This article provides an overview of the status of analytical chemistry education worldwide. The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) has funded a project to assess the state of analytical chemistry education due to concerns about its declining professional status. It also examines how analytical chemistry is incorporated into the curricula of several countries, including Australia, Germany, Peru, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
