Afektivno računalstvo je relativno poznato područje proučavanja koje se bavi prepoznavanjem emocija pomoću određenog uređaja ili umjetne inteligencije. Cilj rada je istražiti kako i na koje načine afektivno računalstvo funkcionira i kako se primjenjuje u poslovanju. Hipoteza rada je da afektivno računalstvo pomaže i čini poslovanje jednostavnijim, kako za zaposlenike poduzeća u kojem se afektivno računalstvo koristi, tako i za krajnje korisnike koji te usluge koriste. Istraživanjem je utvrđeno da afektivno računalstvo uvelike poboljšava poslovanje i čini ga jednostavnijim. U radu je prikazan njegov utjecaj na marketing i digitalno oglašavanje; na koje se načine primjenjuje u automobilskoj industriji, te koji su digitalni poslovni modeli omogućeni njegovom primjenom, odnosno kakvi su utjecaji utvrđeni na suvremeno radno mjesto. Affective computing is a relatively well-known field of study that deals with emotion recognition using a specific device or artificial intelligence. The aim of the paper is to investigate how and in what way affective computing works and how it is applied in business. The hypothesis of the work is that affective computing helps and makes business easier, both for the employees of the company where affective computing is used, and for the end users who use these services. The research found that affective computing greatly improves business and makes it simpler. The paper shows its influence on marketing and digital advertising; in which ways they are applied in the automotive industry, and which digital business models are enabled by its application, i.e. what impacts have been determined on the modern workplace of the industry.

Cilj ovog rada je pokazati mogućnosti i prednosti korištenja vizualizacije u učenju struktura podataka i algoritama. Kroz rad ćemo se upoznati s najvažnijim strukturama podataka, te njihovom primjenom. Objasniti ćemo neke značajne algoritme za pretraživanje i sortiranje navedenih struktura. U nastavku rada objasniti ćemo ulogu vizualizacije u edukaciji, s posebnim naglaskom na vizualizaciju pri učenju struktura podataka i algoritama. Na kraju rada ćemo pokazati projekt koji smo izradili kao pomoć pri učenju struktura podataka., This paper aims to show the possibilities and advantages of using visualization in learning data structures and algorithms. Through this paper, we will learn about the most important data structures and their application. We will explain some essential algorithms for searching and sorting the specified data structures. In the continuation of the paper, we will explain the role of visualization in education, with particular emphasis on visualization when learning data structures and algorithms. At the end of the thesis, we will show the project created to help with learning data structures.

Cilj rada je prikazati upotrebu matematike u razvoju informatike. Iako nije uvijek vidljiv doprinos matematike u razvoju raznih područja informatike, želi se naglasiti njezina važnost. Za razvoj raznih informacijskih tehnologija važno je razumijevanje matematičke logike. U radu su navedeni samo neki od primjera primjene matematike u informatici. Matematika se upotrebljava u mnogo područja pa nije bilo moguće sve navesti. Prvo je opisana upotreba matrica i matričnih transformacija u obradi digitalne fotografije. Pojašnjen je prikaz crno-bijele, sive i fotografije u boji te zaokretanje i izmjena svjetline fotografije. Pomoću Kartezijeva sustava prikazan je RGB model. Potom je naglašena važnost algoritama koji izvorno potječe iz matematike, no imaju veliku primjenu u informatici. Prikazana je složenost algoritama te algoritmi sortiranja i pretraživanja koji je često koriste. Zatim slijedi primjena teorije grafova, opisani su grafovi, šetnje, ciklusi te stabla. Grafovi se mogu koristiti za prikaz računalne mreže, a stabla za prikaz i spremanje podataka u hijerarhijskom odnosu te za prikaz stabla odlučivanja. Objašnjeno je korištenje teorija informacije i kodiranja za ostvarivanje komunikacije, a posljednje su navedene važnosti diskretne matematike i transformacija. The aim of this paper is to show the use of mathematics in the development of information technologies. Although the contribution of mathematics in the development of various fields of informatics is not always recognized, its importance is emphasized. Understanding mathematical logic is important for the development of various information technologies. This paper presents only some of the examples of the application of mathematics in informatics. Mathematics is used in many areas, so it is not possible to list them all. The use of matrices and matrix transformations in digital photography processing is first described. The display of black and white, grey and colour photographs is explained, as well as the rotation and brightness change of the photograph. The RGB model is shown using the Cartesian system. Next, the importance of algorithms that originally derived from mathematics, but have great application in computer science, is emphasized. The complexity of the algorithms and the sorting and search algorithms that often use it are presented. Then follows the application of graph theory, and graphs, walks, cycles and trees are described. Graphs can be used to display a computer network, and trees to display and store data in a hierarchical relationship, and to display a decision tree. The use of information and coding theories to achieve communication is explained, and finally the importance of discrete mathematics and transformations is stated.

