Aiming at the large-scale application of metasurface in the field of radar stealth, we present a hybrid resonance-based and dispersion substrate integrated checkerboard metasurface (CMS) for reducing the radar cross section (RCS) of flat metallic targets. Considering the frequency-dependent characteristics of such a dispersion material, a pair of single and dual resonant artificial magnetic conductor meta-atoms with the modified "crusades-like" cell topologies is employed to maximize the operating bandwidth; besides, a comprehensive and thorough investigation on the resonance mechanism is conducted in this paper to provide an intuitive physical insight of meta-atoms' reflection responses. By comparing the predicted results with simulations, the quasi-periodic effect is introduced to explain the frequency shift of 10 dB RCS reduction bandwidth. In the implementation procedure, a prototype of the designed RCS reducer with a total dimension of 180 × 180 mm2 is fabricated and measured, the 10 dB RCS reduction bandwidth of theoretical simulation and experimental measurement are basically consistent, and the performance improvement of 8 dB RCS reduction in the experimental results can be attributed to the dispersion effects of the dielectric substrate. Herein, inspired by the macrophage's defensive behavior of releasing free radicals to kill bacteria and viruses, a marine antifouling coating with dynamic surfaces is prepared by precise regulation of dynamic covalent bonds. Alkyl radical (R·) derived from oxime-urethane structure attracts and disrupts microbe cell membrane and pili between intimate cells, resulting in excellent anti-biofouling effect. Moreover, the newly exposed coating then continues to break, which ultimately results in the peeling of the layers, thus making barnacles, mussels and other fouling organisms less likely to adhere. Herein, inspired by the defensive behavior of macrophages of releasing free radicals to kill bacteria and viruses, a marine antifouling coating composed of polyurethane incorporating dimethylglyoxime (PU x -DMG) is prepared by precise regulation of dynamic oxime-urethane covalent bonds. The obtained alkyl radical (R·) derived from the cleavage of the oxime-urethane bonds manages to effectively suppress the attachment of marine biofouling. Moreover, the intrinsic dynamic surface makes it difficult for biofouling to adhere and ultimately achieves sustainable antifouling property. Bone is a dynamic organ which continuously undergoes remodeling throughout one's lifetime. Cellular production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) is essential for regulating bone homeostasis. Osteoclasts, multinucleated giant cells differentiated from macrophage lineage, are responsible for osteolytic bone conditions which are closely linked to ROS signaling pathways. In this study, an anti‐ROS enzyme, peroxiredoxin 1 (Prdx1) was found to be expressed both in bone marrow macrophages and osteoclasts. Recombinant Prdx1 protein was found to dose‐dependently inhibit ROS production and osteoclast differentiation. Mechanistically, Prdx1 protein also attenuated NFATc1 activation as well as the expression of C‐Fos, V‐ATPase‐d2, Cathepsin K, and Integrin αV. Collectively, Prdx1 is a negative regulator on osteoclast formation via inhibiting RANKL‐mediated ROS activity, thus suggesting its potential application for treating osteoclast related disorders. Background: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and cholecystitis share overlapping symptoms, including belching, acid reflux, and heartburn. Despite this, the causal relationship between these two conditions remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the causal link between GERD and cholecystitis using a Mendelian randomization (MR) approach. Methods: A two-sample MR analysis was conducted using the inverse variance weighted (IVW), weighted median, weighted mode, and MR-Egger method to assess the causal effects of GERD on the cholecystitis risk. Genome-wide association studies (GWASs) on GERD (N cases = 129080; N controls = 473524) and cholecystitis (N cases = 1930; N controls =359264) were obtained from the IEU Open GWAS project. Various techniques were employed to assess pleiotropy and heterogeneity. Results: Seventy-seven single nucleotide polymorphisms from GERD GWASs were selected as instrumental variables (IVs). The primary IVW method revealed a significant association between GERD and an increased risk of cholecystitis (odds ratio = 1.004; 95% confidence interval = 1.003–1.005, p = 2.68 × 10− 9). The absence of heterogeneity and pleiotropy in the data supports the reliability of the results. Conclusions: GERD was positively associated with the risk of cholecystitis. This study provides insights into potential avenues for the development of prevention strategies and treatment options for cholecystitis in patients with GERD. Solid-state shear milling (S3M) equipment is an evolution from traditional stone mills, enabling the processing of polymer materials and fillers through crushing, mixing, and mechanochemical reactions at ambient temperature. Due to the complex structure of the mill-pan, empirical data alone are insufficient to give a comprehensive understanding of the physicochemical interactions during the milling process. To provide an in-depth insight of the working effect and mechanism of S3M equipment, finite element method (FEM) analysis is employed to simulate the milling dynamics, which substantiates the correlation between numerical outcomes and experimental observations. A model simplification strategy is proposed to optimize calculation time without compromising accuracy. The findings in this work demonstrate the S-S bond breakage mechanism behind stress-induced devulcanization and suggest the structural optimizations for enhancing the devulcanization and pulverization efficiency of S3M equipment, thereby providing a theoretical foundation for its application in material processing. Multidrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (MDR-KP) poses a significant challenge in global healthcare, underscoring the urgency for innovative therapeutic approaches. Phage therapy emerges as a promising strategy amidst rising antibiotic resistance, emphasizing the crucial need to identify and characterize effective phage resources for clinical use. In this study, we introduce a novel lytic phage, RCIP0100, distinguished by its classification into the Chaoyangvirus genus and Fjlabviridae family based on International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV) criteria due to low genetic similarity to known phage families. Our findings demonstrate that RCIP0100 exhibits broad lytic activity against 15 out of 27 tested MDR-KP strains, including diverse profiles such as carbapenem-resistant K. pneumoniae (CR-KP). This positions phage RCIP0100 as a promising candidate for phage therapy. Strains resistant to RCIP0100 also showed increased susceptibility to various antibiotics, implying the potential for synergistic use of RCIP0100 and antibiotics as a strategic countermeasure against MDR-KP. This paper introduces a novel approach for characterizing and estimating the size of incipient cracks, employing Jensen–Shannon divergence and Wasserstein distance for precise measurement. A novel signal correction method is proposed and coupled with Finite Element Modeling can extend the experimental data. The method is verified to accurately quantify incipient cracks with areas as small as 0.02 mm 2 , with a maximum relative error of 3.5% in surface estimation, and accurately discern variations in crack sizes. SUMMARY: We present a novel strategy for performing joint inversion with guided fuzzy c-means (GFCM) clustering coupling and apply it to electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) and