In view of the temperature rise, noise and vibration between the rotor and the support bearings under the high-speed rotating state of the PMSMS, the bearingless technology is proposed for avoiding the contact between the rotor and the support bearings and achieving stable compensation of the motorized spindles under high-speed running state. Based on the modeling method of ordinary bearingless motors, mathematical models of the BPMSS and simulation experiments are carried out. At the same time, the variable structure PID is used in the displacement controller to optimize the displacement control of the rotor. The results prove the feasibility of bearingless technology on permanent magnet synchronous motorized spindles. The magnetic levitation system largely avoids the contact between the rotor and the support bearings, which can solve the noise and vibration problems of the rotor when running at high speeds. Fracture-vuggy oil reservoirs contain micrometer-sized dissolved secondary pores, fractures, and meter-sized karst caves. Generally, the researches on the flow mechanism of fractured-vuggy reservoirs are based on the assumption of karst cave-fracture-matrix triple medium that gives a partial differential equation which the pressure satisfies. This triple medium flow equation lays the basics for the well testing theory of fractured-vuggy reservoirs. However, the triple medium equation cannot reflect the actual existence of the karst cave volume in geology. Recently, we proposed a theory of fracture-cave seepage flow coupled with vug pressure wave which takes the vug size into consideration and thus can better describe the fracture-vuggy reservoirs. On the basis of this theory, this work combines the change of formation pressure with time, Duhamel's theorem, and well testing theory to obtain the mathematical expression of time-varied bottom hole pressure and flow rate in Laplace space. Then, the dynamic inflow performance relationship (IPR) curve of fractured-vuggy reservoir is obtained by inverse Laplace transformations. This dynamic IPR curve can predict the productivity for fractured-vuggy reservoirs using parameters from well test interpretations of pressure recovery. The correctness of this productivity prediction method is verified by filed fractured-vuggy oil well. This productivity prediction method not only utilizes and expands the application of well test interpretation data but also shortens the test time and reduces test costs, which is important for oil development. Calcium supplement is the most commonly adopted treatment for osteoporosis but usually requires high dose and frequency. The modality of calcium supplement is therefore overlooked by current nanomedicine-based osteoporosis therapies without proper oral formulations. Herein, we proposed a tetracycline (Tc) modified and monostearin (MS) coated amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) platform (TMA) as oral bone targeted and osteoporosis microenvironment (water/pH) responsive carrier for in situ calcium supplement. Moreover, current osteoporosis therapies also fall short of finding suitable molecular target and effective therapeutic regimen to further increase the therapeutic efficacy over available treatment means. As a result, the simvastatin (Sim) was loaded into TMA to construct drug delivery system (TMA/Sim) capable of synergistically activating the bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs)-Smad pathway to provide a novel therapeutic regimen for osteoblast promotion mediated osteoporosis therapy. Our results revealed that optimized TMA showed high accessibility and oral availability with targeted drug delivery to bone tissue. Most importantly, benefit from the effective in situ calcium supplement and targeted Sim delivery, this therapeutic regime (TMA/Sim) achieved better synergetic effects than conventional combination strategies with promising osteoporosis reversion performance under low calcium dosage (1/10 of commercial calcium carbonate tablet) and significantly attenuated side effects. Eimeria spp. and Blastocystis are the common parasites that parasitize the intestinal tract of rabbits, which can seriously threaten the health of rabbits and lead to economic losses to the rabbit industry. However, information about the prevalence and transmission of these two parasites in rabbits is limited in China. The objective of this study was to survey the prevalence of Eimeria spp. and Blastocystis in rabbits in Shandong Province. A total of 616 rabbit fecal samples were collected from two cities (Rizhao and Weihai) in Shandong Province, eastern China, and Eimeria spp. and Blastocystis were identified by polymerase chain reaction based on species-specific markers. The prevalence of Eimeria spp. was 20% (123/616) and the Blastocystis prevalence was 0.97% (6/616). Five different Eimeria species (Eimeria intestinalis, E. perforans, E. magna, E. media, and E. irresidua) and the ST4 subtype of Blastocystis were identified in rabbits by sequence analysis. This is the first report of Blastocystis prevalence and subtype ST4 in rabbits in Shandong Province. Giardia duodenalis is a zoonotic enteric parasite that can infect humans and a number of animal species including rabbits with a worldwide distribution. Infection with G. duodenalis can cause serious public health problems and significant economic losses to animal