- Abstract
I intend to propose here the second stage of a History curriculum, aimed at a first class of the high school, which is now devoted to the Persian Wars and the concept of the barbaros/xenos in the Greek world. It is developed in 4 hours: in the first two hours of frontal lecture the teacher will provide basic information about the events, which will be followed by two hours of in-depth study in the Cooperative learning mode. In this historical laboratory, the class divided into groups will read and analyze some ancient sources about Greeks, barbarians and xenoi. This could then be linked to a Civics activity with readings and discussion on the current interpretation of the concept of foreigner. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