Završni rad na temu strojnog učenja prepoznavanja rukopisne numeracije detaljno prikazuje podjelu algoritama zaduženih za strojno učenje na način da vrši uvid u same pristupe strojnom učenju i načine na koje se ti pristupi mogu koristiti kada dođe do problematike prepoznavanja ručno napisanih brojčanih znamenaka. Svi navedeni pristupi nadalje su razgranati kako bi se postigao jasan pregled najčešćih oblika klasifikatora zaduženih za istraživanja na ovu temu. Ovaj rad daje uvid u postotak točnosti i pogreške dobivenih na osnovu istraživanja vršenih za svaki pojedini algoritam koji se koristi u obliku sustava za klasifikaciju korištenih ulaznih podataka. Svi rezultati dobiveni testiranjem navedenih algoritama tablično su prikazani i detaljno objašnjeni. Također, vršen je i prikaz eventualnih problema koji se događaju pri stvaranju predikcija o kojoj se ručno napisanoj znamenci uistinu radi, kao i koja su eventualna rješenja za iste. U završnome dijelu rada prikazano je softwaresko rješenje ta temu ove problematike u obliku koda napisanog u programskom jeziku Python. The final work on theme of handwritten digit recognition using machine learning shows in detail the division of machine learning algorithms by insight into the machine learning approaches and ways those approaches can be used in problems related to handwritten numbering. All of the above approaches are further explained in order to achieve a clear overview of the most common forms of classifiers in charge of research on this topic. This paper provides insight into the percentage of accuracy and error obtained based on the research performed for each individual algorithm it uses in the form of a system for classifying the input data used. All results obtained by testing this algorithm are tabulated and published in detail. Also, a presentation of possible problems that occur when creating a prediction about which handwritten digit is truly used, as well as possible solutions for the same. The final part of the paper presents a software solution on the topic in the form of code written in the Python programming language.

Ovaj rad bavi se fenomenom (internetskih) društvenih mreža, kao i filtriranjem informacija koje su, u manjem ili većem obujmu, vidljive medijskim publikama, odnosno korisnicima. U tu svrhu u radu se definiraju i detaljnije objašnjavaju pojmovi kao što su društvene mreže, računalni algoritmi i kodovi, fragmentacija internetskih sadržaja i drugi srodni pojmovi vezani uz navedenu tematiku. U radu se obrađuju i suvremene pojave i tendencije poput zaštite informacija na društvenim mrežama te političkih i sigurnosnih dimenzija korištenja društvenih mreža. Također, objašnjavaju se razlike između računalnih kodova i algoritama, njihov međusobni odnos te pojave nastale kao posljedica filtracije informacija - „filter mjehurići“ (filter bubbles) i „komore jeke“ (echo chambers). U radu se prikazuje korištenje algoritama te medijski efekt i medijska izloženost usmjerena korisnicima. Cilj je rada objasniti na koji se način informacije filtriraju i što se događa na društvenim mrežama kao posljedica te filtracije. The paper Ways of filtering information on social networks deals with the phenomenon of social networks, as well as filtering information that is, to a greater or lesser extent, visible to us. In order to better understand terms such as algorithms, filter bubbles and echo chambers, the paper will also define terms such as social networks and codes. The paper will also deal with tendencies such as the protection of information on social networks and the political and security dimensions of the users on social networks. The main part of the paper will explain the differences between codes and algorithms, it will explain their mutual relationship and the phenomena that arose as a result of filtering information - „filter bubbles” and „echo chambers”. The paper presents the use of algorithms and the media effect and user-oriented media exposure. The aim of this paper is to explain how information is filtered and what is created on social networks as a consequence of the filtering.

