The research sought to analyze the innovative behavior of employees who work in a telecommunications company in Ceará. The study is exploratory, descriptive and quantitative, with data collected through a survey (questionnaire), with 187 employees and treated by descriptive statistics and factor analysis, supported by the Organizational Development Theory, developed by Bradford (1962) and by the Theory of Planned Behavior, elaborated by Ajzen (1985). The results point to a dynamic and flexible organization, which promotes stimuli and supports innovative behavior, however, it is necessary to improve the environment and organizational structure. Finally, when innovative behavior is frequently adopted, organizational and process innovation results, which promotes organizational innovation, development and competitiveness.
