aimed to discover the ceRNAs network in the pathophysiological development of human colorectal cancer (CRC) and to screen biomarkers for target therapy and prognosis by using integrated bioinformatics analysis. Results: A total of 412 DEmRNAs including 82 upregulated and 330 downregulated genes were screened out between 473 CRC and 41 normal samples. Two hundred and sixty DEcircRNAs including 253 upregulated and 7 downregulated genes were altered between 23 CRC and 23 normal samples. One hundred and ninety DEmiRNAs including 82 upregulated and 108 downregulated genes were obtained between 450 CRC and 8 normal samples. A ceRNAs and PPI network were successfully constructed, and TIMP1 associated with prognosis was employed. Conclusion: The present study identified a novel circRNAs-miRNAs-mRNA ceRNAs network, which implied that TIMP1 and related miRNAs, circRNAs were potential biomarkers underlying the development of CRC, providing new insights for survival predictions and therapeutic targets. Currently, COVID‐19 has been reported in nearly all countries globally. To date, little is known about the viral shedding duration, clinical course and treatment efficacy of COVID‐19 near Hubei Province, China. This multicentre, retrospective study was performed in 12 hospitals in Henan and Shaanxi Provinces from 20 January to 8 February 2020. Clinical outcomes were followed up until 26 March 2020. The viral shedding duration, full clinical course and treatment efficacy were analysed in different subgroups of patients. A total of 149 COVID‐19 patients were enrolled. The median age was 42 years, and 61.1% (91) were males. Of them, 133 (89.3%) had fever, 131 of 144 (91%) had pneumonia, 27 (18.1%) required intensive care unit (ICU) management, 3 (2%) were pregnant, and 3 (2%) died. Two premature newborns were negative for SARS‐CoV‐2. In total, the median SARS‐CoV‐2 shedding period and clinical course were 12 (IQR: 9–17; mean: 13.4, 95% CI: 12.5, 14.2) and 20 (IQR: 16–24; mean: 21.2, 95% CI: 20.1, 22.3) days, respectively, and ICU patients had longer median viral shedding periods (21 [17–24] versus 11 [9–15]) and clinical courses (30 [22–33] vs. 19 [15.8–22]) than non‐ICU patients (both p <.0001). SARS‐CoV‐2 clearances occurred at least 2 days before fatality in 3 non‐survivors. Current treatment with any anti‐viral agent or combination did not present the benefit of shortening viral shedding period and clinical course (all p >.05) in real‐life settings. In conclusion, the viral shedding duration and clinical course in Henan and Shaanxi Provinces were shorter than those in Hubei Province, and current anti‐viral therapies were ineffective for shortening viral shedding duration and clinical course in real‐world settings. These findings expand our knowledge of the SARS‐CoV‐2 infection and may be helpful for management of the epidemic outbreak of COVID‐19 worldwide. Generally, the process of information fusion for ranking products based on online reviews consists of three stages: product feature extraction, sentiment analysis, and ranking products. In this paper, we review the existing studies on processes and methods of information fusion for each stage. Furthermore, we briefly review the existing research on information fusion based on online reviews in other fields. Himalayan leucogranites are widely distributed in the North Himalayan gneiss dome (NHGD) and at the top of the Greater Himalayan Crystalline Complex (GHC) and are generally controlled by detachment faults. The ages of these prekinematic, synkinematic, and postkinematic leucogranites can be used to limit the activity of detachment structures (such as the South Tibetan Detachment System, STDS). Research on the STDS activity time in the eastern Himalayas is relatively sparse. In this study, the zircon and monazite U–Th–Pb geochronology of synkinematic and postkinematic leucogranites, which are affected by the STDS and NHGD, in four areas (Lhozhag, Kuju, Xiaozhan, and Cuonadong) in Shannan City, Tibet, China, was measured. The results show that the oldest synkinematic two‐mica granite from Lhozhag, which is affected by the STDS, is 24–25 Ma, so the time of STDS activity is at or slightly earlier than 25 Ma. The youngest synkinematic leucogranite is the garnet‐bearing muscovite granite in Cuonadong at 18.4 Ma. The oldest undeformed postkinematic leucogranite (not affected by the STDS) is the muscovite granite in Xiaozhan at 17.4 Ma. Therefore, the end of STDS activity can be limited to 18.4–17.4 Ma. The STDS includes three forms: detachment fault in the NHGD (northern extension of the STDS), the inner STDS between the GHC and Tethyan Himalayan Sequence, and the outer STDS at the bottoms of synformal klippes. In this paper, the active time limits of the above three kinds of detachment zones are comprehensively summarized. Based on this work, the northward extension (ductile deformation) time of the STDS in the region is considered to be 28–17 Ma. The exhumation of the GHC is mainly controlled by in‐sequence shearing: first, the South Tibet Thrust system (predecessor of the STDS) at the top of the GHC thrust southward at 45–28 Ma, then the High Himalayan Discontinuity fault in the middle of the GHC forms south‐vergent ductile thrusts at 28–17 Ma, and finally, the Main Central Thrust at the bottom of the GHC thrust southward at 17–9 Ma. Miocene postcollisional potassic and adakitic rocks are widely distributed in the southern Lhasa terrane and western central Lhasa terrane. However, coeval potassic and adakitic rocks in eastern central Lhasa terrane were rarely recognized, and their origins and formation mechanism remain controversial. In this paper, we provide new geochronological and geochemical data for the Miocene postcollisional potassic and adakitic intrusions exposed in the Qingdu area, eastern central Lhasa terrane, southern Tibet. The Qingdu Miocene intrusions consist of quartz monzonite porphyry and biotite granite with coeval zircon U–Pb ages of 14.1 Ma and 14.0 Ma, respectively. They have high SiO2 (67.98–75.32 wt.%), Al2O3 (14.13–14.78 wt.%), and K2O (4.06–6.18 wt.%) and low MgO (0.25–1.46 wt.%) contents. They are both enriched in light rare earth elements (LREEs) and depleted in heavy rare earth elements (HREEs), with high (La/Yb)N (25.37–42.32) ratios. The biotite granite samples have low Y (7.10–9.96 ppm) and Yb (0.61–0.85 ppm) contents, and high Sr (229–384 ppm) contents and high Sr/Y (30–41) ratios, which show adakitic geochemical characteristics, whereas the quartz monzonite porphyry samples show potassic geochemical characteristics. They display initial (87Sr/86Sr)i ratios of 0.7083–0.7103, εHf(t) values of −6.7 to −0.1, εNd(t) values of −8.96 to −7.44, (208Pb/204Pb)i ratios of 39.028–39.110, (207Pb/204Pb)i ratios of 15.662–15.684, and (206Pb/204Pb)i ratios of 18.541–18.577. These signatures indicate that both the potassic and adakitic intrusions are more likely to originate from partial melting of a thickened lower crust, which were mainly the products of the binary mixing between the juvenile and ancient crust components. Based on the spatial distributions and isotopic features of the postcollisional potassic and adakitic rocks in the Lhasa terrane, we suggest that the differences of the lower crustal composition played a crucial role in causing the geochemical variations of the Miocene postcollisional adakitic and potassic rocks in Lhasa terrane. The Cuonadong Dome in southern Tibet is a newly discovered gneiss dome in the Tethys Himalaya. Here, we investigate the Late Cambrian augen gneiss (orthogneiss) within the core of this dome to address the controversy surrounding early Palaeozoic tectonic evolution of the northern margin of eastern Gondwana. We report new zircon laser ablation multicollector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA‐(MC‐)ICP‐MS) U‐Pb ages, Lu‐Hf isotopes, whole‐rock major and trace element geochemistry, and Sr‐Nd‐Pb data on representative samples from the granitic gneiss. The weighted mean of 116 analyses of zircon grains yields an age of 498.2 ± 1.5 Ma (mean square weighted deviation [MSWD] = 1.2). Forty‐one spots analyses on these grains show consistent εHf (t) values of −2 to +4 (average = +1.1), corresponding to Hf crustal model age (TDM2) of 1.3 to 1.6 Ga (average = 1.39 Ga). The orthogneiss (metagranite) is characterized by high Si and K contents, with low Al, Mg, and Ti, and A/CNK values ranging from 0.87 to 0.98 with an average of 0.92, indicating a metaluminous composition and I‐type granitoid affinity. The granitoid displays significant enrichment in light rare earth elements (LREEs) and relatively flat high rare earth element (HREE) patterns, with strong negative Eu anomalies (Eu/Eu* = 0.26–0.31). The primitive mantle‐normalized trace elements show a relative enrichment in large‐ion lithophile elements, such as Rb, and high‐field strength elements, such as Th, U, Zr, and Hf, with depletion in Ba, Nb, Ta, Sr, P, and Ti. The rocks show high initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios (0.7221–0.7248) and low εNd (t) values (−8.9 to −7.3) with Nd model ages (TDM) of 1.79–1.91 Ga. Their radiogenic Pb isotopic compositions show (206Pb/204Pb)t = 18.804–19.110, (207Pb/204Pb)t = 15.730–15.768, and (208Pb/204Pb)t = 38.409–39.054, indicating an ancient upper middle continental crustal origin. Our study shows that the protolith of the metagranite was most likely derived from the partial melting of upper continental crust with a minor contribution of depleted mantle materials. Through integration of the regional information on early Palaeozoic magmatism and metamorphic events, we contend that the protolith of the Cuonadong granitic gneiss formed in an accretionary setting associated with the early Palaeozoic Proto‐Tethys Oceanic plate subduction beneath the Gondwana continent. The Rongna Cu-(Au) deposit is a recently discovered giant low-grade composite porphyry-high sulfidation epithermal system in the Duolong ore district of central Tibet. We present zircon U-Pb ages, bulk-rock geochemical and Sr-Nd isotope data, as well as zircon Hf-O isotope data to constrain the petrogenesis of the Rongna granodioritic porphyry, on which the ore system is centered. Secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) zircon U-Pb data for two samples yielded ages of 118.7 ± 0.9 Ma and 117.1 ± 0.9 Ma, respectively. The granodioritic porphyry is of high-K calc-alkaline and magnetite-series affinity, with enrichment of light rare earth elements (LREEs) and large-ion lithophile elements (e.g., Rb, Pb, and K), and depletion of high-field strength elements (e.g., Ta, Nb, and Ti), typical of the geochemical signature of arc magmas. The Rongna granodioritic porphyry has initial Sr isotopic ratios of 0.7060–0.7099, and ε Nd (t) values of −5.7 to −1.7 with T DM (Nd) of 983–1900 Ma. The zircons have relatively narrow Hf-O isotopic compositions (ε Hf (t) = +3.30– +6.43; δ 18 O = +5.94– +6.96‰), indicating the involvement of old crustal materials. Our data suggest that the Rongna granodioritic porphyry likely evolved by fractional crystallization from a hybrid magma of mantle-derived mafic melts and lower crustal felsic melts during a period of magmatic flare-up following flat-slab subduction. Magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)) assembly spheres were successfully synthesized by use of a facile bio-template method, with Mg(NO) and NaOH solution as reactants. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The Mg(OH) nanomaterial obtained was assembled from nanoflakes and was approximately 2 μm in total size. Eggshell membrane was crucially important in the process of formation of the assembly spheres. The process and mechanism of assembly of the spheres are discussed. Triassic granitoids, including the ∼220 Ma Shuanghu and ∼210 Ma Rongma granitoids studied here, are widely distributed around the Longmu–Shuanghu suture and in the Qiangtang terrane, central Tibet. The majority of these granitoids can be classified as high-K calc-alkaline in nature and yield negative Ba and Sr anomalies on primitive mantle-normalized diagrams. In addition, they are: enriched in light rare earth elements (LREE) ((La/Yb) N = 1.61–21.79); strongly enriched in large ion lithophile elements (LILE: e.g., Cs, Rb, and K), and depleted in high field strength elements (HFSE: e.g., Nb and Ti). Magma mixing played a role in the genesis of the Shuanghu granodiorites, as indicated by the occurrence of dioritic enclaves and the wide range in zircon Hf compositions (εHf( t ) = −15.0 to −2.5). The I-type Shuanghu granodiorites and S-type Shuanghu and Rongma granites might have been derived from melting of southern Qiangtang crust given the high initial Sr (0.7131–0.7272), low εNd( t ) (−8.9 to −11.1) and zircon εHf( t ) values (−15 to −7.2). The granitoids may have formed during melting of southern Qiangtang crust, heated by upwelling asthenosphere mantle, a result of break-off and delamination of the Paleo-Tethys slab in a collisional setting. The Cuonadong Sn-W-Be polymetallic deposit is the first rare-metal deposit with an extraordinary metallogenic potential that has been discovered in the Tethyan Himalayan metallogenic belt. The deposit shows a wide range of different mineralization types, including greisen-, pegmatite-, skarn-, and hydrothermal vein-type mineralization. Of these mineralization types, the skarn-type has the largest inferred resources. In order to constrain the source and evolution of the ore-forming fluid, we conducted a detailed study of the skarn-hosted scheelite, including cathodoluminescence imaging, in-situ trace elemental analysis, and bulk Sr isotope analysis. In addition, bulk Sr isotope analysis of fluorite, phlogopite 40Ar-39Ar dating, and marble whole-rock geochemical analysis were also conducted. Phlogopite 40Ar-39Ar dating indicates that the skarn was formed at ca. 15 Ma, which is close to the formation age of the Cuonadong muscovite granite reported in previous studies. Cathodoluminescence images indicate that skarn-hosted scheelite can be subdivided into an older type 1 scheelite and a younger type 2 scheelite. Type 1 scheelite is characterized by a negative Eu anomaly, whereas type 2 scheelite shows a positive Eu anomaly. Considering the close temporal and spatial relationship between the Cuonadong Miocene leucogranite and the ore-bearing skarn, and their similar lanthanide tetrad effect as observed in the REE patterns, we propose that the negative Eu anomaly was inherited from the Cuonadong Miocene leucogranite, while the positive Eu anomaly resulted from the addition of Eu2+ to the ore-forming fluid during greisenization. Sr isotope data show that the fluorite (87Sr/86Sr) i value of 0.728885 is within the range of the Cuonadong Miocene leucogranite (87Sr/86Sr) i values, while scheelite (87Sr/86Sr) i values (0.709717–0.713480) are similar to those of the Cuonadong marble (0.709525–0.712146). Since scheelite is intergrown with fluorite, we propose that the hydrothermal fluid that exsolved from the Cuonadong Miocene leucogranite is responsible for formation of both fluorite and scheelite. Water-rock interaction between this magma-derived fluid and the marble is responsible for the loss of the scheelite magmatic Sr isotopic signature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: A biphenyl-linked bis-β-diketone ligand, 3,3′-bis(3-phenyl-3-oxopropanol)biphenyl (BPB) has been prepared for the syntheses of a series of dinuclear lanthanide complexes. The ligand bears two benzoyl β-diketonate sites linked by a 3,3’-biphenyl spacer. Reaction of the doubly negatively charged bis-bidenate ligand with lanthanide ions forms triple-stranded dinuclear complexes Ln2(BPB)3 (Ln=Nd (1), Sm (2), Eu (3), Yb (4) and Gd (5)). Electrospray mass spectrometry is used to identify the formation of the triple-stranded dinuclear complexes 1–5, which have been further characterized by various spectroscopic techniques. The complexes display strong visible and NIR luminescence upon excitation at ligands bands around 360nm, depending on the choice of the lanthanides, and the emission quantum yields and luminescence lifetimes of 2–3 have been determined. It shows that the biphenyl-linked ligand BPB is a more efficient sensitizer than the monodiketone ligand DBM (dibenzoylmethane), through the comparisons of Ln2(BPB)3 and Ln(DBM)3 on their photoluminescent properties. [Display omitted] • The Jigongcun Mo deposit formed during the early Miocene. • High Re concentrations are due to isovalent Re substitution for Mo in molybdenite. • Relatively oxidized fluids caused Re enrichment in the Jigongcun deposit. The Jigongcun Re-rich quartz vein-type Mo deposit is located in the Gangdese porphyry Cu belt, southern Tibet, China. The stratiform and lenticular orebodies are hosted within the quartz veins and are controlled by the NW-/EW-trending faults. In this study, we have identified four hydrothermal stages, namely the (1) pre-ore stage (stage Ⅰ) characterized by the development of thick Mo-free quartz veins; (2) stage Ⅱ, mainly forming thick quartz veins with Re-rich massive molybdenite (Mo1-type; mean = 1811 ppm) and bladed molybdenite (Mo2-type; mean = 1312 ppm); (3) stage III, mainly forming quartz veins with Re-barren bladed molybdenite (Mo3-type) and abundant galena and pyrite; (4) the post-ore stage (stage Ⅳ) characterized by formation of thick ore-barren quartz–calcite veins. Both electron probe micro-analysis and in situ laser ablation–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry analysis of different types of molybdenite show that high Re concentrations are due to isovalent Re substitution for Mo in molybdenite. Fluid evolution during the four stages of mineralization was constrained by a detailed fluid inclusion study. Fluid inclusions during the formation of the early pre-ore stage indicate relatively high-temperature (311–337 °C), high-pressure (1300–1600 bars), low-salinity (0.2–2.6 wt% NaCl-equiv.), and CO 2 -rich hydrothermal fluids. Fluid immiscibility assemblages in CO 2 -rich inclusions coexisting with aqueous inclusions occur in quartz–K-feldspar veins of stage Ⅱ, and likely record phase separation at a temperature of 262–300 °C and pressure of 900–1100 bars, with the precipitation of Re-rich molybdenite. The subsequent fluid mixing occurs at a temperature of 220–271 °C, with the precipitation of Re-barren molybdenite at stage III. H–O–S isotope compositions show that sulfur and ore-forming fluids are