13. BRAND RESEARCH USING TEXT AND CONTEXT ANALYSIS

U ovom radu prikazala sam proces modeliranja teme (topics modeling) zasnovan na alatima za analizu tekstualnih sadržaja primjenom obrade prirodnog jezika za potrebe komunikacije u odnosima s javnosti ili marketingu. U radu su obrađene osnovne karakteristike analize teksta i konteksta primjenom algoritama strojnog učenja i obrade prirodnog jezika na tekstualnim sadržajima skinutih sa web stranica tehnikom web „grebanja“. Korištenjem odgovarajućih programskih alata napravila sam analizu pojavnosti i važnosti ključnih pojmova vezan uz brandove sportske obuće. Slikovito sam prikazala proces obrade navedenih sadržaja i rezultate koji su dobiveni provedenom analizom. Rezultati pokazuju da je moguće bez ikakvog prethodnog označavanja teksta dobiti informacije o kojim temama se radi vezanim za brandove i u kojem kontekstu. Prikazana metodologija istraživanja omogućuje da obradom velike količine tekstualnih sadržaja iz raznih digitalnih izvora automatiziranim postupkom dođemo do korisnih informacija o značaju brandova od interesa., In this paper, I have presented the topic modeling process based on tools for textual content analysis using natural language processing for public relations or marketing purposes. The paper deals with the fundamental characteristics of text and context analysis using machine learning algorithms and natural language processing on textual content downloaded from web pages using the web scraping technique. Using appropriate software tools, I analyzed the incidence and importance of key terms related to sports footwear brands. I have pictorially presented the process of processing the mentioned contents and the results obtained by the conducted analysis. The results show that it is possible to acquire information on which topics to refer to brands and in which context without any prior labeling of the text. The presented research methodology enables us to obtain useful information about the importance of brands of interest by processing a large amount of textual content from various digital sources in an automated way.

Cilj završnog rada je implementacija i usporedba algoritama vremenskog upravljanja.. Na početku teorijskog dijela rada, opisani su procesi u operacijskim sustavima i vremensko upravljanje. Osim implementiranih algoritama, opisani su i ostali algoritmi vremenskog upravljanja u operacijskim sustavima. Na kraju teorijskog dijela rada navedeni su i općeniti i specifični ciljevi za pojedine operacijske sustave. U praktičnom dijelu rada implementirani su algoritmi First-Come First-Served, Shortest Job Next, Round Robin i Priority Scheduling. Programski dio rada je izrađen u okruženju Google Colaboratory koje podržava programski jezik Python. Navedeni algoritmi su analizirani i uspoređeni na temelju prosječnog vremena obrade i prosječnog vremena čekanja. U privitku se nalazi programski kod za svaki od navedenih algoritama., This thesis deals with the implementation and comparison of operating systems scheduling algorithms. At the beginning of the theoretical part of the work, processes in operating systems and scheduling are described. In addition to the implemented algorithms, other operating systems scheduling algorithms are also described. At the end of the theoretical part of the paper, both general and specific goals for individual operating systems are listed. In the practical part of the work, the First-Come First-Served, Shortest Job Next, Round Robin and Priority Scheduling algorithms were implemented. The programming part of the work was created in the Google Colaboratory environment, which supports the Python programming language. The mentioned algorithms were analyzed and compared based on average processing time and average waiting time. The program code for each of the mentioned algorithms is in the attachment.

U ovom radu je objašnjeno kako radi kartezijsko genetsko programiranje, i objašnjeno je korištenje kartezijskog genetsko programiranja u okviru za evolucijsko računanje. Obrađena je evolucija na primjerima simboličke regresije i logičkih funkcija u kriptografiji. Objašnjene su značajke logičkih funkcija koje želimo i danu su rezultatu provedenih testiranja. Uz rad su priloženi tablice i grafovi svih rezultata te je na kraju dan popis literature i izvorni kod. This paper explains how the Cartesian genetic programming works, and discussed the use of Cartesian genetic programming in the context of evolutionary computation. Evolution is tested on examples of symbolic regression and boolian functions in cryptography. Explains the features of boolian functions that we want in cryptography and gives result of tests. With paper are presented tables and graphs of the results at the end paper is list of references and source code.

