From a psychosocial perspective, the psychoanalytic theory of social defenses can help to understand professionals' resistance to reflexivity when it comes to improving practices and programs. One of the intervention methods developed based on this theory is the Work Discussion Group (WDG), which is a group course designed to support the development of reflective skills in the field of helping relationships. This article presents an ex-post evaluation of a WDG experience with a group of social workers working with young probationers. The aim was to explore how the WDG helped the social workers to overcome their resistance to reflexivity and to reflect on both their relationship with the young people in their care and the probation service as a form of restorative justice. This paper investigates hopes and fears connected with work as an analytic psychotherapist, in a sample of trainees attending the Italian Training School for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (SPP). Candidates were asked to complete a questionnaire with open-ended questions. In the first analysis, we found trainees to be interested in learning an effective therapeutic method to treat patients. Their wish was for a serious, demanding, but nonjudgmental training, which could support the development of both a thoughtful way of using their thinking process and a rigorous clinical method, while respecting their individuality and personality. We asked our candidates whether theoretical concepts and issues related to the analytic method effectively helped them transform difficulties in perspectives. Theoretical tendencies and authors considered to be useful in modern clinical areas such as Internet addiction disorders, Hikikomori (severe social and relational retirement in adolescence), children's school problems, and problems connected with dimensions of parenthood (e.g. LGBT parenting) were explored. A sense of inadequacy when first dealing with difficult clinical situations, and fears about the realistic difficulties of psychotherapy as a trade, today, in Italy, were found. This study, conducted at the Faculty of Education of Burgos in the school year 2013- 2014, analyzes the perception of university students on motivation and social relationships in the classroom that generates audioblog use as a training element and learning. In the study 172 students in 4 subjects of two degrees (Primary and Child) and the two teachers who teach the subjects are involved. Two groups, group A (use audioblog) and group B (no use of audioblog) are generated. The research methodology has been mixed, using both a quantitative analysis (descriptive and inferential) and qualitative (interviews). A pretest-posttest is used, checking how varies student motivation and social climate of the classroom after having taken the subjects. It shows how students who have used audioblog as a training element present an improvement in the social climate in class than those who didn't use it. The age in group A and prior experience in the use of new technologies (NT) in group B are the variables that differ between groups in relation to learning generated in the subject. Based on a study on employees and their immediate manager in a Malaysian organization, we examine the total, direct, and indirect effects of supervisory communication practices with LMX and group commitment using structural equation modeling and bootstrap procedure. Based on our analysis, we found that within the group where the supervisor and subordinates are embedded, positive relationships communication, upward openness communication, and job-relevant communication partially mediated the relation between LMX and group commitment. Most construction repetitive scheduling methods developed so far have been based on the premise that a repetitive project is comprised of many identical production units. Recently, Huang and Sun (2005) developed a workgroup-based repetitive scheduling method that takes the view that a repetitive construction project consists of repetitive activities of workgroups. Instead of repetitive production units, workgroups with repetitive or similar activities in a repetitive project are identified and employed in the planning and scheduling. The workgroup-based approach adds more flexibility to the planning and scheduling of repetitive construction projects and enhances the effectiveness of repetitive scheduling. This work builds on previous research and develops an optimization model for workgroup-based repetitive scheduling. A genetic algorithm (GA) is employed in model formation for finding the optimal or near-optimal solution. A chromosome representation, as well as specification of other parameters for GA analysis, is described in the paper. This review examines research and theory relevant to work groups and teams typically embedded in organizations and existing over time, although many studies reviewed were conducted in other settings, including the laboratory. Research was organized around a two-dimensional system based on time and the nature of explanatory mechanisms that mediated between team inputs and outcomes. These mechanisms were affective, behavioral, cognitive, or some combination of the three. Recent theoretical and methodological work is discussed that has advanced our understanding of teams as complex, multilevel systems that function over time, tasks, and contexts.