husbandry. So accurate understanding of the prevalence and genotype distribution of G. duodenalis in rabbits is necessary. In the present study, a total of 616 fecal samples were collected from rabbits in Shandong province, eastern China, and examined in G. duodenalis prevalence and genotypes by nested PCR amplification of β-giardin (bg), glutamate dehydrogenase (gdh), and triosephosphate isomerase (tpi) gene loci of G. duodenalis. Sixty-nine (11.2%) of the examined rabbit fecal samples were G. duodenalis-positive. Of them, the prevalence of G. duodenalis is 8.4% (41/490) in Rizhao city and 22.2% (28/126) in Weihai city. Breeds, region, and feeding modes were highly correlated with G. duodenalis infection in rabbits. Moreover, three genotypes (assemblages A, B, and E) were identified in rabbits at three gene loci, and the assemblage E was the dominant genotype, while the assemblage A was reported in rabbits in China for the first time. It is noticeable that two rabbits were found to be infected with two different G. duodenalis assemblages (assemblages A and E, assemblages B and E, respectively). These findings enrich the genotype distribution of G. duodenalis in rabbits and provide baseline data for preventing and controlling G. duodenalis infection in rabbits in eastern China. • The bulk production of hydrothermal carbon microspheres (1.1–7.1 μm) was achieved. • This method is simple, rapid, high-yield and applicable for various carbohydrates. • The hierarchical porosity was formed by H 2 O 2 oxidation and air-assisted calcination. • Porous carbon spheres were covalently quaternized with hyperbranched polymers. • Modified porous carbon spheres show good separation for inorganic anions and sugars. Monodisperse micron-grade carbon spheres (MCSs) (1.1–7.1 μm) were prepared via the hydrothermal carbonization of maltose with the addition of polyacrylic and inorganic acid. The synthesis could be accomplished in 3 h and still take effect at a large maltose concentration (∼800 g/L) or in tenfold enlarged experiments. This strategy was also applicable to form MCSs with good monodispersity for various carbohydrates including glucose, sucrose, soluble starch, xylan, glucan and barley starch. The simple H 2 O 2 oxidation and calcination under static air atmosphere could introduce good surface meso- and macroporosity (average pore size of 4.2 nm, 79% of total pore volume) onto MCSs. The covalent grafting of porous MCSs with hyperbranched quaternized polymers was implemented in aqueous solution, via amidation with polyvinylamine and following amine-epoxy addition reaction with 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether. As ion chromatographic stationary phases, the modified porous MCSs rapidly accomplished the baseline separation of typical inorganic anions and carbohydrates with high efficiency and satisfactory stability. The Y element modifies the morphology of ferromagnetic F-Co rich phase, introduces filed anisotropy and contributes in coercivity enhancement. XRD and EDS results showed that Y free 43Fe-28Cr-23Co-3Mo-2V-1Zr alloy is composed of Fe-Co-V (54.4%) and Cr-Mo-Zr (45.6%) phases while Y doped 41Fe-28Cr-23Co-3Mo-2V-1Zr-2Y alloy is consists of Fe-Co-V-Y (55.7%), Cr-Mo-Zr (29.3%) and Y 1 Co 5 (15%) magnetic phases. Micrographs obtained by scanning transmission electron microscope elucidate nanostructural exchange coupled Fe-Co-V-Y (15–20 nm), Cr-Mo-Zr and Y 1 Co 5 (10 nm) phases for 41Fe-28Cr-23Co-3Mo-2V-1Zr-2Y alloy. Pole figures and ODFs deduced sharp magnetic {1 1 0}〈0 0 1〉 textures or preferential orientation of Fe-Co rich rod like particles. Henkel plots deduced strong ferromagnetic exchange interactions between the magnetic phases. The 43Fe-28Cr-23Co-3Mo-2V-1Zr alloy yields B r of 0.71 T, H c of 97 kA/m and (BH) max of 51.3 kJ/m3 which were remarkably improved to B r of 1.05 T, H c of 130 kA/m and (BH) max of 61.6 kJ/m3 with 41Fe-28Cr-23Co-3Mo-2V-1Zr-2Y alloy. Abstract The 47.5-xFe-28Cr-20Co-3Mo-1.5Ti-xM; M = Nb; x = 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 (wt%) permanent magnets have been investigated after solution annealing, thermomagnetic annealing and step-aging process. Alloys were prepared by vacuum melting and casting technique. Magnets with improved properties were developed through a modified thermal treatment cycle. Solution annealed specimens depict equiaxed α phase grain size of 250 µm while optimally thermomagnetic treated and step aged magnets yield ultra-fine Fe-Co nanorods (10 nm) precipitates in Cr-Ti-Nb matrix. The Nb addition to 47.5Fe-28Cr-20Co-3Mo-1.5Ti alloy expands the α phase structure by suppressing the nonmagnetic phases at annealed state and promotes shape anisotropy for spinodal phases in final treated samples leading to the improvements of magnetic properties. Spinodal phases preferentially aligned and elongated close to applied field direction and retained strong Goss {1 1 0}〈0 0 1〉 orientations. The 45.5Fe-28Cr-20Co-3Mo-1.5Ti-2Nb magnet reveals H c of 86.9 kA/m, B r of 1.24 T and (BH) max of 57 kJ/m3. Phenylpropanoid natural products containing a cinnamaldehyde motif were easily synthesized from allylarenes mediated by 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone (DDQ) oxidation. An efficient CH 3 SO 3 H-promoted synthesis of quinolines from readily available anilines, acetophenones and DMSO under air is reported. This protocol gives diverse substituted 4-arylquinolines in moderate to high yields with broad substrate/functional group tolerance. Microstructural, magnetic and mechanical properties of Nd6.8Fe63.3Nb4.0Co1.3Cr1.1Zr0.9B22.6 nanocrystalline hard magnets produced by rapid solidification technique and subsequent thermo-magnetic annealing have been investigated in this study. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the as-cast Nd6.8Fe63.3Nb4.0Co1.3Cr1.1Zr0.9B22.6 magnet has 60% Nd2Fe14B, 16% α-Fe, 9% Fe3B and 15% amorphous phases, whereby, Nd2Fe14B being the majority phase. Thermomagnetic annealing induces a complete crystallization of Nd2Fe14B, α-Fe, Fe3B and amorphous phases and establishes ideal volume fractions between phases leading to improvement in magnetic properties. Scanning and transmission electron microscopy show nano-scaled hard Nd2Fe14B grains surrounded with soft α-Fe and Fe3B grains. The Nd6.8Fe63.3Nb4.0Co1.3Cr1.1Zr0.9B22.6 magnet annealed at 993 K for 15 min shows values of coercivity iHc, remanence Br and maximum energy product (BH)max up to 861 kA/m, 0.68 T and 81.9 kJ/m3, respectively. Compressional stress strain measurements elucidated that mechanical properties of alloys are affected by the morphology of phases as well as crystal structure. As-cast Nd6.8Fe63.3Nb4.0Co1.3Cr1.1Zr0.9B22.6 magnet demonstrates the hardness (Hv) of 960 ± 20 and compressive stress (σf) of 1270 ± 10 MPa, which tend to decrease by thermo-magnetic annealing process. Nanocomposite hard magnets in the form of cones have been synthesized by rapid solidification process with Nd 7.5 Y 2.7 Fe 62 B 22.3 Nb 3.1 Cu 2.4 alloy. X-ray diffraction studies deduced that as-cast alloys have a mixture of α-Fe, Fe 3 B, Nd 2 Fe 14 B and amorphous phase which, upon annealing, transformed into α-Fe, Fe 3 B and Nd 2 Fe 14 B magnetic phases. Transmission electron microscopy and three dimensional atom probe analysis elucidated a nanocrystalline microstructure consists of magnetically soft α-Fe, Fe 3 B and hard Nd 2 Fe 14 B nanograins. The good hard magnetic properties such as remanence ( B r ) of 0.45 T, coercivity ( i H c ) of 1315 kA/m and maximum energy product ( BH ) max of 56.7 kJ/m 3 were obtained after annealing the Nd 7.5 Y 2.7 Fe 62 B 22.3 Nb 3.1 Cu 2.4 alloy at 1013 K for 15 min. Henkel plot yielded the existence of strong inter-grain exchange interactions between magnetically soft and hard grains. High coercivity of 1315 kA/m for the optimally annealed Nd 7.5 Y 2.7 Fe 62 B 22.3 Nb 3.1 Cu 2.4 alloy is ascribed to the large volume fraction of hard magnetic phase, high magnetocrystalline anisotropy and interface effects. The phase composition, magnetic and microstructural properties of Nd 2 Fe 14 B/(α-Fe, Fe 3 B) nanocomposite magnets produced by injection casting technique have been studied. Magnetic hysteresis loop of the Nd 7 Y 6 Fe 61 B 22 Mo 4 permanent magnet demonstrates the coercivity as high as 1289 kA/m. Electron microscopy elucidates a microstructure composed of magnetically soft α-Fe, Fe 3 B and hard Nd 2 Fe 14 B/Y 2 Fe 14 B nanograins (20–50 nm) separated by ultra-thin grain boundary layer. The Henkel plot curve of the Nd 7 Y 6 Fe 61 B 22 Mo 4 magnet yields the existence of exchange coupling interactions between soft and hard phases. Macroscopically large size sheet magnet is obtained due to high glass forming ability of the Nd 7 Y 6 Fe 61 B 22 Mo 4 alloy derived from large atomic radius mismatch and negative enthalpy of alloy constituent elements. The high coercivity of the magnet is attributed to the magnetically hard phase increment, nucleation of reverse domains and the presence of thin grain boundary phase. Good magnetic properties such as remanence of 0.51 T, coercivity of 1289 kA/m and maximum energy product of 46.2 kJ/m 3 are obtained in directly casted Nd 7 Y 6 Fe 61 B 22 Mo 4 sheet magnets. Present research work narrates synthesis, structural, thermal and magnetic characteristics of Pr 4 Fe 67 Nb 4 Cu 2 Zr 1 B 22 nanocomposite magnets. Amorphous Pr 4 Fe 67 Nb 4 Cu 2 Zr 1 B 22 rods were produced through injection casting technique and permanent magnetic characteristics were obtained by one-step annealing the amorphous rods. XRD analysis elucidated that as-cast rods have amorphous phase structure and annealed magnets have tetragonal Pr 2 Fe 14 B hard phase, cubic structural α-Fe phase and tetragonal Fe 3 B soft phase. Optimal annealed magnet composed of 63% Pr 2 Fe 14 B hard phase, 26% α-Fe and 11% Fe 3 B soft phases with mean grain sizes around 51.6 ± 1 nm for Pr 2 Fe 14 B, 25.4 ± 2 nm for α-Fe and 21.5 ± 2 nm for Fe 3 B phases. Microscopic and atomic probe studies showed that the annealed magnet consists of Pr 2 Fe 14 B, α-Fe, Fe 3 B nanosized grains interlinked with thin grain boundaries. Henkel curve evidenced the existence of inter-grain exchange coupling between magnetic nanophase grains. Magnetic hysteresis measurements revealed that Pr 4 Fe 67 Nb 4 Cu 2 Zr 1 B 22 nanocomposite magnet yielded maximum magnetic characteristics such as coercivity H c of 382 kA/m, remanence B r of 0.70 T and maximum energy product (BH) max of 64.2 kJ/m3 with rare earth to iron ratio 4:67. Electroacupuncture (EA) is reported to effectively relieve the central poststroke pain (CPSP). However, the underlying mechanism remains unclear. The present study investigated the detailed mechanisms of action of EA treatment at different frequencies for CPSP. A CPSP