Rad se bavi optimizacijom tehnika klasteriranja uzimajući u obzir dva pristupa rješavanju problema u obliku dvaju algoritama: k-means i hijerarhijsko klasteriranje. U nastavku se tekst pozornije posvećuje k-means algoritmu te se opisuje rad tog specifičnog algoritma i napomenuta je činjenica da algoritam zahtjeva prethodno poznavanje broja skupina na koje će se dani skup podataka podijeliti. U sljedećem poglavlju se predstavljaju dva skupa podataka koji se korište u svrhu utvrđivanja efikasnosti algoritama za pronalaženje optimalnog broja kategorija za k-means algoritam. Taj dio slijedil detaljnije predstavljanje svakog od četiri odabrana algoritma na razini ideje i matematičkih formula te se njih testira na odabranim skupovima podataka. Na kraju se uspoređuje točnost algoritama pri odabiru optimalnog broja kategorija. This paper addresses optimization of clustering techniques, considering two clustering approaches; the k-means algorithm and hierarchical clustering. Following that topic, this work focuses in particular on the k-means algorithm, the description of its inner mechanisms and the fact that the algorithm requires prior knowledge of the number of groups into which the given set of data will be divided. Namely, two sets of data are presented in order to determine the efficiency of different algorithms for determining the optimal number of categories for the k-means algorithm. Four algorithms are compared by their theoretic background, and tested on selected data sets. Finally, the accuracy of the algorithms, when choosing the optimal number of categories, is compared.

Kroz izradu ovog diplomskog rada, pokazalo se kako je izrada videoigre veoma složen proces koji obuhvaća mnogo različitih znanja, iskustva i osoba različitih profesija, nebitno je li videoigra jednostavna ili složena. Ovaj rad je najprije dao povijesni pregled razvoja videoigra te zatim teoretski razmotrio teme od najvećeg značaja za razvoj videoigre, a to su različiti načini razvoja videoigre, osnove za korištenje Unreal Engine 4, vrste i testovi kolizija, ograničivači volumena, graf scene i njegove implementacije, rukovanje rotacijama i gimbalov problem. Nakon teoretskog pregleda razvijena je jednostavna videoigra bez granice smještena u svemiru za pametne telefone koristeći Unreal Engine 4. Ova videoigra je iskorištena za demonstraciju koncepata opisanih u teoretskim poglavljima, ali i u cjelini za demonstraciju cijelog procesa razvoja jedne videoigre, od razmatranja koncepta do implementacije algoritama potrebnih za njegovu realizaciju., Through the creation of this thesis, it has been shown that the creation of a video game is a very complex process that includes many different skills, experiences and people from different professions, regardless of whether the video game is simple or complex. This paper first gave a historical overview of the development of video games and then theoretically considered the topics of greatest importance for video game development, which are different ways for a video game development, basics for using Unreal Engine 4, types and tests of collisions, volume limiters, scene graph and its implementation, handling rotations and the gimbal problem. After a theoretical review, a simple video game without an end set in space for smartphones was developed using Unreal Engine 4. This video game was used to demonstrate the concepts described in the theoretical chapters, but also as a whole to demonstrate the entire process of developing a video game, from the consideration of the concept to the implementation of algorithms necessary for its realization.

Bolesti mekih česti u reumatologiji često su zanemarenog značaja. Izvanzglobne reumatske bolesti obuhvaćaju promjene na tetivama, tetivnim pripojima i ovojnicama, burzama te mišićima, te su često zbog bola i ispada funkcije zahvaćenog dijela razlog onesposobljenosti bolesnika. Zbog toga smo proveli istraživanje znanstvene literature o preporučenim načelima liječenja izvanzglobnih reumatskih bolesti s posebnim naglaskom na terapijske dvojbe i postupnike u liječenju. U preglednim člancima koji su bili dostupni u specijaliziranim bazama podataka, kao što su Cochrane i PEDro ne pronalaze se istraživanja koja uspoređuju različite postupnike liječenja pojedinih kliničkih entiteta izvanzglobnih bolesti. Naprotiv, u takve članke su uključena samo istraživanja gdje se uspoređuje utjecaj pojedinog modaliteta nefarmakološkog liječenja u odnosu na navedenu dijagnozu, zbog mogućnosti jasne usporedbe dobivenih podataka. Postupnici koji se pronalaze u pojedinačnim radovima vezani su uz medicinsku ustanovu gdje su nastali i međusobno se razlikuju. Trend je da se svakih pet godina napravi reevaluacija pojedinog modaliteta nefarmakološkog liječenja, koristeći nove znanstvene studije, zbog napretka tehnoloških mogućnosti, kako bi se uopćene preporuke liječenja bolje artikulirale., Soft tissue disorders are often neglected during the course of the rheumatic diseases. Extra-articular rheumatism, that includes all inflammatory clinical entities inside tendons, synovial sheaths, entheses, bursas and muscles, is a common reason of disability in patients and is accompanied by pain and loss of function in the involved region. This paper was designed to look for evidence based medicine data on recommendations in treatment of extra-articular rheumatism as well as finding scientifically validated treatment algorithms. In systematic reviews available by searching specialised medical databases such as The Cochrane Collaboration Database and Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) there are no studies on comparison of different treatment algorithms on the same extra-articular disease. In systematic reviews only the studies that compare one modality of non-pharmacological treatment to another or to placebo are included, because of statistical analysis. Treatment algorithms are found only as proposals in individual papers and are different from institution to institution. The current trend is to renew the knowledge in treatment modalities of soft tissue disorders every five years due to the advancement of technological capabilities of medical equipment.

