- Abstract
To analyze the national scientific productions related to leadership in nursing education. An integrative review study, carried out in the databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online and Nursing Database. The sample consisted of seven articles. It was identified that during training it is necessary to improve leadership skills, however undergraduate courses have a greater focus on the development of technical and assistance skills, leaving a gap in the leadership learning process. Continuing education is necessary after training, because through learning, knowledge improves and makes nursing professionals more confident. The study was able to demonstrate that there is dissatisfaction regarding nursing education, because after graduation, the professional still feels insecure, afraid and unprepared to act as a nursing leader.
