The present study outlines an analysis of the importance of education as a social practice and its contribution to the process of historical building society. It is an analysis that integrates the production and pedagogical dimensions in non-formal education way. To the composition of this study was considered this in its various moments and education spaces, enhancing the formation of social movements as political, economic and cultural practices that characterize the subjects marked by a distinct identity. Thus, this research was based on analysis of Rural Education's importance in its various aspects, and how it was appropriated by the "Project for Strengthening Family Agriculture through Social Empowerment of Youth and Adult Farmers". The project was carried out from August 2010 to June 2011, in the State, through contextualized practices literacy for youth and adult peasants owned and represented by social movements. The object of study for analysis of the Project was the Remnant Community Quilombo of the Caetanos of Capuan in Caucaia, Ceará. Finally, the composition of this work portrays the knowledge of education in a perspective of a curriculum in action that considers the relationship of the peasants to the land, to work and to education and in the field.
