This paper aims an approach to some of the most solid assumptions of Literary Theory considering the critique of Michel Foucault and, in lesser extent, that of Roland Barthes and Jacques Derrida. Some of those assumptions include literary criticism in its traditional way, the role of the authorship in literature and the literature itself as an institutional device set up to claim upon the value of the literary discourses. In order to develop Foucault's arguments we undertake a reading of some "minor writings" corresponding to "the first Foucault" in the sixties' decade-keynotes, interviews, journal articles and so on-although we are mostly based on two or three unpublished documents on literature topics from the Michel Foucault Archives located at the Institut Mémoires de l'Édition Contemporaine, in Caen, France. This article is an introduction to the creative research process « (His)tories of Infamous Women » (thesis project presented at the Masters in Literature, UPTC), which explores the topic of infamy, through the writing of imaginary biographies of peasant women from the beginning of the XXc in San Gil and Socorro, Santander. This project uses the literary phenomenon to question the way in which history has been told from a male view point. For this reason, this article reveals the importance of the voice of the infamous subjects in literature and examines the construction of memory in a culture, in the company of authors who have explored this topic in different moments. By trying to put in a common place some trajectories of women and men, we point out conditions of entry and permanence in a career made through the football. Using the concept of "life project" we emphasize some meanings of "dreams", "bets" and "promises" which some footballers choose to remain, and some times, give up to play football. The reflection in this paper attempts to demonstrate how the football played by women and men in a given historical context exposes dissonant conditions under which some trajectories deals with contemporary celebrities and, in a certain way, remake their relationship with fame and recognition, in sum, with power.