derived from a deep-seated igneous source. Re-Os dating of molybdenite samples yielded an isochron age of 22.0 ± 0.4 Ma, indicating that the Jigongcun deposit formed in the Early Miocene, which is earlier than most of the porphyry Cu deposits in the Gangdese porphyry Cu belt. Combined our new geochemical and isotopic results with previous regional investigations, we suggest that the Re-rich Mo mineralization of Jigongcun deposit may be related to the Early Miocene northward subduction of the Indian continental plate. The giant Rongna Cu-(Au) deposit is a recently discovered low-grade composite porphyry-high sulfidation epithermal system in the Duolong ore district of central Tibet. We present fluid inclusion petrography, microthermometry, stable isotope (H, O), and fluid-compositional data (LA-ICP-MS) to constrain the fluid evolution of the Rongna deposit. Hydrothermal quartz and muscovite formed in the porphyry stage yielded fluid values of 8.2 ± 1.0‰ δ18O H2O , and −75 ± 19‰ δD H2O (n = 13). Pyrophyllite, kaolinite, and dickite define the isotopic composition of the epithermal fluid (δ18O H2O = 2.2–8.3‰, δD H2O = −87 ~ −45‰). This epithermal fluid of lighter oxygen isotope and heavier hydrogen isotope composition still has a magmatic-hydrothermal signature and rules out any significant involvement of meteoric water. The very high concentration of Cu in fluid inclusions from epithermal veins and the common sulfide replacement features suggest that the epithermal mineralization may be partially related with the dissolution and re-precipitation of the porphyry-stage sulfides. Combined with fluid inclusion petrography and microthermometric data, it is indicated that a single-phase fluid exsolved from magma at depth and underwent boiling and cooling, forming the porphyry alteration and mineralization. With decrease of temperature and pressure, the ascending vapor contracted into acid aqueous fluid, leaching downward to develop the telescoped high-sulfidation epithermal alteration and mineralization. • The Mingsai deposit formed during the Miocene (16.03 ± 0.31 Ma). • The sulfur of the Au-bearing pyrite has a deep source. • The Mingsai deposit is an orogenic-type Au deposit. Mingsai is a newly discovered Au deposit located in the eastern part of the Tethys Himalayan Au–Sb polymetallic metallogenic belt. The stratiform and lenticular orebodies are hosted within Middle Jurassic metamorphic tuff and quartz-sericite veins and controlled by an interlayer-gliding fracture zone with extensive hydrothermal alteration. In this study, at least three alteration/mineralization stages of the deposit were recognized as follows: (1) pre-ore stage (Stage Ⅰ), forming mainly ore-barren fine quartz veins without sulfides; (2) main ore stage (Stage Ⅱ), forming mainly thick quartz veins with abundant coarse-grained or fine-grained euhedral and subhedral Au-bearing pyrite, arsenopyrite and sericite; and (3) post-ore stage (Stage III), which is characterized by formation of thick barren quartz–calcite veins with few sulfides. Three types of fluid inclusions were identified as follows: (1) pure carbonic (V-type) inclusions, (2) aqueous-carbonic (C-type, including three-phase C1-type and two-phase C2-type) inclusions and (3) aqueous (L-type) inclusions. Fluid inclusions during the pre-ore stage are mainly C1-type, C2-type and V-type. The main ore stage contains mainly C1-type, C2-type, L-type and limited V-type, whereas the post-ore stage contains mainly L-type (with limited C2-type) fluid inclusions. From stages Ⅰ to III, microthermometric data show homogenization temperatures of 292–362 °C (mean = 309 °C), 247–320 °C (mean = 285 °C), and 206–272 °C (mean = 244 °C), respectively, and fluids with salinities of 0.2–8.3 (mean = 2.8) wt% NaCl equiv., 0.2–13.1 (mean = 5.8) wt% NaCl equiv., and 0.8–15.2 (mean = 8.3) wt% NaCl equiv., respectively. The δD values of the fluids from stages I to III range from −129.1‰ to −131.8‰, −137.5‰ to −137.4‰, and −143.6‰ to −138.6‰, respectively. The δ18O H2O values of the fluids from stages Ⅰ to III range from 13.3‰ to 13.6‰, 13.0‰ to 13.2‰, and 11.0‰ to 11.9‰, respectively. The δD and δ18O H2O values may reflect meteoric water involvement in ore-forming fluids sourced from either crustal metamorphism or mantle devolatilization. Fluid mixing is the crucial mechanism that controlled the deposition of the Au-bearing sulfides. In situ δ34S values of the Au-bearing pyrite range from 1.06‰ to 2.41‰, whereas δ34S values of the barren pyrite from the slate range from 8.19‰ to 15.86‰, indicating that sulfur of the Au-bearing pyrite has a deep source. The 40Ar–39Ar plateau age of hydrothermal ore-bearing sericite from the main ore stage is 16.03 ± 0.31 Ma, indicating that the mineralization time of the deposit is Miocene, which is different from other major gold deposits (Eocene) in the Tethys Himalayan Au–Sb polymetallic metallogenic belt. • Cuonadong is the firstly discovered W-Sn-Be-Rb deposit in Himalayan. • Zircon and cassiterite U-Pb and muscovite Ar-Ar ages (15.5–14.3 Ma) are similar. • E-W extension of the NSTR initiated at ca. 18–14 Ma. • Himalaya leucogranites belong to Sn granite. The Cuonadong deposit is located in the Cuonadong gneiss dome of the eastern Tethyan Himalaya and is characterized as a large- to superlarge-scale Sn polymetallic deposit in the Himalaya orogen. The mineralization pattern includes skarn W-Sn mineralization in the strong shear zone of the dome mantle, hydrothermal Sn-W veins controlled by north-south-trending rifts (NSTRs), and Be-Rb mineralization in pegmatitic leucogranite. The results of this study show that the zircon U-Pb age of undeformed (postkinematic) leucogranites is 15.5 ± 0.1 Ma (n = 28, MSWD = 1.4), the cassiterite U-Pb age of the vein-type Sn-W orebody is 14.3 ± 0.5 Ma (n = 40, MSWD = 3.2), and the muscovite Ar-Ar age of beryl-bearing pegmatitic leucogranite is 15.2 ± 0.2 Ma (MSWD = 1.5). The isotopic dating results demonstrate that the Cuonadong Sn-W-Be-Rb mineralization has a close genetic relationship with the Miocene (ca. 16–14 Ma) leucogranite magmatic hydrothermal activity in the Cuonadong dome. The deformed (synkinematic) two-mica granite (18 Ma) was cut by the Sn-W ore veins (14 Ma) faulted by NSTRs, indicating that the E-W-trending extension of the NSTRs initiated at ca. 18–14 Ma. The Himalaya leucogranite belongs to a highly fractionated granite with high Sn content (>15 ppm). In conclusion, the Himalaya leucogranite is considered to be tin granite in this study, and therefore, the Himalaya presents high potential for Sn polymetallic mineralization prospecting. The Tibetan Plateau is characterized by the largest crustal thickness on Earth, although the timing of formation of the plateau remains debated. In this study, we present in situ laser ablation‐inductively coupled plasma‐mass spectrometry zircon U–Pb ages and Hf isotopes, and whole‐rock geochemical data on porphyritic granitoids of Sebuta in the central Lhasa block. Our zircon U–Pb data indicate that these rocks emplaced at ca. 89 Ma, in the early Late Cretaceous. Geochemically, the Sebuta biotite granite porphyry can be broadly divided into two subtypes, namely metaluminous porphyry and peraluminous porphyry. The metaluminous porphyry has high SiO2, Al2O3, Sr, low Y and Yb contents, and high Sr/Y and LaN/YbN ratios, showing adakitic features. These rocks have high K2O and Th contents, low Ti/Eu and Nd/Sm ratios, indicative of a continental crust affinity. Positive zircon εHf(t) values, along with high Mg#, Cr and Ni, imply that the Sebuta adakitic porphyry was most likely derived from partial melting of a delaminated thickened juvenile lower crust, and that the initial melts interacted with mantle peridotite during ascent. The field features, petrographic characteristics, formation age, ore‐bearing potential, and Hf isotope of the peraluminous porphyry are similar to those of the Sebuta adakitic porphyry, indicating that the peraluminous porphyry was likely formed by contamination with ancient crustal material and fractional crystallization from the same primary adakitic magmas which generated the Sebuta adakitic porphyry. Residual phases of amphibole + plagioclase + garnet + rutile in the source region, together with previous studies, suggest that the crust beneath the central‐northern Lhasa block experienced thickening during the early Late Cretaceous, and had already been thickened to more than 50 km by the Late Cretaceous (ca. 89 Ma). Two DMTCNQ (DMTCNQ = 2,5‐dimethyl‐7,7,8,8‐tetracyano‐p‐quinodimethane) and DETCNQ (DETCNQ = 2,5‐diethyl‐7,7,8,8‐tetracyano‐p‐quinodimethane) gadolinium complexes [Gd(DMTCNQ)2(CH3OH)(H2O)6][DMTCNQ]·4H2O (1) and [Gd(DETCNQ)(H2O)7][2DETCNQ] (2) were synthesized by reactions of GdCl3·6H2O with Li(DMTCNQ) or Li(DETCNQ). X‐ray diffraction analysis reveals that complexes 1 and 2 are discrete complexes. The central metal atom in 1 is coordinated by two DMTCNQ ligand radicals whereas that in 2 is coordinated by just one DETCNQ ligand radical. The adjacent molecules are connected by the intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form the two‐dimensional (2D) supramolecular layer structures, which are further packed into a three‐dimensional (3D) supramolecular