The art of eloquence and oratory is called rhetoric. Rhetoric is an effective communication and socialization tool. It is possible to benefit from rhetoric in enriching the language skills and vocabulary of individuals. Rhetoric can be used to motivate students to the lesson, to make the lesson interesting, and to develop students' solutiongenerating skills. This study was conducted in order to reveal the views of Turkish and classroom teachers on rhetorical discourse perceptions and to analyze whether the answers given by the participants to the questions of the scale differ. The attitude scale prepared for the research was applied to a total of 121 teachers, including 85 Turkish teachers and 36 classroom teachers. Percentage, frequency values and arithmetic means of the data obtained from the research results were calculated and interpreted. Factor analysis of the attitude scale was made and alpha values were found for its reliability. In order to determine the differences of the answers given by the sample group to the attitude scale according to the gender and the branches of the teacher, "independent sample t test" was applied and interpreted. The "one-way ANOVA" test was applied and interpreted to determine the differences in the responses of the subjects to the scale items according to their seniority in their profession. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that there is no significant difference between the teachers' views regarding the use of rhetoric in Turkish lessons in terms of seniority in the profession. It has been determined that there is a significant difference between the teachers' opinions regarding the use of rhetoric in Turkish lessons in terms of gender and branch variables.
