In the quality inspection process of high-voltage cables, several commonly used indicators include cable length, insulation thickness, and the number of conductors within the core. Among these factors, the count of conductors holds particular significance as a key determinant of cable quality. Machine vision technology has found extensive application in automatically detecting the number of conductors in cross-sectional images of high-voltage cables. However, the presence of scratch-type defects in cut high-voltage cable cross-sections can significantly compromise the precision of conductor count detection. To address this problem, this paper introduces a novel improved total variation (TV) algorithm, marking the first-ever application of the TV algorithm in this domain. Considering the staircase effect, the direct use of the TV algorithm is prone to cause serious loss of image edge information. The proposed algorithm firstly introduces multimodal features to effectively mitigate the staircase effect. While eliminating scratch-type defects, the algorithm endeavors to preserve the original image's edge information, consequently yielding a noteworthy enhancement in detection accuracy. Furthermore, a dataset was curated, comprising images of cross-sections of high-voltage cables of varying sizes, each displaying an assortment of scratch-type defects. Experimental findings conclusively demonstrate the algorithm's exceptional efficiency in eradicating diverse scratch-type defects within high-voltage cable cross-sections. The average scratch elimination rate surpasses 90%, with an impressive 96.15% achieved on cable sample 4. A series of conducted ablation experiments in this paper substantiate a significant enhancement in cable image quality. Notably, the Edge Preservation Index (EPI) exhibits an improvement of approximately 20%, resulting in a substantial boost to conductor count detection accuracy, thus effectively enhancing the quality of high-voltage cable production. Over the past 20 years, there has been a significant increase in publication in complex network analysis research, especially in community detection. Many methods were proposed to identify community structure. Each community identification algorithm has strengths and weaknesses due to the complexity of information. Among them, the optimisation methods are widely focused on. This paper focuses on an empirical study of two community detection algorithms based on agglomerative techniques using modularity metric: Louvain and Leiden. In this regard, the Louvain algorithm has been shown to produce a bad connection in the community and disconnected when executed iteratively. Therefore, the Leiden algorithm is designed to successively resolve the weaknesses. Performance comparisons between the two and their concept were summarised in detail, as well as the step-by-step learning process of the state-of-the-art algorithms. This study is important and beneficial to the future study of interdisciplinary data sciences of network analysis. First, it demonstrates that the Leiden method outperformed the Louvain algorithm in terms of modularity metric and running time. Second, the paper displays the use of these two algorithms on synthetic and real networks. Recently, a signal sorting algorithm based on the congruence transform has been proposed, which is effective in dealing with the staggered Pulse Repetition Interval (PRI) signals. It can effectively sort the staggered PRI signals and obtain the sub-PRI sequence directly without sub-PRI ranking, and it is less affected by interfered pulses and pulse loss. Nevertheless, we find that the algorithm causes pseudo-peaks in the remainder histogram when sorting signals such as sliding PRI, sinusoidal PRI, etc. (collectively referred to as periodic PRI signal in this paper) and pseudo-peaks will cause errors in signal sorting. To solve the issue of pseudo-peaks when sorting periodic PRI signals, an improved sorting algorithm based on congruence transform is proposed. According to the analysis of the congruence characteristics of the periodic PRI signal, a novel method is proposed to identify pseudo-peaks based on the histogram peak amplitude and symmetric difference set. The signal sorting algorithm based on congruence transform is improved to achieve a good sorting effect on periodic PRI signals. Simulation experiments demonstrate that the novel algorithm can effectively sort periodic PRI signals and improve Precall, Pd, and Pf by 6.9%, 5.1%, and 3.2%, respectively, compared to the typical similar algorithms. The National Forestland "One Map" applies the boundaries and attributes of sub-elements to mountain plots by means of spatial data to achieve digital management of forest resources. The change detection and analysis of forest space and property is the key to determining the change characteristics, evolution trend and management effectiveness of forest land. The existing spatial overlay method, rasterization method, object matching method, etc., cannot meet the requirements of high efficiency and high precision at the same time. In this paper, we investigate a fast algorithm for the detection of changes in "One Map", taking Sichuan Province as an example. The key spatial characteristic extraction method is used to uniquely determine the sub-compartments. We construct an unbalanced quadtree based on the number of maximum leaf node elements (NLNE Quad-Tree) to narrow down the query range of the target sub-compartments and quickly locate the sub-compartments. Based on NLNE Quad-Tree, we establish a change detection model for "One Map" (NQT-FCDM). The results show that the spatial feature combination of barycentric coordinates and area can ensure the spatial uniqueness of 44.45 million sub-compartments in Sichuan Province with 1 m~0.000001 m precision. The NQT-FCDM constructed with 1000–6000 as the maximum number of leaf nodes has the best retrieval efficiency in the range of 100,000–500,000 sub-compartments. The NQT-FCDM shortens the time by about 75% compared with the traditional spatial union analysis method, shortens the time by about 50% compared with the normal quadtree and effectively solves the problem of generating a large amount of intermediate data in the spatial union analysis method. The NQT-FCDM proposed in this paper improves the efficiency of change detection in "One Map" and can be generalized to other industries applying geographic information systems to carry out change detection, providing a basis for the detection of changes in vector spatial data. With the advancement of network technology, multimedia videos have emerged as a crucial channel for individuals to access external information, owing to their realistic and intuitive effects. In the presence of high frame rate and high dynamic range videos, the coding efficiency of high-efficiency video coding (HEVC) falls short of meeting the storage and transmission demands of the video content. Therefore, versatile video coding (VVC) introduces a nested quadtree plus multi-type tree (QTMT) segmentation structure based on the HEVC standard, while also expanding the intra-prediction modes from 35 to 67. While the new technology introduced by VVC has enhanced compression performance, it concurrently introduces a higher level of computational complexity. To enhance coding efficiency and diminish computational complexity, this paper explores two key aspects: coding unit (CU) partition decision-making and intra-frame mode selection. Firstly, to