architecture through the π–π interactions between ligand radicals in 1 and 2. • The vein quartz has early CL-bright Q1 and late CL-dark Q2 generations. • In situ analysis reveals obvious difference in oxygen isotopes between Q1 and Q2. • Molybdenite precipitated coeval with Q2, but later than Q1. • Formation of Q2 resulted from a significant input of meteoric water. • Fluid cooling by incursion of meteoric water caused Mo precipitation. There has been a long-term debate about the timing of the incursion of meteoric water into porphyry systems and whether it plays an important role in ore precipitation. To evaluate the role of meteoric water in the mineralization in porphyry Mo deposits, typical hydrothermal veins of different stages from the Chalukou giant porphyry Mo deposit are selected for combined scanning electron microscope cathodoluminescence (SEM-CL), fluid inclusion microthermometry and high-resolution secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) oxygen isotope analyses. Multiple generations of quartz are identified in almost all of the veins. The barren quartz veins and quartz-magnetite veins of the early Mo mineralization stage are dominated by granular CL-bright quartz (EMQ1), which usually shows dissolution and re-deposition textures and are overprinted by CL-dark quartz (EMQ2)-filled healed fractures. The molybdenite precipitation in the quartz-molybdenite veins of the main Mo mineralization stage is synchronous with small volumes (<15%) of CL-dark quartz (MMQ2) and postdates the large volume (>85%) of CL-bright quartz (MMQ1). Similar to the quartz-molybdenite veins, the precipitation of pyrite in the quartz-pyrite veins during the transitional stage and sphalerite in the quartz-sphalerite-pyrite veins during the Zn-Pb mineralization stage are also directly associated with CL-dark quartz (TSQ2, ZPQ2). The SIMS oxygen isotopic values of EMQ1 and MMQ1 fall into the range of 5.42–9.79‰ with calculated equilibrium fluid compositions of 2.07–6.45‰, indicating a magma-dominated fluid composition, whereas MMQ2, TSQ2 and ZPQ2 have very low oxygen isotopic values from −4.68 to 4.29‰ with corresponding fluid compositions of −13.64 to −5.94‰, implying that the fluid formed by the mixing of magmatic water and a large proportion of meteoric water. The contrasting SEM-CL features and oxygen isotopic compositions of the two generations of quartz in the quartz-molybdenite veins demonstrate that the incursion of meteoric water into the hydrothermal system occurred earlier than the molybdenite precipitation. Based on these results and the crosscutting relationships and spatial distribution of the veins, we reconstructed the quartz evolutionary sequence during the vein development process. After the early precipitation of barren quartz, the reduction in fluid pressure from lithostatic to hydrostatic conditions allowed the incursion of convecting cool meteoric water into the relatively hot hydrothermal system, and the temperature of the evolved Mo-rich fluid decreased rapidly from >500 °C to <400 °C, leading to concentrated molybdenite precipitation with small volumes of quartz. Fluid cooling resulting from the incursion of meteoric water may have played a greater role in the metal precipitation in the Chalukou Mo deposit than wallrock interactions and fluid boiling. Abstract To constrain the pre-mineralization tectonic evolutionary history and the nature of the magma source of the Chalukou Mo deposit, which is located on the western margin of the Xing'an block, we recognized and studied a period of Neoproterozoic magmatism and a suite of Early Paleozoic volcanic rocks in this ore district. The magmatic zircons of quartz chlorite schist collected from the Wolegen Group yielded a concordant 206Pb/238U age of 685.1 ± 4.5 Ma (MSWD = 0.21), and they show very high εHf(t) values (+15.5 to +17.3) and young Hf modal ages (573–664 Ma) close to the formation age, indicating that the protolith was generated during the Neoproterozoic, and was most likely derived from a depleted mantle region. This Neoproterozoic magmatism might represent an important crustal growth event within the Xing'an Block. The host wallrocks in the Chalukou deposit mainly consist of rhyolite, dacite, andesite and volcanic tuff which have undergone slight deformation and metamorphism. The results of zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating indicated that they were generated during 472–475 Ma. The results of whole-rock geochemical analysis indicate that they have arc-affinity features characterized by LREE enrichment with moderate to strong fractionation between LREE and HREE (La N /Yb N = 7.7–13.6), intense negative Eu anomalies (δEu = 0.36–0.71), pronounced positive Ba, Th, U, Pb and La anomalies and negative Nb-Ta, P and Ti anomalies. Hf isotopes show various εHf (t) values ranging from −2.0 to +5.9 and slightly old two-stage model ages ranging from 1070 Ma to 1573 Ma. Combined with discrimination diagrams, these data indicate that they were derived from the partial melting of a slightly older lower crust with the addition of a juvenile crust component in an active continental margin setting related to the subduction of the Paleo-Asian Ocean between the Xing'an and Songliao blocks. The existence of Neoproterozoic magmatic activity and Mesoproterozoic lower crustal materials obtained from the Hf model ages of the Paleozoic volcanic rocks in the Chalukou ore district demonstrated that Precambrian basement exists in the Xing'an Block, but its distribution area may be limited. As the largest porphyry Mo deposit in China, the ore-forming materials might have multiple sources, considering the long-term and multiple magmatic events that occurred under different tectonic settings in the ore district. The previous modification and refertilization of the lower crust and/or lithospheric mantle by the subduction of the Paleo-Asian Ocean might be important in the generation of the fertile lower crust, which is the direct source of the ore-related porphyries. Ore-forming fluids ultimately precipitate Fe-bearing sulfides and oxides in hydrothermal ore deposits and the Fe isotopic composition of these minerals can trace magmatic-hydrothermal evolution. Here, we report on the Fe isotopic compositions of a suite of hydrothermal minerals (magnetite, pyrite, and chalcopyrite) and granodiorite porphyry from the giant Duolong porphyry Cu-Au deposit (Bolong and Duobuza section), central Tibet. Most magnetite grains with potassic alteration show only minor δ 57 Fe variation (0.38 ± 0.07‰ to 0.52 ± 0.04‰ in Bolong and 0.68 ± 0.02‰ to 0.77 ± 0.08‰ in Duobuza), consistent with the equilibrium fluid δ 57 Fe (∼−0.3‰ and ∼−0.1‰, respectively) at ∼550–480 °C. The equilibrium fluids have lighter Fe isotope signatures than the Duolong granodiorite porphyry (δ 57 Fe = 0.03 ± 0.06‰ to 0.07 ± 0.02‰), corroborating the hypothesis that exsolved fluids should have a lighter Fe isotopic composition relative to parental magmas. Chalcopyrite from the mineralized Bolong and Duobuza porphyries have relatively consistent δ 57 Fe values of −0.60 ± 0.07‰ to −0.42 ± 0.07‰ and −0.40 ± 0.08‰ to −0.30 ± 0.05‰, respectively, with equilibrium fluids at ∼450–350 °C having lighter δ 57 Fe values of ∼−0.7‰ and ∼−0.6‰. The trend of decreasing δ 57 Fe values in evolved fluids likely reflects Rayleigh fractionation of magnetite enriched in heavy Fe isotopes. This supposition is supported by the lighter δ 57 Fe value (0.25 ± 0.07‰) recorded in magnetite that equilibrated with a lighter δ 57 Fe fluid (∼−0.5‰) at ∼470 °C. Compared to chalcopyrite, pyrite from the Bolong and Duobuza sections have heavier δ 57 Fe values of 0.35 ± 0.06‰ to 0.71 ± 0.06‰ and 0.53 ± 0.06‰ to 0.71 ± 0.07‰, respectively. The pyrite values correlate variably with the Fe isotopic composition of ore-forming fluids (δ 57 Fe = −0.6‰ to −0.7‰), likely due to variations in the degree of Fe isotope exchange between pyrite and fluid. Moreover, combined with previously published Fe isotopic compositions of hydrothermal minerals from oxidized and reduced ore deposits, the results show that chalcopyrite in oxidized hydrothermal deposits always has a lighter Fe isotopic composition than chalcopyrite from reduced hydrothermal deposits. This is likely controlled by melt composition and precipitation of magnetite/pyrrhotite-bearing mineral assemblages. Abstract This paper presents new geochronological and geochemical (whole-rock major and trace elements and Sr–Nd–Pb isotopes) data on intrusive rocks exposed in the Qiongduojiang area, the northern part of the Tethyan Himalaya. The Qiongduojiang intrusive rocks are mainly composed of mafic rocks (diabase and gabbro) with subordinate felsic rocks (monzonite), indicating bimodal component characteristics. In zircon U-Pb dating of monzonite, diabase and gabbro samples, the weighted mean ages of magma emplacement were determined to be 230.5 ± 2.9 Ma to 227.4 ± 4.7 Ma, showing Middle–Late Triassic magmatic activity in the northern part of the Himalayan belt. The monzonitic rocks share most of the geochemical features of A-type granites, and their Nd isotopic compositions are consistent with those of coeval diabase rocks. This suggests that they are likely generated by mantle-derived