This paper deals with the project of visually representing the organizational structure of the Croatian Bureau for Surveying and Cadastral Affairs. The organization of regional cadastral offices in the Republic of Croatia follows the organization of its counties. Branches of regional cadastral offices are situated in larger county cities. Each level of cadastral organization in Croatia has its own responsibility for their cadastral municipalities and manages spatial information about them. Cadastral offices manage data on cadastral municipalities in their area, as well as on cadastral parcels within each individual municipality. This project has used the ASP (Active Server Pages) technology to create a dynamic Web page containing the visualized organizational structure of cadastral offices in Croatia through interactive maps with the exactly pinpointed location of each cadastral office on Google Maps. The Web page is accessed by a selected cadastral municipality (C.M.), which then enables the viewing of basic details on a certain cadastral office, and furthermore, accessing Web pages with the data on cadastral parcels and possessory sheets. Regarding all information available, the better visualization and search methods of the organizational structure of Croatian cadastral offices are presented by using GIS spatial analysis, metadata and queries by available data for each cadastral municipality. Metadata in the digital sense are previously described structured data, which simplify resource management by explaining or locating them, or on some other way. The project should also visually illustrate the layers of used data. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