ambient noise surface wave (ANSW) data. To accurately extract a priori clustering information, we use density peak clustering (DPC) rather than fuzzy c-means (FCM). The number and centres of resistivity and shear-wave velocity a priori clusters are extracted by DPC and then used to guide the joint inversion with the GFCM clustering coupling of ERT and ANSW data. Synthetic and field data are used to evaluate the flow and algorithm of DPC-GFCM clustering joint inversion. The results of synthetic examples show that the models recovered by the DPC-GFCM clustering joint inversion are nearly the same as the true models and are more accurate than those inverted using individual inversion and FCM-GFCM clustering joint inversion. In the field case, the depths of the stratigraphic interfaces shown in the resistivity and shear-wave velocity models inverted by DPC-GFCM clustering joint inversion are nearly consistent with those from the drilling data. In contrast, the strata recovered by the individual inversion and FCM-GFCM clustering joint inversion significantly differ from the drilling results. Both the synthetic and field examples verify the effectiveness of the DPC-GFCM clustering coupling method used for the joint inversion of ERT and ANSW data acquired from the near surface with strong heterogeneity. This paper analyses the impact mechanisms of environmental investment on the productivity of listed firms in China. The empirical results show that, first of all, environmental investment has a significant negative impact on the productivity of listed firms, which confirms that listed firms have a typical compliance cost effect. Moreover, listed enterprises with low productivity and high productivity are less negatively affected by environmental investment than are listed enterprises with moderate productivity. Secondly, the first-order lag term of environmental investment has a significant inhibitory effect on the productivity of listed companies in the eastern region, but has no significant impact on the productivity of listed companies in the central and western regions. Finally, the increase in environmental investment has a great influence on the productivity of listed firms in heavily polluting industries, but it has no obvious influence on non-heavily polluting industries. The wideband absorption and transmission of frequency-selective rasorber (FSR) remain a persistent challenge in the application of radar devices. In this article, a novel high performance wideband FSR design based on cross bend resonators was proposed. The FSR consists of an upper absorption lossy layer, which offers broad absorption and transmission bands, and a lower bandpass frequency-selective surface that enables a highly selective transmission of incident electromagnetic wave. Full wave simulation results showed that this novel design achieves an absorption bandwidth of 83.7% with more than 90% absorptivity in the frequency range of 5.2–12.7 GHz. Furthermore, the passband's fractional bandwidth for the insertion loss (IL) less than −3 dB is 33.9%, ranging from 14.9 to 21 GHz, with the minimum IL recorded at 0.69 dB at 17.7 GHz. To further verify the proposed method, a prototype FSR with 10 × 10 units of 120 mm × 120 mm was fabricated and the performance of the FSR was tested. The experiment results were in good agreement with the simulated results, and it showed a significant monostatic radar cross-section reduction in the frequency range of 5.3 GHz to 18.3 GHz compared with a metallic plane of the same size. The impact of global population aging on older adults' health and emotional well-being is examined in this study, emphasizing innovative technological solutions to address their diverse needs. Changes in physical and mental functions due to aging, along with emotional challenges that necessitate attention, are highlighted. Gaze estimation and interactive art are utilized to develop an interactive system tailored for elderly users, where interaction is simplified through eye movements to reduce technological barriers and provide a soothing art experience. By employing multi-sensory stimulation, the system aims to evoke positive emotions and facilitate meaningful activities, promoting active aging. Named "Natural Rhythm through Eyes", it allows for users to interact with nature-themed environments via eye movements. User feedback via questionnaires and expert interviews was collected during public demonstrations in elderly settings to validate the system's effectiveness in providing usability, pleasure, and interactive experience for the elderly. Key findings include the following: (1) Enhanced usability of the gaze estimation interface for elderly users. (2) Increased enjoyment and engagement through nature-themed interactive art. (3) Positive influence on active aging through the integration of gaze estimation and interactive art. SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) is essential for accurate positioning and reasonable path planning in outdoor mobile robots. LiDAR SLAM is currently the dominant method for creating outdoor environment maps. However, the mainstream LiDAR SLAM algorithms have a single point cloud feature extraction process at the front end, and most of the loop closure detection at the back end is based on RNN (radius nearest neighbor). This results in low mapping accuracy and poor real-time performance. To solve this problem, we integrated the functions of point cloud segmentation and Scan Context loop closure detection based on the advanced LiDAR-inertial SLAM algorithm (LIO-SAM). First, we employed range images to extract ground points from raw LiDAR data, followed by the BFS (breadth-first search) algorithm to cluster non-ground points and downsample outliers. Then, we calculated the curvature to extract planar points from ground points and corner points from clustered segmented non-ground points. Finally, we used the Scan Context method for loop closure detection to improve back-end mapping speed and reduce odometry drift. Experimental validation with the KITTI dataset verified the advantages of the proposed method, and combined with Walking, Park, and other datasets comprehensively verified that the proposed method had good accuracy and real-time performance. Automatic modulation classification models based on deep learning models are at risk of being interfered by adversarial attacks. In an adversarial attack, the attacker causes the classification model to misclassify the received signal by adding carefully crafted adversarial interference to the transmitted signal. Based on the requirements of efficient computing and edge deployment, a lightweight automatic modulation classification model is proposed. Considering that the lightweight automatic modulation classification model is more susceptible to interference from adversarial attacks and that adversarial training of the lightweight auto‐modulation classification model fails to achieve the desired results, an adversarial attack defense system for the lightweight automatic modulation classification model is further proposed, which can enhance the robustness when subjected to adversarial attacks. The defense method aims to transfer the adversarial robustness from a trained large automatic modulation classification model to a lightweight model through the technique of adversarial robust distillation. The proposed method exhibits better adversarial robustness than current defense techniques in feature fusion based automatic modulation classification models in white box attack scenarios. Steroid-resistant asthma (SRA), resisting glucocorticoids such as dexamethasone (DEX), is a bottleneck in the treatment of asthma. It is characterized by a predominantly neutrophilic inflammatory subtype and is prone to developing into severe