magmas, which had assimilated significant amounts of continental crust. The gabbro samples exhibit the geochemical composition of ocean island basalt (OIB) features and therefore assumingly originate from a depleted mantle source with insignificant crustal contamination. In contrast, the diabase samples display enriched mid-ocean ridge basalt (E-MORB) features and were derived from spinel bearing peridotite that was metasomatised by OIB-like components with limited crustal contamination. The Qiongduojiang bimodal magmas can be considered as the products of the opening of the Neo-Tethyan ocean. Considering the magmatic petrology, paleomagnetism and paleontology data, we further propose that the Neo-Tethyan ocean began opening before ~230 Ma. Ru(ii) compounds are potential candidates for photodynamic therapy (PDT). In the present study, a Ru(ii) compound based on 3-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (Hpypz) and 2,2′-bipyridine has been prepared and characterized. This compound can self-assemble to form nanoparticles (NPs) by nanoprecipitation in distilled water. These NPs with a mean size of 92 nm have good passive targeting by enhanced permeability and retention effect (EPR). In vitro studies on HeLa cells show that these NPs have high phototoxicity and a low IC50 (half-maximal inhibitory concentration) of only 8 μg mL−1 (12 μM), but they also have negligible dark toxicity. Moreover, such NPs can inhibit the migration of HeLa cells, indicating their potential to interfere with the transfer of tumors in vivo. Furthermore, in vivo investigations on nude mice demonstrate that such NPs can effectively inhibit the growth of the tumor. After treatment for 10 cycles, an obvious decrease in the tumor volume can be observed and in addition, the main organs (heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney) suffer no damage, which indicates the high phototoxicity, low toxicity and excellent biocompatibility of these NPs. Ore-forming fluid exsolution in a shallow magma chamber is a critical step in the formation of porphyry Cu ± Mo ± Au deposits but one for which direct evidence is rarely found. Here, Cl abundance, major-trace element content and H isotope analysis of amphibole in diorite and barren granodiorite porphyry samples from the Duolong porphyry-epithermal Cu-Au district are presented in order to reveal processes associated with fluid exsolution and magma evolution. Low-Al Mg-hornblende formed in ore-bearing diorite at ∼750–860 °C and ∼80–200 MPa. On primitive mantle-normalized diagrams, these low-Al amphibole grains have slightly convex upward REE patterns with distinctly negative Eu anomalies and negative anomalies in Pb, Sr, Eu, Zr, Hf, and Ti anomalies, suggesting crystallization from the same arc magma after plagioclase and magnetite crystallization. A large variation in estimated melt H 2 O (∼6 to 3 wt%) and Cl content (0.09–0.38 wt%), as well as low δD values (−103 to −113‰) indicate that the magma underwent large-scale fluid exsolution, contributing to the formation of Duolong Cu-Au mineralization. Additionally, amphibole from a barren granodiorite porphyry shows two distinct populations, distinguished by their Al content. This intrusion has low-Al amphibole (Mg-hornblende) which formed at similar conditions to low-Al amphiboles in the diorite (∼790–870 °C and ∼100–230 MPa), whereas high-Al amphibole (tschermakite) formed at ∼880–970 °C and ∼210–400 MPa. Some high-Al amphibole phenocrysts have slightly convex REE patterns with no negative Eu anomalies, a depletion in Nb, Zr, and Hf, and positive Sr, Ba, and Pb anomalies, likely consistent with amphibole crystallization from more mafic basaltic-andesitic melts. Low-Al amphibole in the granodiorite porphyry shows different compositional trends compared to those in the diorite, suggesting that they crystallized from different magmas. Considering the evidence for mafic magma replenishment suggested by the positive correlation between Al IV and Mg# values in high-Al amphibole, the low-Al amphibole in the barren granodiorite porphyry likely crystallized from a new hybrid magma with mafic to intermediate-felsic magma compositions. Meanwhile, smaller variations in Cl content (0.08–0.24 wt%) in low-Al amphibole was dominantly controlled by magma evolution (shown by variable Mg#) rather than fluid exsolution. Thus, the low δD values (−102 to −122‰) were likely inherited from evolved dioritic magmas that underwent fluid exsolution. Importantly, the Cl compositional variation of amphibole has a potential application as a powerful tool to identify ore-bearing and barren intrusions within porphyry Cu ± Mo ± Au deposits. A new high sulfidation epithermal Cu–Au occurrence (Nadun) has been discovered adjacent to the Cretaceous Duolong porphyry Cu–Au deposit within the Bangong–Nujiang metallogenic belt, central Tibet. The Nadun Cu–Au mineralization is hosted in a tectonic–hydrothermal breccia with advanced argillic alteration, which occurs above sandstone, associated with quartz–pyrite veins. The granodiorite porphyry with strong argillic alteration yields a zircon U–Pb age of 119.1 ± 1.3 Ma, whereas the weakly argillic granodiorite porphyry intruded into the breccia has a younger age of 116.1 ± 1.3 Ma. This indicates that Cu–Au epithermal mineralization likely occurred between ~ 116 Ma and ~ 119 Ma, consistent with the duration of magmatic–hydrothermal activity at Duolong (~ 115–118 Ma), and providing evidence that Nadun and Duolong were formed during the same event. Moreover, the Nadun and Duolong porphyries have similar Hf isotopic compositions (εHf(t) values ranging from − 8.8 to 8.1; mean = 5.0 ± 1.1, n = 32), likely indicating that the deposits are comagmatic. In addition, boiling assemblages in vapor-rich inclusions coexisting with brines occur in early stage quartz–pyrite veins, and likely record phase separation at a temperature of > 550–300 °C and pressure of 700–110 bars. Most liquid-rich fluid inclusions formed at the breccia stage show similar salinity (1.7–19.3 wt.% NaCl equiv) to vapor-rich inclusions from the underlying quartz–pyrite veins, likely indicating vapor contraction during cooling at elevated presssure. This suggests that quartz–pyrite veins may act as conduits for ore-forming fluid traveling from the porphyry to the epithermal hydrothermal system. O and H isotopic compositions (δ 18 O fluid = 0.42–9.71‰ and δD = − 102 to − 66‰) suggest that ore-forming fluids are dominantly from a magmatic source with a minor addition of meteoric water at a later stage. The S and Fe isotope compositions of sulfides (δ 34 S = − 5.9 to 0.5‰ and δ 57 Fe = − 2.15 to 0.17‰) decrease from the quartz–pyrite vein to breccia ore, indicating that ore-forming fluids gradually become SO 4 2 -enriched and relatively oxidized. The Duolong porphyry Cu-Au deposit (5.4 Mt at 0.72% Cu, 41 t at 0.23 g/t Au) was recently discovered in the southern Qiangtang terrane, central Tibet. Here, new whole-rock elemental and Sr-Nd-Pb isotope and zircon Hf isotopic data of syn- and post-ore volcanic rocks and barren and ore-bearing granodiorite porphyries are presented for a reconstruction of magmas associated with Cu-Au mineralization. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating yields mean ages of 117.0 ± 2.0 and 120.9 ± 1.7 Ma for ore-bearing granodiorite porphyry and 105.2 ± 1.3 Ma for post-ore basaltic andesite. All the samples show high-K calc-alkaline compositions, with enrichment of light rare earth elements (LREE) and large ion lithophile elements (LILE: Cs and Rb) and depletion of high field strength elements (HFSE: Nb and Ti), consistent with the geochemical characteristics of arc-type magmas. Syn- and post-ore volcanic rocks show initial Sr ratios of 0.7045-0.7055, εNd(t) values of −0.8 to 3.6, (206Pb/204Pb)t ratios of 18.408-18.642, (207Pb/204Pb)t of 15.584-15.672 and positive zircon εHf(t) values of 1.3-10.5, likely suggesting they dominantly were derived from metasomatized mantle wedge and contaminated by southern Qiangtang crust. Compared to mafic volcanic rocks, barren and ore-bearing granodiorite porphyries have relatively high initial Sr isotopic ratios (0.7054-0.7072), low εNd(t) values (−1.7 to −4.0), similar Pb and enriched zircon Hf isotopic compositions [εHf(t) of 1.5-9.7], possibly suggesting more contribution from southern Qiangtang crust. Activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) depending on epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) reflects the key event of liver fibrosis. Contrastively, mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition (MET) of HSCs facilitates the fibrosis resolution. Here we investigated the effect of Fuzheng Huayu (FZHY) recipe, a Chinese herbal decoction made of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Semen Persicae, Cordyceps sinensis, Pollen Pini, and Gynostemma pentaphyllum, on liver fibrosis concerning the balance of EMT and MET in HSCs. In contrast to the increased TGF-β1/BMP-7 ratio in activated HSCs, FZHY administration induced significant upregulation of BMP-7 and downregulation of TGF-β1 at both transcription and translation levels. Restoration of TGF-β1/BMP-7 ratio inhibited the expression of p38 MAPK and phosphorylated p38 MAPK, resulting