address the flexible partitioning structure of QTMT, we propose a decision-tree-based series partitioning decision algorithm for partitioning decisions. Through concatenating the quadtree (QT) partition division decision with the multi-type tree (MT) division decision, a strategy is implemented to determine whether to skip the MT division decision based on texture characteristics. If the MT partition decision is used, four decision tree classifiers are used to judge different partition types. Secondly, for intra-frame mode selection, this paper proposes an ensemble-learning-based algorithm for mode prediction termination. Through the reordering of complete candidate modes and the assessment of prediction accuracy, the termination of redundant candidate modes is accomplished. In this paper, a method based on an improved intelligent bat algorithm (IIBA) in cooperation with a voltage and current sensor was applied in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for a photovoltaic module array (PVMA), where the power generation performance of a PVMA was enhanced. Due to the partial shading of the PVMA from climate changes or the surrounding environment, multiple peak values were generated on the power–voltage (P-V) curve, where the conventional MPPT technology could only track the local maximum power point (LMPP), hence the reduction in output power of PVMAs. Therefore, the IIBA-based MPPT was proposed in this paper to solve such issues and to ensure the capability of a PVMA in tracking the global maximum power point (GMPP) and utilization for enhancing the output power of a PVMA. Firstly, the Matlab/Simulink software was used to establish a boost converter model that simulated the actual 4-series–3-parallel PVMA under different shaded conditions, where the P-V curve with 1-peak, 2-peak, 3-peak and 4-peak values were generated. Subsequently, the tracking paces of the conventional bat algorithm (BA) were adjusted according to the gradient of the P-V curve for a PVMA. At the same time, 0.8 times the maximum power point (MPP) voltage Vmp under standard test conditions (STCs) for a PVMA was set as the initial tracking voltage. Partial discharge (PD) is a primary factor leading to the deterioration of insulation in electrical equipment. However, it is hard for traditional methods to precisely extract PD signals in increasingly complex engineering environments. This paper proposes a new PD signal denoising method combining Aquila Optimizer–Variational Mode Decomposition (AO-VMD) and K-Singular Value Decomposition (K-SVD) algorithms. Firstly, the AO algorithm optimizes critical parameters of the VMD algorithm. For the PD signal overwhelmed by noise, the AO-VMD algorithm can decompose it and reconstruct it by using kurtosis. In this process, the majority of the noise is removed, and the characteristics of the original signal are shown. Subsequently, the K-SVD algorithm performs sparse decomposition on the signal after OA-VMD, constructs a learned dictionary, and captures the characteristics of the signal for continuous learning and updating. After the dictionary learning is completed, the best matching atoms from the dictionary are selected to precisely reconstruct the original noiseless signal. Finally, the proposed method is compared with three traditional algorithms, Adaptive Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (AEEMD), SVD-VMD, and the Adaptive Wavelet Multilevel Soft Threshold algorithm, on the simulated signal and the actual engineering signal. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the underlying technology that has enabled connecting daily apparatus to the Internet and enjoying the facilities of smart services. IoT marketing is experiencing an impressive 16.7% growth rate and is a nearly USD 300.3 billion market. These eye-catching figures have made it an attractive playground for cybercriminals. IoT devices are built using resource-constrained architecture to offer compact sizes and competitive prices. As a result, integrating sophisticated cybersecurity features is beyond the scope of the computational capabilities of IoT. All of these have contributed to a surge in IoT intrusion. This paper presents an LSTM-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) with a Dynamic Access Control (DAC) algorithm that not only detects but also defends against intrusion. This novel approach has achieved an impressive 97.16% validation accuracy. Unlike most of the IDSs, the model of the proposed IDS has been selected and optimized through mathematical analysis. Additionally, it boasts the ability to identify a wider range of threats (14 to be exact) compared to other IDS solutions, translating to enhanced security. Furthermore, it has been fine-tuned to strike a balance between accurately flagging threats and minimizing false alarms. Its impressive performance metrics (precision, recall, and F1 score all hovering around 97%) showcase the potential of this innovative IDS to elevate IoT security. Recent research has focused on applying blockchain technology to solve security-related problems in Internet of Things (IoT) networks. However, the inherent scalability issues of blockchain technology become apparent in the presence of a vast number of IoT devices and the substantial data generated by these networks. Therefore, in this paper, we use a lightweight consensus algorithm to cater to these problems. We propose a scalable blockchain-based framework for managing IoT data, catering to a large number of devices. This framework utilizes the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm to ensure enhanced performance and efficiency in resource-constrained IoT networks. DPoS being a lightweight consensus algorithm leverages a selected number of elected delegates to validate and confirm transactions, thus mitigating the performance and efficiency degradation in the blockchain-based IoT networks. In this paper, we implemented an Interplanetary File System (IPFS) for distributed storage, and Docker to evaluate the network performance in terms of throughput, latency, and resource utilization. We divided our analysis into four parts: Latency, throughput, resource utilization, and file upload time and speed in distributed storage evaluation. Our empirical findings demonstrate that our framework exhibits low latency, measuring less than 0.976 ms. The proposed technique outperforms Proof of Stake (PoS), representing a state-of-the-art consensus technique. In order to address the challenges of identifying, detecting, and tracking moving objects in video surveillance, this paper emphasizes image-based dynamic entity detection. It delves into the complexities of numerous moving objects, dense targets, and intricate backgrounds. Leveraging the You Only Look Once (YOLOv3) algorithm framework, this paper proposes improvements in image segmentation and data filtering to address these challenges. These enhancements form a novel multi-object detection algorithm based on an improved YOLOv3 framework, specifically designed for video applications. Experimental validation demonstrates the feasibility of this algorithm, with success rates exceeding 60% for videos such as "jogging", "subway", "video 1", and "video 2". Notably, the detection success rates for "jogging" and "video 1" consistently surpass 80%, indicating outstanding detection performance. Although the accuracy slightly decreases for "Bolt" and "Walking2", success rates still hover around 70%. Comparative analysis with other