We demonstrate two-color nanoemittersthat enable the selection of the dominant emitting wavelength by varyingthe polarization of excitation light. The nanoemitters were fabricatedvia surface plasmon-triggered two-photon polymerization. By usingtwo polymerizable solutions with different quantum dots, emittersof different colors can be positioned selectively in different orientationsin the close vicinity of the metal nanoparticles. The dominant emissionwavelength of the metal/polymer anisotropic hybrid nanoemitter thuscan be selected by altering the incident polarization. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
