Vestibular papillomatosis (VP) is considered as an anatomical variant of vulva and suggested as counterpart of pearly penile papules in males. The condition, approximately present in about 1% of women, is characterized by pink, smooth, small papules located around the labia minor and vaginal introitus. Although it usually shows no symptoms, some women suffer from complaints such as itching, burning, sensitivity, and pain. Despite human papillomavirus has been accused in the etiology, no outcomes are found to support this association. The similarity of VP to genital warts leads to unnecessary examinations and treatments, thus causing anxiety in patients. Objective: The primary goal of the present study was to demonstrate the existence of a possible circadian variation in urgent operative deliveries. Methods: All urgent caesarean sections between 1 January 2014 and 1 January 2015 with known exact onset times of operation were included in this retrospective study. Cases that were previously scheduled for elective caesarean section were excluded. Information regarding age, delivery date, onset time of operation and type of anaesthesia was collected from the database. Analyses were completed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) version 20.0 software. The statistical significance for all analyses was set at p<0.05. Results: A total of 285 urgent caesarean section deliveries were included in the study. There were 126 (44.2%) deliveries during the day shift and 159 (55.8%) during the night shift. 80 patients (28.1%) received general anaesthesia and 65 (22.8%) received spinal anaesthesia in the morning shift, whereas 54 patients (18.9%) received general anaesthesia and 86 (30.2%) received spinal anaesthesia during the night shift. Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between trombocytes volume and severity of the disease on pregnants who diagnosed mild, severe preeclampsia or eclampsia. Methods: In this study 58 pregnants whose ages between 17 and 41 and past 28th week of delivery were included in this study. Twenty healthy pregnants were in control group (Group K) and 38 preeclamptic pregnants were in study group. Study group was seperated into two groups as 20 mild preeclamptic pregnants (Group H) and 18 severe preeclamptic pregnants (Group A). Furthermore, thrombocyte counts were seperated into 3 groups as <100,000/mm3 (Group 1), 100,000-150,000/mm3 (Group 2), >150,000/mm3 (Group 3) and association between thrombocyte volumes and thrombocyte counts were determined. Complete cell count was viewed for two times at 3rd trimester and 6 weeks after delivery and mean thrombocyte volumes and thrombocyte counts were recorded at this time. Association between mean thrombocyte volumes on severity of preeclampsia and thrombocyte counts were examined. Demographic characteristics, number of births, week of pregnancy, birthweight, type of delivery and fetal biometric measurements were recorded. Results: Prenatal and postnatal mean thrombocyte volumes of Group A was found higher than Group H and Group K. Comparison of prenatal and postnatal mean thrombocyte volumes of Group K and Group H were found insignificant. Prenatal thrombocyte counts were seperated into three groups as <100,000/mm3 (Group 1), 100,000-150,000/mm3 (Group 2), >150,000/mm3 (Group 3), mean thrombocyte volumes of groups were calculated 10.11±0.72 fl (femtoliter), 18±0.48 fl, 7.82±0.53 fl, respectively. According to MPV values, comparison between 2. group and 3. group were found insignificant, however comparison between 1. group and 2. group with 3. group were found significant. As a result of these examinations, mean thrombocyte volume was increasing if the clinical situation was gone worse and thrombocyte count was dropped Conclusion: Nearby prognostic factors, MPV values may be usefull for seriousness of preeclampsia. But if the literature is examined, increased MPV values are found at normal pregnancies. These parameters can be usefull for Preeclampsia follow up but more studies is neeeded. Aim: After spinal anesthesia, there are studies investigating the hypotension, ephedrine need and sensory block level according to the weight or abdominal circumference of the pregnant woman. Pregnant's weight or abdominal circumference is a rough description of the uterine content (the weight of the fetus, the weight of the placenta and amount of the amniotic fluid). The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between weight of the fetus, weight of the placenta and amount of the amniotic fluid and the ephedrine need after spinal anesthesia. Material and Method: Fifty-one parturients who underwent cesarean section with spinal anesthesia were included in the study. 12.5 mg hyperbaric bupivacaine was injected into the subarachnoid space at the L3-4 intervertebral level. After spinal anesthesia, hypotension was defined as systolic blood pressure <100 mmHg or 30% decrease compared to baseline. Ephedrine (5 mg) was administered when hypotension was present. Bradycardia was defined as heart beat <60 beats / min. Atropine (0.5 mg) was made when bradycardia was present. Before spinal anesthesia and after spinal anesthesia, blood pressure values at 2, 5, 10, 20 and 30th minutes were recorded. At the end of the study, blood pressure variation, ephedrine and atropine requirement were evaluated according to fetus weight, placenta weight and amnion fluid amount. Result: No significant correlation was found between fetal weight, placenta weight, amniotic fluid index and ephedrine requirement (r = 0.063, p = 0.660; r = 0.093, p = 0.518; r = 0.162, p = 0.257, respectively). Conclusion: After spinal anesthesia, there are no relation between amount of the ephedrine used and fetal weight, placenta weight, amniotic fluid amount in pregnant women. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was designed and conducted at our university hospital between March 2013-April 2013 by the method of face-to-face interviews with 500 women who presented to the hospital as patient or relatives of patients. Poll consisted of 6 questions about demographic characteristics and 14 questions evaluating the opinions and attitudes about abortion. Results: The age of the women who participated in the study was ranging between 18 and 75 years with the mean age of 31.5±11.9 years. Twenty-six women (5.2%) were illiterate, while 109 (21.8%) were university graduates. 70.8% of women stated that they were against elective abortion. Among the reasons against abortion on request were: "forbidden by the religion"-53.1% of women, "against human rights"-35.3%, and "unhealthy for the mother"-7.1% of women. About the prohibition of abortion, 82.4% of women said that "it may be performed under necessary conditions", 9.6% "it should be completely forbidden", and 8% stated that "it should never be forbidden". Conclusion: A large number of respondents reported that they have negative attitude towards elective abortion, however, in case of medical necessity, abortion should be performed. During the legal arrangements done about situations that may affect the public health, such as abortion regulations, we believe it would be useful to assess the perspective of the society on this issue.
