New pigments entity DCC Lansco, formed by the recent merger between Canadian pigments producer Dominion Colour Corp (DCC) and US-based pigments supplier Lansco Colours, reveals that it has invested more than US$13 million in the past year on improving productivity within its manufacturing sites. The enhancements range from environmental initiatives and the creation of efficiencies in the chemical processing system, to the development of technologically advanced products, the company reports. It primarily serves the coatings, plastics, inks and dispersions sectors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