model was established with a single collagenase injection to the left ventral posterolateral nucleus of the thalamus. The EA-treated groups then received EA treatment at frequency of 2, 2/15, or 15 Hz for 30 min daily for five days. The pain-related behavioral responses, neuronal apoptosis, glial activation, and the expression of pain signal transmission-related factors (β-catenin, COX-2, and NK-1R) were assessed using behavioral tests, Nissl staining, TUNEL staining, and immunohistochemical staining, respectively. The low-frequency EA treatment significantly (1) reduced brain tissue damage and hematoma sizes and (2) inhibited neuronal apoptosis, thereby exerting abirritative effects. Meanwhile, the high-frequency EA treatment induced a greater inhibition of the aberrant astrocyte activation, accompanied by the downregulation of the expressions of COX-2, β-catenin, and subsequently NK-1R, thereby alleviating inflammation and producing strong analgesic effects. Together, these findings suggest that CPSP is closely related to pathological changes of the neocortex and hippocampus. Background: Chronic pain, or sometimes referred to as persistent pain, reduces the life quality of patients who are suffering from chronic diseases such as inflammatory diseases, cancer and diabetes. Hence, herbal medicines draw many attentions and have been shown effective in the treatment or relief of pain. Methods and Results: Here in this study, we used the CFA-injected rats as a sustainable pain model to test the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect of nutmeg oil, a spice flavor additive to beverages and baked goods produced from the seed of Myristica fragrans tree. Conclusions: We have demonstrated that nutmeg oil could potentially alleviate the CFA-injection induced joint swelling, mechanical allodynia and heat hyperanalgesia of rats through inhibition of COX-2 expression and blood substance P level, which made it possible for nutmeg oil to be a potential chronic pain reliever. The regioselective one-pot synthesis of ortho -acylphenols via the palladium-catalyzed addition of phenols to nitriles and subsequent hydrolysis is reported. We present an integrated approach to rapidly identify anti-inflammatory compounds of TongmaiYangxin Pills (TMYXP), a botanical drug for the treatment of cardiovascular disease. Liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry was used to analyze the chemical composition of TMYXP. Eighty compounds of TMYXP including flavonoids, coumarins, iridoid glycosides, saponins, and lignans, were identified unambiguously or tentatively. After the rapid isolation and bioassay, 18 fractions of TMYXP were obtained and their anti-inflammatory activities were evaluated in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages. We performed chemometric analysis to reveal the correlation between the chemical and pharmacological information of the fractions to facilitate the identification of active compounds. To verify the reliability of the proposed method in discovering active components from a complex mixture, activities of seven compounds, which were positively or negatively related to bioactivity according to calculation, were validated in vitro. Results indicated that six active compounds with high R values exerted certain anti-inflammatory effects in a dose-dependent manner with IC50 values of 53.6-204.1 μM. Our findings suggest that the integrated use of identification based on high-resolution mass spectrometry and chemometric methods could rapidly identify active compounds from complex mixture of natural products. Abstract: Nd7Fe67B22Mo3Zr1 magnets in rods have been prepared by annealing the amorphous precursors produced through injection casting. Phase formation, microstructure and magnetic properties of Nd7Fe67B22Mo3Zr1 magnets have been investigated and discussed in the as-cast and annealed states. Cast Nd7Fe67B22Mo3Zr1 rods have the soft magnetic characteristics, which changed into magnetically hard by annealing. Magnetic properties in Nd7Fe67B22Mo3Zr1 magnets are influenced by the intrinsic properties of magnetically soft α-Fe (Fe3B) and hard Nd2Fe14B phases. The Zr and Mo elements in the Nd7Fe67B22Mo3Zr1 alloy promote the formation of amorphous phase and reduce the grain size of magnetic phases. Optimal annealed Nd7Fe67B22Mo3Zr1 rods of 2mm in diameter and 52mm in length presented maximum magnetic properties such as: remanence (B r) of 0.53T, coercivity (i H c) of 1110kA/m and maximum energy product (BH)max of 49.5kJ/m3. A direct synthesis of 2-acylthiophenes has been developed through palladium-catalyzed addition of thiophenes to nitriles. The reaction proceeded well under the palladium(II) acetate/2,2′-bipyridine system and using D-(+)-camphorsulfonic acid as the additive. An efficient palladium-catalyzed synthesis of 3-acylindoles using free (N–H) indoles and nitriles has been developed. The acylation reaction proceeded well under the Pd(OAc)2/2,2′-bipyridine system and with d-(+)-camphorsulfonic acid as the additive. Abstract: The Fe65B22Nd9Mo4 nanocomposite permanent magnets in the form of a rectangular cross sectioned rod have been prepared by annealing the amorphous precursors. The thermal behavior, structure and magnetic properties of the magnets have been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffractometry, electron microscopy and magnetometry techniques. The