Rak dojke najčešća je zloćudna novotvorina u žena u Republici Hrvatskoj. Osnovne radiološke pretrage u dijagnostici bolesti dojke jesu mamografija, ultrazvuk i magnetska rezonancija. U radu su prikazane radiološke smjernice za radiološku dijagnostičku i intervencijsku obradu bolesti dojke i praćenje bolesnica oboljelih od raka dojke u Republici Hrvatskoj. Razrađen je algoritam radiološke obrade kod simptomatskih bolesnica, trudnica i dojilja, bolesnica prosječnog i povećanog rizika za razvoj karcinoma dojke, te kod bolesnica s radiološkim nalazom upalnih promjena (mastitisa)., Breast carcinoma is the most common neoplasm in the female population of Croatia. The main imaging breast diagnostic modalities are mammography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance. This paper reviews radiological guidelines for breast diagnostic and interventional procedures, and monitoring of breast cancer patients in the Republic of Croatia. An algorithm for radiological assessment is presented for symptomatic patients, pregnant and lactating women, patients with average and increased risk of developing breast cancer, and patients with radiological findings of mastitis.

Proces predstavlja računalni program koji se izvršava. Kako ne bi došlo do zastoja između procesa, koriste se algoritmi raspoređivanja kojima se izrađuje plan raspoređivanja procesa na CPU-u. Algoritmi raspoređivanja mogu se podijeliti u 3 kategorije: raspoređivanje u batch sustavim, raspoređivanje u interaktivnim sustavima te raspoređivanje u sustavima stvarnog vremena. U ovom radu obrađeni su algoritmi koji spadaju u batch sustave i interaktivne sustave, te su implementirani i testirani isti. Također, kratko su spomenuti i sustavi stvarnog vremena. Process represents a computer program that is being executed. In order to avoid interruptions between the processes, the scheduling algorithms used to create the CPU scheduling plan are used. The scheduling algorithms can be divided into 3 categories: scheduling in batch systems, scheduling in interactive systems, and scheduling in real-time systems This paper deals with algorithms that fall into categories of scheduling in batch systems and scheduling in interactive systems and the algorithms of the same categories have been implemented. Also, the real-time systems are briefly mentioned.

Nakon svih obrađenih algoritama upoznali smo nekoliko načina dolaska do rješenja dvaju problema koje smo promatrali. Područje diskretne matematike s vremenom sve se više razvija, te što više ulazimo u dubinu, teorijsko poznavanje upravo ovih ''osnovnijih'' algoritama daje dobru podlogu za daljnji rad te uvelike pomaže. Upravo zbog svojstva matematičke teorije koja se postupno nadograđuje sama na sebe, veoma je zahvalno shvatiti ovu osnovnu podlogu, među kojom spada i gradivo obrađeno u ovome radu. Iz tog razloga, dobro je što postoji poveći broj algoritama za rješavanje osnovnijih problema diskretne matematike kako bi se daljnja znanost mogla razvijati u što više smjerova. Obrađeni algoritmi daju dobru bazu za ulazak u kompleksnije matematičke probleme, te razvijaju logičko razmišljanje. After all the algorithms we’ve processed, we’ve come up with a few ways to get to the solution of the two problems we’ve been observing. The field of discrete mathematics is evolving over time, and the more we enter into depth, the theoretical knowledge of these ”basic” algorithms provides a good foundation for further work and greatly helps. Because of the mathematical theory that gradually improves itself, it is very grateful to understand this basic foundation, among which the material covered in this paper. For this reason, it is good that there is an increasing number of algorithms for solving the most basic problems of discrete mathematics so that further science can evolve into as many directions as possible. The processed algorithms provide a good basis for entering complex mathematical problems and develop logical thinking.

