Gastric cancer is the fifth most common malignancy and the third leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Immunotherapy offers promising new treatment options for gastric cancer patients; however, it is only effective in a limited fraction of patients. In this study, we evaluated the composition of 22 tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in TCGA Stomach Adenocarcinoma (STAD) using deconvolution-based method by analyzing the publicly available bulk tumor RNA-seq data. The patients were classified into high-TIL and low-TIL subtypes based on their immune cell profiles and prognosis outputs. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the two subtypes were identified, and GO/KEGG analysis showed that broad immune genes, such as PD-L1 and PD-1, were highly expressed in the high-TIL subtype. A comprehensive protein–protein interaction (PPI) network centered on DEGs was built, and 16 hub genes of the network were further identified. Based on the hub genes, an elastic model with 11 gene signatures (NKG7, GZMB, IL2RB, CCL5, CD8A, IDO1, MYH1, GNLY, CXCL11, GBP5 and PRF1) was developed to predict the high-TIL subtype. In summary, our findings showed that the compositions of TILs within the tumor immune microenvironment of stomach cancer patients are highly heterogeneous, and the profiles of TILs have the potential to be predictive markers of patients' responses and overall survival outcomes. Meloidogyne hispanica infects many economically important crops worldwide and has been listed as a quarantine pest in many countries and as an invasive alien species in China. Accurate identification of this pathogen is essential for the establishment of efficient and sustainable integrated pest management programs. During the field investigations in Hainan, China, we discovered galled roots caused by nematode infestation in the pepper field. Further identification of the nematode isolated from the root galls, including morphological and molecular techniques, confirmed that the isolated population infesting the pepper roots belonged to the species M. hispanica. Upon artificial inoculation under greenhouse conditions, the isolated nematodes induced symptoms that closely resembled those observed in the field. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first documented case of M. hispanica parasitizing pepper crops in China, which will provide valuable basis to formulate targeted control strategies. An RC relaxation oscillator (ROSC) with hybrid temperature compensation as well as the frequency of 2 MHz is proposed in this paper. Frequency stability is enhanced with analog compensation by replicating the path of comparator and level determination logic (LDL), the compensation approach removes the temperature-dependent delay of the comparator and LDL. Since frequency is undesirable at low temperatures (below 0 °C) due to non-zero-temperature-coefficient current and voltage references, as well as weak carrier mobility, digital low temperature compensation is presented to extend the oscillator's operating temperature range to −40 °C–125 °C. The digital compensation module, after hybrid compensation, is then utilized for real-time oscillator calibration by the same operating principle. The presented oscillator with hybrid compensation and real-time calibration is developed in a standard 0.18- μ m CMOS process with the active area of 0.04 mm 2 , and post-simulation results reveal that after hybrid compensation, the temperature coefficient (TC) of this oscillator is 43.97 ppm/°C in the temperature range of −40 °C–125 °C. A 1T2M logic gate design inspired by MRL logic is presented in this paper and a variety of applications based on 1T2M units are promoted. The innovation of this topic is to use the non-volatile nature of memristors with the advantage of small area and volume to constitute a NOT logic with storage function for bridging the gap of memristor-based circuits in the design of NOT gates with the MRL structure instead of transistors in conventional inverters. 1T2M is used in the improved XOR/XNOR logic, and on this basis the combinational logic circuit is designed so as to adapt to more digital circuit, in which the consumption is reduced by the high proportion of memristor in circuit. The implementations of the 1T2M structure demonstrates that 1T2M cell makes an excellent contribution to reducing circuit area and consumption through multiple comparisons. Gastric cancer is a leading cause of cancer-associated deaths worldwide and is considered to be an age-related disease. In younger patients, gastric cancer is biologically more aggressive, and prognosis is worse compared with that in elderly patients. In the present case report, the whole genome and transcriptome was sequenced in a 26-year-old patient with gastric cancer who presented with gastric cancer-related symptoms and was admitted to the First Affiliated Anhui Medical Hospital (Hefei, China) in December 2016. In total, 9 germline and 4 somatic mutations were identified in the patient, and there were more deleterious sites in the germline mutated genes. Genes with somatic mutations, such as MUC2, MUC4, SLC8A2, and with structural variations, including CCND3, FGFR2 and FGFR3, were found to be differentially expressed. Cancer-associated pathways, such as the 'calcium signaling pathway', 'cGMP-PKG signaling pathway' and 'transcriptional mis-regulation' were also enriched at both the genomic and transcriptomic levels. The genes found to have germline (SFRP4), somatic (MUC2, MUC4, SLC8A2) mutations, or structural variations (CCND3, FGFR2 and FGFR3) were differentially expressed in the patient and could be promising precision therapy targets.
