It contains a small size, 2×2 MIMO (multiple-input-multiple-output), increased gain and isolation for radar and satellite applications in the Ku (12-18 GHz) as well as K (18-27 GHz) bands. The proposed MIMO antenna's overall dimensions (24×24×1.6) mm
3 has been developed and simulated. To increase interconnection between the ports with 50Ω characteristic impedance, the components of the proposed MIMO antenna are stacked parallel and have the same shapes. The antenna can operate in the Ku-band and K-band at ports 1 and 2, respectively, at frequencies of (13.56-14.86 GHz), (16.60-18.76 GHz), and (20.50-28.36 GHz). At ports 1 and 2, the maximum/minimum peak gains are reported to be 9.06 dBi and 3.26 dBi, respectively. ECC (< 0.012), DG (≤ 9.9 dB), as well as TARC (< -10 dB) are instances of diversity characteristics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published