algorithms reveals that this method's tracking accuracy surpasses that of particle filters, Discriminative Scale Space Tracker (DSST), and Scale Adaptive Multiple Features (SAMF) algorithms, with an accuracy of 0.822. This indicates superior overall performance in target tracking. Therefore, the improved YOLOv3-based multi-object detection and tracking algorithm demonstrates robust filtering and detection capabilities in noise-resistant experiments, making it highly suitable for various detection tasks in practical applications. Flocking cohesion is critical for maintaining a group's aggregation and integrity. Designing a potential function to maintain flocking cohesion unaffected by social distance is challenging due to the uncertainty of real-world conditions and environments that cause changes in agents' social distance. Previous flocking research based on potential functions has primarily focused on agents' same social distance and the attraction–repulsion of the potential function, ignoring another property affecting flocking cohesion: well depth, as well as the effect of changes in agents' social distance on well depth. This paper investigates the effect of potential function well depths and agent's social distances on the multi-agent flocking cohesion. Through the analysis, proofs, and classification of these potential functions, we have found that the potential function well depth is proportional to the flocking cohesion. Moreover, we observe that the potential function well depth varies with the agents' social distance changes. Therefore, we design a segmentation potential function and combine it with the flocking control algorithm in this paper. It enhances flocking cohesion significantly and has good robustness to ensure the flocking cohesion is unaffected by variations in the agents' social distance. Meanwhile, it reduces the time required for flocking formation. Subsequently, the Lyapunov theorem and the LaSalle invariance principle prove the stability and convergence of the proposed control algorithm. Finally, this paper adopts two subgroups with different potential function well depths and social distances to encounter for simulation verification. This paper is devoted to the development of general algorithm for solving to the stability problem of anisotropic plates using the additional load discretization method. The study of the stability problem is relevant for all types of structural elements and machine parts, and its importance is especially increasing with respect to anisotropic thin plates. This is due to the fact that with the use of new structures and materials, the material intensity is reduced, the area of application of thin-walled systems with low stiffness, for which the danger of elastic loss of stability increases, and, therefore, the importance and relevance of the theory and methods of practical solution of problems of elastic stability of such structures increases. In many works, analytical expressions for determination of critical load are given. At present, the determination of critical loads causes great difficulties in their numerical determination. Therefore, the article presents the most effective numerical and analytical solution of this problem. As a rule, to solve stability problems of anisotropic plates, different representations of the bending deflection function in different rows are used. But the use of such representations is justified only under certain boundary conditions and under the condition of uniformly distributed load. The study described in this paper offers a way to overcome these difficulties, allowing the numerical values of critical forces to be determined without much difficulty. With increasing grid density, the accuracy of the critical load value increases rapidly and with an 8×8 grid, the deviation from the exact solution equal to is 1 %. From a practical point of view, the discovered mechanism of numerical realization of this problem allows to improve engineering design calculations of stability of anisotropic plates with different conditions on supports and with different loading. This paper thoroughly explores the role of object detection in smart cities, specifically focusing on advancements in deep learning-based methods. Deep learning models gain popularity for their autonomous feature learning, surpassing traditional approaches. Despite progress, challenges remain, such as achieving high accuracy in urban scenes and meeting real-time requirements. The study aims to contribute by analyzing state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms, identifying accurate models for smart cities, and evaluating real-time performance using the Average Precision at Medium Intersection over Union (IoU) metric. The reported results showcase various algorithms' performance, with Dynamic Head (DyHead) emerging as the top scorer, excelling in accurately localizing and classifying objects. Its high precision and recall at medium IoU thresholds signify robustness. The paper suggests considering the mean Average Precision (mAP) metric for a comprehensive evaluation across IoU thresholds, if available. Despite this, DyHead stands out as the superior algorithm, particularly at medium IoU thresholds, making it suitable for precise object detection in smart city applications. Evolutionary multi-objective clustering (EMOC) algorithms have gained popularity recently, as they can obtain a set of clustering solutions in a single run by optimizing multiple objectives. Particularly, in one type of EMOC algorithm, the number of clusters k is taken as one of the multiple objectives to obtain a set of clustering solutions with different k. However, the numbers of clusters k and other objectives are not always in conflict, so it is impossible to obtain the clustering solutions with all different k in a single run. Therefore, evolutionary multi-objective k-clustering (EMO-KC) has recently been proposed to ensure this conflict. However, EMO-KC could not obtain good clustering accuracy on high-dimensional datasets. Moreover, EMO-KC's validity is not ensured as one of its objectives (SSDexp, which is transformed from the sum of squared distances (SSD)) could not be effectively optimized and it could not avoid invalid solutions in its initialization. In this paper, an improved evolutionary multi-objective clustering algorithm based on autoencoder (AE-IEMOKC) is proposed to improve the accuracy and ensure the validity of EMO-KC. The proposed AE-IEMOKC is established by combining an autoencoder with an improved version of EMO-KC (IEMO-KC) for better accuracy, where IEMO-KC is improved based on EMO-KC by proposing a scaling factor to help effectively optimize the objective of SSDexp and introducing a valid initialization to avoid the invalid solutions. Experimental results on several datasets demonstrate the accuracy and validity of AE-IEMOKC. In order to analyze the relay action process from an imaging perspective and further investigate the bounce phenomenon of relay contacts during the contact process, this paper utilizes a high-speed shooting platform to capture images of relay action. In light of the situation where the stationary contact in the image is inclined and continuously changing, a rotation template matching algorithm based on adaptive weight is proposed. The algorithm identifies and obtains the inclination angle of the stationary contact, enabling the study of the relay contact bounce process. By extracting contact bounce distance data from