refractory asthma and fatal asthma. Currently, there is a lack of universally effective treatments for SRA. Moreover, since cold stimulation does increase the risk of asthma development and exacerbate asthma symptoms, the treatment of cold-stimulated SRA (CSRA) will face greater challenges. To find effective new methods to ameliorate CSRA, this study established a CSRA mouse model of allergic airway inflammation mimicking human asthma for the first time and evaluated the alleviating effects of 80% ethanol extract of mountain-cultivated ginseng (MCG) based on multi-omics analysis. The results indicate that cold stimulation indeed exacerbated the SRA-related symptoms in mice; the DEX individual treatment did not show a satisfactory effect; while the combination treatment of DEX and MCG could dose-dependently significantly enhance the lung function; reduce neutrophil aggregation; decrease the levels of LPS, IFN-γ, IL-1β, CXCL8, and IL-17; increase the level of IL-10; alleviate the inflammatory infiltration; and decrease the mucus secretion and the expression of MUC5AC. Moreover, the combination of DEX and high-dose (200 mg/kg) MCG could significantly increase the levels of tight junction proteins (TJs), regulate the disordered intestinal flora, increase the content of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), and regulate the abnormal gene profile and metabolic profile. Multi-omics integrated analysis showed that 7 gut microbes, 34 genes, 6 metabolites, and the involved 15 metabolic/signaling pathways were closely related to the pharmacological effects of combination therapy. In conclusion, integrated multi-omics profiling highlighted the benefits of MCG for CSRA mice by modulating the interactions of microbiota, genes, and metabolites. Background: Hypokalemic rhabdomyolysis is a rare clinical manifestation of primary aldosteronism, making its diagnosis challenging, particularly when it becomes the primary presenting symptom. Herein, we present a case of primary aldosteronism with hypokalemic rhabdomyolysis and conduct a related literature review. Case presentation: We report the case of a 54-year-old Chinese male patient who presented with intermittent weakness over the past year and was admitted with sudden limb paralysis for 2 days. The final diagnosis was primary aldosteronism accompanied by hypokalemic rhabdomyolysis syndrome. By reviewing the related Chinese and English literature, we noticed that only a few cases were published since 1978. After excluding irrelevant literatures, we summarized and analyzed 43 patients of with primary aldosteronism accompanied by hypokalemic rhabdomyolysis syndrome. All patients showed good recovery, with normalized blood potassium levels, and a majority achieved normalized blood pressure. Some patients still required medication for blood pressure control. Conclusions: Primary aldosteronism rarely causes rhabdomyolysis; the occurrence of severe hypokalemia and rhabdomyolysis should prompt consideration of primary aldosteronism in the differential diagnosis. Amyloid aggregation and oxidative stress are considered key issues in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Currently, few existing treatment strategies address these critical issues. An imidazolyl ionic liquid functionalized carbon dot was created in this study. Through hydrophobic interaction, the nanoparticle can attach to lysozyme and inhibit the self-assembly process brought on by hydrophobic interaction. Thioflavin T (ThT) analysis showed that CDs@IL inhibited amyloid fibril aggregation in a dose-dependent manner for a long time (inhibition efficiency of 80% and depolymerization efficiency of 74%). Circular dichroism (CD) further indicated that CDs@IL can significantly inhibit the transformation of lysozyme from α-helical structure to β-sheet structure. At the same time, CDs@IL had excellent free radical scavenging ability, which can effectively alleviate the negative effects of oxidative stress. More importantly, biological experiments proved the good biocompatibility of CDs@IL, which indicated the potential of our system as a future therapeutic platform for amyloidosis. In the context of global warming, the accelerated degradation of circum-Arctic permafrost is releasing a significant amount of carbon. InSAR can indirectly reflect the degradation of permafrost by monitoring its deformation. This study selected three typical permafrost regions in North America: Alaskan North Slope, Northern Great Bear Lake, and Southern Angikuni Lake. These regions encompass a range of permafrost landscapes, from tundra to needleleaf forests and lichen-moss, and we used Sentinel-1 SAR data from 2018 to 2021 to determine their deformation. In the InSAR process, due to the prolonged snow cover in the circum-Arctic permafrost, we used only SAR data collected during the summer and applied a two-stage interferogram selection strategy to mitigate the resulting temporal decorrelation. The Alaskan North Slope showed pronounced subsidence along the coastal alluvial plains and uplift in areas with drained thermokarst lake basins. Northern Great Bear Lake, which was impacted by wildfires, exhibited accelerated subsidence rates, revealing the profound and lasting impact of wildfires on permafrost degradation. Southern Angikuni Lake's lichen and moss terrains displayed mild subsidence. Our InSAR results indicate that more than one-third of the permafrost in the North American study area is degrading and that permafrost in diverse landscapes has different deformation patterns. Crop models are instrumental in simulating resource utilization in agriculture, yet their complexity necessitates extensive calibration, which can impact the accuracy of yield predictions. Machine learning shows promise for enhancing yield estimations but relies on vast amounts of training data. This study aims to improve the pakchoi yield prediction accuracy of simulation models. We developed a stacking ensemble learning model that integrates three base models—EU-Rotate_N, Random Forest Regression and Support Vector Regression—with a Multi-layer Perceptron as the meta-model for the pakchoi dry matter yield prediction. To enhance the training dataset and bolster machine learning performance, we employed the EU-Rotate_N model to simulate daily dry matter yields for unsampled data. The test results revealed that the stacking model outperformed each base model. The stacking model achieved an R² value of 0.834, which was approximately 0.1 higher than that of the EU-Rotate_N model. The RMSE and MAE were 0.283 t/ha and 0.196 t/ha, respectively, both approximately 0.6 t/ha lower than those of the EU-Rotate_N model. Utilization of large aggregates can promote energy conservation and emissions reductions, and large aggregates have been widely used in hydraulic concrete. The failure criterion for concrete material utilizing large aggregates forms the basis for constitutive models and structural design. However, the concrete failure criterion with respect to large aggregates has never been researched. To this end, the authors first conducted a series of triaxial compressive tests on concrete specimens with scaled aggregates. On this basis, several 3D mesoscopic numerical models were established with different aggregate gradations and used to simulate the triaxial compressive behaviors of hydraulic concrete after the models had been verified by experimental results. The results showed a pronounced aggregate-gradation effect on triaxial compressive behaviors, and concrete mixes with larger aggregates usually have higher compressive strength, especially under conditions of higher confinement. The normalized peak strength can increase by up to 23.49%. Finally, based on the available testing data, the strength criterion in different constitutive models