in the reversal of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) to mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition (MET) as characterized by the abolishment of EMT markers (α-SMA and desmin) and reoccurrence of MET marker (E-cadherin). In vivo treatment of FZHY recipe also demonstrated the statistical reduction of activated HSCs with EMT phenotype, which attenuated the carbon tetrachloride- (CCl4-) induced liver fibrosis in a dose-dependent manner. The Bangong- Nujiang suture ( BNS) between the Lhasa and Qiangtang terranes is an important boundary and its petrogenesis is controversial. Diabase from the accretionary prism in the southern Qiangtang terrane yields a zircon U- Pb age of 181.3 ± 1.4 Ma. All the diabases show tholeiitic basalt compositions, gentle enrichment patters of light rare earth elements ( REE), variable enrichment in incompatible element concentrations (e.g. Th and Rb), and no anomaly in high field strength elements (e.g. Nb and Ta), similar to that of enriched mid-ocean ridge basalt ( E- MORB). They have relatively homogeneous whole rock Nd (ε Nd(t) = 7.3-9.1) and zircon Hf- O isotopic compositions (ε Hf(t) = 14.8-16.1, and δ18 O = 4.57-6.12‰), possibly indicating melting of the depleted mantle and no significant crustal contamination during the petrogenesis. Abundant magmatic rocks of various ages are exposed in Gangdese, southern Tibet. These rocks play an important role in understanding the tectonic transformation from the subduction of Neo-Tethyan oceanic crust to the collision of the Indian and Asian continents. Based on zircon U–Pb ages, geochemistry, and Sr–Nd–Pb–Hf isotopic data of the Late Cretaceous to early Oligocene (~ 96–30 Ma) intrusive rocks in the Nuri Cu–W–Mo deposit, we discuss the Late Cretaceous to early Oligocene tectonic transformation of the region and the origin of Oligocene Cu–W–Mo mineralization in southern Gangdese. The Nuri intrusive rocks represent three magmatic episodes: 96–91, 56–52, and 33–30 Ma. The 96–91 and 56–52 Ma rocks have relatively low ( 87 Sr/ 86 Sr) i (0.7041 to 0.7060), and high εNd(t) (+ 3.1 to + 3.5) and εHf(t) values (+ 3.7 to + 15); the 33–30 Ma rocks have relatively high ( 87 Sr/ 86 Sr) i (0.7061 to 0.7063) and Pb isotopes, and low εNd(t) (− 3.8 to − 1.8) and εHf(t) values (+ 0.6 to + 10.1). The three stages of intrusive rocks have geochemical characteristics that are similar to those of coeval rocks in Gangdese. The 96–91 and 33–30 Ma rocks are adakitic, whereas the 56–52 Ma rocks have characteristics of arc calc-alkaline magmatic rocks. The 96–91 Ma rocks were produced by the partial melting of Neo-Tethyan basaltic oceanic crust and minor sediments, whereas the 56–52 Ma rocks were generated by the partial melting of juvenile crust and the 33–30 Ma rocks were formed by the melting of Indian plate lower crust contaminated with overlying mantle materials. On the basis of the regional tectonic and magmatic characteristics, we suggest that Neo-Tethyan oceanic slab subduction and slab roll-back occurred from ~ 100 to 65 Ma, collision between the Indian and Asian continents occurred at 65 to 40 Ma, Neo-Tethyan oceanic slab break-off took place at ~ 50 Ma, and the Indian continent subducted northwards beneath the Asian continent at ~ 30 Ma. From the Late Cretaceous (96–91 Ma) to Oligocene (~ 30 Ma), the geodynamic setting of Gangdese was changed from Neo-Tethyan oceanic subduction to Indian continental subduction. In contrast to the Miocene metallogenic rocks, the magmatic source of Oligocene metallogenic rocks contains old Indian continental crust materials, which result in the formation of intense, unique Cu–W–Mo mineralization, especially W mineralization, in the southern Gangdese. Background. Immunotherapy has been considered as a promising cancer treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, due to the particular immune environment of the liver, identifying patients who could benefit from immunotherapy is critical in clinical practice. Methods. The pyroptosis gene expression database of 54 candidates from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) were collected to discover the critical prognostic-related pyroptosis genes. A novel pyroptosis gene model was established to calculate the risk score. Kaplan–Meier analysis and receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) were used to verify its predictive ability. The International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) data was collected as external validation data to verify the model's accuracy. We employed multiple bioinformatics tools and algorithms to evaluate the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) and the response to immunotherapy. Results. Our study found that most pyroptosis genes were expressed differently in normal and tumor tissues and that their expression was associated with the prognosis. Then, a precise four-pyroptosis gene model was generated. The one-year area under the curves (AUCs) among the training, internal, and external validation patients were 0.901, 0.727, and 0.671, respectively. An analysis of survival data revealed that individuals had a worse prognosis than patients with low risk. The analysis of TIME revealed that the low-risk group had more antitumor cells, fewer immunosuppressive cells, stronger immune function, less immune checkpoint gene expression, and better immunotherapy response than the high-risk group. Immunophenoscore (IPS) analysis also demonstrated that the low-risk score was related to superior immune checkpoint inhibitors therapy. Conclusion. A nomogram based on the four-pyroptosis gene signature was a novel tool to predict the effectiveness of immunotherapy for HCC. Abstract: Mesozoic intermediate–felsic intrusions are widely distributed in the southern Qiangtang terrane, central Tibet. Zircon U–Pb dating shows that these intrusions formed in two periods in the Jurassic (169–150Ma) and Cretaceous (127–113Ma). They mostly belong to the high-K calc-alkaline series, and show strong enrichments in large ion lithophile elements (e.g., Cs, Rb, and K), depletions in Nb, Ta, and Ti, and negative Ba anomalies on primitive mantle-normalized diagrams. P2O5 contents decrease with increasing SiO2 content, and Th contents increase with increasing Rb content, consistent with the evolution trend of I-type magmas. These intrusions show a wide range of zircon εHf(t) values from −19.4 to 11.2, including in rocks with similar SiO2 contents, suggesting variable contributions from mantle and Qiangtang crustal sources. Fine-grained mafic to intermediate igneous enclaves in Jurassic intrusions have similar zircon U–Pb ages and similar or slightly higher zircon εHf(t) values to the host rocks, suggesting that the enclave magmas were derived from mixed magmas at depth and injected into more evolved magmas in upper crustal magma chambers. Magma mixing is also supported by the wide range of zircon Hf isotopic compositions (εHf(t)=−19.4 to 2.5) from within individual Jurassic and Cretaceous intrusions, and Jurassic enclaves. The Jurassic–Cretaceous magmas likely formed in a continental arc setting during subduction of the Bangong–Nujiang ocean between 170 and 110Ma, and evolved in the upper plate crust by MASH processes. • Recombinant human IL-37 can protect cardiac allografts; • Recombinant human IL-37 plays a protective role on cardiac allografts by regulating immunotolerant cells; • Recombinant human IL-37 inhibits CD4+ and CD11c+ cells associated with a reduction in p-mTOR expression in vivo and in vitro. Allograft rejection remains a major obstacle to long-term graft survival. Although previous studies have demonstrated that IL-37 exhibited significant immunomodulatory effects in various diseases, research on its role in solid organ transplantation has not been fully elucidated. In this study, the therapeutic effect of recombinant human IL-37 (rhIL-37) was evaluated in a mouse cardiac allotransplantation model. The C57BL/6 recipients mouse receiving BALB/c donor hearts were treated with rhIL-37. Graft pathological and immunohistology changes, immune cell populations, and cytokine profiles were analyzed on postoperative day (POD) 7. The proliferative capacities of Th1, Th17, and Treg subpopulations were assessed in vitro. Furthermore, the role of the p-mTOR pathway in rhIL-37-induced CD4+ cell inhibition was also elucidated. Compared to untreated groups, treatment of rhIL-37 achieved long-term cardiac allograft survival and effectively alleviated allograft rejection indicated by markedly reduced infiltration of CD4+ and CD11c+ cells and ameliorated graft pathological changes. rhIL-37 displayed significantly less splenic populations of Th1 and Th17 cells, as well as matured dendritic cells. The percentages of Tregs in splenocytes were significantly increased in the therapy group. Furthermore, rhIL-37 markedly decreased the levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ, but increased the level of IL-10 in the recipients. In addition, rhIL-37 inhibited the expression of p-mTOR in CD4+ cells of splenocytes. In vitro , similar to the in vivo experiments, rhIL-37 caused a decrease in the proportion of Th1 and Th17, as well as an increase in the proportion of Treg and a reduction in p-mTOR expression in CD4+ cells. We demonstrated that rhIL-37 effectively suppress acute rejection and induce long-term allograft acceptance. Abstract: The Duolong porphyry Cu–Au deposit (5.4Mt at 0.72% Cu, 41t at 0.23g/t Au), which is related to the granodiorite porphyry and the quartz–diorite porphyry from the Bangongco copper belt in central Tibet, formed in a continental arc setting. Here, we present the zircon U–Pb ages, geochemical whole-rock, Sr–Nd whole-rock and zircon in-situ Hf–O isotopic data for the Duolong porphyries. Secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) zircon U–Pb analyses for six samples yielded consistent ages of ~118Ma, indicating a Cretaceous formation age. The Duolong porphyries (SiO2 of 58.81–68.81wt.