the images, a bounce process curve is plotted. Combined with the analysis of the contact bounce process, the reasons for the bounce are explored. The results indicate that the proposed rotation template matching algorithm can accurately identify stationary contacts and their angles at different angles. By analyzing the contact status and bounce process of the relay contacts in conjunction with the relay structure, parameters such as the bounce time, bounce height, and time required to reach the maximum distance can be calculated. Additionally, the main reason for contact bounce in the relay studied in this paper is the limitation imposed on the continued movement of the stationary contact by the presence of the relay brackets when the kinetic energy of the contact is too high. This phenomenon occurs during the first vibration peak in the vibration process after the moving contact contacts the stationary contact. Oncology has emerged as a crucial field of study in the domain of medicine. Computed tomography has gained widespread adoption as a radiological modality for the identification and characterisation of pathologies, particularly in oncology, enabling precise identification of affected organs and tissues. However, achieving accurate liver segmentation in computed tomography scans remains a challenge due to the presence of artefacts and the varying densities of soft tissues and adjacent organs. This paper compares artificial intelligence algorithms and traditional medical image processing techniques to assist radiologists in liver segmentation in computed tomography scans and evaluates their accuracy and efficiency. Despite notable progress in the field, the limited availability of public datasets remains a significant barrier to broad participation in research studies and replication of methodologies. Future directions should focus on increasing the accessibility of public datasets, establishing standardised evaluation metrics, and advancing the development of three-dimensional segmentation techniques. In addition, maintaining a collaborative relationship between technological advances and medical expertise is essential to ensure that these innovations not only achieve technical accuracy, but also remain aligned with clinical needs and realities. Ensuring the swift and precise tracking of power system signal parameters, especially the frequency, is imperative for the secure and stable operation of power grids. In instances of faults within the distribution network, abrupt changes in frequency may occur, presenting a challenge for existing algorithms that struggle to effectively track such signal variations. Addressing the need for enhanced performance in the face of frequency mutations, this paper introduces an innovative approach--the Covariance Reconstruction Extended Kalman Filter (CREKF) algorithm. Initially, the dynamic signal model of electric power is meticulously analyzed, establishing a dynamic signal relationship based on high-precision time source sampling tailored to the signal model's characteristics. Subsequently, the filter gain, covariance matrix, and variance iteration equation are determined based on the signal relationship among three sampling points. In a final step, recognizing the impact of the covariance matrix on algorithmic tracking ability, the paper proposes a covariance matrix reset mechanism utilizing hysteresis induced by output errors. Through extensive verification with simulated signals, the results conclusively demonstrate that the CREKF algorithm exhibits superior measurement accuracy and accelerated tracking speed when confronted with mutating signals. Wireless sensor network (WSN) location is a significant research area. In complex environments like forests, inaccurate signal intensity ranging is a major challenge. To address this issue, this paper presents a reliable WSN distance measurement-positioning algorithm for forest environments. The algorithm divides the positioning area into several sub-regions based on the discrete coefficient of the collected signal strength. Then, using the fitting method based on the signal intensity value of each sub-region, the algorithm derives the reference points of the logarithmic distance path loss model and path loss index. Finally, the algorithm locates target nodes using anchor nodes in different regions. Additionally, to enhance the positioning accuracy, weight values are assigned to the positioning result based on the discrete coefficient of the signal intensity in each sub-region. With the increase in ocean exploration activities and underwater development, the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) has been widely used as a type of underwater automation equipment in the detection of underwater environments. However, nowadays AUVs generally have drawbacks such as weak endurance, low intelligence, and poor detection ability. The research and implementation of path-planning methods are the premise of AUVs to achieve actual tasks. To improve the underwater operation ability of the AUV, this paper studies the typical problems of path-planning for the ant colony algorithm and the artificial potential field algorithm. In response to the limitations of a single algorithm, an optimization scheme is proposed to improve the artificial potential field ant colony (APF-AC) algorithm. Compared with traditional ant colony and comparative algorithms, the APF-AC reduced the path length by 1.57% and 0.63% (in the simple environment), 8.92% and 3.46% (in the complex environment). The iteration time has been reduced by approximately 28.48% and 18.05% (in the simple environment), 18.53% and 9.24% (in the complex environment). Finally, the improved APF-AC algorithm has been validated on the AUV platform, and the experiment is consistent with the simulation. In recent years, laser technology has made significant advancements, yet there are specific requirements for the energy concentration and uniformity of lasers in various fields, such as optical communication, laser processing, 3D printing, etc. Beam shaping technology enables the transformation of ordinary Gaussian-distributed laser beams into square or circular flat-top uniform beams. Currently, LCOS-based beam shaping algorithms do not adequately meet these requirements, and most of these algorithms do not simultaneously consider the impact of phase quantization and zero-padding, leading to a decrease in the practicality of phase holograms. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel segmented beam shaping algorithm that combines iterative and simulated annealing approaches. Three-colour four-way traffic light completed 100 years in 2020. Even though the traffic light in the form of Semaphore arms has been in use in London since 1868, electric traffic lights came into existence in 1912 and the standard three-colour four-way light in 1920. Research is continuously being carried out to develop better algorithms to improve safety, reduce travel delays, and optimize road capacity. Hence a review of the evolution of traffic lights is warranted. This paper presents an all-round review using a six-prong approach. Timeline of the evolution of the literature in the last 100 years, the evolution of hardware, algorithms, traffic control schemes, standards and the pedestrian lights and count down timer are the six areas in which the review is carried out. As core algorithms of geographic computing, overlay analysis algorithms typically have computation-intensive and data-intensive characteristics. It is highly important to optimize overlay analysis algorithms by parallelizing the vector polygons after reasonable data division. To address the problem of unbalanced data partitioning in the task decomposition process for parallel polygon overlay analysis and calculation, this paper presents a data partitioning method based on shape complexity index optimization, which achieves data equalization among multicore parallel computing tasks. Taking the intersection operator and difference operator of the Vatti algorithm as examples, six polygon shape indexes are selected to construct the shape complexity model, and the vector data are divided in accordance with the calculated shape complexity results. Finally, multicore parallelism is achieved based on OpenMP. The experimental results show that when a data set with a large amount of data is used, the effect of the multicore parallel execution of the Vatti algorithm's intersection operator and difference operator based on shape complexity division is clearly improved. With 16 threads, compared with the serial algorithm, speedups of 29 times and 32 times can be obtained. Compared with the traditional multicore parallel algorithm based on polygon number division, the speed can be improved by 33% and 29%, and the load balancing index is reduced. Since the performance of the spectral moment estimation algorithm commonly used in engineering degrades under the conditions of low SNR, this paper introduces the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) to the spectral moment estimation of weather signals based on the correlation of the signals of adjacent range cells. To solve the problem that the hidden layer nodes of ELM algorithm are difficult to be determined, the Bidirectional Extreme Learning Machine (B-ELM) algorithm is applied to achieve the high resolution of spectral moments. Firstly, to improve the SNR of the training samples, time-domain pulse signals are converted into weather power spectrum by Welch method. Then, the parameters of the B-ELM hidden layer nodes are directly calculated by backpropagation of network residuals. The model parameters are optimized according to the least-squares solution, where the optimal number of hidden layer nodes is determined adaptively. Finally, the optimized B-ELM model is employed for the spectral moment estimation of weather signals. In order to cope with the problems of energy shortage and environmental pollution, carbon emissions need to be reduced and so the structure of the power grid is constantly being optimized. Traditional centralized power networks are not as capable of controlling and distributing non-renewable energy as distributed power grids. Therefore, the optimal dispatch of microgrids faces increasing challenges. This paper proposes a multi-strategy fusion slime mould algorithm (MFSMA) to tackle the microgrid optimal dispatching problem. Traditional swarm intelligence algorithms suffer from slow convergence, low efficiency, and the risk of falling into local optima. The MFSMA employs reverse learning to enlarge the search space and avoid local optima to overcome these challenges. Furthermore, adaptive parameters ensure a thorough search during the algorithm iterations. The focus is on exploring the solution space in the early stages of the algorithm, while convergence is accelerated during the later stages to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The salp swarm algorithm's search mode is also incorporated to expedite convergence. MFSMA and other algorithms are compared on the benchmark functions, and the test showed that the effect of MFSMA is better. Simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the MFSMA for function optimization, particularly in solving the 24 h microgrid optimal scheduling problem. This problem considers multiple energy sources such as wind turbines, photovoltaics, and energy storage. A microgrid model based on the MFSMA is established in this paper. Simulation of the proposed algorithm reveals its ability to enhance energy utilization efficiency, reduce total network costs, and minimize environmental pollution. In view of the problems of high production cost, scarcity and lack of diversity of 3D face datasets, this paper designs an end-to-end self-supervised learning 3D face reconstruction algorithm with a single 2D face image as input, which only uses 2D face datasets to complete model training. First, the improved ResNet module is introduced to preprocess the input face image. The deep residual neural network has strong feature extraction and characterization ability for the image, which can provide rich high-level semantic feature maps for the subsequent subnetwork. Then, add transformer module completely based on self-attention mechanism to the parameter prediction subnetwork, which can make different parameters of the subnetwork focus on self-related feature map information and avoid interference from invalid feature map information, so as to further improve the parameter prediction accuracy of the subnetwork. Next, training, ablation and comparison experiments were conducted on CelebA, BFM and Photoface datasets, and the combined function of pixel loss function and perceptual loss function was selected as the loss function. The experimental results show that: compared with the historical optimal results of the same network structure, the scale-invariant depth error (SIDE) and mean angle deviation (MAD) are improved by 5.9% and 10.8%, respectively, which strongly proves the effectiveness of the algorithm. Finally, in order to verify the actual effect of the 3D face reconstruction algorithm, examples are selected in this paper for reconstruction. In order to solve the problem of lack of detail information and serious damage to the texture of the light source area when the dark channel prior dehazing algorithm processes fog images at night, this paper proposes a dehazing algorithm for nighttime fog images using the dark‐state point light source model. By introducing the dark state point light source model, the dark channel credibility weight factor and the pseudo dehazing image, combined with the nighttime image imaging model, the improved transmittance distribution is obtained, and the fog image at night is dehazed. The experimental results show that the image processed by the algorithm in this paper has little loss of texture details, high image definition, and the contrast between the light and dark of the image is better stretched, which can effectively dehaze the fog image at night. With the rapid development of adversarial example technologies, the concept of adversarial patches has been proposed, which can successfully transfer adversarial attacks to the real world and fool intelligent object detection systems. However, the real-world environment is complex and changeable, and the adversarial patch attack technology is susceptible to real-world factors, resulting in a decrease in the success rate of attack. Existing adversarial-patch-generation algorithms have a single direction of patch initialization and do not fully consider the impact of initial diversification on its upper limit of adversarial patch attack. Therefore, this paper proposes an initial diversified adversarial patch generation technology to improve the effect of adversarial patch attacks on the underlying algorithms in the real world. The method uses YOLOv4 as the attack model, and the experimental results show that the attack effect of the adversarial-patch-attack method proposed in this paper is higher than the baseline 8.46%, and it also has a stronger attack effect and fewer training rounds. In recent years, highway accidents occur frequently, the main reason is that there is always foreign body invasion on the highway, which makes people unable to respond to emergencies in time. In order to reduce the occurrence of highway incidents, an object detection algorithm for highway intrusion was proposed in this paper. Firstly, a new feature extraction module was proposed to better preserve the main information. Secondly, a new feature fusion method was proposed to improve the accuracy of object detection. The problem of information security and copyright protection of video is becoming increasingly prominent. The current video watermarking algorithm does not have strong anti-compression, which has a significant impact on the visual effect of video. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a video watermarking algorithm based on H.264/AVC. The algorithm combines the non-zero quantization coefficient and the energy factor to select the appropriate chroma subblock, and then an optimized modulation is designed to embed the watermark into its DCT quantization coefficients in order to minimize the number of modifications of the subblocks. The invisibility and robustness experiments of the algorithm are conducted in the paper, and the Structural Similarity Indexes are above 0.99, and the False Bit Rates are all below 0.03. With the rapid advancement of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technologies in recent years, their uses have been increasingly adopted in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. To satisfy the needs of various types of construction projects, a considerable amount of research work has been performed to implement and refine the operations, safety, and accuracy of UAVs. This paper presents the findings of a comprehensive literature review that focuses on UAV research in construction management during the timeframe of 2016 to 2021. A total of 95 papers were identified and collected from a list of 21 relevant journals and conference proceedings, and were then categorized by their research topic, sensor types, and targeted structures. The results of 47 exemplary studies were reported in two categories, namely UAV uses and construction uses. The research topics identified for UAV uses include algorithm, applications, operations, framework, and training, while research topics identified for construction use include inspection, surveying, safety, and monitoring. The connection between the research topics, sensor types, targeted structures, and other advanced technologies were also discussed. This paper summarizes the current results of UAV research in construction management, reviews the methodology, benefits, and limitations of the reviewed literature, and provides valuable knowledge for the future trend of UAV applications in the civil, infrastructure, and construction industries. The use of emotion to drive robotic interaction continues to grow across a range of use cases, from social robotics to increased survivability. Nevertheless, these efforts remain isolated from each other and are not easily compared between papers and projects. To this end an extensive survey of 1427 IEEE and ACM publications was conducted, covering robotics and emotion. The survey first resulted in broad categorizations of key trends covering emotional input and output. This was followed by an extended analysis on 232 papers that focused on the internal processing of emotion, where emotion was handled through some kind of algorithm and not just as an input or output. From this analysis, three broad categories were developed: emotional intelligence, emotional model, and implementation. Emotional intelligence captured the manner in which emotion was handled and included the subcategories: algorithm, mapping, and history. The emotional model category captured the emotion categories and number of emotions used, while the implementation category tracked the role, purpose, and platform. This paper concludes with a summary of key features discovered through the process, future opportunities, and a discussion of the intrinsic challenges emerging from the interaction of emotion and robotics. The utilization of ultraviolet (UV) absorption spectroscopy for monitoring the concentration of specific decomposition gas components in gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) can provide a means to assess its insulation status. Nevertheless, UV optical modules currently deployed in the field are susceptible to external interferences like ambient noise and equipment vibrations. Real-time spectral data acquisition often suffers from significant noise contamination, directly impinging on subsequent feature extraction and detection accuracy. This paper presents an optimized singular value decomposition (SVD) noise reduction method for mitigating noisy spectral signals. First, each singular value within the noisy signal is transformed into a component signal. Next, the highest frequency value in the signal serves as an indicator to characterize the signal. Finally, the primary frequency values are arranged based on the decreasing singular values of the original noisy signal. The singular value corresponding to the first primary frequency value surpassing a preset threshold is selected as the effective order for denoising. Random noise with varying intensities was intentionally introduced to the UV spectral signal of sulfur dioxide (SO2), followed by noise reduction procedures. It is shown that the improved SVD noise reduction algorithm proposed in this paper enhances the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) by 18.02% and 16.86%, and reduces the root-mean-square error (RMSE) by 15.13% and 14.92%, respectively, compared with the singular value difference spectrum (SVDS) denoising method and wavelet transform denoising method under the condition of low SNR. Furthermore, there exists a linear relationship between the concentration of SO2 samples and the eigenvalues of the UV spectra, demonstrating a higher linear goodness with a coefficient of 0.99735. The denoising method proposed in this paper does not require the manual setting of various types of parameters, and has a better ability to deal with the noise of UV spectral signals in engineering sites with complex environments. An autonomous place recognition system is essential for scenarios where GPS is useless, such as underground tunnels. However, it is difficult to use existing algorithms to fully utilize the small number of effective features in underground tunnel data, and recognition accuracy is difficult to guarantee. In order to solve this challenge, an efficient point cloud position recognition algorithm, named Dual-Attention Transformer Network (DAT-Net), is proposed in this paper. The algorithm firstly adopts the farthest point downsampling module to eliminate the invalid redundant points in the point cloud data and retain the basic shape of the point cloud, which reduces the size of the point cloud and, at the same time, reduces the influence of the invalid point cloud on the data analysis. After that, this paper proposes the dual-attention Transformer module to facilitate local information exchange by utilizing the multi-head self-attention mechanism. It extracts local descriptors and integrates highly discriminative global