is discussed and modified to allow more accurate simulation of the dynamic responses of and damage to fully graded concrete structures. This result can provide a theoretical basis on which construction entities can optimize the mix proportions of fully graded concrete and detect the failure modes of concrete structures. Laser bending forming, as a flexible and die-less forming approach, facilitates the three-dimensional shaping of sheets through the generation of thermal stress via laser-material interaction. In this study, the bending forming characteristics of CoCrFeMnNi high-entropy alloy sheets induced by nanosecond pulse laser irradiation were systematically investigated. The effects of parameters including laser power, scanning speed, number of scans, scanning interval, and sheet size on the bending angle, cross-sectional morphology, and hardness were studied in detail under both the laser single-line and multi-line scanning modes. The experimental results confirmed the effectiveness of nanosecond pulse laser irradiation for achieving accurate formation of CoCrFeMnNi sheets, with the successful fabrication of J, L, and U-shaped metal components. Apart from the forming ability, the cross-sectional hardness was significantly increased due to the grain refinement effect of nanosecond pulse laser irradiation. Furthermore, employing the laser single-line scanning mode enabled the effective rectification of overbending parts, showcasing complete recovery for small-angle overbending, and a remarkable 91% recovery for larger-angle overbending. This study provides an important basis for the bendability of CoCrFeMnNi sheets by laser forming and elucidates the evolution of the microstructure and mechanical properties in the bending region. Topology optimization has emerged as a versatile design tool embraced across diverse domains. This popularity has led to great efforts in the development of education-centric topology optimization codes with various focuses, such as targeting beginners seeking user-friendliness and catering to experienced users emphasizing computational efficiency. In this study, we introduce FEniTop, a novel 2D and 3D topology optimization software developed in Python and built upon the open-source FEniCSx library, designed to harmonize usability with computational efficiency and post-processing for fabrication. FEniTop employs a modular architecture, offering a unified input script for defining topology optimization problems and six replaceable modules to streamline subsequent optimization tasks. By enabling users to express problems in the weak form, FEniTop eliminates the need for matrix manipulations, thereby simplifying the modeling process. The software also integrates automatic differentiation to mitigate the intricacies associated with chain rules in finite element analysis and sensitivity analysis. Furthermore, FEniTop provides access to a comprehensive array of readily available solvers and preconditioners, bolstering flexibility in problem-solving. FEniTop is designed for scalability, furnishing robust support for parallel computing that seamlessly adapts to diverse computing platforms, spanning from laptops to distributed computing clusters. It also facilitates effortless transitions for various spatial dimensions, mesh geometries, element types, and orders, and quadrature degrees. Apart from the computational benefits, FEniTop facilitates the automated exportation of optimized designs, compatible with open-source ParaView software for post-processing. This functionality allows for visualizing optimized designs across diverse mesh geometries and element shapes, automatically smoothing 3D designs, and converting smoothed designs into STereoLithography (STL) files for 3D printing. To illustrate the capabilities of FEniTop, we present five representative examples showcasing topology optimization across 2D and 3D geometries, structured and unstructured meshes, solver switching, and complex boundary conditions. We also assess the parallel computational efficiency of FEniTop by examining its performance across diverse computing platforms, process counts, problem sizes, and solver configurations. Finally, we demonstrate a physical 3D-printed model utilizing the STL file derived from the design optimized by FEniTop. Because of the lack of good seedling positioning during vegetable grafting, there are issues such as high labor costs and long grafting time. This article proposes a negative pressure suction seedling positioning method for seed leaves based on the characteristic parameters of cucumber spike wood, and designs a flexible adsorption positioning mechanism for spike wood. Firstly, the ventral surface curve trajectories of cucumber cotyledons were extracted using Matlab software, and then a shape-adaptive design was applied to the attachment surface of the flexible suction positioning mechanism, and a computational fluid dynamics model of the airflow field was established. By combining Fluent simulation analysis with orthogonal experiments, the effect of suction hole diameter, vacuum negative pressure value, suction hole quantity, and suction hole depth on the adsorption effect of the suction head was analyzed, the main and secondary factors and operational indicators that affect the adsorption effect are evaluated. The optimal parameter combination: suction hole diameter of 1.5 mm, vacuum negative pressure value of 2 kPa, suction hole quantity of 42, and suction hole depth of 2 mm, has been found. A verification experiment was conducted on a test bench, and the experimental results show that the success rate of leaf absorption using the optimal parameter combination is 97.69%, which indicates that the suction head is designed reasonably and meets the requirements of grafting. Objective: The primary objective of this study was to explore the clinical characteristics of apoplectic intratumoral hemorrhage in gliomas and offer insights for improving the diagnosis and treatment of this disease. Methods: We analyzed the clinical data of 35 patients with glioma and hemorrhage. There were eight cases of multiple cerebral lobe involvement, and 22 cases involved a single lobe. Twenty-one patients had a preoperative Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of ≥ 9 and had a craniotomy with tumor resection and hematoma evacuation after undergoing preoperative preparation. A total of 14 patients with GCS < 9, including one with thalamic hemorrhage breaking into the ventricles and acute obstructive hydrocephalus, underwent craniotomy for tumor resection after external ventricular drainage (EVD). One patient had combined thrombocytopenia, which was surgically treated after platelet levels were normalized through transfusion. The remaining 12 patients received immediate intervention in the form of craniotomy hematoma evacuation and tumor resection. Results: We performed subtotal resection on three tumors of thalamic origin and two tumors of corpus callosum origin, but we were able to successfully resect all the tumors in other locations that were gross total resection Pathology results showed that 71.43% of cases accounted for WHO-grade 4 tumors. Among the 21 patients with a GCS score of ≥ 9, two died perioperatively. Fourteen patients had a GCS score < 9, of which eight patients died perioperatively. Conclusions: Patients with a preoperative GCS score ≥ 9 who underwent subemergency surgery and received aggressive treatment showed a reasonable prognosis. We found their long-term outcomes to be correlated with the pathology findings. Single‐cell multiomic and exosome analyses are potent tools in various fields, such as cancer research, immunology, neuroscience, microbiology, and drug development. They facilitate the in‐depth exploration of biological systems, providing insights