as-cast Fe65B22Nd9Mo4 alloy showed soft magnetic properties, which changed into magnetically hard after annealing. Results provoke that the magnetic properties of the alloy are sensitive to thermal processing conditions. The optimum hard magnetic properties with a remanence (B r) of 0.56T, coercivity (i H c) of 920.7kA/m and maximum energy product (BH)max of 50.15kJ/m3 were achieved after annealing the alloy at 983K for 10min. Abstract: The glass forming ability and magnetic properties of Nd5Fe68−xB23Mo4Yx (x=0, 2, 4, 6) alloys prepared by copper mold casting technique have been studied. Amorphous rods with a diameter of 2mm were obtained in the Nd5Fe64B23Mo4Y4 alloy. After annealing for 10min at 1013K, the Nd5Fe64B23Mo4Y4 alloy showed optimal hard magnetic properties with the coercivity of 764.2kA/m, remanence of 0.6T and maximum energy product of 57.3kJ/m3, respectively. The enhanced magnetic properties can be ascribed to the strong exchange coupling among the magnetically soft α-Fe (25–30nm), Fe3B (30–35nm) and hard Nd2Fe14B (40–50nm) grains present in the magnet microstructure. Large size bulk nanocomposite magnets with sound magnetic properties make the Nd–Fe–B–Mo–Y alloy system a promising candidate for industrial applications. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: The Nd7Y2.5Fe64.5Nb3B23 nanocomposite permanent magnets in the form of rods with 2mm in diameter have been developed by annealing the amorphous precursors produced by copper mold casting technique. The phase evolution, structure, magnetic and mechanical properties were investigated with X-ray diffractometry, differential scanning calorimetry, electron microscopy, magnetometry and universal uniaxial compression strength techniques. The heat treatment conditions under which the magnets attained maximum magnetic and mechanical properties have been established. The results indicate that magnet properties are sensitive to grain size and volume content of the magnetic phases present in the microstructure. The composite microstructure was mainly composed of soft α-Fe (20–30nm) and hard Nd2Fe14B (45–65nm) magnetic phase grains. The maximum coercivity of 959.18kA/m was achieved with the magnets annealed at 760°C whereas the highest remanence of 0.57T was obtained with the magnets treated at 710°C. The optimally annealed magnets possessed promising magnetic properties such as j H c of 891.52kA/m, B r of 0.57T, M r/M s =0.68, (BH)max of 56.8kJ/m3 as well as the micro-Vickers hardness (H v) of 1138±20 and compressive stress (σ f) of 239±10MPa. Abstract: A series of [(Fe1−x Co x )72Mo4B24]94Dy6 (x =0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5at.%) bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) in rod geometries with critical diameter up to 3mm were fabricated by copper mold casting method. This alloy system exhibited good thermal stability with high glass transition temperature (T g) 860K and crystallization temperature (T x) 945K. The addition of Co was found to be effective in adjusting the alloy composition deeper to eutectic, leading to lower liquidus temperature (T l). The [(Fe0.8Co0.2)72Mo4B24]94Dy6 alloy showed the largest supercooled liquid region (ΔT x = T x − T g =92K), reduced glass transition temperature (T rg = T g/T l =0.622) and gamma parameter (γ = T x/(T g + T l)=0.424) among the present system. Maximum compressive fracture strength of 3540MPa and micro-Vickers hardness of 1185kg/mm2 was achieved, resulting from the strong bonding structure among the alloy constituents. The alloy system possessed soft magnetic properties with high saturation magnetization of 56.61–61.78Am2/kg and coercivity in the range of 222–264.2A/m, which might be suitable for application in power electronics devices. Abstract: (Fe72Mo4B24)100−x Dy x (x =4–7) bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) cylindrical rods with diameters up to 3mm and a length of 30mm were prepared by copper mold casting. The influence of Dy content on the glass forming ability (GFA) of Fe–Mo–B–Dy alloy system was investigated. With the increase of Dy content, the supercooled liquid region ΔT x (=T x − T g) increased from 75K for x =4 to 91K for x =6. The (Fe72Mo4B24)94Dy6 alloy possessed the largest ΔT x (91K), indicating the best GFA among the investigated alloys. The BMGs exhibited high compressive fracture strength up to 3071MPa and micro-Vickers hardness up to 1130kg/mm2. The appreciable magnetic properties of the alloy system were obtained as well. Palladium-catalyzed intramolecular hydroarylation of N-arylpropiolamides has been developed for the stereoselective synthesis of 3-(monosubstituted methylene)oxindoles. In the presence of Pd(OAc)2 and dppf, a variety of N-arylpropiolamides successfully underwent the intramolecular hydroarylation reaction to afford the corresponding 3-(monosubstituted-methylene)oxindoles in moderate to excellent yields. Structural, magnetic and thermal properties of materials were systematically evaluated and discussed. Experimental results deduced that micro addition of nickel and hafnium elements tend to modify the morphology of magnetic phases in 60Fe-27Cr-10Co-2Mo-1Ti alloy leading to increase both magnetic and structural properties. Nickel improved intrinsic coercivity (H cj) and magnetic induction (B r) for 60Fe-27Cr-10Co-2Mo-1Ti alloy. Hafnium addition to 58.8Fe-27Cr-10Co-2Mo-1Ti-1.2Ni alloy refines the microstructure