This article reflects on the experiences of the Intercultural Education course of the Federal University of Goiás in 2017 on commercial relations in the indigenous formative process in the light of Ethnomathematics in the contextual theme "Culture and Commerce" during the presential stage of the indigenous students of various ethnicities. The debates were based on trade and culture present in indigenous societies and in the surrounding, which culminated in the development of an ethnographic research. A literature review was carried out in several works by Quijano (2000), D'Ambrosio (2006), Ribeiro (2006) and Barbieri (2014). In this text will be discussed the various meetings that took place, in which there were processes of exchange of knowledge and discussions on commercial relations in which, it was consolidated to the aspirations of each people. In light of this, these reflections in the light of ethnomathematics, allowed a greater interaction and freedom, to the indigenous peoples, against certain "patterns" and actions of behaviors that occurred and occur in front of the western culture. In this way, they allowed the indigenous students to know the reality of the other, that is, an exchange of experience, experience and knowledge around the commercial relations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