into disease mechanisms and aiding in treatment. Single‐cell isolation, which is crucial for single‐cell analysis, ensures reliable cell isolation and quality control for further downstream analyses. Microfluidic chips are small lightweight systems that facilitate efficient and high‐throughput single‐cell isolation and real‐time single‐cell analysis on‐ or off‐chip. Therefore, most current single‐cell isolation and analysis technologies are based on the single‐cell microfluidic technology. This review offers comprehensive guidance to researchers across different fields on the selection of appropriate microfluidic chip technologies for single‐cell isolation and analysis. This review describes the design principles, separation mechanisms, chip characteristics, and cellular effects of various microfluidic chips available for single‐cell isolation. Moreover, this review highlights the implications of using this technology for subsequent analyses, including single‐cell multiomic and exosome analyses. Images captured under low-light conditions often suffer from low contrast, high noise, and uneven brightness due to nightlight, backlight, and shadow. These challenges make it difficult to use them as high-quality inputs for visual tasks. Existing low-light enhancement methods tend to increase overall image brightness, which can cause overexposure of normal-light areas after enhancement. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an Uneven Dark Vision Network (UDVN) that consists of two sub-networks. The Luminance Domain Network (LDN) uses Direction-aware Spatial Context (DSC) and Feature Enhancement Module (FEM) to segment different light regions in the image and output the luminance domain mask. Guided by this mask, the Light Enhancement Network (LEN) uses the Cross-Domain Transformation Residual block (CDTR) to adaptively illuminate different regions with various lights. We also introduce a new region loss function to constrain the LEN to better enhance the quality of different light regions. In addition, we have constructed a new low-light synthesis dataset (UDL) that is larger, more diverse, and includes uneven lighting states in the real world. Extensive experiments on several benchmark datasets demonstrate that our proposed method is highly competitive with state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods. Specifically, it outperforms other methods in light recovery and detail preservation when processing uneven low-light images. Solar‐driven photoelectrochemical (PEC) reactions using colloidal quantum dots (QDs) as photoabsorbers have shown great potential for the production of clean fuels. However, the low H2 evolution rate, consistent with low values of photocurrent density, and their limited operational stability are still the main obstacles. To address these challenges, the heterostructure engineering of asymmetric capsule‐shaped CdSe/CdxZn1‐xSe QDs with broad absorption and efficient charge extraction compared to pure‐shell QDs is reported. By engineering the shell composition from pure ZnSe shells into CdxZn1‐xSe gradient shells, the electron transfer rate increased from 4.0 × 107 s−1 to 32.7 × 107 s−1. Moreover, the capsule‐shaped architecture enables more efficient spatial carrier separation, yielding a saturated current density of average of 25.4 mA cm−2 under AM 1.5 G one sun illumination. This value is the highest ever observed for QDs‐based devices and comparable to the best‐known Si‐based devices, perovskite‐based devices, and metal oxide‐based devices. Furthermore, PEC devices based on heterostructured QDs maintained 96% of the initial current density after 2 h and 82% after 10 h under continuous illumination, respectively. The lunar surface exhibits noticeable variations in photometric properties across different regions, influenced by their specific compositional and physical characteristics. These variations are particularly pronounced at the millimeter to centimeter scale. In this study, we propose a feature subspace-based sample selection method to identify Chang'E-4 Visible Near-infrared Imaging Spectrometer (CE-4 VNIS) in situ observations that share similar photometric properties at the centimeter scale. By constructing a feature subspace through principal component transformation, the CE-4 VNIS observation sites with comparable surface photometric properties are able to be selected from a series of observations. The selection results demonstrate that the majority of observation sites are covered by the lunar regolith, with a few exceptions consisting of rocks, soil bulk, shadows, and rough surfaces. These observations should be excluded from the photometric correction process during phase function fitting. Analyzing the photometric performance of the VNIS data with lunar regolith reveals that reflectance decreases as the phase angle increases below 80°, while above 80°, reflectance increases with increasing phase angle. This phenomenon is likely attributed to stronger forward scattering. Thus, a second-order polynomial is employed to fit the phase function for VNIS data. Consequently, a photometric model is developed for lunar regolith observed by CE-4 VNIS, incorporating the fitted phase function. Experimental results demonstrate reduced differences among observations with varying phase angles, and the corrected VNIS spectra exhibit a phase-reddening effect. These findings validate the effectiveness of the proposed model. A comparison between the corrected data with and without sample selection reveals a 33 % decrease in mean standard deviation for VIS/NIR bands and a 19 % decrease for SWIR bands in the corrected spectra after sample selection. We consider a class of finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional locally coupled systems of periodic Hill-type equations with impacts. First, for finite dimensional systems, with assumptions of superlinearity on the restoring forces and boundedness on the coupling terms, we show the twist properties of the Poincaré maps on the suitably large torus in each sub-phase plane. Then, by a high-dimensional zero point theorem, it is proved the existence of infinitely many symmetric harmonic and subharmonic bouncing solutions. Second, we consider an infinite-dimensional system as a limit case of a sequence of finite-dimensional systems. By a detailed discussions for taking limits, it is proved that a sequence of even and periodic bouncing solutions of some finite-dimensional systems can converge to an even and periodic bouncing solution of the infinite-dimensional system. Chinese Americans have been known for underutilization of mental health services and premature termination. This study explores these phenomena through Chinese cultural and psychoanalytical perspectives. Specifically, two sets of factors were identified: precipitating and receptivity factors. The precipitating factors include childrearing practices and pursuit of education by studying abroad at an early age. The receptivity factors include the lack of familiarity with psychoanalysis, the emphasis of efficiency in Chinese culture, shame and stigma associated with mental illness, and the seeming reluctance of this ethnic group to opening up to professional strangers. A brief review of studies on Asian American mental health was conducted. Early termination was further discussed through psychoanalytic concepts and theories including Bion's maternal reverie, attacks on linking, and container and contained; Winnicott's primary maternal preoccupation; and Meltzer's apprehension of beauty and aesthetic conflict. The time for smoke gas to reach a smoke detector would depend on its structural characteristics. However, previous studies have neglected to explore this issue. In this paper, three structural variables of a cylindrical smoke detector with