and substantially improves coercivity (76.5kA/m) without insignificant change in magnetic induction. Optimal magnetic microstructure comprised nanostructured and 〈0 0 1〉 textured Fe-Co-Hf phase embedded in Cr-Mo-Ni-Ti as a matrix phase. Henkel plot evidenced existence of strong interphase magnetization interactions between Fe-Co-Hf and Cr-Mo-Ni-Ti phases. In this Letter, the authors propose a method for personnel recognition using deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) based on human micro-Doppler (m-D) signal separation. In which, the m-D separation algorithm is firstly performed to separate m-D signal induced by limbs movement and Doppler signal caused by torso motion, which can highlight the difference contained limbs' m-D signatures between the same activity of different people. Afterwards, a five-layer DCNN is used to learn the necessary features directly from the separated m-D spectrogram of walking human and then implement human identification task. The method is validated on real data measured with a 5.8 GHz radar system. Experimental results show that an average recognition accuracy of about 90% can be achieved for different human group sizes. To develop a transgenic fish system to monitor environmental pollution, we generated a mvtg1:gfp transgenic medaka line, in which the gfp reporter gene was under the control of medaka vitellogenin1 (mvtg1) gene promoter. In this transgenic line, GFP was exclusively expressed in the liver of the mature adult female. Male and juvenile transgenic fish did not express GFP but could be induced to express GFP in the liver after exposure to 17-β-estradiol (E2). Concurrent accumulation of mvtg1 and gfp mRNAs was observed during both development and estrogen treatment, indicating that the gfp transgene was faithfully expressed under the mvtg1 promoter. Dose- and time-dependent induction of GFP expression by E2 was investigated in male transgenic fish. The lowest-observed-effect concentration (LOEC) of E2 to induce GFP expression was 0.5 μg/L by observation of live fish and 0.05-0.1 μg/L by observation of dissection-exposed liver in a 30 day exposure experiment GFP expression was observed within 36 h after treatment in high concentrations of E2 (5 μg/L), and it took longer to detect GFP expression under lower concentrations of E2. By removal and readdition of E2, we demonstrated that GFP expression was repeatedly induced. Finally, we also demonstrated that GFP expression could be induced by other estrogenic compounds, including 17-α-ethynylestradiol (EE2, 0.05 μg/L), diethylstibestrol (DES, 5 μg/L), estriol (10 μg/L), and bisphenol A (BPA, 1 mg/L), but not by weak estrogenic chemicals such as nonylphenol (NP, up to 1 mg/L) and methoxychlor (MXC, up to 20 μg/L). Changes in structure and magnetic properties were investigated at as-cast and annealed stages. Results revealed that magnetic field annealing stimulates the kinetics of crystallization and modifies the structure and magnetic properties of the Nd 3 Pr 3 Fe 67 Co 3 Nb 3 Ti 1 B 20 nanomagnets. Thermal analysis showed a glass transition temperature at 845 K and a crystallization temperature at 890 K for the alloy. X-ray diffraction studies demonstrated that as-cast alloy has amorphous structure while annealed magnet has multi-phase crystalline structure. Phase analysis elucidated that optimal annealed structure is compose of 34% Nd 2 Fe 14 B, 32% Pr 2 Fe 14 B, 21% α-Fe and 13% Fe 3 B phases. The HRTEM studies provoked that magnet microstructure consists of 55 nm Nd 2 Fe 14 B, 50 nm Pr 2 Fe 14 B, 24 nm α-Fe and 20 nm Fe 3 B magnetic grains which were interacted through ultra-thin grain boundaries. Henkel plot showed that grains of hard magnetic Nd 2 Fe 14 B (Pr 2 Fe 14 B) phase are coupled to grains of soft magnetic α-Fe (Fe 3 B) phase. Magnetic properties of nanocomposite magnets depend critically on the mass fraction of alloy constituent elements, casting conditions and heat treatment parameters. A small deviation of ±30 K from the ideal annealing temperature may affect the morphology of phases in the microstructure, which, in turn, influences the resultant magnetic properties of the final magnetic product. Optimal annealed Nd 3 Pr 3 Fe 65 Co 3 Nb 3 Ti 1 B 20 rod magnet enunciated coercivity of 630 kA/m, remanence of 0.83 T and magnetic energy product of 84.3 kJ/m3. This study reports on the synthesis and electromagnetic wave-absorbing properties of Ag/Fe 3 O 4 /SiO 2 under various magnetic field intensities. The nanocomposites were prepared via a solvothermal method followed by a Stober proces, during which uniform magnetic fields were applied to induce the formation of one-dimensional nanochain structures. Results indicate that the Ag/Fe 3 O 4 /SiO 2 exhibit enhanced wave-absorbing capabilities under strong magnetic fields. Specifically, at a magnetic field of 600 mT, the composite achieves a minimum reflection loss value of −48.61 dB, accompanied by a broad effective absorption bandwidth. Furthermore, the microwave absorption performance of samples oriented horizontally along the circumference surface during preparation shows a significant improvement compared to non-oriented samples. It is attributed to the optimized electromagnetic wave transmission pathways and improved electrical conductivity and magnetic loss capabilities facilitated by the nanochain structures. Specifically, the nanochains