Supercapacitors are gaining popularity as a component in energy storage systems due to their quick charge/discharge rates and high specific power. A facile method is introduced in this research to fabricate a novel ternary nanocomposite-based manganese oxide decorated on polyaniline/graphitic carbon nitride (PANI-GCN) nanohybrid modified graphite sheet (GC) electrode via the electrochemical deposition method. As-prepared nanocomposite modified electrode morphology, elemental analysis, surface functionalities studies, and crystalline behavior are proved using SEM, Energy Dispersive Analysis, FT-IR, and XRD techniques. The electrochemical measurements are obtained by CV, GCD, and EIS. For Bare GS, PANI, and PANI-GCN, the solution resistance (Rs) that gauges the ionic conductivity across the electrolyte, was measured to be 60.57 Ω, 7.28 Ω, and 6.19 Ω, respectively. A greater specific capacitance of 318 F/g at 1 A/g was displayed by the developed MnO 2 @PANI-GCN electrode and lower charge transfer resistance over the PANI and PANI-GCN electrodes. Furthermore, the proposed electrode has shown the capacitive retention of 80.62% up to 1000 cycles. These results indicate that the ternary nanocomposite MnO 2 @PANI-GCN shows significant electrochemical properties towards energy storage applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: Medical ethics as a term is referred to as functional branch of ethics which analyzes the practice of scientific medicine and associated scientific research. It is based on a set of standards that medical professionals can refer to in conditions there is a matter of some conflict. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out on Foreign Medical Graduates (FMG's) using a pre tested questionnaire. Results and Discussion: While most of the answers were satisfactory, a few had responded in a way which questions the ethical training of the FMG's, while 1 had not even taken the Hippocratic Oath. In this work, a simple two-step electrodeposition strategy has been successfully developed to fabricate morphology-controlled gold microspheres (AuMS) decorated polydiphenylamine (PDPA) nanohybrid modified FTO electrode. The physicochemical characterization of PDPA/AuMS modified electrode has been explored using XRD and SEM/EDX mapping techniques. Results showed the controlled synthesis of uniform-sized raspberry-like AuMS were decorated in the PDPA matrix to form the electrocatalytically active PDPA/AuMS nanohybrid material on the FTO electrode. As-fabricated PDPA/AuMS modified FTO electrode was used as an efficient electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation reaction under an alkaline environment for fuel cell applications. Cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy techniques were employed to investigate the as-prepared electrode's electrochemical responses and methanol oxidation reaction (MOR). PDPA/AuMS hybrid electrode showed 1.04 mA/cm2 as the current density at a lower scan rate (50 mV/ sec) with a lower potential value of 0.43 V, which indicates the excellent electrocatalytic activity of the fabricated electrode. Moreover, the as-prepared electrode showed more extended stability and durability (60 min) towards MOR due to the combined existence of AuMS and PDPA matrix, which enhances the catalytic property. Based on the above results, an as-prepared PDPA/AuMS nanohybrid composite can be applied as a potential electrocatalyst/alternative electrode for direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) applications. India is home to the most significant number of tuberculosis (TB) cases around the globe. The COVID-19 crisis has deeply perturbed most of the essential TB services in India. Regulating TB is difficult in a densely populated country like India due to latent TB infection in millions of Indians, which can reactivate at any point in the future. Due to the ongoing pandemic, healthcare workers have been diverted to activities implemented for effective COVID-19 management, leaving a meager workforce to help deal with TB management. Integrating TB and COVID-19 to augment India's health outreach is the need of the hour to diminish the effect of the COVID-19 crisis on TB. Increasing overall testing capacity, active screening, implementation of strategies for easy identification of TB hotspots, and ensuring uninterrupted drug supply for treatment through heedful planning of local and regional distribution and transportation will especially help cater to the vulnerable population who are at a high risk of suffering from adverse outcomes of TB. Lessons learnt in the battle against COVID-19 can most definitely help in providing insights to fulfill the goal of eliminating TB from India. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Zika virus remains endemic and opportunistic of high transmission in the tropical region of Africa, and the repeated cases of the Zika virus in Africa made it public health emergency in 2016. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the catastrophic cases of unknown and unreported deaths overwhelming the region of Africa could not give health attention to respond to other endemic diseases. Here, we present the possible complication and challenges associated with the Zika virus in Africa and COVID-19 predominance, shifting the attention from the Zika virus surveillance. This paper determines to enlighten the reader about the situation, the efforts to curb the transmission of both the Zika virus and the COVID-19 pandemic.