a cover are chosen, and the response surface method is used to carry out the experimental design. Furthermore, the incidence point velocity and center point velocity are calculated using the computational fluid dynamics simulation, and the alarm time is obtained using a homemade device. The three parameters that influence the outcomes are then examined to obtain empirical formulas and the best solutions. Comparatively, we observe that the smoke ingress effect is most significantly influenced by the top cover height. After optimization, the incidence point velocity is increased by 115.94 %, the center point velocity is increased by 119.64 %, the alarm time is reduced by 68.57 %, and the gas flowability performance is noticeably improved. The multimode underwater acoustic communication network is a novel form of underwater acoustic communication that adjusts its communication mode to enhance overall performance. Current performance analysis methods are primarily applied to single-mode networks and assume uniform communication capability across all nodes, making them unsuitable for multimode networks. This paper investigates the multimode communication of the physical layer, considering factors such as the marine environment, the node transmitting sound source level, and the transmitting distance. A decoding conflict model is proposed to support multimode concurrent transmission scenarios. The communication mode is designed to be compatible with the channel and node characteristics. Additionally, using a Markov decision process, this paper establishes a performance evaluation and analysis model for multimode underwater acoustic networks to determine throughput performance limits in real underwater environments. Simulations across various scenarios validate that the throughput performance limits obtained by this method are more accurate under multimode networks, with an improvement in accuracy of over 67.5% compared to existing methods. The present investigations on tandem wing configurations primarily revolve around the effects of the spacing L and the phase difference φ between the forewing and the hindwing on aerodynamic performance. However, in nature, organisms employing biplane flight, such as dragonflies, demonstrate the ability to achieve superior aerodynamic performance by flexibly adjusting their flapping trajectories. Therefore, this study focuses on the effects of φ , as well as the trajectory of the hindwing, on aerodynamic performance. By summarizing four patterns of wake–wing interaction processes, it is indicated that φ = − 90 ∘ and 0 ∘ enhances the thrust of the hindwing, while φ = 90 ∘ and 180 ∘ result in reductions. Furthermore, the wake–wing interactions and shedding modes are summarized corresponding to three kinds of trajectories, including elliptical trajectories, figure-eight trajectories, and double figure-eight trajectories. The results show that the aerodynamic performance of the elliptical trajectory is similar to that of the straight trajectory, while the figure-eight trajectory with positive surging motion significantly enhances the aerodynamic performance of the hindwing. In the course of damage and fracture, the material undergoes energy evolution. The crack driving force, known as configurational force or material force, is generated due to the change of potential energy. We employed the configurational force approach in conjunction with the viscoelastic–elastic correspondence principle to investigate the mechanisms of crack initiation, propagation, and rheological fracture. The configurational force balance equation is obtained by evaluating the first-order variation of potential energy functionals within the undeformed configuration and deformed configuration. The boundary of the crack-tip plastic zone is assessed by both Mises Cauchy stress and Mises configurational stress under the conditions of small scale yielding. Furthermore, the critical crack-tip plastic zone area is used to predict the fracture load. The fracture mechanisms of viscoelastic bodies are elucidated based on the viscoelastic correspondence principle. The crack-tip plastic zone and fracture loads at different times are computed using the standard linear body. The critical size and load for delayed instability of cracks are derived, and then the crack state factor is proposed. Additionally, the Kachanov creep law is employed to characterize the viscoelastic fracture behavior. The results show that the size, shape, and other characteristics of the crack-tip plastic zone, evaluated by Mises Cauchy stress and Mises configurational stress, exhibit consistency. The critical plastic zone area is performed using functions of dimensionless factors, and the predicted results are consistent with experimental observations and those obtained by the maximum tangential stress fracture criterion. Over time, the crack-tip plastic zone exhibits a progressive enlargement, while the critical load envelope undergoes a gradual reduction. The crack state factor relates to the crack inclination angle and K IIC / K IC , decreases as the crack inclination angle increases, and the critical crack size and load for delayed crack instability reduce as CSF increases. Chiral metamaterials have been proven to possess many appealing mechanical phenomena, such as negative Poisson's ratio, high-impact resistance, and energy absorption. This work extends the applications of chiral metamaterials to underwater sound insulation. Various chiral metamaterials with low acoustic impedance and proper stiffness are inversely designed using the topology optimization scheme. Low acoustic impedance enables the metamaterials to have a high and broadband sound transmission loss (STL), while proper stiffness guarantees its robust acoustic performance under a hydrostatic pressure. As proof-of-concept demonstrations, two specimens are fabricated and tested in a water-filled impedance tube. Experimental results show that, on average, over 95% incident sound energy can be isolated by the specimens in a broad frequency range from 1 kHz to 5 kHz, while the sound insulation performance keeps stable under a certain hydrostatic pressure. Background: Laryngeal leukoplakia (LL) is a white lesion with high potential of recurrence and malignant transformation. Currently, CO2 laser has become the primary surgical treatment for LL, and the recurrence and malignant transformation rates after treatment vary widely. Objective: We performed a systematic review and meta‐analysis dedicated to evaluating the rates of recurrence and malignant transformation of LL lesions treated with CO2 laser and exploring relevant risk factors for recurrence or malignant transformation. Methods: Literature searches were conducted on ProQuest, PubMed, Web of Science, Ovid Medline, Embase, and Cochrane databases. Some articles identified through hand searching were included. Results: A total of 14 articles and 1462 patients were included in this review. Pooled results showed that the overall recurrence rate was 15%, and the malignant transformation rate was 3%. Subgroup analysis showed that the dysplasia grade was not a significant risk factor for the recurrence and malignant transformation of LL (P >.05). Conclusions: The results of this systematic review and meta‐analysis suggest that the CO2 laser is a safe and effective surgical instrument for the excision of LL, which yields low rates of recurrence and malignant transformation. The increasing global demand for electric vehicles is evidence of the general recognition among the public regarding issues tied to climate change, carbon emissions, and air pollution. China has experienced a rapid expansion in its New Energy Vehicle (NEV) market over recent years, establishing itself as the largest such market globally. This research endeavors