This study aimed to explore the prognostic and predictive value of autophagy-related lncRNAs in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). The expression data of autophagy-related genes and lncRNAs of the PTC patients were obtained from TCGA database. Autophagy-relateddifferentially expressed lncRNAs (DElncs) were identified and used to establish the lncRNAs signature predicting patients’ progression-free interval (PFI) in the training cohort. Its performance was assessed in the training cohort, validation cohort, and entire cohort. Effects of the signature on I-131 therapy were also explored. We identified 199 autophagy-related-DElncs and constructed a novel six-lncRNAs signature was constructed based on these lncRNAs. This signature had a good predictive performance and was superior to TNM stages and previous clinical risk scores. I-131 therapy was found to be associated with favorable prognosis in patients with high-risk scores but not those with low-risk scores. Gene set enrichment analysis suggested that a series of hallmark gene sets were enriched in the high-risk subgroup. Single-cell RNA sequencing analysis suggested that the lncRNAs were mainly expressed in thyroid cells but not stromal cells. This paper proposes a shore-based constant tension mooring system, which improves the cable tension distribution by adjusting the length of the cable to maintain the constant tension of the cable between the ship and the mooring pile in order to solve the problem of poor safety and reliability of the traditional mooring system in the mooring process. First, based on the three-dimensional potential flow theory, this paper uses the hydrodynamic software AQWA to numerically simulate the dynamic response of the traditional mooring system under the coupling of wind, wave, and current in different sea states. Subsequently, a shore-based constant tension mooring system using the principle of volume-varying hydraulic control was studied. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the working principle of the constant tension hydraulic control mooring system, a mathematical model of the main working circuit is established. The system was numerically simulated by relying on matlab/Simulink simulation software. Finally, by comparing with traditional mooring systems, the results show that the maximum cable tension of the shore-based constant tension mooring system is significantly reduced so that the tension is controlled within a fixed range, and the safety factor of the mooring cable is significantly improved, thus reducing the risk of mooring system failure and improving the ship's survivability. Herein we report two 2D layered metal–organic rotaxane frameworks (MORFs), WUST-1 and WUST-2, constituted by a ternary host–guest complex based on cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) and an (E)-1-methyl-4-[4-(pyridin-4-yl)styryl] pyridinium (G1) ligand, and different metal ions and auxiliary linkers. The objective of this study was to observe the effects of water extracts of Rehmannia glutinosa on the anti-oxidant system of Nrf-2 in diabetic mice induced by paraquat, and to provide the basis for its further development. Thirty male mice were randomly divided into the control group, model group and observation group. The mice in the model group and the observation group were treated with paraquat to induce insulin resistance, with the control group injected with the same volume saline. After the model establishment, the mice in observation group was given 1.2 g/kg·day with water extract of Rehmannia glutinosa, and the other groups were given equal volume of 1% hydroxymethyl cellulose sodium. After 7 days, the glucose tolerance was detected and the body weight was measured before and after the treatment. The body weight of the mice in the model group was significantly decreased (P<0.05), but the body weight of mice in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the model group (P<0.05). After 7 days of model establishment, the glucose tolerance of mice was damaged, with the blood sugar increased, but the level of blood sugar was significantly decreased when treated with water extracts of Rehmannia glutinosa. The water extract of Rehmannia glutinosa increased the level of phosphorylation of PKB significantly compared to the model group with the inhibition of PTEN. The level of malondialdehyde in mitochondria and muscle tissue was significantly increased after treated with water extracts of Rehmannia glutinosa (P<0.05). With decreased NQO-1 protein expression and the nuclear translocation of Nrf-2 in the model group, the water extract of Rehmannia glutinosa cloud reverse the injury effectively. Similarly, the water extract of Rehmannia glutinosa significantly increased the expression of IKBα, which was significantly decreased in the model group. In conclusion, water extracts of Rehmannia glutinosa effectively reversed the glucose metabolism disorder in insulin resistance mice induced by paraquat, and effectively activated the level of Nrf-2 to enhance the muscle insulin signal while alleviating the insulin resistance in mice. Considering the high sensitivity of the location accuracy of the threshold-based time difference of arrival (TDOA) location method to the threshold, a TDOA location method involving an acoustic emission (AE) source for offshore platform damage based on visible graph (VG) modelling was proposed. The corresponding network topology to AE time domain signals was constructed using visible graph modelling. Node degrees in the network were analysed and nodes with singular degrees were used as the time of arrival (TOA) of the corresponding waveform, thereby extracting the TOA of SO and AO mode waves. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed TDOA location method can effectively avoid the impact of the threshold on the TOA and can improve the location accuracy and stability of the TDOA method. Magnetic reconnection is a process by which oppositely directed magnetic field lines passing through a plasma undergo dramatic rearrangement, converting magnetic potential into kinetic energy and heat. It is believed to play an important role in many plasma phenomena including solar flares, star formation and other astrophysical events, laser-driven plasma jets, and fusion plasma instabilities. Because of the large differences of scale between laboratory and astrophysical plasmas, it is often difficult to extrapolate the reconnection phenomena studied in one environment to those observed in the other. In some cases, however, scaling laws do permit reliable connections to made, such as the experimental simulation of interactions between the solar wind and the Earth's magnetosphere. Here we report well-scaled laboratory experiments that reproduce loop-top-like X-ray source emission by reconnection outflows interacting with a solid target. Our experiments exploit the mega-gauss-scale magnetic field generated by interaction of a high-intensity laser with a plasma to reconstruct a magnetic reconnection topology similar to that which occurs in solar flares. We also identify the separatrix and diffusion regions associated with reconnection in which ions become decoupled from electrons on a scale of the ion inertial length. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
