Dear Editor, BRAF-V600E-targeted-therapy (TT) and immune-checkpoint-inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized the treatment of metastatic melanoma (MM). Subcutaneous and bone lesions in patients with MM under TT should not be immediately interpreted as disseminated metastasis, as they could also represent drug-induced TT effects. PET-CT-scan showed a partial lymph-node response, contrasting with the occurrence of hypermetabolic subcutaneous lesions and bone foci of the tibias/calcaneus/right radius and humerus (Figure 1e).