to comprehend how consumers' value systems contribute to their intent to purchase NEVs. The proposed model was assessed using the data collected from a Chinese sample. Employing a multi-faceted approach, this study uncovers the diverse ways in which consumers with varying value orientations evaluate NEVs and formulate intentions to support governmental initiatives. Furthermore, the study examines the interplay between consumers' value assessments, their inclination to endorse governmental efforts, and their intentions to purchase NEVs. The study's findings underscore the role of consumers' value orientation in shaping their perceptions of NEVs. Polycrystalline SnSe, renowned for its environmental sustainability, holds promise as a significant thermoelectric material, attracting considerable research attention. This study focuses on the thermoelectric properties of p-type polycrystalline SnSe doped with silver copper telluride (AgCuTe). Our experimental results conclusively show that the decomposition products of AgCuTe not only fill Sn vacancies but also act as acceptors, thereby introducing additional hole carriers. This leads to a notable improvement in both carrier mobility and concentration. Importantly, the thermal conductivity of the doped samples remains largely unchanged, as the lattice flattening strategy significantly boosts electrical performance without affecting lattice thermal conductivity. Ultimately, the doped sample Sn0.97Se-0.5%AgCuTe resulted in a power factor of 6.2 mW mK−1 and a peak ZT value of 1.4 at 798 K, representing a 109% improvement in ZT value. Underwater acoustic transducer based on high piezoelectric phase volume fraction, large thickness, large area and curved piezoelectric composites (PC) possess wider beam width, higher source level and better directivity. However, the curved PC with large size is difficult to fabricate. The preparation of curved PC with large size and high piezoelectric phase volume fraction is even more tricky. The reported methods have risks of depolarization, deformation and poor periodicity and are not suitable for preparing PC with high piezoelectric phase volume fraction and large thickness. In this work, we proposed a novel fabrication method of the shaped-mold-assisted dice and fill technology. The 1–3 PC with high piezoelectric ceramic volume fraction of 80 %, thickness of 4.3 mm and area of 340 mm × 77 mm and the 2-2 PC with high piezoelectric ceramic volume fraction of 89.5 %, thickness of 5 mm and area of 262 mm × 20 mm were fabricated. The piezoelectric coefficient d 33 and relative constant stress permittivity ε 33 T / ε 0 of 1–3 and 2-2 PCs were comparable to piezoelectric phase itself. In addition, both 1–3 and 2-2 PCs exhibited a favorable performance consistency. This method solved the problem of limited cutting depth of thin blade, realizing PC with the structure of high piezoelectric phase volume fraction (＞ 70 %) and large thickness (＞ 3 mm) and eliminates the risk of depolarization, deformation and poor periodicity. This work enabled the potential for achieving large area, high piezoelectric phase volume and special-shaped PCs, which offers new ideas for designing innovative acoustic transducers and facilitates the progress of acoustic sensing technology. Minimum circle circumnavigation is proposed in this paper, which is of special value in target monitoring, capturing and/or attacking. With this new pattern, our goal is to steer one agent to enclose multiple targets along a safe and minimum circular orbit with the desired tangential speed. This is achieved by a control protocol with dynamic compensators, which is also capable of avoiding collision between the agent and the multiple targets during the whole operational process. The control protocol is further extended to the scenarios of multiple agents circulating a group of targets by adding a coordination mechanism into the tangential velocity term, which allows the agents to distribute evenly on each expected circular orbit with the same or different radius. We consider the two-dimensional capillary-gravity water waves problem where the free surface Γ t intersects the bottom Γ b at two contact points. In our previous works (Ming and Wang in SIAM J Math Anal 52(5):4861–4899; Commun Pure Appl Math 74(2), 225–285, 2021), the local well-posedness for this problem has been proved with the contact angles less than π / 16 . In this paper, we study the case where the contact angles belong to (0 , π / 2) . It involves much worse singularities generated from corresponding elliptic systems, which have this strong influence on the regularities for the free surface and the velocity field. Combining the theory of singularity decompositions for elliptic problems with the structure of the water waves system, we obtain a priori energy estimates. The mental health challenges among Chinese college students have become a pressing social concern. This study examined the relationship between parental support for exercise and depression among freshmen and also explored the mediating role of physical exercise and physical self-esteem. Utilizing the Parental Exercise Support Scale, Depression Self-Rating Scale, Physical Activity Rating Scale, and Physical Self-Esteem Scale, a questionnaire survey was conducted. Convenient samples from two universities were recruited by university teachers, which included 766 university freshmen. Correlation and linear regression analyses were employed to assess the overall associations while bootstrapping method was used to test mediation effects. Results indicated significant correlations between parental support for exercise and physical exercise, physical self-esteem, and depression. Physical exercise and physical self-esteem were found to mediate the relationship between parental support for exercise and depression, both individually and sequentially. These findings highlight the potential association between parental support for exercise and the mental health of college freshmen and also offer a mechanism to understand this association. Background: The purpose of this study was to predict the risk factors for residual lesions in patients with high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia who underwent total hysterectomy. Methods: This retrospective study included 212 patients with histologically confirmed high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN2-3) who underwent hysterectomy within 6 months after loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP). Clinical data (e.g., age, menopausal status, HPV type, and Liquid-based cytology test(LCT) type), as well as pathological data affiliated with endocervical curettage (ECC), colposcopy, LEEP and hysterectomy, were retrieved from medical records. A logistic regression model was applied to estimate the relationship between the variables and risk of residual lesions after hysterectomy. Results: Overall, 75 (35.4%) patients had residual lesions after hysterectomy. Univariate analyses revealed that positive margin (p = 0.003), glandular involvement (p = 0.017), positive ECC (p < 0.01), HPV16/18 infection (p = 0.032) and vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia (VaIN) I-III (p = 0.014) were factors related to the presence of residual lesions after hysterectomy. Conversely, postmenopausal status, age ≥ 50 years, ≤ 30 days from LEEP to hysterectomy, and LCT type were not risk factors for residual lesions. A positive margin (p = 0.025) and positive ECC (HSIL) (p < 0.001) were identified as independent risk factors for residual lesions in multivariate analysis. Conclusions: Our study revealed that positive incisal margins and ECC (≥ CIN2) were risk factors for residual lesions, while glandular involvement and VaIN were protective factors. In later clinical work, colposcopic pathology revealed that glandular involvement was associated with a reduced risk of residual uterine lesions. 