Diplomski rad sastoji se od predstavljanja problema pronalaska optimalne putanje za dostavu paketa zračnim putem i dolaska do rješenja istog. Razvoj izrade rada odvijao se kroz četiri stupnja: definiranje problema, pronalaska odgovarajućih algoritama za dobivanje rješenja, razvoja i implementacija algoritama i analize rezultata. Programsko rješenje napravljeno je u programskoj okolini Eclipse u programskom jeziku Java. Informacije o paketima učitavaju se iz datoteke, paketi se sortiraju prema destinacijama i veličini paketa. Kapacitet svakog zrakoplova je ograničen. Optimiranje se izvodilo pomoću pet različitih algoritama te se potom uspoređivala kvaliteta rješenja koju pruža pojedini algoritam. Kao dva najbolja algoritma za optimizaciju pokazali su se Simulirano kaljenje i Branch and bound. Za ≤500 paketa, Simulirano kaljenje daje najbolja rješenja, a za sljedeći veći broj paketa koji je testiran (1000 paketa) Branch and bound je pružio najkvalitetnije rješenje. Dobiveno rješenje se potom vizualizira na mapi i iscrtava se plan dostave. The final paper is composed of introducing the problem of optimal package delivery with airplanes to destinations and reaching its solution. Process for reaching the solution has been made in four steps: defining the problem, finding adequate optimization algorithm, development and implementation of the algorithm and analysis of results. Programming solution is written on Eclipse platform in the Java computer language. Package information is loaded from the file, packages are sorted according to destinations and package size. Airplanes capacity is limited. Optimization has been performed with five different algorithms, and then quality of result between algorithms has been compared. Two of the best performing optimization algorithms are Simulated annealing and Branch and bound. For ≤500 packages, Simulated annealing gives best solution, for a next bigger group of packages used in tests (1000 packages) Branch and bound provided best solution. A given solution is then visualized and delivery plan is plotted on the map.

U ovom diplomskom radu bile su opisane učeničke aktivnosti u nastavi informatike u osnovnoj i srednjim školama. Aktivnosti, kao suvremeniji nastavni proces, obogaćuju nastavne metode te potiču učeničku kreativnost. Najvažniji produkt aktivnosti je što djeca istražujući razvijaju konceptualno znanje što za posljedicu ima dulje zadržavanje naučenog. U prvome poglavlju bile su opisane prednosti aktivnosti. Također, opisana su i dva primjera dobre prakse u svijetu, američki CSTA K-12 i engleski nacionalni kurikulum. Kod američkog nacionalnog kurikuluma dan je, bez prevođenja, jedan primjer aktivnosti koji se nalazi u tom dokumentu. U drugome poglavlju bile su navedene konkretne aktivnosti koje se mogu provesti u osnovnoj, a uz malu doradu i u srednjim školama. Aktivnosti su bile podijeljene u četiri dijela: matematičke osnove rada računala, algoritmi, grafički prikaz podataka i proračunske tablice. U poglavlju Matematičke osnove rada na računalu bile su opisane aktivnosti kojim učenici otkrivaju pojam bita, varijable te izvršavanja naredbi u računalu. U poglavlju Algoritmi bile su opisane aktivnosti kojim učenici otkrivaju najveći element nekog skupa, sortiranje umetanjem (Insertion sort) i binarno traženje. U poglavlju Grafički prikaz podataka bile su opisane aktivnosti kojima učenici otkrivaju stupčasti, kružni te linijski grafikon. U zadnjem poglavlju bile su opisane aktivnosti kojima učenici, u Excelu, otkrivaju postotak sniženja, prosječna vremena trkača te izračun mjesečnih plaća. Osim detaljnog tijeka aktivnosti, dana su i pitanja za diskusiju. In this thesis are described student activities in computer science classes in primary and secondary schools. Activities, as a more contemporary learning process, enrich teaching methods and stimulate students' creativity. The most important outcome of introducing activities into class lies in the fact that children, by exploring, develop conceptual knowledge which results in enhanced long-term knowledge retention. The first chapter describes the benefits of introducing activities. In particular, two examples of good practice from around the world have been described, namely the American CSTA K.12 and the English national curriculum. In the case of the American national curriculum an example of activities from the respective document was presented, with no translation provided. In the following chapter concrete activities were listed which can be implemented in primary and, with a little refinement, secondary schools. The activities are divided in four parts: mathematical principles of computing, graphic representation of data and spreadsheets. The chapter Mathematical Principles of Computing outlines the activities by which the students discover the concepts of bit, variable and command execution in computing. The chapter entitled Algorithms focuses on the activities by which students discover the greatest element of a set, insertion sort and binary search. The chapter Graphic Representation of Data focuses on activities by which the students discover the bar, pie and line chart. The last chapter describes the activities by which the students discover discount percentage, average sprinters' times and monthly salary calculations in Excel. Beside providing a detailed description of activities, the paper also raises questions for discussion.