%, K2O of 2.90–5.17wt.%) belong to the high-K calc-alkaline series. They show light rare earth element (LREE)-enriched distribution patterns with (La/Yb)N =6.1–11.7, enrichment in large ion lithophile elements (e.g., Cs, Rb, and Ba) and depletion of high field strength elements (e.g., Nb), with negative Ti anomalies. All zircons from the Duolong porphyries share relatively similar Hf–O isotopic compositions (δ18O=5.88–7.27‰; εHf(t)=3.6–7.3), indicating that they crystallized from a series of cogenetic melts with various degrees of fractional crystallization. This, along with the general absence of older inherited zircons, rules out significant crustal contamination during zircon growth. The zircons are mostly enriched in δ18O relative to mantle values, indicating the involvement of an 18O-enriched crustal source in the generation of the Duolong porphyries. Together with the presence of syn-mineralization basaltic andesite, the mixing between silicic melts derived from the lower crust and evolved H2O-rich mafic melts derived from the metasomatized mantle wedge, followed by subsequent fractional crystallization (FC) and minor crustal contamination in the shallow crust, could well explain the petrogenesis of the Duolong porphyries. Significantly, the hybrid melts possibly inherited the arc magma characteristics of abundant F, Cl, Cu, and Au elements and high oxidation state, which contributed to the formation of the Duolong porphyry Cu–Au deposit. Abstract: Porphyry Cu–Mo deposits, related to the Miocene adakitic porphyries from the Gangdese porphyry copper belt in the southern Tibet, formed in a post-collisional setting. Here, we present the new zircon U–Pb ages, whole-rock chemical, and Sr–Nd and zircon Hf isotopic data for the ore-bearing adakitic porphyries from Gangdese porphyry copper belt. LA-ICP-MS zircon dating for six samples yielded ages ranging from 19Ma to 14Ma, indicating they formed in the Miocene. The ore-bearing adakitic porphyries show SiO2 of 61.47–71.67%, K2O of 3.29–4.74%, and high Sr content (394–1106ppm), high Sr/Y ratios (63–158), and low Y (6.12–10.3ppm) and heavy rare earth element contents (e.g. Yb=0.52–0.91ppm). They show steep fractionated REE and flat HREE patterns, and strong enrichment in large ion lithophile elements (Cs, Rb, Ba, Th, and U) and depletion of high field strength elements (Nb), with positive Sr and negative Ti anomalies. There are no linear variations of Ba, La, Sr/Y, Dy/Yb, (87Sr/86Sr)i, and εNd(t) with increasing SiO2 content. Combined with the zircon positive εHf(t) values, and wide range of (87Sr/86Sr)i (0.70559 to 0.70908) and of εNd(t) (−6.8 to 0) values for all the adakitic samples, they were likely derived from the melting of garnet-bearing amphibolite in the juvenile arc mafic lower crust. Additionally, the adakitic porphyries with low Th/Nb ratios have lower initial 87Sr/86Sr, and higher εNd(t) and εHf(t) values, and those with high Th/Nb show higher initial 87Sr/86Sr, and lower εNd(t) and εHf(t) values. This indicates that the juvenile arc lower crust is derived from the melting of the mantle wedge that was metasomatized by slab fluid or sediment melt during the Neotethyan ocean subduction. Significantly, the juvenile arc lower crust possibly inherited the arc magma characteristics of abundant in F, Cl, and Cu and high oxidation state, which contributed to the porphyry Cu–Mo deposits in the Gangdese porphyry copper belt. Abstract: Three novel N,N′-bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)-1,3-diaminopropane dimeric lanthanide complexes, namely, [{H2L}Sm(NO3)3]2·H2O (1), [{H2L}Gd(NO3)3]4·CH3OH (2), [{H2L}Lu(NO3)3]4·H2O (3) (H2L= N,N′-bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)-1,3-diaminopropane) and three new N,N′-bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)-1,3-diaminopropane 3d-Gd heterodinuclear complexes, namely, [{LCo}(CH3COO)(CH3COOH)Gd(NO3)2] (4), [{LNi(MeOH)2}Gd(NO3)3]·2MeOH (5) and [{(L)Zn(HNO3)}Gd(NO3)3]·NO3·H3O·MeOH (6) have been synthesized and isolated. X-ray crystallographical analysis reveals that complexes 1–3 are isomorphic with unique dimeric topology. Complexes 4–6 are of discrete 3d–4f dinuclear cores. Abstract: Background/aims: Vascular dementia (VaD) is the second common cause of dementia after Alzheimer''s disease (AD) in later life. The methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) C677T polymorphism as a risk factor in VaD has been suggested, but direct evidence from genetic association studies remain inconclusive. We performed a meta-analysis pooling data from all relevant studies in order to determine the effect of the MTHFR C677T polymorphism on VaD. Methods: We applied a random-effects or fixed-effects model to combine odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (95%CI). Q statistic was used to evaluate the homogeneity, and Egger''s test and Funnel plot were used to assess publication bias. Results: A total of 11 studies, comprising 672 cases and 1038 controls, were included worldwide. Publication bias was not observed. This meta-analysis demonstrated that the MTHFR T allele or TT genotype had an increased risk for VaD in general populations (OR, 95%CI: 1.27, 1.01–1.59; 1.41, 1.06-1.88, respectively), and a significant association was found in allele contrast, recessive, and dominant model in Asian populations, but not in Caucasian populations. Abstract: Three Salen-like gadolinium complexes, namely, mononuclear (4f) complex [{H2L}Gd(NO3)3] (1), heterodinuclear (3d–4f) complex [{LCu}Gd(NO3)3]·0.25H2O (2) and dimeric heterotrinuclear (3d–4f–3d′) complex [{LCu}Gd(H2O)3{Fe(CN)6}]2·6H2O (3) [H2L = N,N′-ethylene-bis(3-methoxysalicylideneimine)] have been synthesized by stepwise reactions. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that 1 is of a discrete structure in which H2L coordinates to gadolinium ion through O2O2 moiety. Then, addition of Cu(Ac)2·H2O to the mononuclear lanthanide complex yields expected heterodinuclear (3d–4f) complexes [{LCu}Gd(NO3)3]. 3 features a unique 1D ladder-like topology structure through the intermolecular double links of Cu–N bonds. The measurement of variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility reveals that complex 1 exhibits antiferromagnetic interaction while 2 and 3 exhibit ferromagnetic interaction between spin carriers. Abstract: Three one-dimensional (1D) heterospin trimetallic chain-like polymers [{LCu(H2O)}Ln(MeOH)(H2O)2{(μ-CN)2Fe(CN)4}]·2H2O (1, Ln=La; 2, Ln=Nd; 3, Ln=Gd) were prepared by substitution of the nitrato ligands in [LCuLn] complexes with [Fe(CN)6]3− ions (H2L= N,N′-bis(3-methoxysalicylidene)propane-1,2-diamine). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the methyl on the salen-type ligand impeded the connection between cyanide groups and Cu(II) ions efficiently. Consequently, three novel one-dimensional (1D) trimetallic chain-like polymers were obtained with the linker [Fe(CN)6]3− ions interacting only with the lanthanide ions. Abstract: Reactions of H2L [H2L= N,N′-bis(3-methoxysalicylidene)propane-1,2-diamine] and Ln(NO3)3 ·6H2O give rise to two different mononuclear 4f complexes, namely, {[(H2L)La(NO3)3(MeOH)]·H2O} n (1) and [(H2L)Nd(NO3)3] (2). Further additions of Cu(Ac)2 ·H2O to the mononuclear 4f complexes yield expected heterodinuclear Cu-4f complexes [LCu(Me2CO)Ln(NO3)3] (3, Ln=Nd; 4, Ln=Eu; 5, Ln=Dy). Complex 1 is a unique 1D polymeric chain structure, and 2 is one of the few structurally characterized discrete hexadentate salen-type mononuclear 4f complexes. Complexes 3–5 are similar to their analogues. However, they are prepared by a reversed synthetic route in contrast to their isomorphic complexes. Electrochemical behavior of heterodinuclear Cu-4f complexes 3–5 has been examined by cyclic voltammetry in acetonitrile. The redox potential of heterodinuclear Cu-4f complexes 3–5 shows significant anodic shift comparing to that of mononuclear copper complex (LCu). Abstract: Reaction of Ln(NO3)3·6H2O with H2L [H2L=N,N′-bis(salicylidene)propane-1,2-diamine] gives rise to five new coordination polymers, viz. [Pr(H2L)(NO3)3(MeOH)] n (1) and [Ln(H2L)1.5(NO3)3] n [Ln=La (2), Eu (3), Sm (4) and Gd (5)]. Crystal structural analysis reveals that H2L effectively functions as a bridging ligand forming one-dimensional (1D) chain and two-dimensional (2D) open-framework polymers. Solid-state fluorescence spectra of 3 and 4 exhibit typical red fluorescence of Eu(III) and Sm(III) ions at room temperature while 2 emits blue fluorescence of ligand