60% of the patients with residual uterine lesions were menopausal patients, and all patients with carcinoma in situ in this study were menopausal patients. Alternating current polarization (ACP) has been demonstrated to enhance the performance of 1-3 piezoelectric single crystal composites (PSCCs), compared to direct current polarization (DCP). However, the scaling effect and temperature stability of PSCCs under different polarization modes, which are of significance to practical applications, have rarely been studied. Here, we compared and analyzed the thickness and temperature-dependent properties of PSCCs under ACP and DCP. The results indicated that ACP PSCCs have improved piezoelectric, electromechanical coupling, and dielectric properties. There were scaling effects for PSCCs with thickness below 400 μm. Compared to high-thickness PSCCs, the piezoelectric coefficient (d33), free dielectric constant ( ε 33 T ε 0 ) as well as thickness electromechanical coupling factor (kt) of low-thickness samples were inferior and the corresponding performance enhancements under ACP were also relatively low. In contrast, the clamped dielectric constant ( ε 33 S ε 0 ) did not show significant thickness correlation. As for temperature stability, all performances of PSCCs improved with increase in temperature and the performance enhancement with temperature change was not dependent on the polarization conditions. A series of novel near-infrared (NIR) xanthene-chalcone fluorophores were constructed through a modular synthesis with the electron-donating xanthene moiety and the electron-withdrawing chalcone moiety. These fluorophores are convenient for fluorescence imaging in living cells, benefiting from their NIR emissions (650–710 nm), large Stokes shifts (>100 nm), moderate quantum yields and low cytotoxicity. The substituted hydroxyl group of the xanthene-chalcone fluorophore HCA-E facilitates the development of multifunctional fluorescent probes. As an example, a highly sensitive and selective probe N-HCA-E for glutathione (GSH) detection was developed based on the fluorophore HCA-E. A 4-nitrobenzenesulfonyl (4-Ns) group was introduced to cage the hydroxyl group of HCA-E, which was used as a selective recognition site for the thiol of GSH and an effective fluorescence quencher. Probe N-HCA-E revealed NIR "turn-on" fluorescence (709 nm) for endogenous and exogenous GSH detection in lysosomes with a large Stokes shift (129 nm) and high anti-interference ability. Polarization detection plays an essential role in a wide range of fields, including target identification, 3D reconstruction, and robotic vision. Self‐driven on‐chip full‐Stokes photodetectors are urgently required to meet the trend of miniaturization and integration. Nevertheless, how to fulfill efficient circular and linear polarimetry simultaneously with sufficient recognition effectiveness in a compact device is a great challenge. Herein, a patterned chiral perovskite film is fabricated by imprinting strategy, and vertically‐structured self‐driven Stokes photodetector is demonstrated, which can recognize various polarization states at 0 V. Through patterned design of the chiral perovskite film by integrating circle and nanowire structure, flexible tuning of circular and linear polarization components within the detector is achieved, enabling the detector to strike a balance between circular and linear polarization detection ability when recognizing arbitrary polarization light. The maximum circular polarization sensitivity factor and linear polarization ratio can reach 0.125 and 1.5, respectively. By optimizing well‐defined patterned shape, the resultant detector can recognize polarized light with an average recognition error <7%. This work opens an avenue toward the fabrication of self‐driven filterless Stokes detectors based on patterned chiral perovskite film for accurate detection of arbitrary polarization states. The self-piercing riveting is a major mechanical joining technique to join dissimilar lightweight materials, which has been widely used in the automotive industry. However, the die-casting aluminum sheet under the self-piercing riveted joint will generate cracks on the joint button due to the low ductility of the die-casting aluminum. A new technique of local-thickened self-piercing riveting (LT-SPR) is proposed to solve the problem of cracking on joint buttons in this paper. The effect of process parameters on cracking on joint button are discussed systematically and experimentally. The joint quality, mechanical properties, and failure mode of the LT-SPR joints are studied compared to the conventional SPR (C-SPR) joints. It is concluded that crack-free joints can be obtained in a wide range of rivet-die combinations using LT-SPR. Compared with the C-SPR joints, LT-SPR joints have larger forming quality indexes, smaller riveting force, smaller bending deformation, and better mechanical properties. For the LT-SPR process, the mechanical properties and failure mode are highly dependent on the rivet length, and larger rivet length can cause rivet fracture failure in the LT-SPR. The energy absorption of the joints that failed in interlock failure is superior to that of joints with rivet fracture failure, and joint strength is not affected by rivet fracture failure. The utilization of supramolecular deep eutectic solvent eddy-assisted liquid–liquid microextraction utilizing 2-hydroxypropyl β-cyclodextrin (SUPRADES) has been identified as a successful method for pre-enriching Cu, Zn, and Mn in vegetable oil samples. Determination of each element was conducted by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) after digestion of metal-enriched phases. Various parameters were examined, including the composition of SUPRADES species [2HP-β-CD: DL-lactic acid], a cyclodextrin mass ratio of 20 wt%, a water bath temperature of 75 °C, an extractor volume of 800 μL, a dispersant volume of 50 μL, and an eddy current time of 5 min. Optimal conditions resulted in extraction rates of 99.6% for Cu, 105.2% for Zn, and 101.5% for Mn. The method exhibits a broad linear range spanning from 10 to 20,000 μg L−1, with determination coefficients exceeding 0.99 for all analytes. Enrichment coefficients of 24, 21, and 35 were observed. Limits of detection ranged from 0.89 to 1.30 μg L−1, while limits of quantification ranged from 3.23 to 4.29 μg L−1. When there are dynamic obstacles in the environment, it is difficult for traditional path-generation algorithms to achieve desired obstacle-avoidance results. To solve this problem, we propose a robot navigation control method based on SAC (Soft Actor-Critic) Deep Reinforcement Learning. Firstly, we use a fast path-generation algorithm to control the robot to generate expert trajectories when the robot encounters danger as well as when it approaches a target, and we combine SAC reinforcement learning with imitation learning based on expert trajectories to improve the safety of training. Then, for the hybrid data consisting of agent data and expert data, we use an improved prioritized experience replay method to improve the learning efficiency of the policies. Finally, we introduce RNN (Recurrent Neural Network) units into the network structure of the SAC Deep Reinforcement-Learning navigation policy to improve the agent's transfer inference ability in a new environment and obstacle-avoidance ability in dynamic environments. Through simulation and practical experiments, it is fully verified that our method has a higher training efficiency and navigation success rate compared to state-of-the-art reinforcement-learning algorithms, which further enhances the obstacle-avoidance capability of the robot system.