Zadatak ovog seminarskog rada bilo je rješavanje problema magičnih kvadrata u programskom jeziku C. Za izradu programa važno je dobro poznavanje spomenutog programskog jezika, te način rješavanja čarobnih četvorina. Na početku seminarskog rada opisan je uvod u programske jezike, te karakteristike samog C jezika, od njegovog početka i razvoja, sve do njegove sintakse i upotrebe. Kako bi jezik bio što jasnije pojašnjen, priloženi su i primjeri jednostavnijih programa. Nakon toga, opisan je sam problem magičnih kvadrata, njihova definicija, rješavanje i sama povijest njihovog pojavljivanja u prošlosti starih civilizacija. Naknadno, objašnjeni su algoritmi rješavanja magičnih kvadrata u dva slučaja, kada su oni parni, te kada su neparni. Naposljetku, na osnovi stečenog znanja, uspješno je izrađen program koji provjerava za zadane kvadrate jesu li magični. The aim of this seminar work was solving magic squares in the programming language C.To create a program, it is important to have a good knowledge of the said programming language as well as the way of dealing with magical foursquare.At the beginning of the seminar paper describes the introduction to programming languages, as well as characteristics of the C language, from its inception and development, until his syntax and usage.To have the language clearly explained, attached are examples of simple programs.After that, I described the problem of magic squares, their definition, solving the very history of their occurrence in the history of ancient civilizations. Subsequently, explained are the algorithms of solving magic squares in the two cases, when they are steam, and when they are odd. Finally, based on acquired knowledge, I have successfully developed a program that checks the score squares whether magic.