descriptors based on global context with the help of a feature fusion layer to obtain a more accurate and robust global feature representation. Experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper achieves an average F 1 score of 0.841 on the SubT-Tunnel dataset and outperforms many existing state-of-the-art algorithms in recognition accuracy and robustness tests. In recent years, many visual positioning algorithms have been proposed based on computer vision and they have achieved good results. However, these algorithms have a single function, cannot perceive the environment, and have poor versatility, and there is a certain mismatch phenomenon, which affects the positioning accuracy. Therefore, this paper proposes a location algorithm that combines a target recognition algorithm with a depth feature matching algorithm to solve the problem of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) environment perception and multi-modal image-matching fusion location. This algorithm was based on the single-shot object detector based on multi-level feature pyramid network (M2Det) algorithm and replaced the original visual geometry group (VGG) feature extraction network with the ResNet-101 network to improve the feature extraction capability of the network model. By introducing a depth feature matching algorithm, the algorithm shares neural network weights and realizes the design of UAV target recognition and a multi-modal image-matching fusion positioning algorithm. When the reference image and the real-time image were mismatched, the dynamic adaptive proportional constraint and the random sample consensus consistency algorithm (DAPC-RANSAC) were used to optimize the matching results to improve the correct matching efficiency of the target. Using the multi-modal registration data set, the proposed algorithm was compared and analyzed to verify its superiority and feasibility. The results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively deal with the matching between multi-modal images (visible image–infrared image, infrared image–satellite image, visible image–satellite image), and the contrast, scale, brightness, ambiguity deformation, and other changes had good stability and robustness. INTRODUCTION: The paper constructs a massive data mining model of distributed spatiotemporal databases for the Internet of Things. Then a homologous data fusion method based on information entropy is proposed. The storage space required by the tree structure is reduced by constructing the data schema tree of the merged data set. Secondly, the optimal dynamic support degree is obtained by using a neural network and genetic algorithm. Frequent items in the Internet of Things data are mined to achieve the normalization of the clustered feature data based on the threshold value. Experiments show that the F-measure of the data mining algorithm improves the efficiency by 15.64% and 18.25% compared with the kinds of other literatures respectively. Due to the unpredictability of the majority of green energy sources (GESs), particularly in microgrids (μGs), frequency deviations are unavoidable. These factors include solar irradiance, wind disturbances, and parametric uncertainty, all of which have a substantial impact on the system's frequency. An adaptive load frequency control (LFC) method for power systems is suggested in this paper to mitigate the aforementioned issues. For engineering challenges, soft computing methods like the bat algorithm (BA), where it proves its effectiveness in different applications, consistently produce positive outcomes, so it is used to address the LFC issue. For online gain tuning, an integral controller using an artificial BA is utilized, and this control method is supported by a modification known as the balloon effect (BE) identifier. Stability and robustness of analysis of the suggested BA+BE scheme is investigated. The system with the proposed adaptive frequency controller is evaluated in the case of step/random load demand. In addition, high penetrations of photovoltaic (PV) sources are considered. The standard integral controller and Jaya+BE, two more optimization techniques, have been compared with the suggested BA+BE strategy. According to the results of the MATLAB simulation, the suggested technique (BA+BE) has a significant advantage over other techniques in terms of maintaining frequency stability in the presence of step/random disturbances and PV source. The suggested method successfully keeps the frequency steady over I and Jaya+BE by 61.5% and 31.25%, respectively. On the transmission line, the invasion of foreign objects such as kites, plastic bags, and balloons and the damage to electronic components are common transmission line faults. Detecting these faults is of great significance for the safe operation of power systems. Therefore, a YOLOv5 target detection method based on a deep convolution neural network is proposed. In this paper, Mobilenetv2 is used to replace Cross Stage Partial (CSP)-Darknet53 as the backbone. The structure uses depth-wise separable convolution to reduce the amount of calculation and parameters; improve the detection rate. At the same time, to compensate for the detection accuracy, the Squeeze-and-Excitation Networks (SENet) attention model is fused into the algorithm framework and a new detection scale suitable for small targets is added to improve the significance of the fault target area in the image. Collect pictures of foreign matters such as kites, plastic bags, balloons, and insulator defects of transmission lines, and sort theminto a data set. Low-Level Virtual Machine (LLVM) compiler infrastructure is a useful tool for building just-in-time (JIT) compilers, besides its reliable front end represented by a clang compiler and its elaborated middle end containing different optimizations that improve the runtime performance. This paper specifically addresses the part of building a JIT compiler using an LLVM with the scope of obtaining the hardware architecture details of the underlying machine such as the number of cores and the number of logical cores per processing unit and providing them to the NUMA-BTLP static thread classification algorithm and to the NUMA-BTDM static thread mapping algorithm. Afterwards, the hardware-aware algorithms are run using the JIT compiler within an optimization pass. The JIT compiler in this paper is designed to run on a parallel C/C++ application (which creates threads using Pthreads), before the first time the application is executed on a machine. To achieve this, the JIT compiler takes the native code of the application, obtains the corresponding LLVM IR (Intermediate Representation) for the native code and executes the hardware-aware thread classification and the thread mapping algorithms on the IR. In the first part of this paper, the phenomena of spectral leakage, which occurs when applying the Discrete Fourier Transformation, is described. After that, q-SE and PCC interpolation algorithm with 1P Keys kernel, which are applied to reduce spectral leakage and increase the precision of fundamental frequency estimation, are described. In the second part of the paper, the results of the Experiment, which was conducted with the aim of determining the efficiency of frequency estimation using these two algorithms, are presented. For the purposes of the Experiment, a complex sinusoidal Test signal was created. The Test signal is modified in the time domain by applying some classic, time-symmetric, window