H2L. The lowest triplet level of ligand H2L was calculated on the basis of the phosphorescence spectrum of 5. The energy transfer mechanisms in the lanthanide polymers were described and discussed. Abstract: The stepwise synthesis of mononuclear (4f) and heterodinuclear (3d–4f) Salen-like complexes has been investigated through structural determination of the intermediate and final products occurring in the process. In the first step, reactions of ligand H2L and Ln(NO3)3 ·6H2O give rise to three mononuclear lanthanide complexes Ln(H2L)(NO3)3 [H2L= N,N′-ethylene-bis(3-methoxysalicylideneimine), Ln=Nd (1), Eu (2) and Tb (3)], in which N,N′-ethylene-bis(3-methoxysalicylideneimine) acts as tetradentate ligands with the O2O2 set of donor atoms capable of effective coordination. These species are fairly stable and have been isolated. Then, addition of Cu(Ac)2 ·H2O to the mononuclear lanthanide complex yields expected heterodinuclear (3d–4f) complexes Cu(L)Ln(NO3)3 ·H2O [Ln=Nd (4) and Eu (5)] where the Cu(II) ion is inserted to the inner N2O2 cavity. Luminescent analysis reveals that complex 3 exhibits characteristic metal-centered fluorescence of Tb(III) ion. Abstract: Lewis acid/base addition between Ln(NO3)3 ·6H2O (Ln=Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb and Lu) and H2salen [H2salen= N,N′-ethylenebis(salicylideneimine)] gives rise to an array of coordination polymeric structures. Crystal structural analysis reveals that Salen effectively functions as a bridging ligand in these compounds. The size of the lanthanide ions controls the structures of these Salen lanthanide complexes. Two representative structures with one dimensional and two dimensional topologies, viz. [Pr(H2salen)(NO3)3(CH3OH)2] n (1) and [Ln(H2salen)1.5(NO3)3] n [Ln=Pr (2), Nd (3), Sm (4), Eu (5), Tb (6) and Lu (7)] are reported. Luminescent spectra of complexes 4 and 5 exhibit characteristic metal-centered emission lines. Background Few safety and effectiveness results have been published regarding the administration of tenofovir alafenamide fumarate (TAF) during pregnancy for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of hepatitis B virus (HBV). Methods In this multicenter prospective observational study, pregnant women with HBV DNA levels higher than 200 000 IU/mL who received TAF or tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) from gestational weeks 24–35 to delivery were 1:1 enrolled and followed until postpartum month 6. Infants received immunoprophylaxis. The primary endpoint was the safety of mothers and infants. The secondary endpoint was the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive rate at 7 months for infants. Results In total, 116 and 116 mothers were enrolled, and 117 and 116 infants were born, in the TAF and TDF groups, respectively. TAF was well tolerated during a mean treatment duration of 11.0 weeks. The most common maternal adverse event was nausea (19.0%). One (0.9%), 3 (2.6%), and 9 (7.8%) mothers had abnormal alanine aminotransferase levels at delivery and at postpartum months 3 and 6, respectively. The TDF group had safety profiles that were comparable to those of the TAF group. No infants had birth defects in either group. The infants' physical and neurological development at birth and at 7 months in the TAF group were comparable with those in the TDF group. The HBsAg positive rate was 0% at 7 months in all 233 infants. Conclusions Antiviral prophylaxis with TAF was determined to be generally safe for both mothers and infants and reduced the MTCT rate to 0%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Liver injuries have been reported in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). This study aimed to investigate the clinical role played by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).Methods: In this multicentre, retrospective study, the parameters of liver function tests in COVID-19 inpatients were compared between various time-points in reference to SARS-CoV-2 shedding, and 3 to 7 days before the first detection of viral shedding was regarded as the reference baseline.Results: In total, 70 COVID-19 inpatients were enrolled. Twenty-two (31.4%) patients had a self-medication history after illness. At baseline, 10 (14.3%), 7 (10%), 9 (12.9%), 2 (2.9%), 15 (21.4%), and 4 (5.7%) patients already had abnormal alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), albumin, and total bilirubin (TBIL) values, respectively. ALT and AST abnormal rates and levels did not show any significant dynamic changes during the full period of viral shedding (all p > 0.05). The GGT abnormal rate (p = 0.008) and level (p = 0.033) significantly increased on day 10 of viral shedding. Meanwhile, no simultaneous significant increases in abnormal ALP rates and levels were observed. TBIL abnormal rates and levels significantly increased on days 1 and 5 of viral shedding (all p < 0.05). Albumin abnormal decrease rates increased, and levels decreased consistently from baseline to SARS-CoV-2 clearance day (all p < 0.05). Thirteen (18.6%) patients had chronic liver disease, two of whom died. The ALT and AST abnormal rates and levels did not increase in patients with chronic liver disease during SARS-CoV-2 shedding.Conclusions: SARS-CoV-2 does not directly lead to elevations in ALT and AST but may result in elevations in GGT and TBIL; albumin decreased extraordinarily even when SARS-CoV-2 shedding ended. We present in‐situ zircon laser ablation‐inductively coupled plasma‐mass spectrometry (LA‐ICP‐MS) U–Pb ages, whole‐rock geochemistry, and Sr–Nd–Pb–Hf isotopes of the Mugagangri monzogranite in the southern margin of the Qiangtang Block, Tibet, western China. The zircons yield a U–Pb age of ca. 123 Ma. The hornblende‐bearing monzogranite shows metaluminous to weak peraluminous and high‐K calc‐alkaline characteristics exemplified by high silica (SiO2 = 67.57–70.57 wt%), high aluminium (Al2O3 = 14.68–15.78 wt%), high potassium (K2O = 4.00–5.14 wt%), high alkali (K2O + Na2O = 7.88–8.62 wt%), and low calcium contents (CaO = 1.72–2.17 wt%), with the aluminium saturation index (A/CNK) ranging from 0.98 to 1.09, suggesting that the Mugagangri monzogranite is a metaluminous to weak peraluminous I‐type high‐K calc‐alkaline granite. Geochemically, similar to the arc magmas, the monzogranite is enriched in large‐ion lithophile elements, and relatively depleted in high‐field‐strength elements. The monzogranite displays relatively high (87Sr/86Sr)i values (0.70972–0.71240), uniform εNd(t) values (−2.24 to −3.40), variable zircon εHf(t) values (−14.1 to +8.0), and high radiogenic Pb isotopic values (206Pb/204Pb = 18.588–18.790, 207Pb/204Pb = 15.616–15.642, and 208Pb/204Pb = 38.838–39.053). These geochemical characteristics indicate that the monzogranite was derived from a mixed source comprising ancient crustal and mantle materials, and experienced fractional crystallization during emplacement. We propose that the parental magma of the Mugagangri monzogranite was most likely generated during northward subduction of the Bangong Co‐Nujiang Meso‐Tethys Ocean. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Rare-metal pegmatite represents the most differentiated magmatic system on earth, containing high concentrations of rare metals (Li, Rb, Cs, Be, Ta, Nb, and Sn) and fluxing components. Recent studies have shown that the Himalayan leucogranite–pegmatite system has considerable potential for rare-metal mineralization. A new spodumene pegmatite-type Li deposit (Gabo) was recently discovered in the Lhozhag region of the eastern Himalaya. However, the lack of precise geochronological and isotopic constraints on the crystallization timing and chemical affinity between spodumene pegmatites and nearby leucogranite has precluded definitive statements on their petrogenetic link. In this study, systematic monazite, xenotime, and columbite group mineral U–(Th)–Pb dating and Li–Nd–Hf isotope analysis were performed on the spodumene pegmatite and nearby leucogranite (Lhozhag pluton). Columbite group mineral LA-ICP-MS U Pb dating of spodumene pegmatite indicates that the timing of lithium mineralization occurs at ca. 20–18 Ma, which is consistent with the magmatic crystallization age of the Lhozhag pluton (ca. 19 Ma) within the error margin, as constrained by monazite and xenotime U–(Th) Pb dating. The Nd Hf isotope analysis also indicates a chemical affinity between the Lhozhag pluton and spodumene pegmatite. Given the consistency in crystallization ages, Nd Hf isotopic compositions, and close field spatial relationship, the leucogranite probably represents the parent magma of spodumene pegmatites. The continuous evolutionary trend in the composition of spodumene pegmatites, as observed on the spodumene (Spd)– albite (Ab)–orthoclase (Or)–quartz (Qz)–H 2 O phase diagram, suggests that the enrichment of Li in pegmatite is result from fractional crystallization. Li isotopic analysis shows that the spodumene pegmatite has a δ7Li value of −2.5‰ to +3.3‰, slightly higher than that of the Lhozhag pluton (−2.4‰ to +1.0‰), providing additional support for their fractional crystallization links. These findings warrant a more comprehensive assessment of the lithium potential within the Himalayan orogenic belt.
