Abstract

The article discusses the development of community paediatric care in Great Britain and in other countries. It cites the reforms being implemented to the National Health Service. It also presents the challenges that confront any undergraduate and postgraduate education program, including child mental health disorders, learning difficulties and obesity. The hindrances towards the advancement of development programs for community child health care, including recruitment, are also cited.