effectively lengthen the wave propagation distance, promote charge migration, and intensify natural and exchange resonance effects. Present work elaborates the development of 45-xFe-28Cr–20Co–3Mo–2V–2Ti-xSm; x = 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 wt% hard magnets using traditionally induction melting and casting, isothermal magnetic annealing and multiple aging treatments. The crystal structure, magnetic phases, crystallographic texture, microstructure and magnetic characteristics of processed magnets have been systematically investigated and their results are discussed. Studies showed that magnetic characteristics of the processed magnets rely on the alloy chemistry, nature of phases, metallurgical structure and heat treatment procedure. Magnetic hardening in 45Fe–28Cr–20Co–3Mo–2V–2Ti magnet resulted from the shape magnetic anisotropy of {110}<001> textural Fe–Co–V (55.8%) and Cr–Mo–Ti (44.2%) nanoscale structures which leads to maximum (BH) max of 33.4 kJ/m3, B r of 0.71 T and H c of 114 kA/m. Purpose To study the effect of miR-150-5p on the osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs), and further explore the relationship between its regulatory mechanism and irisin. Methods We isolated mouse BMSCs, and induced osteogenic differentiation by osteogenic induction medium. Using qPCR to detect the expression of osteogenic differentiation-related genes, western blot to detect the expression of osteogenic differentiation-related proteins, and luciferase reporter system to verify that FNDC5 is the target of miR-150-5p. Irisin intraperitoneal injection to treat osteoporosis in mice constructed by subcutaneous injection of dexamethasone. Results Up-regulation of miR-150-5p inhibited the proliferation of BMSCs, and decreased the content of osteocalcin, ALP activity, calcium deposition, the expression of osteogenic differentiation genes (Runx2, OSX, OCN, OPN, ALP and BMP2) and protein (BMP2, OCN, and Runx2). And down-regulation of miR-150-5p plays the opposite role of up-regulation of miR-150-5p on osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs. Results of luciferase reporter gene assay showed that FNDC5 gene was the target gene of miR-150-5p, and miR-150-5p inhibited the expression of FNDC5 in mouse BMSCs. The expression of osteogenic differentiation genes and protein, the content of osteocalcin, ALP activity and calcium deposition in BMSCs co-overexpressed by miR-150-5p and FNDC5 was significantly higher than that of miR150-5p overexpressed alone. In addition, the overexpression of FNDC5 reversed the blocked of p38/MAPK pathway by the overexpression of miR-150-5p in BMSCs. Irisin, a protein encoded by FNDC5 gene, improved symptoms in osteoporosis mice through intraperitoneal injection, while the inhibitor of p38/MAPK pathway weakened this function of irisin. Conclusion miR-150-5p inhibits the osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs by targeting irisin to regulate the/p38/ MAPK signaling pathway, and miR-150-5p/irisin/p38 pathway is a potential target for treating osteoporosis. In karst fracture-cavity reservoirs, the oil/gas is primarily distributed in natural fractures and caves. Therefore, hydraulic fracturing is frequently performed to connect the wells and natural karst caves to enhance the oil/gas production. In this work, the mechanisms of connecting the caves through hydraulic fracturing are examined through experimentation, numerical modeling, and field observations. The experimental and numerical results show that three main connection modes exist for natural caves, specifically connections through straight main fractures, crooked main fractures, and pre-existing fractures, corresponding to connection modes I, II, and III, respectively. In the experiments, 6%, 17%, and 77% caves were noted to be connected through connecting modes I, II, and III, respectively. Connection mode III was the most effective, exhibiting a maximum angle value of 225°. When the geostress difference is large, few natural fractures are active, and the connection mode I/II frequently occurs. When the geostress difference ≤ 4 MPa, injection rate ≤ 10 ml/min, fracturing fluid viscosity ≤ 10 mPa s, a great number of natural fractures are active, and the connection mode III frequently occurs. Therefore, pre-existing fractures must be exploited to enhance the production of oil/gas in karst fracture-cavity reservoirs. Field observations indicated that by gradually injecting an acid fluid, the activated number of pre-existing fractures can be increased, thereby enhancing the efficiency of hydraulic fracturing and increasing the average daily oil/gas production. In this work, La 2 NiMnO 6 , which exhibits a remarkably unique combination of ferromagnetic properties and high resistivity, was employed as an insulation coating to improve the magnetic properties of iron-based soft magnetic composites (SMCs). La 2 Ni x Mn 2-x O 6 (x = 0.4–1.6) were synthesized via the sol-gel method at different temperatures (500–700 °C). The optimal crystallinity and magnetic properties were observed at 700 °C with x = 1, thus La 2 NiMnO 6 synthesized under these specific conditions was utilized as an insulation coating medium. With the increase of La 2 NiMnO 6 , the saturation magnetization of La 2 NiMnO 6 /Fe SMC gradually decreases; however, this decrease is minimal due to the inherent ferromagnetic properties of