functions. Using DFT the amplitude characteristic of the Test signal was determined. By analyzing the amplitude characteristic the fundamental frequency was estimated. The results of the Experiment, estimating error MSE and the execution time of the algorithms, are presented in tabular and graphical form. Based on the experimental results, a comparative analysis was performed and the high efficiency of the PCC interpolation algorithm with the implemented 1P Keys kernel was indicated. Deep learning-based object detection methods address the problem of how to trade off the object detection accuracy and detection speed of the model. This paper proposes the PBA-YOLOv7 network algorithm, which is based on the YOLOv7 network, and first introduces the PConv, which lightens the ELAN module in the backbone network structure and reduces the number of parameters to improve the detection speed of the network and then designs and introduces the BiFusionNet network, which better aggregates the high-level semantic features and the low-level semantic features; and finally, on this basis, the coordinate attention mechanism is introduced to make the network focus on more critical features without increasing the model complexity. Experiments on the publicly available KITTI's dataset show that the PBA-YOLOv7 network model significantly improves both detection accuracy and detection speed compared to the original YOLOv7 model, with 4% and 7.8% improvement in mAP0.5 and mAP0.5:0.95, respectively, and six frames improvement in FPS. Noncontact heart rate monitoring techniques based on millimeter-wave radar have advantages in unique medical scenarios. However, the accuracy of the existing noncontact heart rate estimation methods is still limited by interference, such as DC offsets, respiratory harmonics, and environmental noise. Additionally, these methods still require longer observation times. Most deep learning methods related to heart rate estimation still need to collect more heart rate marker data for training. To address the above problems, this paper introduces a radar signal-based heart rate estimation network named the "masked phase autoencoders with a vision transformer network" (MVN). This network is grounded on masked autoencoders (MAEs) for self-supervised pretraining and a vision transformer (ViT) for transfer learning. During the phase preprocessing stage, phase differencing and interpolation smoothing are performed on the input phase signal. In the self-supervised pretraining step, masked self-supervised training is performed on the phase signal using the MAE network. In the transfer learning stage, the encoder segment of the MAE network is integrated with the ViT network to enable transfer learning using labeled heart rate data. The innovative MVN offers a dual advantage—it not only reduces the cost associated with heart rate data acquisition but also adeptly addresses the issue of respiratory harmonic interference, which is an improvement over conventional signal processing methods. Driverless technology refers to the technology that vehicles use to drive independently with the help of driverless system under the condition of unmanned intervention. The working environment of construction machinery is bad, and the working conditions are complex. The use of driverless technology can greatly reduce the risk of driver operation, reduce labor costs and improve economic benefits.Aiming at the problem of the GPS positioning signal in the working environment of construction machinery being weak and not able to achieve accurate positioning, this paper uses the fusion SLAM algorithm based on improved NDT to realize the real-time positioning of the whole vehicle through reconstruction of the scene. Considering that the motion characteristics of crawler construction machinery are different from those of ordinary passenger cars, this paper improves the existing pure pursuit algorithm. Simulations and real vehicle tests show that the algorithm combined with the fusion SLAM algorithm can realize the motion control of driverless crawler construction machinery well, complete the tracking of the set trajectory perfectly and have high robustness. Considering that there is no mature walking method of driverless crawler construction machinery for reference, the research of this paper will lay a foundation for the development of driverless crawler construction machinery. The influence maximization (IM) problem aims to find a set of seed nodes that maximizes the spread of their influence in a social network. The positive influence maximization (PIM) problem is an extension of the IM problem, which consider the polar relation of nodes in signed social networks so that the positive influence of seeds can be the most widely spread. To solve the PIM problem, this paper proposes the polar and decay related independent cascade (IC-PD) model to simulate the influence propagation of nodes and the decay of information during the influence propagation in signed social networks. To overcome the low efficiency of the greedy based algorithm, this paper defines the polar reverse reachable (PRR) set and devises a signed reverse influence sampling (SRIS) algorithm. The algorithm utilizes the ICPD model as well as the PRR set to select seeds. There are two phases in SRIS. One is the sampling phase, which utilizes the IC-PD model to generate the PRR set and a binary search algorithm to calculate the number of needed PRR sets. The other is the node selection phase, which uses a greedy coverage algorithm to select optimal seeds. Finally, Experiments on three real-world polar social network datasets demonstrate that SRIS outperforms the baseline algorithms in effectiveness. Especially on the Slashdot dataset, SRIS achieves 24.7% higher performance than the best-performing compared algorithm under the weighted cascade model when the seed set size is 25. ith the rapid development of technology, processing the explosive growth of meteorological data on traditional standalone computing has become increasingly time-consuming, which cannot meet the demands of scientific research and business. Therefore, this paper proposes the implementation of the parallel Clustering Large Application based upon RANdomized Search (CLARANS) clustering algorithm on the Spark cloud computing platform to cluster China’s climate regions using meteorological data from 1988 to 2018. The aim is to address the challenge of applying clustering algorithms to large datasets. In this paper, the morphological similarity distance is adopted as the similarity measurement standard instead of Euclidean distance, which improves clustering accuracy. Furthermore, the issue of local optima caused by an improper selection of initial clustering centers is addressed by utilizing the max-distance criterion. Compared to the k-means clustering algorithm already implemented in the Spark platform, the proposed algorithm has strong robustness, can reduce the interference of outliers in the dataset on clustering results, and has higher parallel performance than the frequently used serial algorithms, thus improving the efficiency of big data analysis. This experiment compares the clustered centroid data with the annual average meteorological data of representative cities in the five typical meteorological regions that exist in China, and the results show that the clustering results are in good agreement with the meteorological data obtained from the National Meteorological Science Data Center.