U razvijenim zemljama zapadnog svijeta unatoč akumulaciji znanja o uzrocima i načinu liječenja gastrointestinalnog krvarenja, iskustvu gastroenterologa endoskopičara, upotrebi sofi sticiranih endoskopskih uređaja, broj hospitalizacija i stopa smrtnosti nisu se očekivano smanjili. Moguća objašnjenja su starenje populacije, povećanje prevalencije gastroezofagealne refl usne bolesti, debljina, antibiotska rezistencija Helicobacter pylori, upotreba antiagregacijskih, antikoagulantnih lijekova te ekscesivno korištenje nesteroidnih antireumatika. Cilj ovog preglednog rada je prikazati incidenciju, defi nirati najčešće znakove i simptome krvarenja, pokazati inicijalnu kliničku evaluaciju, dijagnostičke metode, osnovne uzroke krvarenja i endoskopske metode zaustavljanja krvarenja te algoritme liječenja krvarenja iz gornjeg i donjeg gastrointestinalnog sustava. Koristeći baze podataka MEDLINE i Ovid tražili smo meta analize i sistemske preglede objavljene na engleskom jeziku u razdoblju od 2005.-2015. godine. Meta analize su uključivale rezultate randomiziranih, dvostruko slijepih istraživanja na odraslim bolesnicimaliječenima zbog gastrointestinalnog krvarenja. Uključene su smjernice Europskog i Američkog društva za gastroenterološku endoskopiju kao i recentni radovi stručnjaka. Donosimo najaktualnije spoznaje o krvarenju iz gastrointestinalnog sustava, novu podjelu na krvarenja iz gornjeg, srednjeg i donjeg dijela gastrointestinalnog trakta, kontroverze o plasmanu nazogastrične sonde, upotrebi prokinetika i inhibitora protonske pumpe u akutnim krvarenjima iz gornjeg dijela gastrointestinalnog trakta, restriktivnoj transfuzijskoj strategiji, boljoj kliničkoj stratifi kaciji težine krvarenja, hospitalizaciji te kliničkom ishodu na osnovi upotrebe dijagnostičkih zbrojeva, gastroprotekciji u bolesnika s visokim rizikom nastanka peptičnih ulkusa, važnosti inicijalne ezofagogastroduodenoskopije u procjeni variksa u bolesnika s novootkrivenom cirozom jetre, primarnoj i sekundarnoj profi laksi varicealnog krvarenja, novim endoskopskim metodama hemostaze (Hemospray), radiološkom i kirurškom zaustavljanju krvarenja. Smatramo da bi edukativna narav ovog teksta mogla poslužiti kao temelj stvaranju hrvatskih smjernica za krvarenja iz gastrointestinalnog sustava., In the developed Western countries, despite the accumulation of knowledge about the causes and treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding, as well as the experience of gastroenterologists-endoscopists using sophisticated endoscopic devices, the number of hospitalizations and mortality rates has not declined as expected. The most likely explanations are the following: aging population, increased prevalence of alcoholic liver cirrhosis, gastroesophageal refl ux disease and obesity, Helicobacter pylori antibiotic resistance, using dual anti-aggregation therapy, anticoagulants, and excessive use of nonsteroidal anti-infl ammatory drugs. The aim of this paper is to show the incidence and the most common signs and symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding. The aim is also to present initial clinical evaluation, diagnostic methods, the main causes of gastrointestinal bleeding, endoscopic hemostatic modalities and treatment of bleeding from the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. Using the MEDLINE and Ovid databases, we searched the meta-analyses and systematic reviews published in English during the 2005-2015 period. Meta-analyses included results of randomized, double-blind studies on adults treated for gastrointestinal bleeding. Included were guidelines of the European and American Society of Gastroenterological Endoscopy, as well as recent expert work. In this review, we bring the state-of-the-art on gastrointestinal bleeding, new classifi cation of gastrointestinal bleeding from the upper, mid and lower gut, controversy of nasogastric tube placement, use of prokinetic agents and inhibitor proton pumps in acute gastrointestinal bleeding from the upper tract, restrictive transfusion strategy, useful clinical stratifi cation of the severity of bleeding, indications for hospitalization and outcome of using the clinical bleeding score, proper use of gastroprotection in patients at a high risk of peptic ulcer, the need of initial endoscopy, variceal assessment in newly diagnosed liver cirrhosis, primary and secondary prophylaxis of variceal bleeding, new endoscopic hemostatic modality, and radiological and surgical treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding. The educational nature of this review could serve for establishing Croatian guideline for the management of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Dijagnoza arterijske hipertenzije, uspješnost liječenja, procjena kardiovaskularnog rizika i epidemiološki podaci tradicionalno su bili bazirani na mjerenjima arterijskoga tlaka učinjenim u liječničkim ordinacijama s pomoću klasičnoga živina tlakomjera. Spoznaje o varijabilnosti tlaka, o utjecaju ambijenta ordinacije i prisutnosti medicinskog osoblja na postignute vrijednosti, ali i toksičnost žive i skoro povlačenje živinih tlakomjera iz kliničke upotrebe doveli su do sve raširenije upotrebe kućnog mjerenja tlaka samomjeračima (MATS) i kontinuiranoga 24-satnog mjerenja arterijskoga tlaka (KMAT). Kombinirana primjena svih triju načina mjerenja omogućava točniju klasifikaciju i precizniji dijagnostički i terapijski algoritam. U ovome preglednom članku opisana je jednostavna tehnika mjerenja tlaka u ordinaciji koja ne smije biti podcijenjena te su prikazani prednosti i nedostaci svakoga pojedinog načina mjerenja i upozoreno je na njihovu kompatibilnost s recentnim preporukama međunarodnih društava. U posebnom odlomku opisano je i mjerenje centralnog arterijskoga tlaka, brzine pulsnog vala i određivanje augmentacijskog indeksa, dodatnih čimbenika u procjeni ukupnoga kardiovaskularnog rizika., Office blood pressure measurement using mercury sphygmomanometer is the gold standard for making diagnoses of hypertension, evaluation of cardiovascular risk and estimation of obtained control of treated hypertensives. The vast majority of epidemiologic data are based on this method. However, the importance of blood pressure variability, white coat effect as well as availability of simple devices, home and ambulatory blood pressure measurements became routine parts in routine clinical work. As mercury will be soon forbidden in clinical work such devices and methodology will be even more important. In everyday clinical practice all three techniques should be implemented and in this paper advantages and drawbacks of all techniques are discussed. In the end, based on recent data and recommendations of international societies, diagnostic algorithm was proposed. Additionally, we described the technique of non-invasive central blood pressure measurement, determination of pulse wave velocity and calculation of augmentation index, new proposed risk factors.