La 2 NiMnO 6. As La 2 NiMnO 6 increases, the effective permeability of La 2 NiMnO 6 /Fe SMC initially increases and then decreases, while the core loss initially decreases and then increases. The highest effective permeability and lowest core loss are achieved at a coating amount of 1.2 wt%. In this paper, we address the problem of spectrum estimation of multiple frequency-hopping (FH) signals in the presence of random missing observations. The signals are analyzed within the bilinear time-frequency (TF) representation framework, where a TF kernel is designed by exploiting the inherent FH signal structures. The designed kernel permits effective suppression of cross-terms and artifacts due to missing observations while preserving the FH signal autoterms. The kerneled results are represented in the instantaneous autocorrelation function domain, which are then processed using a redesigned structure-aware Bayesian compressive sensing algorithm to accurately estimate the FH signal TF spectrum. The proposed method achieves highresolution FH signal spectrum estimation evenwhen a large portion of data observations is missing. Background: To investigate the correlation between the fibrinogen combined with neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (F‐NLR) and the clinicopathologic features of non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients who underwent radical resection. Methods: This study reviewed the medical records of 289 patients with NSCLC who underwent radical resection. The patients were stratified into three groups based on F‐NLR as follows: patients with low NLR and fibrinogen were group A, patients with high NLR or fibrinogen were group B, and patients with high NLR and fibrinogen were group C. Receiver operating characteristic curve and Youden index were used to determine the cutoff value of the NLR and fibrinogen. Survival curves were described by Kaplan–Meier method and compared by log‐rank test. The univariate and multivariate analyses were performed with the Cox proportional hazard model to identify the prognostic factors. Results: A value of 3.19 was taken as the optimal cutoff value of NLR in this study. A value of 309 was used as the optimal cutoff value of fibrinogen. Cox multivariate analysis showed that tumor, nodes, metastasis (TNM) stage and F‐NLR were independent prognostic factors affecting the survival rate of patients. The first‐, third‐, and fifth‐year survival rates in group A were 99.2%, 96.6%, and 95.0%, respectively. The first‐, third‐, and fifth‐year survival rates in group B were 98.4%, 76.6%, and 63.2%, respectively. The first‐, third‐, and fifth‐year survival rates in group C were 91.3%, 41.1%, and 22.8%, respectively. F‐NLR was significantly correlated with overall survival in patients with NSCLC (p < 0.001). Conclusions: The F‐NLR level is markedly related to the prognosis of patients with NSCLC undergoing radical surgery. Material and methods: Twenty non-anesthesiology residents who received standardized training in an anesthesiology department were selected and divided into two groups: anatomy group or US group. After training of relevant anatomy, US recognition and puncture skill, residents selected 10 patients either under US or anatomical localization performing radial artery catheterization. The number and time of successful cases of catheterization were recorded, success rate of first attempt and catheterization, as well as the total success rate of catheterization were calculated. The learning curve and inter-subject performance variability of residents were also calculated. Complications and the residents' satisfaction for teaching and self-confidence before puncture were also recorded. Results: Compared to the anatomy group, total success rate and the success rate at first attempt were higher in US-guided group (88% vs. 57%, 94% vs. 81%). The average performance time in the US group was significantly less (2.9±0.8 min vs. 4.2±2.1 min) and the mean number of attempts was 1.6, while 2.6 for the anatomy group. With performing cases increasing, the average puncture time of residents in the US group decreased by 19s, while 14s in the anatomy group. More local hematoma occurred in the anatomy group. The satisfaction and confidence degree of residents were higher in US group ([98.5±6.5] vs [68.5±7.3], [90.2±8.6] vs [56.3±5.5]). Conclusion: US can signifi- cantly shorten the learning curve, reduce the inter-subject performance variability, improve the first attempt and total success rate of radial artery catheterization for non-anesthesiology residents. A novel Fe-Mn-Bi-P alloy film has been obtained by electrodeposition, and its structural and morphological features were characterized. Cathodic linear sweep voltammetry was used to study the electrodeposition behaviors of the alloy. The X-ray diffraction analysis demonstrates that the as-deposited and annealed Fe-Mn-Bi-P thin films consist of low-temperature-phase MnBi, Mn 2 Bi, and Fe 3 Mn 7 phases. The as-deposited alloys exhibit the characteristic features of a soft magnetic and paramagnetic material. The coercivity of the annealed film was higher due to inter-diffusion reactions, structural relaxation, and the reduction in size and defects. The coercivity of the annealed film arrived at 53.4 kA/m measured at 60 K because of magnetocrystalline anisotropy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
