in distinguishing dust from bare ground. The IDDI and DST products presented similar results, where they are capable of detecting dust over all study areas only for daytime. A validation of these four dust detection algorithms has also been conducted with ground-based particulate matter (PM10) concentration measurements for the spring (March to May) of 2021. Results show that the average probability of correct detection (POCD) for BTD, NDDI, IDDI, and DST were 56.15%, 39.39%, 48.22%, and 46.75%, respectively. Overall, BTD performed the best on dust detection over China with its relative higher accuracy followed by IDDI and DST in the spring of 2021. A single threshold for NDDI led to a lower accuracy than those for others. Additionally, we integrated the BTD and IDDI algorithms for verification. This paper considers information transmission issue observed in a large scale test of cellular-based vehicular to everything (C-V2X) technology in China, which is the information blockage for the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) wireless communication. With such findings, we propose utilizing relaying-based information routing solutions by the support of K-means-type algorithm and an on-request relay selection method in a vehicular adhoc network (VANET). From the algorithm perspective, we refine the K-means-based VANET seeding principle with considerations on the global vehicle layout. On the other hand, base station and/or core network aided relay selection associated with vehicle maneuver is introduced for waking up relays when necessary in order to address the typical non-line-of-sight (NLOS) signal attenuation by taking the power consumption into consideration. To evaluate the system performance, we conduct Matlab and network simulator (NS)-3 simualtions to justify the algorithms, and adopt Veins-based simulations to show the data packets loss gain over non-relaying scenarios of realistic V2V scenario with NLOS signal dissemination. The seismic records in the Cambrian southwest depression of the Tarim Basin exhibit discrepancies when compared to the actual geological setting, which is caused by the presence of multiples. Despite the application of the Radon transform, multiple interferences persist beneath the Cambrian salt in the pre-stack data, with significant variations in energy and frequency across the horizontal direction. In addition, other multiple suppression methods are also difficult to handle this problem. To address this issue, we have developed an iterative virtual event internal multiple suppression method for post-stack data. This novel algorithm extends the traditional virtual event internal multiple suppression approach, eliminating the need for data regularization and avoiding the problem of the traditional virtual events method requiring sequential extraction of primaries from relevant layers, which greatly improves computational efficiency and simplifies the implementation steps of the traditional method. Numerical experiments demonstrate the efficacy of our method in suppressing internal multiples in both synthetic and field data while preserving primary signals. When applied to real seismic data profiles, the iterative method yields structural characteristics that align more closely with sedimentary laws and reduces disparities in energy and frequency of multiples along the horizontal axis. We developed an adaptive algorithm to reduce rice loss in harvesting, promote threshing and improve the quality and efficiency of small- and medium-sized rice harvesters operating in southern China's hilly and mountainous areas. Using a fuzzy PID control algorithm, the harvester adapts to the rice harvesting conditions in southern China, and monitors rice feed volume changes and instantly adjust the traveling speed to optimize feed volume levels and threshing quality. We compared and analyzed the algorithm and the traditional PID control regulation effect in the simulation experiment. The algorithm had a quicker response speed and stable accuracy. In the field trial, the average error rate was 3.4%, and the maximum error rate was 5.1%, with most data points centered around the ideal feeding rate of 3.2 kg/s. Our results showed that the algorithm's stability, accuracy, and real-time performance met the threshing loss reduction requirements of southern China's rice harvesting operations. The SM9 algorithm is an Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) algorithm independently made by China. The existing SM9 searchable encryption scheme cannot be effective against insider keyword guessing attacks and violates users' data privacy. This article utilizes the SM9 encryption method to propose a Registered Public Keyword Searchable Encryption based on SM9 (RKSE-SM9), which uses the SM9 user keys in the registration keyword algorithm. For RKSE-SM9 to generate the keyword ciphertext or trapdoor, a secure server must first register the keyword, which effectively and reasonably protects users' data and resists honest and curious cloud servers. From there, we also utilize Beaver's triple to construct an improved registered keyword generation algorithm, defining and proving that the improved algorithm satisfies the concept of indistinguishability against registration keywords, achieving a higher level of privacy. In addition, compared with existing SM9 searchable encryption, our scheme proved to guarantee better security while reducing the computational efficiency by only 1%; compared with the existing registered keyword searchable encryption scheme, the overall operational efficiency increases by 63%. The spatial decomposition of demographic data at a fine resolution is a classic and crucial problem in the field of geographical information science. The main objective of this study was to compare twelve well-known machine learning regression algorithms for the spatial decomposition of demographic data with multisource geospatial data. Grid search and cross-validation methods were used to ensure that the optimal model parameters were obtained. The results showed that all the global regression algorithms used in the study exhibited acceptable results, besides the ordinary least squares (OLS) algorithm. In addition, the regularization method and the subsetting method were both useful for alleviating overfitting in the OLS model, and the former was better than the latter. The more competitive performance of the nonlinear regression algorithms than the linear regression algorithms implies that the relationship between population density and influence factors is likely to be non-linear. Among the global regression algorithms used in the study, the best results were achieved by the k-nearest neighbors (KNN) regression algorithm. In addition, it was found that multi-sources geospatial data can improve the accuracy of spatial decomposition results significantly, and thus the proposed method in our study can be applied to the study of spatial decomposition in other areas. The dynamic monitoring and analysis of wetland vegetation play important roles in revealing the change, restoration and reconstruction of the ecosystem environment. The increasing availability of high spatial-temporal resolution remote sensing data provides an unprecedented opportunity for wetland dynamic monitoring and change detection. Using the reconstructed dense monthly Landsat time series, this study focuses on the continuous monitoring of vegetation dynamics in Dongting Lake wetland, south China, in the last two decades (2000–2019) by using the Bayesian estimator of abrupt change, seasonal change, and trend (BEAST) method. Firstly, the flexible spatiotemporal data fusion (FSDAF) model is applied to blend Landsat and moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) images on the basis of the input image pair selection strategy named "cross-fusion" to generate the monthly time-series normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) with the spatial resolution of 30 m. Then, the abrupt changes, trend, and seasonality of the vegetation in the study area as well as the uncertainties of change detection are estimated by the BEAST method. Results show that there is a close relationship between the ground true data and the estimated changepoints. A high overall accuracy (OA) of 87.37% and Kappa coefficient of 0.85 were achieved by the proposed framework. Additionally, the temporal validation got the interval intersection of 86.57% and the absolute difference of mean interval length of 6.8 days. All of the results demonstrate that the vegetation changes in the Dongting Lake wetland varied spatially and temporally in the last two decades, because of extreme weathers and anthropogenic factors. The presented approach can accurately identify the vegetation changes and time of disturbance in both the spatial and temporal domains, and also can retrieve the evolution process of wetland vegetation under the influence of climate changes and human activities.
